I'm a regular here so I always see the secret shopper here and it's a pretty awkward shopping experience whenever she's there, she loves to stare and you can feel it. Other than that this target is ok, I only have to come here because it's the closest one to me. The food department needs to keep an eye out for their product. This store is convenient to go to and the customer service is great. I am always greeted with a smile and given assistance when needed. I often come here when I am in a rush and it is frustrating the way they push the Target Red card on their customers. They tell you that signing up will only take a minute and will save you 5%. Who wouldn't want to sign up? Well....it doesn't take just a minute. It takes about 5 minutes while they take a voided check, manually input your information into their system and go over their terms and conditions. Meanwhile, everyone behind you in line is being inconvenienced and delayed in their check out. Rather than having the supervisor walk along the registers ringing a bell and congratulating the cashier for finding a new Red Card member, that supervisor should take the new Red Card member aside and sign them up for the cashier so that other customers don't have to suffer. read more

I LOVE Target but they are always out of stock on so many items. I try to wait until I am in Rancho to shop at that one. But today I was able to walk out with what I needed. Returned 2 bathing suits I bought for my daughter that were too small. Never had that problem before. They did not have much of a selection nor sizes but I dug and found 1 that fit her. Love this place! It's only 5 minutes from my house, everything I need is here, good quality stuff, and clean and organized store. On top of that I have the target red card so I get an extra 5% off and they have a Starbucks and free wifi at this location! As far as customer service the staff has always been friendly at the register and the one time I had to return a product (which I had opened but never used - pool toy but the Fontana pools don't allow you to use pool toys at their pools) I was able to return it with no problem. I will always choose Target before Walmart even if I have to pay a little extra because the shopping experience is much better. read more

The service is pretty friendly here and most people are fairly polite. One thing to look out for... if you went to high school around here, you most likely will run into couple people that you knew from the past when you come here to shop. This place have a strange tendency to arrange random awkward high school reunion of some sort... This particular Target is in a very convenient place easily accessible from the ten fwy. Staff is friendly and are always willing to help. Good selection on most items, there's even groceries here, the dvd and music selection has shrunk drastically in the last few months but it's still decent enough. Prices are generally good but only about fair when it comes to food and groceries though. Entering and leaving the parking lot can be a pain due to crazy amount of traffic caused by the chinese buffet place and Shakey's nearby. read more

I usually go to this Target on a weekly basis because I love it so much, but I had the worst experience today. The young cashier named Ericka was a total witch. She was rude, combative and had an overall terrible attitude. She had no holiday spirit and when I handed her my phone to scan the coupons she looked at my phone then handed it back and never even scanned it. After she totaled the transaction I told her the coupons were not applied and she told me a have to give it to her before she starts scanning everything. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?? Is she so absent minded that she forgot I already handed her my phone at the beginning? She had to void the transaction and start over on my transaction and it took forever. This particular Target store is usually clean. I'm usually here during the week in the morning. While it isn't always crowded, as with most stores lines build up quickly when there are only one or 2 registers open. The kids clothing department is usually clean and easy to locate items which is pretty rare in big box stores. read more

I typically frequent 3 different Target's depending upon what I'm doing at the time. Unfortunately, the Target on Slover, has long lines at the registers, with only a few registers open. I've been in there several times throughout the day and the lines are always long. I visited this one on Thursday night, 3/19, around 6:45pm, and waited over 20 minutes to return an item. When I went looking for additional assistance, I was told they don't have any additional employees to help out and that they were short staffed. Considering this isn't an isolated incident, management should reconsider how they schedule their staff. The Target by my house always seems to have plenty of lanes open, employees on the floor asking if you need help, and a quick return line. read more

The bathrooms are ALWAYS filthy & you can smell foul odor coming from them while waiting in checkout line; the cafe/Starbucks eating area is always messy/dirty with sticky floors being sprinkled with popcorn & trash, never any clean tables. I had a very bad experience yesterday me and my husband were shopping and we wanted to buy two movies that were on sale and they had display we talk to customer service to get them.for that price that the display was she said she couldn't that only the manager could do that and so she call the manager Casey who was very discriminatory towards me and my husband I ask him to to go look at the display and he said no and he was only going to do it for one and that's it he also was very rude he denied us the movies we left and went to another target in summit and we got the movies for the same price we had saw the movies on display at the target in slover in Fontana and talk to the main manager in summit there and she was very pleasant and we explain to her and she was kind enough to figure out and turns out there was a special so that man is rude and racist who know who else he has done this too read more

This Target is by far the worse one we have visited. We visited this one because my wife was unfortunate enough to be assigned to the Fontana Kaiser for her prenatal visits and we had some time before her appointment and we decided to do some shopping. The selection of diapers here were non existent because their shelf was not stocked at all and when we were checking out we paid for our items and they forgot to put a bag of items in the cart. When my wife contacted the supervisor Rafael he sounded like he wanted to help and took down her receipt and contact information but decided not to call her back. I guess they decided that $25 worth of items wasn't worth their time or effort so now we're going to spend our money on diapers and other baby items from Costco, Amazon and other stores. read more

Decided to meet up with sisters and parents to shop spend time bargain hunting and Halloween shopping . Because the store is upside down and everything is everywhere you have to basically walk up and down every isle to make sure you didn't miss what you came for . Yes we were all in there for a while , but enjoyed our time . We all checked out basically at the same time ... all of a sudden 3 security guards came to the door and stopped us all and made us show our receipts !!!! What the hell since when did Target take up Walmart exit method ??? I Love Target however I have soo many issues with this location. Most of the staff doesn't even know what their doing. I purchased my son a hat that had a sign saying they were 20% off so when it rang up at regular price I informed her of the sign. The cashier took out an add and looked through it, she then started walking around looking for a manager to confirm. I kept telling her I can show you the sign.. She was making the BIGGEST deal about this. Finally she said I'd have to wait for a manager. Finally a manager said that they would do me a favor and honor the 20% off. Hmmmm?? What favor I asked the cashier? The sign clearly says that its on sale. Then she rang up a second hat that I was purchasing and it reflected the correct sale price. Oh you should have seen the cashier face! I sure hope she felt dumb for making such a big deal and giving me a hard time. All I could say was Wow.. Thanks for that favor!.. maybe they'll learn the customers always right. Another issue is that it'll take a long time to get through the check out lines. Today was, unfortunately, my last day shopping at Target. I've been a longtime customer, but I have absolutely had it with Target's deplorable lack of efficient customer service. My location (Fontana, CA) typically has one or two service lanes open (out of 15 lanes!), even on busy weekends. The self-service line is always jammed-packed. Today I was forced to check out at one of the two open registers, only to find that my line came to a grinding halt because your employee talked a customer into signing up for your Target credit card! This has happened to me repeatedly - I have even spoken with the store manager about this. How can you offer only TWO registers open and then force the line to STOP because someone feels the need to signup for your credit card?!! Why not have those people signup at the Customer Service department? And why am I repeatedly asked to signup for your card EVERY TIME I make a purchase?! Saying "NO" to one of your employees evokes the response "are you sure...you'll save money on your next purchase." I understand that you are requiring your employees to push your credit card, but when a customer says NO, please respect that. I'm saddened that Target will no longer be a shopping option for me. Perhaps, if changes can be made at the store-level, I will return someday. read more

Worst target ever! All targets are the same pretty much, but the employees in this one are quite awful. First I'll start with the pharmacy. You can tell no one wants to be there. I walked up to the counter to pick up prescription and seriously the pharmacy tech was doing everything in her power to avoid eye contact. I even said hello quite loudly and was ignored. I finally shouted "can I get some help before I was acknowledged. Quite infuriating. The second incident happened at checkout. I was holding my then 9 month old daughter, and the checker said "he's so cute". I corrected him saying she was a girl, he looked embarrassed and I said it's okay, she dressed in blue today. I totally understand that all babies look the same to people so didn't take offense until he said and I quote "I don't really look at the clothes, I look at the face." So your telling me my baby girl with long eyelashes and pouty lips looks like a boy!!! I'm sorry even if you think she did, you don't say things like that it's insulting. The final straw came when I had some coupons for free yogurt cups. I brought up my yogurt and presented the coupons. Apparently this was confusing. So confusing that the cashier called a supervisor who was also confused. They were supposed to be free which seemed to baffle them and they also couldn't understand that I could use more than one on the same transaction. I literally had to read the fine the print to them so they could grasp the concept and they still didn't get it. I finally gave up, told them to put back the yogurt and walked out of there. I love shopping at Target but there are a few bad experiences I have had... -Long lines! - I had an experience where I was in line for some time and suddenly the lady closed her register and turned off the light and asked us to go to another line because her register froze! yes, wasn't her fault, but where was the manager to open another register for the ones that waited for nothing. ugh! what a waste of time. -Also, They need to restock more. The cashiers always ask if I found everything okay. the answer is usually...NO. I let them know, they say sorry and there is no change. For example, when I go to the make up section, I always check and they are never fully stocked on NYX products. Months went by before I saw one of the products I needed to purchase. I was about to buy a few, but noticed that some lame customers opened all of the eyebrow pencils...of the SAME color! Really, the first pencil you opened wasn't enough reasurrance of the color. when I asked an employee if they had more in the back I was told there were none. Restock and keep a few reserves in the back. You have a local Target Warehouse, give them a call. read more

I don't even want to Give this target one star. My daughter and I was there yesterday to take back a couple of items. Well when we walked in there were at least 20 people in line all ready. The 2 paramedics came in and we over heard them saying they didn't want to wait in line so they said they had a call and had to go. Well if they had a call they still waited for somebody to help them and then they left so their call wasn't very urgent. There was only one girl working the return line so now my daughter went and told a manager and he said someone would be right over. Well another girl came and she was real efficient. We were finally helped and got the heck out of there. I have learned my lesson now from Target not to shop there or Walmart cuz they treat their customers like crap. Those paramedics didn't run out of the store they were from San Bernardino they had no business in Fontana. All they did was use their clout to get ahead of all of us. Oh man where do I start? I have always been a target shopper. I am now going to be a Walmart one unless I move to another area where the target is better. This south Fontana store is trashed from the outside to the inside. Carts all over the parking lot slamming into cars. Better grab one of this carts because there will be none to be found in the inside cart staging area. As I walked through the store there was merchandise scattered all over the place. I was just there buying my babies' formula and there machine at the register didn't work for the coupons I had. The cashier by the way was nice and perfectly professional the whole time. They should promote her to supervisor because her supervisor Marco was horrible. He came up with a bad attitude hitting the machinery to try to make it work, the whole complaining shaming me for having some coupons to divert from his own incompetence. They finally moved us to another register after the cashier suggested it. Then he said I couldn't use the coupon for my babies formula (which I have used with no problem many times before) because my name was not on it and my wife's name was. We have the same last name as I showed him my ID. It was very cold outside and she was home taking care of our babies. I mean if that is the policy fine but I was nice the whole way through. No need to be rude. To top it off as as I was leaving he walked passed me letting out a big sigh. I mean come on what did he want a thank you for nothing. I noticed another bad review about a supervisor with long hair which Marco did have. Might be the same supervisor. I will be sure to also let corporate know what is happening at this target store. My family has been a target family for a couple generations now. I might be changing us to a Walmart family At least while we live in Fontana. read more

This is far the worst customer service my family have ever received. Starbucks employee Robert forgot my order for at least 30 minutes and when called his attention about the situation, Manager TRISTAN rudely apologize for the inconvenience and yet showed no gesture of sincerity. She even commented that I should not make a scene which I was not, meaning do not make people aware of this faulty service of their team members. She even called Security to have us leave Target because of this. I understand that they have the right to do this, but this TRISTAN saying it to my 2 children (ages 10 and 6 years old) that they can no longer enter the premises. How rude can that be? I even told them, my husbands disabled and my children are still eating. It is the crews mistake and yet it seemed that the Management didnt see this. It brought trauma to my 2 minors. to think we just did our black friday and weekend shopping here. This TRISTAN should be given the necessary actions. This is the first time I have encountered this. They need to retrain all their damn cashiers!! I went to customer service with ALL my things let them know the situation so employee has someone "check cameras" I'm guessing cuz then some bald headed guy comes out to tell me that all three items I got charged for went in my bags!! Also that item that I didn't buy went in my bag!! I tell him I only bought one of the items and don't even know what that other item is because I don't have it!! So he tells me again that all items went in my bags!! What the fuck so he's calling me a liar basically because I only have one of the item!! I tell him to show me that all items went into my bags then he says "he can't" I bet you can't cuz I don't have them you dumb ass!! Why in the hell would I make a big deal if I have all the items that I paid for but since I didn't I'm in this situation!!
