Ok, this is a review for the Starbuck's IN the the Target of the Galleria. I wouldn't write such a petty review, but the disgust I got from this place prompted me to write this review. First off, I think the Starbuck's shares it's facility with some other food place as I saw people eating burgers or fried cheese sandwiches or some other crap like that. Anyhoo, the counter had a sticky coat on it, with crumbs to boot. The cashier had a semi-attitude and the barista had the genius in him to fill up the cup so full that sweetened coffee was overflowing the straw spout. When I proceeded to walk over to the counter where all the napkins, straws, etc. are, I tried to open the top to pour out excess coffee but the friggin' STENCH stopped me. I thought I was in an underground sewer. I don't know what people were throwing in that circular tube/trash can thing, but I can tell you it smelled. I quickly walked away and surveyed the scene. There was food, trash, crumbs, etc. all over the floor under the tables. I don't know what's up with their cleaning crew but I nearly barfed. read more

Anyway, now that I got that out of the way, there's not too much I can say that hasn't already been said except they did have a good selection of thermoses; and clock radios, and grocery items, and dvds, cds, and swim suits....it is a target and they have everything. I hate going to the galleria because parking is horrible. People do not know how to park in this place because they are to busy texting while driving and having their heads up their asses. This target store is really nice, and I love target. Associates don't know shit, and usually never want to help you out with anything really. All of them look like they haven't gotten laid in a long time and never really have any energy. #1.I have gotten asked for ID when I bought a Video Game that was Rated M. I mean really? really? who asks for ID for those anymore, do they not know even if a person who is under 17 that cant buy the game can easily go and have someone else buy it? very stupid and that made me really mad. #2 they ask ID for me buying a lighter. Yes I am a smoker but what if I wasn't and just needed a lighter to light my charcoal or light a candle? That is way too far. Pathetic really #3 They don't ask for ID on any Credit transactions. Wow I mean really? what if i stole a credit card that had the name Sally Jesse Raphael on it and I bought 3 XBOX 360's and the Shake Weight? Nope no ID Check. Well....i like this target because it's convenient to my mom's house and in BH where I currently reside, I have only 2 choices: The WeHo location where parking is not free and the crowd is suffocating or the Culver City location where it has been ranked Forbes #1 place to hang with the ghetto crowd. Yes, it's overpriced...waay more than any other target. But I like it..dunno why, but I do. And now there are registers on both floors 1 and 2 (and floor 3 has a register in electronics). Parking and entering into the parking area is a problem coming from Colorado (with no stop sign and people constantly walking in front of moving cars)...but other than that...it's a winner for me... read more

This Tar-Jay is located in the Glendale Galleria and is huge. The two story Target has all the essentials you need for home and more. It is like any other Target except that it gets pretty packed due to the malls. The staff are nice and courteous as well as helpful No gripes no problems. read more

They sell hard alcohol!! *and for cheap!! As for the rest of the place, it is packed with more items than the typical Target. The staff is normally friendly, and helpful. BUT... parking is comparable to a dentist appointment, dreadful! read more

Standard Target Chain store. Open past 10 pm. Easy access to fashionable clothes. I visited because it was open later than 10 and I needed some clothes for a date. I walked in and found a mannequin wearing some cool grabs, so I grabbed those and headed to the register. Fastest 50 dollars I have ever spent. This target is great!!! Came here with my girlfriend on Black Friday and they have good deals. Found a lot of people gifts in minutes for decent prices.. lots of clothes and pretty clean. 3 levels which is cool. They shouldn't charge for bags though.. I HATE going to this Target. I'm advising everyone to make out their shopping list before you step foot into this store. Because it's 3 freakin stories--if you go in there with a mental list of what you need, you'll find yourself spending more time either in the elevator or on the escalator trying to get to that merchanise. At least you can look openly up or down the floors figuring out where or what floor the toothpaste might be on, then go onto a different floor for the babywash. Then go back down again because you forgot to buy a pack of socks and oh damn! I forgot to buy wrapping paper for that birthday gift that's on the damn second floor!! I'd rather spend a little more gas driving down Colorado to go to the one in Eagle Rock. That one seems to be more sane than the Target in Glendale. read more

When I arrived to pick up my order, the item somehow left the store and made it back to the wherehouse. Because this location is built vertically and not horizontally, it can sometimes be difficult to find what you are looking for. Be prepared to visit the different floors multiple times if you have a long list and you're not familiar with the layout. read more

I would give a no stars for customer service. I came here to return a few dresses I bought on sale (buy one get one 50% off). There were a couple of dresses that I did want to keep but the cashier at the time of purchase had paired a dress that I wanted to return with one that I wanted to keep together. So I wanted to get the same discount for the ones that I did want to keep. At first, the customer service rep said ok no problem. But then she did not give me the discount and rather than correct the mistake or at least call a manager to ok the transaction, she went to great lengths to provide zero customer service. When I pointed out that the total should be lower because of the sale, she tried to lie to me and tell me that the items I wanted were T shirts, not dresses so I don't get the discount. Uhhh, what???? Not only are they clearly dresses, but the sku numbers match on the receipt clearly showing that they were part of the sale. They were only listed as tee shirt on the receipt because they are made from t shirt material. So rather than honor the sale price she said the computer wont give it to me at the sale price. Well, I'm sure there was a way for her to over-ride the computer. Managers have done it in the past. And hello, computers are wrong sometimes. And honestly, anyone with good customer service would have let me keep the dresses that I did want to buy and honor the sale price. It was just dumb un-luck that the original cashier didn't pair the dresses I ended up wanting to keep together. This person clearly did not care whether Target made a sale or not as long as her job was easy. She was just a robot. If the computer didn't register the sale price, she wasn't going to think about how to solve the situation. Why the hell would you work at customer service when you just don't care about customer service? It's not like I bought these dresses ages ago. It was literally just a few days ago. And hello? I wanted to keep two dresses!!!! I got so upset at the customer service rep's lack of customer service, I returned everything. So zero stars for customer service. But five stars for saving me money by making me realizing that I don't need two more dresses. Thanks Target Glendale. read more

There is something seriously wrong with this Target. Every time I go here, my credit card gets declined. And I know what you're thinking -- well, that's your fault, Mimi, spend less money! But, no, it's because something about this Target tends to set off alarms with my Visa card and they automatically lock it down whenever I try to use it here. I've never had any problems with any other Target in Los Angeles. In fact, I've never had any problems with my cards any where else which is why I'm extra alarmed by these repeated lock-downs of my card. Moreover, people think that the 3 floors are so fabulous but it's really not especially when you you realize that you have to take an arduous escalator ride with your cart to just grab something you forgot on the third floor. The staff is nice but they don't really know where things are so much, though they're willing to walk up and down the aisles with you to help you look (though I really could have just walked up and down the aisles alone). read more

I like this target. It's weird that a good amount of people here dislike their customer service. I return things like crazy bc if I don't like it or its not to my satisfaction, I'm returning--I bought it, it's my money. But I've never had a rude worker encounter (only a rude customer one!). Word of advice, be careful when buying decorative pillows!!! Make sure they are good quality. They have cute decor stuff but some of their pillows are just crap. Buttons fall off. Threading comes off. Synthetic leather peels. I made a mistake and bought a cute, stud, pleather pillow. I get home and cut the tag off and place my cute pillow on the couch. Literally, a few days later, the studs start falling off left and right! I'm bummed bc I can't return it since I cut the tag off. I email target and tell them I am very disappointed with their craftsmanship, all they say is "sorry," which makes me more upset bc they didn't take care of their customer. I vow to not buy pillows from Target anymore. Months go by and the pillow is just hideous. I'm thinking, at this point I need to get rid of the pillow. But I just don't want to waste money so I chance it and see what the store can do for me. Of course when I get there and plead my case, the girl at the front desk says she cannot do anything for me because I don't have a receipt and it doesn't have any tags. I ask to speak to the manager. Tim comes to the front desk and totally hears me out. He tries looking for any evidence that the pillow is a target brand. I don't know if he finds anything but he allows me to get a new pillow!!! Customer service is terrible. Store pickup orders are out of stock without notice after waiting for 20 days. They reorder with a wrong item ,after multiple call attempts and being placed on hold,when you call in to cancel the wrong item. Canceled items are shipped immediately within minutes . Lol read more

This is the messiest Target I've been to; the ladies clothing section was so disorganized that I couldn't find any of the things I wanted. The place is always crowded, which is pretty standard for a Target but there are employees just standing around doing nothing important and they are sort of mad when you ask them a question. I ended up finding everything I wanted at the Target in Eagle Rock and that mall that smells like fish. How is it possible that that Target is better? That mall is so terrible! read more

This is the first Target I've ever been to where I've been profiled. I first entered the facility around 2:30 with my client (a 67 year old woman) I usually assist her with her shopping list and today's list only consisted of two things: Tide Laundry Pods & a new watch. Before we headed out my client had to use the restroom so I waited for her outside the restrooms. As we're heading out the security guard stops me and asks me for a receipt. Mind you I had the pods in one and arm and the watch in my other hand, if I'm going to shoplift anything why would I do it in plain sight ? Anyway because these aren't my personal items and I'm just here to assist my client. I had to turn to my client and ask her to take her wallet so she can show the receipt. There were people behind us but he didn't even bother to ask them for anything just simply let them pass by. One guy shows him his receipt but it was upside down and he acted like he checked it. I'm writing this review because the amount of ignorance radiating from this security guard at the door was unbelievable. I love target but this encounter was just above me. This location should seriously consider sending this guy back to training and retake shoplifting detection classes. read more

Our cashiers Michelle was so kind and helpful. She was really patient with my mom when she was trying to us her credit card. There were people being rude to telling us to hurry up even though we were there for less then 5 minutes doing two separate transactions one for me and one for my mom. Michelle kept herself very professional and asked those people to keep their social distance and apologized for the wait. She also apologized to us. She keeps a very sanitary checkout counter wiping it down after every customer. Thank you Michelle for being a great frontline worker! read more

I guess I am used to the Target's being spread out and most of the time layout is similar to others. Its a little difficult to find everything. I personally love that this place is three floors. It's giant. I love multi-floor Targets in general. This one is WAYYY better than the one in Pasadena, which sucks big time for whatever reason. It's a real downer. Depressing. But this one is not so (used to be a Robinson's May back in the day). I don't like that it's usually pretty crowded and parking is sometimes a bit of a drag, but overall, I think if I lived nearby I would be frequenting this Target. As it is, I live closer to Burbank (which is also a good Target). read more

I found it to be bigger than most in my experience, although the cute clothes always seem to sell out fast (but what else can you expect in Glendale). It's a multiple story behemoth, but not the kind that sell the fresh produce. All in all, I would give it an average rating. I sometimes see others use the carts to walk around the mall with..which I'll let you be the judge on that. Has the same items all targets have including a Starbucks, parking is free. They're other cashiers on the second level. The elevator entrance on the third floor is tucked away by the dvd/book section. It is an A-OK location. read more

I frequent this Target a lot. They added a produce and grocery shopping section last year which really made it a better experience. Some weeks, when I make a target run I can get away with not having to go to the supermarket as everything I need can get had here. On the downside, customer service is severely lacking. You pretty much have to chase a person in a redshirt down and grab them by the collar to get any help... 50/50 if they can actually answer your question. Also checkout lines can take a while. I don't understand why, during peak hours, they can't get more people on the check out lines to help. read more

Parking especially during the w)eek before Christmas was atrocious...when I was done parking (took 1/2 to find a spot), nothing like seeing people ding other people's cars either by bumping into them or swinging car doors like nothing! I tried looking for a few outfits for my newborn niece and the baby section look like a tornado hit it. Yikes! Went upstairs to the groceries section...mm, ok, a tad better. The cosmetics at this particular location lacks compares to other Targets, which is weird. 3 stars for the 3 floors. I know it's not Target's fault that its in a mall and I'm sure they save a lot of space but I don't dig Target's with more than 2 floors cause sometimes the escalator for the shopping carts get stuck and your stuff is on there until someone fixes it. I've also witnessed kids playing with the 2nd floor elevator and turning it off this is a nuisance and it's dangerous. This is a pretty popular Target since it's inside the Glendale Galleria so expect a lot of people and the length of lines can be be a tossup, either fast or slow. I particularly dislike one of the pharmacists at this location, she was so rude and unhelpful. It seemed as though she didn't want to be there-although I loathe the South Gate store, their pharmacy staff blow away the pharmacy staff here. This store is a catch 22, you can find great products and plenty of stocked shelves since it's still fairly new but a lot of people know that, so it's typically crowded. read more

I love target, but I really don't enjoy having to shop here. It's three stories tall so its a pain in the ass to get around. Especially if you forget something and have to go up and down escalators over and over again. They are also very short on items. They just don't have as much as other stores. It's only plus, and the only reason I go here sometimes over the one in hollywood is its large parking structure and easy access through highway 5. The hollywood target just has way too much traffic around it. read more
