Let's start off that this place is 3 stories and attached to a mall, it can be something great or something horrible. I guess a downside is parking since it's apart of a mall this is a parking garage and more spaces yet more people coming to the location not just for target but the rest of the mall. This location seemed larger or had a few more products than other targets. For those that are concerned about how will you shop since it is three stories, there are escalators in the middle of each floor and also have escalators for your carts! So it's pretty awesome, also you can pay on any of the floors. The bottom floor is all apparel for men, women and children. I had a horrible experience in the store. All the staff was unkind and rude. I was visiting the store with my kids and my mother. Staff was rude to my kids and my mother. It's just uncalled for. The restrooms were gross. The staff cleaning the restroom was very unkind and angry. In electronics the staff was kinder to each other and rude to the customers. Customer service is not a priority for Target apparently. Its sad. read more

Oh Target...I remember a time when you were cheap and cool, and I was proud to wander your white tiled floors, and unafraid to use your ladies room. That time has passed and now, the only thing more disgusting than your toilets is the customer service at this location. I used to choose you over WalMart because even though WM was cheaper, you were cleaner and your employees seemed to have at least a middle school education and the ability to smile occaisionally. WM is no longer an option, based on the fact that as I age I can no longer deal with cheapo products and bad service-I fear Target has followed suit and will forever be crossed off my list as an viable option to shopping at Macy's and Nordstrom. In particular: your employees are rude and ignorant of the products you sell-they seem to actually enjoy saying "i don't know" as if it were an achievement. Your bathrooms lack toilet seat covers (I'm not saying they're empty, I'm saying the device that holds them is absent) and smell like a volatile mix of crap and air freshener. This target is always under stocked on items and is usually a mess. I have had to ask for items to be pulled from the back multiple times, which shows that they do carry the inventory, but don't do a very good job putting it out on the shelves. I can't even count the number of times that an I've found barcodes for items up with an empty shelf behind it. read more

This is the worst Target ever! For a few reasons: - It shares parking with the Galleria. I could just stop right there as its enough to make anyone want to jump off a bridge... the Galleria parking situation is HORRIBLE. Fiance and I went there on Saturday evening and getting in to park was a pain in the ass and leaving was even more royal. We waited in a line of cars to get out of the parking structure for at least 30 minutes!!! Bullshit. - It wasn't extremely crowded, however the lines for checkout were very long on all levels. Understaffed. I overheard a lady coming in say that they had run out of carts. Weird, again, I didn't see that many people as I was shopping in the store. - They were out of stock with certain items and it didnt seem well organized. The closest Target to me that has free parking! Parking can be tough if you come to the Galleria at high peak hours, but there is always plenty of parking available. This place has 3 levels, with the awesome escalator for shopping carts. This store has always been clean and organized with a solid selection of clearance items in women's, infant, and men's clothing. At times, I have looked for grocery items (such as bread), only to learn that they are sold out! However, most of the time, items are always in stock. This is a smaller target than the larger one floor Targets found in suburbia, so there is less selection in flavors of food or sizes of kitchenware. Nevertheless, I always enjoy window shopping at this Target to pass time or wait for a friend who is finishing up shopping at the mall. Don't really understand the negative reviews for customer service. I have had great customer services experiences with fast check out and speedy returns. My only gripe is that I sometimes lose track of what I need and find myself riding the escalators between floors more than once (This is the downside of multilevel Targets). They have a great new grocery section, but of course no one in their right mind would ever buy groceries from someplace with 3 registers open on any given weekday, each 6 people deep. Biggest beezy to return or buy stuff at. So this is one of the closest target near me which is few miles away. I usually go here or the one at eagle rock which is just a tad bitter further. The biggest beezy about this place is returning and using coupons here. Returning stuff here has been the biggest issue. I mean yeah I've bought stuff here and tried the products but sometimes the products just wasn't what I'm looking for. So returning stuff is a beezy. I usually go to eagle rock mall target to return stuff and not once has a return staff turned me down. NOT ONCE. At the target inside the glendale galleria ALWAYS gives me a hard time. The second issue about the glendale galleria target is coupons. There are sales at target. And I use coupons because I know how to save. And before using coupons I make sure that there is nothing about double couponing or can't use a coupon on top of a sale. So for a good example my brother and I tried to buy 2 games get one free for the ps4, and that was the stores sale already. And my brother also had like a percent off coupon of I forgot how much. And the manager was so rude and said we couldn't use it and it was written on fine print. So my brother said to show him. And she looked at the coupon itself and on the games we wanted to buy and she even checked the advertisement but she couldn't find it. So she said "well were not suppose to anyways. Your even lucky I'm giving you a free game" and my brother responded "your giving us a free game? No target is not you." So we left. I told my brother I bet you all these games you wanted that eagle rock target will give you that discount. So we headed there quick before the games were sold and when we got there. They still had the game and the store sale and on top we got to use the coupon discount he had. I recommend couponing and returning at the eagle rock mall. As for this target it's all right. I like Target, and normally go to the Burbank store which is all on one floor. This Target in the Galleria is on 3 floors which is fine you get to use that escalator thing for your cart, and you know that's not even an issue, just an observation. Now, I've stopped into this store twice in the past two months and have had good service from floor staff, good not great. And really horrible service from the cashiers. Now, here is something that I think is vital for customer service, one, don't mumble with your head down, I as the customer am unloading a cart full of stuff, three floors worth of stuff, my cart is overflowing, so speak up & look up before mumbling 'you wanna bag', really you're asking if I want a bag? I need a butler to take this stuff I didn't intend to buy to take it out to my car that is way past where your cart will go. The other issue with my experience yesterday was I was buying an item that was advertised as $69.95, the shelves even had that price all over them & a huge banner hung above the items saying the same price. So when the mumbler rang it up as $99.99, I advised her the price was incorrect, she told me the register said it was $99.99, sure because a cash register is never wrong, right? So, I repeated myself & advised of the sale, her response was 'um it's not my job I don't know what to do'. I suggested she remove it from my bill I'd go elsewhere for the product. Don't let the fact that it's spread out over three floors fool you, this is still the same ol' target with roughly the same amount of selection. The only difference is you'll be going up and down on escalators. Which is interesting to see your cart go up and down on those Which isn't a bad thing. The levels are separated by department, so you can just go to where you want to and not have to go through whole sections. They have a pretty impressive food section. So big that there's plenty of freezers as well as a booze selection that you shouldn't wag your finger at. Since this is attached to the mall you get a lot of crowds here. Not only that but the parking can be a little bit of a hassle. Then again, have you've been to a typical target parking lot? It's like this all of the time. But I have to say, even with it being three floors, it doesn't really take advantage of it by giving you more in the departments like electronics and the mens clothing is pretty much small as hell. read more

Split review to be honest... The cashier is fast and the service is great accept when that's comes to return/pick up online order line terrible. I went there today to print out picture and went in to buy some stuff and then came out again to pick up the picture. There was two line and I waited in one off them then she told me that I was on the wrong line and In my head was f*ck she didn't accept or wanted to help she wanted me to go to the other line and wait. Don't really care for this target, its too big and i feel lost everytime i come in. But the real killer is to checkout, there is ALWAYS long lines to checkout and they only have one or two cashiers working because they rely on you to go use the self checkout. I do not like to use self checkout because i feel like that is taking someones job away they will hire less and less people and replace them with machine's! But this is something i believe most targets are doing. But this store really needs to get their act together and check people out faster. read more

I'm a regular at several target's in the valley. Let me tell you why to go here instead of any other target. 1. Friendly cashiers. Its 9 o'clock at night, everybody just wants to head home, and Naginder, our cashier, didn't give us grief for using coupons.in fact he found a better way of using them. Thanks Naginder 2. The managers at other targets don't seem to understand that when you have a clearance item, you want to get rid of it as fast as you can. The product had a chance to make the full amount of gross profit when it was a regular product on the shelf. Why would you not clearance it out at the maximum amount? This store has no illusions of where the profit comes from, and clearances out items at a higher percentage to get rid of dead stock. Good job. 3. I was at this location last week (best target in LA btw massive) and I left my favorite Jean jacket on a hanger unknowingly which has several important personal items in the pockets that I needed. I returned the next day and they couldn't seem to find it in the lost and found but thank GOD Nicole was soooo helpful she went back and looked for a while and came back with news that they'd seen it earlier but couldn't locate it at that time and to check back again later. Nicole gave me all the info I needed to contact them. Since I live in Burbank, I primarily go to the Burbank Target. However, when I'm going to the mall, I tend walk in just to walk through as I window shop. They tend to always be out of stock on things or not have my sizes. I guess it's because it is a high-volume store. Anyways, because of this the store is always messy and sometimes the employees are in a "dgaf" mood. This Target location is huge, clean and well organized. It can get a little busy, but it's attached to a mall so I would expect that. I would rate the store alone with 4 stars. Unfortunately, the store has to have employees and these employees suck. I visit this store frequently because of the location, I can't think of a single time when an employee stood out to me as being memorably friendly or helpful. My first encounter with customer service was to return a hair trimmer. For some reason the trimmer was painful to use... manufacturer defect I assume. I returned with my receipt, but was denied my return because the trimmer had been used. With no desire to use a trimmed that pinches my skin, the clerk threw the item in the garbage for me and kept my money. I attempted to return a shirt my daughter received for her birthday today. I was told that I had already received my $70 no receipt return limit. Why is this the first time I am hearing of this?? I have returned one toy ($50) and a couple toddler outfits. That's all it took to reach my limit. I usually purchase a replacement when returning an item that was bought for my daughter. I may have chosen to do a direct exchange if I had known that there was a limit on returns... I didn't know that it mattered. Most of the employees at this target look miserable and would rather ignore you than give a smile. Located inside Glendale Galleria or rather attached to... They have their "own" parking area but it's jam packed like the rest of the mall. It's filthy, disorganized, and under staffed. There's ALWAYS a line at the checkout and not all of the registers are open even with customers waiting in line for 10+ minutes. Most of the folks who work here are not friendly and are not well informed of their work place. I stay away from this target like the plague and only visit if none of the other targets (in close proximity) have the item I need in stock.. read more

There has been a few times where the items I purchased didn't match the price on the tag. It clearly is marked $11 but when I go to the register, the price is more. I've shown this to them (including customer service) and they haven't done anything about the price discrepancy. Also, when I tell them about it, they tell me that only customer service can give me a refund so I have to go to that line and wait another 20-30 minutes! These cashiers only know one thing - to tell you to go to customer service. Well, have they never been trained in customer service as well?? Beyond frustrating! I realize that Target is not the place to go if you're hoping for great service however this particular Target is worse that you would expect even for a big discount store. I purchased something from Target online and was told that I could return it to any store however when I went to this particular Target I was told that they wouldn't accept it because I didn't have a receipt. Additionally they told me on the telephone that the product was available in the store however when I went there not only would they not refund me but they couldn't even exchange it because they actually did not have it in stock. It's really very frustrating to call any type of store with a question, hold until someone takes your call and then puts you on hold again when you ask a question, then have the store employee come back on with an answer that's the opposite of correct. Why would a store employee put me on hold to check if an item is in stock, then come back on the telephone and tell me that it is indeed in stock when it actually isn't. I mean it isn't as though I asked him the meaning of life. How hard is it to do something that simple correctly? This place completely wasted my time and made very little effort to resolve the issue. It's clear that they're way more concerned with volume than they are with providing good service. The people you have to deal with really just aren't the brightest folks in the world and that's stating it mildly. The parking at this place is a real mess too. I understand that you can't go in to a discount store and expect to be treated like you're shopping on Rodeo Drive but there should be at least a minimun level of service at any store. If you're determined to buy something from Target I would recommend that you go to one of the other ones in the area. read more

Being inside the Glendale Galleria has it's pains. Mall parking and weekend crowds come to mind. But if I'm here, it's not because of this particular Target, but because I want to come to the mall itself, or even for the Americana. Three Story Target - not that hard to understand. 1st Floor - All clothing, shoes, and baby products 2nd Floor - Essential Floor - Health and Beauty, Stationary, Market 3rd Floor - Fun Floor - Toys, Electronics, Home Decor, Domestics, etc. Carts conveyors are made for convenience - just don't put your cart on the escalators meant for humans.. because that's just plan dumb. Plus, this target's return policy is like every other. Get your receipt when you buy something, and if you bought it with a card, they have receipt look up.... wow, hows that for customer service? I have been going to target for a while now and it is a good store that carries a lot of what I need. That being said I have to say some of the negatives. This is one of the messiest stores that I have been to. Clothes are on the wrong hangers, clothes are on the ground, and in the grocery department you can find the same foods in about 3 different locations because food is not put back in the right place and no one who works there will take the literal seconds that it takes to put the food back in the correct location. read more

It's convenient since it's located at the Galleria and so I can do all my shopping under one roof. The check out lines can be ridiculously long but they often open up another register when they see that the line is getting out of hand. This Target location is fine in comparison to other targets. There are always plenty of employees to point you in the right direction. The escalators always seem to be working. The shelves and displays are well kept for the most part and every time I've been in a line that was long, help came soon after. It's Target, you know what to expect. I've not had a bad experience at this one. I do enjoy the fact that this one is connected to the mall cause it's really a one stop shop kind of deal as long as you don't mind walking. Biggest Target ever. Wowzers. this location is 3 stories. It seems like they have so much space they don't know what to do with it. I saw a whole row dedicated to like 150 kiddie seasonal plastic bat/balls = great product selection.
