I have been a loyal customer to Target for over 23 years now and have always enjoyed shopping here. But after my experience tonight in the checkout line, I cannot even find the words. The cashier asked me out loud in front of multiple customers that were in line behind me, and stated " What's with the mask? COVID is over you know". I have never been so humiliated in my life. Not only do I have a rare blood disorder, I was also born with Primary Immune Deficiency. Yes I have to wear a mask when I go into crowded areas especially when my white blood count is low. This was degrading and demoralizing and it made me feel embarrassed. I don't think I will ever be able to set foot in this store again. I am already self conscious about wearing a mask and most certainly don't need to be publicly humiliated or reminded of it.You should speak to this employee. Not only is this unprofessional, it is rude and inconsiderate. I just hope that this does not happen to another customer. read more

Awesome Target!! Always organized and clean, great selection, and lines at checkout move fast!

This company is the worse I placed an order for a wireless keyboard and mouse and a webcam. IT says fed ex delivered it, I went down to my porch immediately after I got the notifications from fed ex and no delivery, I call for a refund and I'm getting the runaround, I put a claim in through fed ex and they have come to the conclusion they have delivered it, I asked for proof I get a slip that just days Haverhill, MA not even my address, ni picture, no signature nothing!!! I have repurchased the item and now I'm out this money , with no resolution from target!! Thanks Target, you have just lost a customer. read more

This specific store is atrocious! Never any carriages available, nothing is in stock and the aisles along with the shelves, are a disaster. I won't pick on certain departments or job titles that need to clean this up but something needs to be done. I was in the store the other day and I heard two separate customers make comments about how they hate coming to this Target because it's disgusting. You would think that being the eighth department store retailer in the United States that there would be some pride in ownership shown. Embarrassing! read more

Teenage girls are making decisions at this store. I won't be back. I had a damaged item I was willing to pay for at 20% off and this little girl told me all they could do is 10%. If anyone wants a scratched mirror, 30 inches round go to the store and be prepared to pay either full price or 10% off. read more

Being a loyal customer of Target of Haverhill for years, I must write to express my great disappointment in the company's decision to install many self check out registers. This is a bad idea for several reasons: 1. Target is taking away jobs from people that need them! 2. It's a highly impersonal customer experience. Customers want to deal with real people who smile and say THANK YOU, and HAVE A NICE DAY! 3. The machines are confusing and people don't have time to stand there, wasting their time to figure out how to use them, especially the elderly who are not accustomed to new technology! I went there this morning and there were ZERO sales clerks at the registers and nothing but self check out machines open to service customers. I saw three clerks around the front, one of which was kind enough to ring out my sale for me.....because it was too confusing! I refuse to go to any self check-outs. Get back to using real, live, breathing humans to service your customers. If you want to keep taking people's money.... at least give them back some gratitude and courtesy. And most of all, before you go the way of KMart and Sears, stop trying to bamboozle customers into thinking you're doing them a big favor with self check outs, when it's clear you're trying to put more money in your pockets by hiring less people! read more

This Target has really gone downhill. They have fewer size selection than they did when they opened, and it wasn't great then. They have one or maybe two real lines open now that they have self checkout. Self checkout doesn't take cash, and they frequently have more associates working self checkout than the lines. Only one line was open today, and self checkout was clogged. Also, I had a rude associate at customer service when I returned an ill fitting item. She took a phone call after the person in front of me had a turn. I had the wrong receipt with me and was subsequently cheated out of five dollars due to this item allegedly being on sale at some point. read more

If I could give this store ZERO stars I would. What a horrible store. Checkout is impossible. Two lines open - no express line - and the two cashiers must have been competing to see who could be slower. Cashier looked at the ten-dollar bill like it was something he had never seen before. He said, "A hundred?" NO! A ten! I could have taken a nap during the time it took for him to calculate and take $6.20 change from the cash drawer. Not to mention the abandoned snack bar. I love Target. They always have the greatest products. However, as other yelpers have indicated, whoever is the store manager needs to be fired. I don't know if it's a staffing issue or an overstock issue but it is not acceptable to have pallets upon pallets of stock just sitting out unattended blocking aisles. I shop there almost daily, and I continue to see this...daily. It's frustrating because I was really pumped for the Necca/Funko section, which seems to always be blocked with pallets District managers...please fix this. If I had time to come in there and start working on pallets myself, I would. This is my target which I am literally 2 minutes away from. FIX THIS!!! read more

My stars are all for the juniors'/women's clothing department at this location. So far nobody seems to have discovered it, and so it's never as picked over as its Salem and Danvers counterparts. For those of us who strive to be both stylish and thrifty, this is rad news. The other night I totally scored on the 75% off racks- two jackets and a pair of cute flats for only $13! The flats alone had disappeared from the other stores long ago. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of big box stores popping up all over, either, but I like how the Haverhill store is a little more tucked away than other Targets. read more

I just waited in line while the cashier Gina held court with all the patrons about her stockbroker husband paying $119,000 dollars in taxes last year, cause in Massachusetts "the more you make, the more you get taxed!" Frankly, I found her chirping about politics and about how much her and her husband making, to be offensive. Most people will never sniff making $119k in a year, no less paying that much in taxes. If she and her husband had to pay it, it means they make plenty of money and myself and Target customers don't want to hear about her personal life and how much money poor Gina makes. Let me guess Gina, you are bored being at home so you took a cashier job to pass the time? I have been coming to this Target for 8 years and come in at least 2 times a week to shop. Alas, I will be travelling to Walmart at the Loop. People there are rude and don't say please and thank you, but at least I won't have too listen to any poor rich girl sob stories. This is my favorite Target store. This Target has a nice selection of grocery items. Plus, I usually never have to wait in line. The store is kept very clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very easy to return idems that your not happy with. read more

The store is clean, but the register area is turning into Walmart. There is 1 cashier, and the line is in the main isle. The girl who works customer service during the day has an attitude. I exchanged and item and had two other things in the carriage to buy. Instead of ringing in the other two things with my exchange, I had to leave and go into another line to buy the items. read more

Ugh I hate Target in general, but this location isn't horrible I guess. They do have the great selection that you would want to return for but really, I don't want to return. I am giving it a 3 because its classier than wal mahhhts, but it is indeed a little more expensive. Whatev! Not a bad place, but not the first place I wannnaaaa beeee. read more

The Target Pharmacy is great!! I have been going here almost since it has opened and have no complaints at all. The lead pharmacist is kind and looks out for his customers. he has notified my doctors on my behalf for refills, informed me about overpriced medications and worked with my doctors to get the less expensive ones, once, the Target phone was down and he used his cell to contact me about a medication. Overall, this pharmacy does not feel like a big brand Pharmacy when I go, they take the time to work with each customer at a more personal level... Oh and they have a rewards program that gives you 5% off shopping at the store too! read more

It's Target how do you not love this place. I love it, my daughter loves it....it's awesome!!! They have the cartwheel app so you can get a lot of additional discounts on top of already great prices. My only problem is that when I go I buy way more than I ever intended in buying. That is more of a problem with me than the store though. In case you didn't know I LOVE TARGET!!!! read more

Big beautiful, clean store with lots of workers on the floor. However, never more than one or two registers open at any given time. Only after waiting in a long line for more than 5 or 10 minutes does another cashier come to the rescue. This happens almost every time I have shopped at various times of the day. There never seems to be a shortage of workers outside smoking, but none can be found at the checkouts. Will have to say the pharmacy is great and never have to wait there. Much better than CVS. read more

Everything was clean and organized, soooo much better than the Plaistow Wal-mart, I feel dirty when I leave that place. I went in the other day not really looking for anything in particular and the sales people there bring a great balance of asking if you need any help if you're in an aisle just kinda looking all around, and not hassling you unnecessarily like some stores. All in all nice store and great staff.... and that security guard with the tattoos is pretty cute haha! added bonus :) read more
