One of the worst Targets I've ever been to. I needed assistance finding an item and an employee who had incredibly long hair and a digustingly long beard refused to help me. He clearly didn't care and basically acted like it wasn't even his job to help me. I'll drive out of my way to go out to Tinley Park to go to that Target. read more

I was in a rush and ordered items from a registry online for instore pick up while I ran more errands. They said it should be ready in 2 hours but I received my pickup message in about 30 min. I ran in to grab a gift bag. The store was very clean and organized. I went to service to claim my order and was taken care of immediately. The only thing was the lady taking care of me took her time. She walked very slow to grab my bags and slow bringing them back to the counter. Other than that, all was well. I also saw that no gift receipt comes with online orders even though it came from a registry. read more

What a pleasant surprise this morning! We had to run and get a couple things we forgot to bring on the plane. I expected a regular department store experience but much to my wonder it felt like shopping in a high end shop. We had several people greet us throughout the store. Everyone had a smile on their face. We stopped at the Starbucks in store and those ladies were fabulous too. What an awesome experience! read more

Bad service manager on duty Thursday April 16, at 10 am was beyond rude. I made a mistake and had a order pick up sent to a wrong location, manager on duty was on her phone while I was there asking her for help and still had the audacity to give me bad attitude and didn't try to accommodate me as the customer. I'm a target shopper and never had a bad experience at any location but this one is just bad save your money and take it to another location. This one looks dirty and the employees don't even care to accommodate the customer. read more

I just wasted a 1/2 an hour of my life in Target. I ran in there and picked up the 3 items that I needed within 5 minutes. I stood in line at 1 of the only 2 registers open out of 14 registers. Only one cashier y was 21 and older, so she had to keep leaving her register to ring up for another cashier. No management walked around , no supervisor no lead cashier or head cashier. It's like the store was running on its own. Great items great products ample things to buy, however the line alone was enough to make me put 2 stars. Someone's being cheap and not hiring enough cashiers. This just makes me wanna shop someplace else, So alternately they will lose money. People were disgusted read more

This target needs help. Items not stocked on shelves. Never enough cashiers. I wish you guys would do it right. The Tinley park location is sooo much better. But I want to shop with you. Cashiers are night and day. Some are nice. Some will ring and won't even look at you. Then to top it off ALL the doors for men's bathroom don't lock. Please fix yourselfs. They might as well just close this location since they are never properly stocked. Their app will say your items are available for pickup and they are never there. Employees are mostly apathetic at best, with one or two notable exceptions. Not even worth the wasted trip anymore. read more

Everytime I come in here the associates are always friendly and very helpful. I came here to buy christmas gifts for the kids because last year they had a whole isle of 5, 10, 15 and 20 dollar items that were made for Target. It was perfect. And I figured with the economy the way it is, they would expand on that concept. Ahh, nope! I was looking up and down and finally came to this section that was cut down to 1/4 of an isle. What the hell. It was perfect because everything was categorized by price. I spent about an hour going up and down each isle to find what I needed. If it ain't broke! read more

The absolute WORST Target......Junkier than the crappiest Thrift Store I've been to. Carts & flatbeds with merchandise piled up & blocking almost every aisle, shelves that are totally empty or have merchandise in the wrong spot, outdated dairy product in the grocery, totally disinterested employees standing around talking to each other who look like dead-eyed Zombies......the register operator did not say one word to me and leaned on the register the entire time he rang up my order. I can't believe Target is OK with how this store represents the Corporation & the Manager should be fired. read more

In a community filled with rich schools and large family homes you'd expect them to at least have a maternity section. You won't find anything for maternity here. 2 pant choices, fitting rooms r closed due to covid. No bra band extenders. A few basic shirts. The maternity section is literally one small rack. One tiny square shaped rack. I came here to get a baby welcome bag for making my registry. They were out and said they would restock. I asked if I could have it shipped to my house knowing already that they can't, but i wanted to try anyways. They said they can't but would restock. I call 2 weeks later and the lady on the phone tells me they don't plan to restock and to call targets customer service to have one shipped. Target doesn't ship baby welcome bags. So now I have to find a DIFFERENT target to go to just to get maternity clothes and my welcome bag. The next target over is a 17 min drive and I don't even know if they will have anything. read more

Huge fan of target. Also, love homewood but store is messy. Shoes all over the aisles, sometimes there are expired food on the shelves. If you buy baby wipes make sure they aren't opened and someone hasn't used it. read more

I went to this location based on previous experiences. This one was awful. Thanksgiving and sales should have been a wonderful time. Well I got everything except one item. A vacuum cleaner that was on sale for $84.99 in store and advertised online. I found this item along with several others exactly like it with the sale sign in front of it. Went to checkout and it rang up for $219.99. I immediately let the cashier know and she called for assistance. Sharonda ( front end manager) came to the register and immediately said " we not changing prices". I explained to her the issue and she said she would have somebody go check the price. I went back to the area and took a picture as well as another associate. We went back to the register and they attempted to tell me that it was the wrong vacuum. I explained how that was not my fault nor was it my issue. I just wanted the on sale item. I then asked for the store manager. I was told another associate was goin to get the "correct" vacuum. I asked Sharonda for a sale ad so i could show her as well as the cashier what was on sale. The other associate came back with a different cleaner and i told him that wasnt correct. He says to me " well thats whats on sale". I show him the ad and tell him thats not what i want. I asked another cashier at a different register to call for the store manager again. At this point 30 minutes at the register have passed. I had already stood outside for 2 hours prior to opening and had been in the store for another. So i ask for a raincheck. Sharonda says "its a black friday item so we not giving out rain checks either". I again ask for the store manager. She came out of the front office and spoke with Sharonda only while they both looked at me whispering. Sharonda comes back to the register and asks " what are u looking for? Are u looking to get a price adjustment cuz we not changing prices today. We dont have the one you looking for." She shrugs her shoulder and walks away without a care. At that point i asked the cashier for the phone number to the corporate office. I was told to get it from customer service. By now i'm aggravated and just want to leave the store.. I make my purchase and take my items to my vehicle. I went back in store to customer service. I ask the young lady there for the number for corporate, the front end managers name as well as the store managers name. She says " no problem" and hands me a post it. I questioned the front end managers name because the note said Francisco. There was no one named Francisco that i spoke to during this entire ordeal. She tells me " oh there are 3 front end supervisors". I said " thats fine but i need her ( points to Sharonda) info as thats who i dealt with. The stores manager Sheila, according to the post it, NEVER came to help nor see what the issue was. There was never an attempt to correct the situation or make it right. She walked past me several times and didn't acknowledge me at all. So after all the wonderful times in store this will be my last visit to this location. They weren't pleasant and neither was this experience. Every word exchange was relayed with the feeling of " oh well". The cashier tried her best to rectify it but she couldn't make any adjustments as she was only a seasonal worker according to her. My money will spend just fine elsewhere. And i'm still calling the corporate office. read more

By far the worst Target I've ever been in. The store is always a mess. There isn't even the most meager attempt to keep the shelves stocked and 90% of the time the advertised sales products, including those in their own Cartwheel AP, are not available. I am absolutely done with this store. It's just a waste of my time even going in. One would think that with the opening of a new Walmart superstore right across the street that Target would have stepped up its game to compete. NOT! Thank goodness there is a Target superstore not very far away in Tinley Park at I80 and Harlem Avenue. Guess where I'll be going from now on? What a shame. They have lost a once loyal customer for the Homewood location. Don't know what's happen that this store has taken such a negative turn. I think the profitability of this location will suffer. read more

I have been to this Target a couple of times and I have to say it's the worse one I've ever been to, and trust me my love for Target has brought me to many. Their Customer Service is bad, all the employees seem to be teenagers and are extremely rude. The last time I was there I actually had to wait for the guy at the register to finish his conversation with another employee before he walked over and checked me out! read more

This is the worst target location I have ever shopped. I have only been in there a handful of times but each visit was worse then the last. The store is very sloppy; the people, the products, everything. I made the mistake of asking for a manager one time and encountered the rudest and most ignorant person I have ever seen working in retail. I will try not to return to this target location so I don't have my day ruined. read more

My elderly mother recently had a bad experience there. She informed me that an employee named Barrett was extremely rude. When she asked for a manager she was told "he was the manager". I'm not sure how you handle these sort of situations but it was a very unpleasant experience. read more
