So if ya haven't heard of target con and all its problems for this year well I'm here to tell you about it . What is Target con basically a bunch of exclusive funko pops drop at target and only you can get em at target . Now it definitely isn't easy to get these exclusives this year because for example some targets get in stock and when they get in stock they don't know when the shipments of these pops will show up and that what makes people mad when these pops WERE supposed to be in stores February 22nd . Plus ordering online ain't any easier either you can order some of the exclusives and then for some of these exclusives they won't be online or in stores . Overall Target or the vendor that hands them these pops or even Funko has screwed over alot of people and people are pissed . read more

This Target is a bit of an oddball. As a Montrose resident, it's great to have a Target close by for everyday needs. They've squeezed a lot in this store. However, this is the only "mini" Target in the city, so if you're looking for home accessories or extensive seasonal selection, you'll need to get to the San Felipe location. Employees are reasonably friendly, but the parking lot can be a mess to navigate, and the store seems to have permanently closed the self-checkouts near the Starbucks, adding a lot of steps to a one or two-item grocery pickup. They've also lost the CVS they once had inside, too. Appreciate having this store in the neighbohood, but wish it could be easier to love. read more

This is our go-to Target when we're running errands and it's convenient if we need to make an impromptu trip as well. It shares a large plaza with a variety of businesses and, on most days, there isn't an issue finding a spot or getting in/out of the plaza onto Westheimer or Sheperd. Things can get backed up if there's someone waiting for a parking spot, though. Exercise some patience and you'll be fine. The layout of the store is a bit odd for me because the stores I visited in Ohio typically had the Starbucks and restrooms along the right side of the entrance, but it's flipped for this location. The store is usually tidy and has a decent selection of personal care items including a nicer men's grooming area than I've seen at some other locations, cleaning products, and electronics, but there are times when certain items are low in stock. I guess there's just a lot of a foot traffic given its central location in the city. On the flip side, the groceries/food section is fairly small when compared to more suburban locations. In terms of service, their employees have been friendly and helpful each time we check out. Overall, no major complaints from our visits so far. read more

Not my kind of Target store for sure. I came to Shepherd Square because it's on the way from The Heights to Micro Center formed with an L-shaped route. According to Google Maps, it used to be a Randall's grocery store not too long ago. The mall is kind of neat with many Asian restaurants but the store is kind of out of place with illogical layout. Talking about small footprint, they should not stock too many stuffs. They had unrelated items next to each other. I was so confused. It gave me a headache. So, I left. read more

This is an odd Target; it has a lot while also not having much at the same time. I find the store layout not intuitive and the selection minimal (minus the grocery/toiletries sections). So, more like a great grocer with some added Target stuff vs the other way around. Parking can be tough because of the popular shopping center, and good luck exiting the parking lot if you need t turn left. read more

I was on the phone with my sister walking, around looking, at things to buy, as one does in Target, and a store member kept following me. The layout sucks so yes, I was lost and I was on the phone so I was a bit distracted but every corner I turned, there he was too. I didn't notice (I kept seeing him but thought it was just a coincidence) until he stood directly in front of me and asked if I needed help. I said no and he still followed me. Went here for yarn but they don't carry any. Parking is tough here. Or on a Saturday it was. And getting out was tough too making a left onto any of the roads. I don't like that their app makes you manually add offers on there. It should just be automatic instead. Halloween candy is out and it ain't cheap. I agree with another review that the space is compact, but they do try to make the best out of it. That being said, limited selection for each type of item, but it's there! The staff is very nice. We stopped by to pick up some c6 Christmas lights and they only had blue colored ones in stock. I will probably go to my original store on Shearn St. (which is farther from my house) when I want to casually browse and then the Shepard St. location for simple errands. read more

First time coming in here since it was a Randall's Supermarket. It was interesting to see how they'd make it work. Here are my thoughts: Pros: Convenient location for the area. Staff are all very nice. I cannot emphasize this enough. Probably the nicest staff of any Target store ever. Not kidding. Jeny at Starbucks was great! Fast and made a great iced latte. Very friendly as well. Store is clean and easy to navigate. Now for the cons: Limited selection. This store isn't as large as other Targets, so don't expect to find exactly what you're looking for. The menswear section is small to non-existent. Electronics is on the smaller size. The grocery is small as well. Home decor is also quite small. Women's wear is very substantial, making up a large portion of the central floor space. Hygiene products and beauty also are pretty sizeable. Overall, I'd say this location is convenient for odds and ends and women's clothing. But, if you're not looking for that and want something more specific, I'd check the Target app and go to another location. They did a good job with what space they had, but for my personal needs, it just didn't fit the bill. read more

Today was my first time visiting this location to pick up an order. I didn't get a chance to look around, but everything seems clean. The space is compact but it looks like they made the most of it. Every staff person I encountered, from the greeter to the customer service person, to the Starbucks barista, were super friendly! Don't let the management team fool you. They are perfectly fine with selling products previously used, returned, sealed and back on the sales floor. Purchased a $60 men's trimming tool that was sealed and once home discovered it was matted in hair in every groove and attachment in box. The email from Yesenia below was clearly an automated response that delivered NOTHING! She ignored every response moving forward and the store REFUSED a refund! Belinda at Starbucks was extremely rude. I came today, Nov 25th 2020 at 1:45pm, and she had awful customer service. I work at a Starbucks Target myself and I am visiting family from out of town and the way she talked to me and refused to make my drink, although regular stand alone Starbucks as well as other Target Starbucks, make the drink easily. This is a bad look for a new Target and a new Target Starbucks. She also was giving me dirty looks when I walked up like she didn't want to serve me. Thanks but no thanks. read more

I was waiting in line but the customer in front of me forgot their card in their car so the cashier told me I could go to the other lane and get assistance since I had waited, he apologized for the inconvenience sincerely so I went to the next lane where I was directed to. That is when I encountered Hugh. As soon as I walked up to his lane he said "oh no, I'm closed, I gotta go home too." Then I was like ??? So the original cashier came and grabbed us and helped us instead. I would give 5 stars to Marvin my original and very helpful cashier but due to the extremely disrespectful nature of Hugh I must give this a one star rating since I can't do a zero. read more

When this new Target opened, I thought it was great! Not far. I typically go to the Main Street location....love that location. One day last week I did a quick stop at this new location to grab a few items for me, my sister and nephew. Well I pay attention to the items I normally buy and prices. Well I noticed that many items in this new target are marked up. The prices are not the same across the board. I asked a sales associate, mind you he didn't know and I won't fault him for that. But I was very surprised. I went around the whole store scanning the barcode through the target app. My home store is set for the Main Street location and the price differences for the same items were incredible. So at that point I was just comparing prices. Needless to say I left and went to the Main Street location. Don't get me wrong, all the sales associates were so nice and helpful. They were great. It's just the inconsistencies on the pricing on items that are at all locations. Not cool, because that is deceiving the general public. read more

Went to the "soft opening" before October 25. It is a smaller store, with a little bit less merchandise than their super stores, but lovely to have in the neighborhood. It was clean and bright, and the employees were courteous and friendly. It has some produce and refrigerated groceries in a compact grocery section. They made social distancing very easy. I LOVE Target, but this wasn't the best experience. This was my first and last time at this location. I usually do self checkout because of my kids and COVID, this time wasn't any different. I went to the self checkout and started ringing up my items. One of the cashiers asked if I wanted to go to the regular check out and I said politely "No, I am fine thank you." She stood behind me the whole time looking at me ringing up my items, she told me not once, but twice to not forget the items under my cart. I proceeded to say"yes, I know." I was trying to deal with my kids and I felt pressured by the cashier, it made me feel very uncomfortable. I understand that it's part of her job, but she needs to be more subtle about it. I don't know if she thought I was going to steal something or if she was just trying to make me feel welcomed since it's a new store, but it didn't feel very welcoming. I then decided to use my rewards in my app, I left and once I got in my car I realized that the rewards weren't on my actual receipt and they were no longer in my app. I decided to go back to customer service, the partner there tried to be as understanding and helpful as she could and said she was going to call the manager and he could help me more. Once the manager got there she explained what the issue was and he said that he knew about the issue because it had been happening recently. He asked how much was on my rewards and I said I honestly can't remember, but it was like $24. He then looked at the register and said"uh oh, we are giving you a $20 gift card since we can't verify that." I then chuckled and told him about my experience at the self checkout, and that it was my first and last time at that location, he kept quiet and kept working. After he was done with the transaction he handed me the gift card and said"I apologize about that." I then grabbed the gift card and told him I didn't appreciate the treatment I had gotten from him or the cashier. As a manager the first thing he should had done after he heard a guest's complaint was to apologize and not just ignore them completely. read more
