I shop at this store usually every weekend to pick up some last minute items before my work week starts, but it's usually a hit or miss with some items. I was in the makeup aisle and as usual they never have my eyebrow pencil in the color I need, so the young girl working there Vanessa came over to see if she could help. I agree with the previous posts that some employees are there just because while others are very helpful and I would like to compliment Vanessa who not only took the time to me and ask me if I needed help, she found the eyebrow pencil and brought it up to me while I was checking out! A very clean store. Glad they added the grocery section, you can find some great deals on some things. Others are really expensive. Only gripe is the lack of checkout help. This is "My" target as my girls would say. We are always here for everything and nothing at all but starbucks and a walk around the toy section. I went this morning with my WIC coupons they had no registers open only self check out. The lady that helps guide customers to registers or self check out is just plain Rude. No customer service or friendliness. She's always there in the mornings and I feel like she treats us customers like cattle yelling out where to pay. I asked her since there was no register open where would I go? She stared and said You can walk to customer service. When I asked her again of they took WIC she walked away. This isn't the 1st time she's not friendly. (She has real short hair glasses a bit on the heavier side and a loud voice) How are they not going to have cashiers?? I shop at this Target ALOT and I keep having the same opinion on one particular cashier. She's a mature woman who looks like a sweet old lady...but she's rude! Not nice at all and makes me feel as if I've inconvenienced her day!! When I have my kids with me...they are super polite and say hello,thank you, have a good day and she just ignored them and starts ringing up the next guest before I can even grab my bags. Also, I would rather check out at electronics to avoid this lady....The management is nice,Starbucks is nice, pharmacy is nice, electronics...just hope Chris is working...very knowledgable and helpful! This is the only store nearby so it is in a super convenient location. However, sometimes it is hard to find things in stock since it is the only store in the area. And sometimes things are out of stock for a while. It is much cleaner than the Targets in Manteca and Tracy though. read more

I'm really disappointed in this store. Food court is always lack of staff or not enough pop corn or etc. Maybe pay more $$$$ to keeps good employee. This has Been going on for almost a year. Hire older person young ones don't seem to give a care. If they miss work ! read more

AMAZING Pharmacy! I guess now its owned by CVS pharmacy, but the staff is such an amazing group of gals. I absolutely love Amy and Han( the pharmacists) . They are always so friendly and always willing to go the extra mile in order to help their patients. I used to go to the Manteca Target for my prescriptions, however it was not such a pleasant experience due to the extremely rude staff that works there, especially the lady pharmacist. The best target I've ever been too. Staff are friendly, store is clean, fully stocked, and best for all you gotta love their carts!!! Love this target, although I wish they were more cashiers, they have a very attentive staff. I come so often I have a favorite in almost every department. Chris in electronics is my go to guy especially since I'm a hardcore gamer. Mary Jane is my favorite barista, she makes the best latte around town. And Christian is great at helping me with my groceries in the vegetable section. All in all I love coming here. read more

I like this store a lot. They have great prices on the things I purchase there. Fun place to go shopping at. They give me an extra 5% off every purchase with their credit or debit card. If you get their debit card, they connect it to your checking account and there is never a bill to pay. read more

I used to love this store. I'd shop here every paycheck. The clearance sections are awesome. The 2 stars are because of one incident that I had with this store. I went shopping here a couple weeks back in the evening time. When I was done shopping I got an invite to go somewhere and since I was already right off the freeway, my friend picked me up from the store so I left my car in the parking lot with my purchases in my car. I came back to my car approximately 30 min after the store closed to get my car. To my astonishment it was getting towed away along with about 5 other vehicles from the parking lot. I followed the tow truck to Tracy to All Star Towing where my car was taken. They told me Target security called to have it towed and it would be $380. I asked why and they said no overnight parking. I had not parked it overnight, it was only there a few hours after I had shopped. They said I would have to take it up with Target Management. The following day I went to speak with Target Management. Customer Service called up a "manager" not sure because the young lady had removed her badge. She told me the store has nothing to do with it, it was their security. So I asked for a name and number for their security. She then told me there was nothing she could do, she doesn't know what security company they use and they don't have a phone number and I'd have to go back and talk to All Star towing in Tracy. This blew my mind because I work at a very popular retail store in the office and we have every phone number and name to every single company we deal with. So I go back to All Star to ask them again. They tell me oh you'll have to go back to Target and talk to them. They have the number. I am starting to feel like the towing company has a deal with Target and as a team they are strong arming people into getting their hard earned money. While I was at the towing company, several of the tow drivers and the lady at the desk are telling me how much money they make from towing cars from the Target lot every single day. Which made me feel crappy because here I am a full time college student and employee that receives no government or family financial help and am having to come up with $380 to get my car out of the tow yard. If anyone takes anything from this rant, do not leave your car unattended at this Location. Also while I was at the tow company they said people's cars get stolen from this lot constantly. Anyways, I used to spend a couple hundred dollars at this location monthly. That has come to a stop and they will not be receiving any of my business ever again. read more

This review is directed to the store pharmacist and the clerk who works in the pharmacy. A few years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I under went 42 radiation treatments to cure the cancer. This radiation treatment cured my cancer and saved my life. However this radiation left me impotent (ED). My urologist has tried several ED medication. I took my last prescription from my urologist to the Lathrop pharmacy. When I went to pick up my medication the tall thin Indian pharmacist and the young clerk started to laugh when I picked up the Cialis. The two thought it was funny that I was on an ED medication. The two were totally unprofessional. I am not taking the Cialis for recreational reasons as they must have been thinking. I am taking the Cialis because of the radiation treatment to cure what may have been fatal prostate cancer left me impotent. It is a sad day that who should be a professional pharmacist thinks this is funny. I thank god my cancer was cured I also thank god this pharmacist is not working in an acute hospital where she could do a lot of damage. This pharmacist is both incompetent and uncaring. She not only thought is was funny for me to be on Cialis but has made medication errors with my medication for hypertension. read more

Very bad customer service. I signed up to get their weekly ad because I used to love Target. When I got the ad this Sunday, the Coke products were on sale for 5 for $10.00, so I went to this store to buy some. To my surprise, for some odd reason, their coke products were not 5 for $10, it was signed for 5 for $12, and they didn't want to honor their online ad. Really????Before the cashier even ring up the sale, I showed her the ad on my phone and she said she will make the adjustment so don't worry... but after paying I realized she didn't give me the sale price. I went and talked to the team lead, and wow, she doesn't have a clue...we went on and on arguing about the $2.00 difference. Then a manager showed up, and shockingly she refused to honor the $2.00 difference.... WOW!!!what a customer service. I told her, " it's a shame. It's not about the $2.00 savings, but the principle ." If they advertise it, they should honor it. The whole point of getting the ad sent through e-mail is to see what's on sale. What good is that if they are not going to honor it? Poor business sense. Deceptive advertising. read more

i was so excited when this target was built (kind of sad, i know)... mainly because we live only a few blocks away. now, my kids actually get excited to go there and wander around the toy section... playing with everything in sight. i love it because it's quiet, it's always clean and well stocked, and everyone has been helpful when we are looking for something. we now wait to make our purchases there. read more
