The store looks like it's a newly refaced or a new build out. I'm so used to the big balls at the front of the entrance being red, these are the same colors of the building. Doesn't look like the usual Red target that I'm used to. I stopped by to look for several items for our store. A small space microwave, toaster oven, trivet, oven mitts and pads, utensil caddy, tongs, spatula, 3M hooks for hanging items in the kitchen and break room area on the wall and whatever other items I could think of that might be good for our break. I wanted the Black and Decker microwave, but they had none, so I ended up with the Kenmore instead. Although I wasn't able to find the coffee maker pad, I was looking for or the utensil caddy. I'm hoping I can improvise with other items instead. $260 later. I got just about everything on my buy list. read more

Today I flew in from Tampa to Michigan in extremely cold weather. I was rushing to prepare for a 3:00 PM professional event and realized I had accidentally left my cell phone charger at home. I arrived at Walmart around 2:46 PM, quickly grabbed a phone charger, and stood in line at the electronics register behind another customer. After waiting in line patiently, the cashier waited until it was finally my turn to inform me, "Oh, you can take that up front. He just had something locked." This meant I had to walk all the way to the front of the store again and check out there, which defeated the purpose of waiting in the electronics line. The issue isn't the direction to pay upfront -- it's the lack of proactive communication and customer consideration. If the cashier had simply informed me before I waited, I could have avoided unnecessary delay while already pressed for time. Customer service means being clear, helpful, and considerate. A simple statement like, "you can pay for that up front so you don't have to wait here," would have saved time and shown professionalism and courtesy. I am submitting this because I believe customer service training in awareness and communication would greatly improve customer experience. I wasn't asking for convenience, just basic courtesy. Not sure why the low reviews for this location. I need a new suitcase because Delta broke mine recently and I was in this area today so I stopped by. I found one I really like but it has low reviews on the app. Previously I had ordered two from the Target website but I returned one today because it was larger than it stated on the site. The issue: I did not remember to scan my target cartwheel wallet barcode to apply my earned target rewards, which were expiring soon, to my purchase made less than 10" previously on the same day. We were treated with unfriendly and unprofessional customer service. There were multiple people but they were slow to serve us. Customer service rep was sighing and saying under her breath words indicating our request to apply our earned Target rewards to our purchase was inconvenient even though there was not a line of people waiting. The customer service rep did not like that she had to void the original purchase and re-enter manually each item. She questioned why items which were on sale showed a price change on the receipt. These were items in the food dept which signage clearly stated the items, Chobani yogurt, were on sale and hence the price change on the receipt. We recognize that we need to be sure to scan the Target cartwheel app barcode prior to checkout in order for the earned Target rewards to be applied to the final purchase cost, but we did not appreciate the customer service rep's attitude conveyed that we were an inconvenience to her day because these are some of the responsibilities that are expected with being a customer service team member. read more

Products that have been expired for 2 months still on the shelf Worst target I've been to. Always disappointing. They advertise that you can shop online and pick up in store, but every time I try it says the items are not available at that store. Then I go there, and every item I wanted is there. It seems they don't want people using this service or something. I went into the store again a couple days ago (I would have used the delivery or in store pick up if any items were available). Make sure you check the dates on EVERYTHING, because I got a $9 huge bottle of Kombucha, and when I got home I realized it expired on OCTOBER 31! That's two months ago! I came to this location and purchased storage bins at an amazing price. I decided to use my time off to organize all of my Christmas decor that will soon be packed away. My shopping experience was wonderful, until I hit the check out. The cashier made me feel less than. I tried to type in my number for my Target Circle points and she was adamant that I could only use that from my Target app on my phone. I told her the screen prompted me to type in my mobile number. Again she told me I was wrong. It got to the point where I apologized and said "I'm not trying to be an idiot, but you're making me feel like one." In the end, I was unable to use my Target Circle for points or gain points. The cashier's final comment was, "I'm sure you don't have enough points to use anyway." Pros: this target is much slower compared to other local stores, making parking and aisle browsing easier. It also has a Starbucks and great customer service/management whenever I've had a problem. I use the pharmacy once a quarter and have no problem with wait times. Cons: because it is a slower location, staffing is generally minimal, making check out a longer process. Additionally, if you are looking for a "hot" item, it may not be available at this location- we've had to travel to Brighton or Livonia locations are more than one occasion for an electronic item. read more

This target is absolutely horrible. I placed an online order of 2 small items. We went to pick up the order and it wasnt ready. They refused to get it ready. They told us we couldn't go find the items ourselves to fufull the order. They told us they didnt know how much longer it would be to fufill the order either. Therefore, i will have to drive back out here, which is a 20 minute drive, even though i have 2 small kids and we are currently in a pandemic. Shame on you. My husband and I were just at the Target on Wixom Rd in Michigan. Worst shopping experience of my life. We purchased a book light a few days ago that did not work. The "manager" Lisa was horrible and not helpful at all. We were told to get something to exchange for $19.95 so we did. We got back in line with some lights. Then we were told we have to go find something else in the electronics department. Lisa kept leaving the other employee that was helping us even though the employee needed her manager override. It was a 45 minute experience that ended with us just leaving. Why don't you make exchanges easier? I bought a pair of rain boots yesterday, walked in them around the block for 15 mins and decided they weren't as comfortable as I'd hoped and went to return them today. I was told they were "too worn" to take back. I had my receipt from yesterday with me. I am moving into this area and I have visited this Target quite a few times now. I am really impressed with the size of the store and it's expanded food section. I went to your store in Wixom. The self-service line and one additional line were the only ones open both of those lines were 10 to 12 people deep . Its just messed up! I vent there to buy a carpet cleaner, (250$) and the next day i vent there to return it, because my husband said we will get professional cleaning! So the manager im not sure whats her name, told me that i cant return it because serial number dont mach.... sorry what!?!?! I was like how it it my fault!? I went into this store a few times and every time I go in there I always get the same person to help me. Her name is not important believe if you go into this store and she helps you, you will understand what I mean. she is the worst employee I have ever come across. She was constantly telling me about a personal issue she is having with an ex friend. Well from an experienced customer service manager you do not talk about personal issues on the line when you are taking care of customers. This woman needs to be fired now. I have called the store and spoken to the manager and also I have called corporate as well. They have said this is not the first time that she is so paranoid about this person coming into the store that she has had the police there several times because she thinks she sees this person.
