Their glasses are made by the same people that make glasses from lens crafters so no worries on quality. This location is a little smaller than the one I'm used to in Aventura. I come here every year to get my glasses and I'm never disappointed. This year not only did I do my glasses but I also took my oldest. His optometrist was super sweet and was patient. I came a few days later for my appointment and I got a different optometrist who provides me with recommendations that I have never heard being an option to help with my lazy eye. This place does not accept an entire family to get seen in one day, you have to come in separate days. they over charged me the eye exam and still haven't refunded me after I called and they said they would. the contact fitting price even with insurance is ridiculously expensive they are not willing to make accommodation after years of coming. They say they will contact you when glasses arrive they don't. Even after the 2 weeks glasses still don't arrive. I will never come back. read more

I always have a great experience here. The eye doctor was very efficient and explained everything thoroughly. The eye doctors do change frequently it seems, so I have seen many different people. Scott is great and will spend as much time with you as you need to explain your insurance benefits and order contact lenses and/or glasses. I will continue to return here and recommend to others! Looking for groceries and a few puzzles and games to play. Normally this super target is well stocked , clean and staff is helpful. Today the store looked clean but look like it was going out of business I Was told numerous times it was not . Take a look at my pictures and you will see a clean store but very bare . As a vegan this store did not have all the greens I like to buy. I was lucky to find a beautiful avocado. Parking at this store is easy and they have a Cvs inside the store. read more

Unless you're willing to wait weeks for your glasses with no communication whatsoever from this center; then I suggest you'd go elsewhere. My son had his exam, his measurements, chose his frames and a complete pair was ordered (Paid in full) 15 days later I had to call to check on ETA-turns out the lens came broken and they forgot to call & communicate that to me. Jean, was patient but unfortunately got the wrath for someone else's mistake. Now, another week (estimated) to get my sons glasses. It's not even July yet; so if you want your children's glasses before school starts in August: go somewhere else. Target is not longer reliable even under non busy times. **Target : if you're reading this; I asked Jean to make a note for the supervisor to call me by next Saturday to inform me if the glasses have arrived or not. We normally get our glasses renewed every March. Due to this year's pandemic we had to wait until now. Target optical and the staff were wonderful with us. My son found his favorite pair of glasses right away! Their ray Ban selection was perfect for boys and Janelle was super helpful. We had a great experience and will be back. Oh! The worst place ever . They have my glasses since July 8,now August 13 2020. Everytime I call they say they don't know where my glasses are .My frames are Gucci and they're telling me they don't know where it is . I called 2 weeks ago ,finally Alex told me they sent them to another lab and they will give me my glasses with the prescription In them . Still waiting nothing Update : I had to call them today,they told me they still don't know so Scott called me after 1 hr and told me to go get it. They got new doctors there and this new staff are hands down amazing. Doctor Faten is Really caring and patiently explained everything for me. Very professional and also they are the best and most affordable optical compare to all the other ones in the area ( I done my research on that ). Machine they use for optos are one of the bests and make sure you get your optos done once a year and that ( basically the eye X-ray) is included in their exam price which is awesome and no where else offer that for that price. The people here are kind, for which I give them lots of credit. That being said, the management of the office seems questionable. I ordered a year's supply of contacts and new glasses two weeks before an out of town trip. I had them shipped to the store and was puzzled as to why they weren't picking up the phone, so I drove to the store. There's a sign that they are temporarily closed with directions to contact corporate, who informed me they can't do anything to help with local stores, or to call neighboring stores whom they apparently hadn't told what was going on either. I can see UPS packages, maybe with my contacts and glasses or maybe with someone else's, just sitting outside the closed store where they could easily be scooped up by anyone. There's no indication of when they are re-opening and no way to call them as the voicemail box is full. Drove back to see if any Target employee had any insight. Apparently they closed for a few days due to staff shortages. I don't like to leave a negative review, but I don't understand how you can close unexpectedly for days without having a working voicemail or a sign indicating when you are re-opening knowing people are counting on picking up glasses and contacts from you. It's really not good communication or customer service. Fortunately, they reopened the day before my out of town trip and I was able to pick up my contacts. However, be cautious in relying on them to be open or answering calls if you are running low. Next time I will order from an online retailer to avoid any stress or uncertainty. read more

Dr Edris. is an amazing doctor. She is very compassionate. She found an abnormality that the previous doctors never did. She used a special machine that took a photo which found the abnormality without even dilating theeyes. I will definitely come back and will bring the whole family. Highly recommend read more

My insurance company listed this as the closest eye care provider and boy what a disaster. Dr. Caruso was the provider that saw me. No personality whatsoever but that's not the worst of it. He tries to run a scam stating I received a "premium" contact lens exam and charging me a "premium" fee. I've been wearing contacts for over 20 years and have never had a doctor tell me that. What I did receive was your basic contact lens exam. When I disputed this "premium" charge and called my eye care provider he refused to give me my prescription and told me to remove the contact lens from my eyes right away. I asked why, what are you going to do? Put them in someone else's eye. He was annoyed that I was disputing his "premium" overcharge. He wanted me to go back in and get another exam, if he didn't do the job correctly in the first place why would I go back in. I got so aggravated with the service I left without any contact lens in my eyes since I was forced to remove them and without a prescription. I will never go back nor would I recommend going there. He's definitely not living up to Target's level of customer service. read more

My exam and experience with the doctor was good and I have no complaints about the doctor here. My issue is specifically with the optical/optician services and I can tell you that I will never use Target again. At the end of the day I had to pay $560 for my glasses with insurance and it took a month to get the glasses from them. I chose a frame that was on sale during their Black Friday sale but then was not allowed to get them at the sale price because I used insurance to pay. I did not know that i would not be getting the sale price until i picked up the glasses because on the day that I ordered them and paid their computer system was down and no one ever called me back. So I'm penalized for paying to have vision insurance?!? My vision insurance is not a discounted rate. I pay for it biweekly out of my paycheck so that I'm covered because I have poor vision. I just called to ask for the Pupillary Distance that was used for my prescription so that I can order a second pair of glasses from another source more affordably and they refused to give me this information. It's my own medical information that they will not release to me!! I'm livid. read more

I usually don't write negative reviews but my experience here was beyond poor so I felt something needed to be said. The front desk lady (Nel?) was extremely rude and unprofessional. She caused a scene and talked down to me for no reason, all because she couldn't find my insurance in the system. I've been coming here for 2 years with the same insurance. Once we realized where the hiccup was, instead of being nice she again proceeded to talk to me like I was an idiot - causing all of the customers in the lobby to stop what they were doing and stare. I actually was quite shocked by her attitude towards me and the situation because insurance hiccups are a daily occurrence in a doctors office - and I did not do anything to prompt that kind of behavior. Her reaction was completely uncalled for. It was obvious that her colleague agreed, because he resolved the issue quickly and kindly. For that, I'll give a 2 star. My advice? Don't hire someone in a permanently bad mood to be in a position of customer service. read more

My glasses broke at the worst time during this quarantine and they couldn't be fixed, I called target and Alex said bring them in and he would try to find a frame that fit. God bless that man because he was able to find a frame that fit and they were actually cute! He is very professional and kind and I just wanted to give a super thumbs up for being such a good human being and such a good professional. That night I thought that I should probably get the frames back that were broken so I could take it back to my optometrist since they were only three months old and sure enough I called him in the morning and he said he would definitely go looking in the trash for Michael broken glasses. I mean that goes way beyond the call of duty whether I get them back or not he's trying! He's a hard worker and I appreciate all that he did for me. My wife and I made appointments, showed up a few minutes before and we waited for over an hour before they even saw up. Sure they call you and confirm your appointment but since take walk in's ahead of you, it seems pointless to make an appointment. They have little respect for your time.
