Went in 2 weeks ago to get my eyes checked. I honestly didn't know what to expect. It's been about three years since I last got my eyes checked, but I was definitely due for a check up. Schedule your exam if your first timer! Fill out the online forms. The staff will then stay in touch with any questions or concerns you may have before your appointment. THE SERVICES: The cost of the eye exam is $98 which the eye dilation is included with this price . Now you can choose eye, dilation, or pay the retinal imaging fee of $39 which would be separate . I had to drive right after my eye exam so I did a selection of retinal Imaging. I personally thought it was really cool. It was quick, easy and no side effects after. After I got my results, I was transitioned to one of the staff members where she was professional in guiding me to pick the perfect lens's for my frames. The Associate was thorough in giving me details with pricing, insurance coverage, giving me information about blue light, crystal, anti scratch, sharp vision. A lot of great info. Helped me narrow down my options and make an educated decision. Thank you so much! not even Kaiser gave me this much information when I first got my eyes checked two years ago. I just received my prescription glasses and I absolutely love them. I can sit here and say that I'm very satisfied with the service I received along with the professionalism of the associate that work at this location in target. BEWARE OF EYEGLASS PRESCRIPTIONS WRITTEN BY TARGET OPTICAL (Encinitas) After having prescription glasses made based on a prescription written by Target Optical, I immediately felt eye strain. I arranged an eye exam with another optometrist who wrote a much different prescription and even let me compare the two prescriptions in temporary glasses. The second prescription was clearly the correct one. I now have a $500 pair of glasses that I can't use and Target Optical has refused to reimburse for the cost of glasses with the incorrect prescription. I recommend finding a more competent optometrist. read more

I came here while checking out at Target since I needed new glasses. The eye exam was pretty efficient which was nice since I had to go to pick up my kid from school right after. They are good about not making you wait too long which was so nice. This place had a nice selection of frames to choose from. I decided to add on a prescription pair of Ray Bans since I need my glasses mostly for driving. Overall this was a very convenient and pleasant experience! read more

If you are looking for a great optometrist, then go see Dr. Ramolia and her Team. Dr. Ramolia is very thorough when it comes to explaining your test results. Def recommend doing the digital eye scans as well since it's helpful to understand your results. When it comes to glasses, their selection is great and I know I will be buying from them in the future. However I did order a new pair of prescriptions lenses, and the one thing I appreciated was the fact that I did not have to ship out my glasses since the lab had the pattern. The price was very reasonable even for lenses. Def. Recommend Dr. Ramolia as your primary optometrist. read more

I am so grateful for Dr. Keane for her efforts in finding me eye contacts that were compatible with my eyes for my wedding day. I've never had prescription eye contacts before. At my initial consultation with her, she made sure Omar sat down with me to practice putting in and taking out the eye contacts which was very helpful. Dr. Keane sent me home with various eye contact lenses that unfortunately did not work with my eyes. I was a bit discouraged and contemplated on quitting and not having eye contacts for my wedding day but she encouraged me to keep trying with the new contacts she ordered for me. You can tell Dr. Keane is extremely passionate and she loves what she does because she did not give up. Then at the second consultation, she ordered me Total 1 eye contact lenses and they were the perfect match!! I was able to wear them comfortably all day for my wedding day and most importantly, it allowed me to have perfect vision to see all my guests and details of the wedding without my prescription glasses. I could barely feel them in. I am so thankful for Dr. Keane's guidance, expertise and determination in encouraging me to keep trying! Our new insurance suggested Target Optical. Our current optometrist was booking weeks out and we needed contacts asap but could get into Target the next day. I was beyond pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service, how quickly we were in and out and how the doctor took the time to explain to my 19 year old what having a astigmatism meant and the best part is at the end of the appointment there was no upselling. read more
