I got a chance to visit this Target store and the store associates sitting in the entrance, she behaved to me very roughly and mocked on me when I asked for exchange and return and customer care window and she called another associate who was arranging the shopping carts, when she comes she told me it's all the way back right corner and when I checked from right to left there was no return/exchange accepting windows. I know that sometimes stores are short staffed but I used self checkout because there were only 3 check stands open with more than 3 people waiting in each. I'm ringing up my items and noticed a container I was purchasing was broke. I asked the target employee if I could get another and she called the department and they said they were out. I responded I'll take any color. Then she said you can get it. I have never heard of such. I've always known an employee can grab an item if needed especially if you have checked out already. Extremely racist and staff who does not care about their job. I am black and the minute I walked in, they looked at me as if I had stolen something already. Almost every employee I came across had the same look and attitude towards me. I went in to get feminine hygiene products and my brother got some other items as well. We ended up not getting one of the items, so I asked the self checkout person if they could take it off the kiosk. He took a heavy sigh signaling he did not want to be there and he removed it. He asked where the product went and when I told him my brother had put it back, he rolled his eyes and gave attitude. He stared at me and my brother the entire time as if we're taking something from the store when we were not. The thing is, this is not the first time it has happened either. They accused my mother and brother of stealing at this location when they have never stolen in their life. I moved to the area six months ago and this has been my closest Target to me. The first couple times I went I noticed that the layout is a bit strange. The beauty section is split into two sections, which aren't next to each other. The first beauty section is crammed back into the corner in the front of the store, and then the rest of that section is right in front next to the front doors(on the entrance closest to Big 5). I remember my first time there getting pretty frustrated at trying to find things. It added to the frustration that the aisles are tiny and two carts can't even fit through, other aisles had random pillars in the middle, again blocking two carts from being able to get through. I've never been to this Target when it's not busy, so it's super annoying trying to navigate around while trying to browse or find things. Other customers are also visibly frustrated and annoyed navigating past you in crowded areas. The clothes section seems to always be a little messy and out of a lot that others stores seem to be able to keep in stock. Seems like they have an issue with keeping the right amount of stock in every section. Other sections in the store also look like no employee goes through to "face" throughout the day and straighten up. The candle section comes to mind since that's one of the areas that I was in today. All of them were mixed, and several were out of stock(as always). I'm a shopper that if I have nothing better to do for awhile, I'll browse around and buy a bunch of crap that i don't actually need. I'm not sure why that would draw LP's attention, since I feel like a lot of their customers do the same thing. Maybe because I'm younger looking? I've been in a couple times where their "undercover" LP dude pretty much tries to sneakily follow me around the store the entire time I'm there. Definitely comes off a bit offensive to me. Lastly, their entire store is extremely understaffed. Is there just vacant management and HR positions so thats why the staffing hasn't improved? Dunno. Can only speculate why it's so awful. I'm inclined to believe that maybe the management team that they do have isn't great with employees, leaving a high turnover rate and people quitting. Guest Services has one employee when they clearly need a few based on the long line I see every time I'm there. The checkout lanes are where you really notice the lack of staff that they have-be prepared to wait several minutes. Not even exaggerating, it's nearly ten minutes every time that I have waited up there. There's usually only two cashiers there, leaving a ton of customers pile up, self checkout is just as long of a wait. Side note- I've seen a couple people being rude and complaining to the cashiers about waiting long.. it's not their fault. I'm sure they'd love more staff up there to ease some of the pressure on them and to make things speed along. They have zero control over the hiring. I used to love Target and go twice a week, now I try to avoid it at all costs. Who wants to go somewhere that they know they're going to leave pissed off? This management team really needs to put in even the minimal effort. read more

They allow customers to put dogs in shopping carts, which is disgusting! I understand people have service animals but this lady I saw with her dog in the cart was not a service animal. The fact that target sales food items, and those items are put into the shopping cart, where the current customer using the cart did not know a dog was previously in the cart is disgusting. Poor customer service by Ecker, just told us the insurance not showing us on the system. Told him that's it's impossible coz I just had our insurance pulled form other place and we had coverage active, then tried again. Other guy was nice to explain why insurance is not showing up. I like to go shopping early in the morning when it is not so crowded. This target was clean. I am somewhat hesitant to use public bathrooms in stores like this, however I went in. I have been receiving my medication at this pharmacy for about 4 years. I had a very good experience about a year and a half ago when I was having an extremely difficult time with my antidepressants. It was a time in my life that I cannot compare to any other. I was scared, anxious, depressed, and not sure what to do with the major (and scary) side effects of my antidepressants. It just so happens, that my doctor was on vacation while I started my medication. I could not count on anybody in his office to help me deal with the absolutely crazy side effects. I had never gone through any side effects as scary as these before. I literally felt like I was going crazy. It was such a lonely feeling not being able to have somebody guide me through the process. There were times I didn't feel I could make it. When I walked into this pharmacy, Angelica, the pharmacist took an interest in my well-being. She noticed that I looked very anxious and gave me some information on the antidepressants I was on. She also suggested helpful things I could do while the medication built into my system. It wasn't just the information she gave me, but how concerned she was for me. I appreciated it more than she will ever know. It really saved me during a time where health professionals were giving me the run around and tried to get rid of me as soon as they could. It was refreshing and just a God send in my opinion. I felt like I wasn't alone and that I had a professional on my side. Thank you beyond words to Angelica for taking the time to notice the little things (that in my opinion are really what it's all about). Anyway, I really wrote this comment because I was in the store recently picking up my medication and Angelica recognized me and said hello. She was super busy (as they always are) and asked me how I was doing. It had been over a year and a half and she still remembered me. It just confirmed to me that this pharmacy does go above and beyond when it comes to their customers. Thank you for your personable services. I am so grateful for people like you. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS TARGET PHARMACY! THEY DESERVE 0 STARS. They are facing a lawsuit with me b/c they gave me the wrong medication. I had been on the same medication for about a year now, but this time, instead of giving me MY medication, they gave me blood pressure medication. However, on the outside it was still marked the same as my regular pills. Even the fine print on the outside of the bottle said that the medication inside is supposed to be white and round. How hard is it to check what pills you're putting into what bottle!!!? What i got was round and pink and was imprinted E48. At first I thought it was strange too, but pharmacies change their drugs all the time. I figured this was just another generic brand for the same drug. I figured "they couldn't make a mistake as stupid as this one". Well I was completely wrong. I put my trust into the WRONG hands. It wasn't until I started feeling really strange that I realized that they gave me the wrong drugs. When I confronted the pharmacy manager, all he said was sorry and that he would give us a $30 gift card. Yeah, right, if I passed out and died due to low blood pressure, I'm sure that $30 gift card would cover my expenses. I've been on those blood pressure drugs for 5 days now and I was admitted to the ER today b/c my blood pressure was DANGEROUSLY low. I spent practically all day at the hospital. They were trying to raise my blood pressure by giving me IV fluids and they checked my blood pressure every 20 minutes. B/c my blood pressure was so low I was feeling lightheaded, dizzy, weak, and VERY COLD. All I have to say is that my lawyers will be calling them. The pharmacy manager was supposed to fill out an incident report and contact his supervisor to contact me but that didn't happen today. I guess this isn't high on their priority list. You gotta be f*cking kidding me. For some reason I don't feel like this is the first time it's happened. Cupcake Holder/Stand: $10.79! When Black Friday came, I looked up some deals and found that Target had a $10.79 Cupcake Holder for about 13 cupcakes!!! This Rancho Cucamonga Target was just down the street from the Victoria Gardens Shopping Center! Perfect! So I make it here late after noon, around 4pm and parking wasn't that bad at all. I thought I'd have to walk a mile from the entrance, but there were quite a few vacant spots. I also assumed there was going to be a riot in the store and messy from all the early morning deals, but lo and behold! This place was completely immaculate! Not one mess in site and nor was it crowded! I guess Target read all these reviews and changed it up a bit. It wasn't difficult to find my cupcake holder (3 left!) And service was fine, being that I didn't need help from anyone to find it, because honestly, the store was nice, clean and organized. Would recommend go to any other target besides this one for mobile pick up. Ordered 5 items at 6pm and said it would be ready at 8pm. Was exposed to COVID-19 so wanted to be safe. Never got an email stating that it was ready. Got there at 8:30 and waited 15 minutes. Eventually had to go in to talk to someone because no one was answering the phones. They then told me that there's a 4-6 hour delay. An email or notification about the delay would have been useful so we didn't waste so much time (waited for almost an hour). Went in today for 5 specific items; foundation, hairspray, deodorant, blades and spray paint in gray. They were out of stock on all 5 items. The only reason I went was because I had gotten a $50 gift card for my birthday. I used to be a huge Target shopper but now every time I go for specific items they seem to always be out of stock. Hit or miss. Sometimes they have products you need, other times shelves are empty for weeks. For instance, they've been out of the original Carmex tube chapstick for 2 weeks and their paper towels are only half stocked. They only have about 4 of their 14 check stands open and tell customers to use self check out. If I have to ring up and bag my own items can I get a discount or a paycheck? Not the best Target, but it works until they open a fully stocked functioning one. read more

Every time I come to this Target I regret it! The staff is unprofessional, it's always a mess and the store is just setup strangely. The staff, for the lack of better words, is ghetto. No one ever smiles, greets you or asks if you need any help. The store is always messy. Products are not placed conveniently for a pleasant and or efficient experience. You'll find bath soup by the yogurt section and shampoo by kitchen necessities? I'm constantly going back and forth and I'm frustrated by the end of my trip! On top of that, the restrooms are always dirty. Last night, none of the stalls had liners and no soap to wash your hands. I'm not a huge fan of this particular branch of Target's interior and setup. The aisles are narrow especially in the children's section, which I find counterintuitive. Toddlers like to run around and explore and when you can't fit your shopping cart in between the clothing racks as you're chasing/protecting/defending your kidlet, you either abandon ship or leave the department. It wasn't even that crowded and numerous times I found myself and other shoppers awkwardly trying to maneuver around each others' shopping carts. I really appreciated that they carry a wide range of the all-natural California Baby line of products for babies and kids. They didn't really carry very many Fisher Price products or toys aside from their Our Generation line, which I found rather unusual. The children's apparel department has limited options in style and size. There is a Starbucks and cafe on site. All of the employees inside the Target are helpful and friendly. My 22 month old had a coughing fit while we were seated at a table, and the barista at Starbucks quickly offered me a cup of water. read more

This target is slowly starting to look like a Wal-Mart. A couple years ago I actually use to like coming in and browsing, now I just try and get in and out. Disorganized areas, empty shelves, card readers don't work properly and now the loitering outside for money when I walk in. It makes me really sad as I have been a resident of Rancho Cucamonga for 10 years and have had to watch this happen to the store. I have done my fair share of surveys and given manager feed back on my dissatisfaction with my experience. I've even tried the drive up when it first opened and was pleasantly amazed until the 2nd time I used it and it took over 2 hours so I cancelled the order and reluctantly went in myself. Target Drive Up - Seriously the best thing for busy people I think this is the best thing that Target could have done, when your busy, on your lunch break, have little ones, whatever it may be and don't have time to really run in and do all that running through aisles, this is so easy, you place your order, you let them know when you're on your way, when you arrive and I kid you not, within a minute a Target member was coming out with my things and helped me load my car, I didn't even need to turn off my car, it was that easy, and boom I'm on my way. read more

First of all the employees no longer wipe the self service registers nor the carts. The toys department is a disaster. Items are placed on the shelf with no concern if they belong there or not. Now the dont accept cash at the self service registers. And they dont have an express lane. The say its because of the coin shortage. BS. Im better off going to the Ontario Target. This used to be my favorite place to shop however my experience at this location was awful. Restrooms were not working.. Being pregnant that was a no no. I felt sorry for the employees that have to work there and not have the bathroom available. Is that even legal? I seriously question the integrity of management and the company to allow such circumstances. In addition, I found it absolutely ridiculous that they have a 5.99 tweezers item on lockdown and requires employee assistance when there's a nearby item at a price point of 8.00 NOT on lockdown. I used to love having to shop without calling anyone over. After all was said and done I never even got my tweezers because I completely forgot to ask for the them at the register. This Target is great...until I get up to the register. There always seems to be an issue up there, and I think that a major source of the problem is that there is a large amount of turnover, because I ALWAYS seem to have a trainee when I get there. I am a coupon user, not an extreme couponer, but I usually use 5 - 10 in a shopping trip. I have had to do simple math for a girl as to why my coupon was not over the amount the item cost (Yes, 1+1-1.5 is not a deficit). Today a girl hand keyed Target coupons and actually ended up adding electronic items to my bill, and I had to break it down for her WHY that was a mistake, plus I had to bag my own groceries because she didn't want to use my reuseable bags. I only go here because it's close, but honestly I would rather drive to Sprouts, Trader Joes, and split a Costco trip with a buddy rather than go here. read more
