Been living in Rancho Cucamonga over 4 years now and this's my local target and I visit this location at least 3-5 times and I can honestly say I've never had an issue here. I've found myself coming here a LOT more than Walmart for about the past year now. Pricing is reasonable and selection is definitely there in almost every department. I come here for basic essentials as well as toys for the kids, movies, cat food (when it's stocked for the one I purchase!) among several other things. Quality is there, employees are always really friendly and helpful. Restrooms I'd give a 3/5. Their $1 aisle/section has some pretty nifty things to get your hands on and $5 throw pillows! It's a good store and pair prices. But the shelves are always empty, and their online inventory is unreliable.

Went there last night to see if I could find the MGA's Miniverse Lifestyle Series 1 Wave 2. I go in and head for the toy Dept and I don't see it on the shelf, so I try to find someone to help me do an item check, I see a few employees just standing around talking to each other, but then I see a young guy rolling around a metal cart looking like he's actually working so I go up to him and ask him if he could please look up an item, he does and he tells me he'll go check in the back and for me to wait. I waited for a few minutes and he came back holding a case of what I needed and I thanked him so much as these are hard to find now! I ask him his name and I see his name tag said Vincent. Now Vincent went above and beyond and Target definitely NEEDS to hire more people like him! So I go to pay and I can see the young girl at the cashier is already looking at me with a smug look and I know what I'm in for. So I'm next and the first thing she says is "you can't have the box". I look at her and I calmly tell her, "I was just given this from the back and I'm buying all 18 capsules, so yes I am getting the box". She gives me a bad look and rings me up. I've had this problem before with Target in Fontana. I bought over $500 worth of MGA's Miniverse and as I'm standing in line, an employee comes up to me and says, "you can't take the case". I got up to the cashier and she had the worst attitude, beyond rude and she puts my two cases of MGA's Miniverse cases to the side and starts ringing up people behind me and I ask her, "what's going on"? She says "I'm waiting on a manager". I couldn't believe she just blatantly ignored me and didn't communicate to me what she was doing! So this young guy comes and whispers to her something and after she's rung up at least 3 people, she says "the manager said it's ok". Her demeanor instantly changed and she proceeded to scan all the capsules, one by one. In my opinion, Target hires too many people with absolutely no people skills, and they need to do a complete overhaul with their training program, if they even have one, on how to treat customers! Sometimes you'll get lucky and find a great employee like Vincent, but they are few and far between and it shouldn't be this way! read more

Got an order for drive up and the staff was slow and lazy. People, including me, were waiting for their orders that were piled up and ready to be brought out, but instead of doing their jobs the staff was talking and joking around meaning we had to wait longer and it wasn't until another staff member came out and got them to do their jobs that we got what we needed. Sometimes we come here to buy household appliances. We get almost everything from here that fulfills our daily needs. The price of the products seems reasonable most of the time. The employees are friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. This place is always neat and clean. One of my few favorite targets. Shayla is the most amazing customer service representative ever. She is sooooo lovely to my three year old daughter. She remembers us every time we come in and my daughter likes to "help" Shayla with the register and Shayla always makes her feel like she has helped. I like this Target because it's local and convenient. However what I dislike is checkout. They recently installed 16 self check out lanes with 8 on each ends of the store. However most of the times only one side is open and whatever side is open they only have 3 or 4 of the 8 registers open. Once they told me it was because they weren't working. They're brand new! Make it make sense. I think it's because they don't want to have multiple employees having to watch self checkout. Interesting recently they had special visitors and all registers were open. If y'all are gonna have only a couple actual cashiers than y'all need to have all self checkout available to use. Very inconvenient for customers. read more

Perfect store if you want to be robbed by thieves, no store/management responsibility, lack of security. If I could give this place negative stars I definitely would. This place has been my home store since I was a child and I had no problems with it. However, after a particular incident my perceptions have absolutely changed. On August 2 at around 9PM, my little sister, mom, and I decided to make a Target run. My mom had noticed that there were a pair of dumb teenagers following us around (FYI this is stalking). We had no idea why, but we tried to lose them. Near the end of our trip, my little sister's cell phone was stolen OUT OF HER BACK POCKET INSIDE THE STORE (THIS IS SEXUAL HARASSMENT). She tried running after them but could not keep up. NO ONE HELPED HER OTHER THAN MYSELF AND MY MOM. This happened near the entrance/exit of the store! NO SECURITY GUARD WAS PRESENT AT THIS ENTRANCE/EXIT. All other Targets I have been to have security at the entrance/exits of the store. ISN'T THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF SECURITY TO PROMOTE STORE SAFETY?! THIS INCLUDES CUSTOMERS AS WELL!!!!! We soon found out there was only 1 security guard on duty and he was at the back of the store. For a store so large as this one this is completely unacceptable!!!! However, fault should not be placed on security. He was very kind, gained footage, and gave us the resources to contact law enforcement. The fault lies with the store and management! Management did not even bother to help nor talk to us. It's pretty sad that I have to drive to a whole other target because this one has such horrible issues with stocking their items and horrible customer service. The lines are always extremely busy, the parking lot is always overwhelming, and the customer service is mediocre at best. The people in the self check out line hardly even look at you, let alone help guests when they need. There's over 10 check out stands yet only 3-5 are running at a time, and that's being modest. It's really disappointing and it's not the normal target experience you would receive. The other day I was walking through and there were feces on the floor with team members standing around it just laughing. I made a full circle around the store and it still wasn't cleaned up when I came back around at least 15 to 20 minutes later. If you have the time, just drive to the next closest target to you. Came in today and wanted to try to return some pants that didn't fit so i went to exchanges and the lady who i assume is a manager i didn't get her name but she had a elephant tattoo on her arm was rude and when i said i lost the receipt she looked me up and down as if i had just found the pants and was trying to scam them or something. Felt extremely discriminated against and she was also rude to other customers and definitely did not want to be there. If you don't like your job then quit ! Don't take it out on the customers. Target in RC on foothill is awfully run, unorganized staff not competent, lead staff not professional especially Corine the morning manager. I once enjoyed the target experience, now it's just looking like a red Walmart. Please someone help this location get it together. I am not too sure about the customer service of the store, but their pharmacy is beyond phenomenal. I was there yesterday evening around 7:30pm and I was helped by their tech. She was extremely attentive and fast. She apologized for the delay and gave out extraordinary care. She did not need the apologize because I could see she was doing the best she can. This is the employee of the year right here. She had such a great attitude on a Thursday and I know her work ethic is the same on Mondays as well. I wish my insurance covered some of the vaccines, but I will not forget her memorable service. We need people more like her! I don't really remember names, but I believe it was Michelle! read more

While this Target location is vastly subpar to the rest of the locations, This rating is specifically for the Photo Center. The ease of coming to Target to get photos printed is to shop and then collect them or instaPrint. This was the WORST WORST experience I had ever had. I chose to do the instant photos. As I was using their USB cords to import, I assumed it would be seemless. It wasn't. The software only recognizes my most recent 200 photos. So I created a folder thinking it would be easier to access them. The software still didn't recognize it. So I downloaded the Kodak Memories app that the program uses. It's the most flawed system to use. I could only access the system while on Targets SHIT wi-di. I literally STOOD at the kiosk for 45 minutes waiting for the app to access my photos and attempt to transfer. My husband also tried to use his phone and the app and it was Non responsive. When we tried to readjust the location on our Kodak app it kept giving us a "download error" because of targets WiFi. The worst part was we were by customer service and not one manager or associare asked if we need help despite my verbal and physical frustration with the kiosk. We've already had an issue with terrible cashiers and customer service. I wish there was another Target closer to our home. I absolutely had the worst experience today and will honestly think about going somewhere else. read more

This target was recently remodeled. The restrooms have been remodeled too and have a modern design. As for the store, It looks better now. Items are being more displayed than before like seasonal items, home goods, clothes. It looks more organized, bright and of course clean even if it takes a little time to get used to the newly remodeled store. There is now another self checkout area at the other entrance which is convenient and it is really quick now to scan the items. There is pretty cool stuff for the kids in their 1 dollar section. Don't forget to check the cartwheel application, there are some nice deals that you sometimes don't want to pass. read more

I hate writing bad reviews especially Target, but I feel it's long over due! So this has been happening before the pandemic OKAY!! Website states item is available but once at store it's unavailable, pick up service is a hit or miss! Messy shoe aisle. Since the pandemic hit it got even worse so I stopped coming! But from time to time I had to come since I was hunting for items like many of us were looking for tp paper towels soap sanitizer etc you guys know, well I noticed long lines, the self check out had no cash only cards accepted, I do understand the long lines everywhere but every time I was here the lines were insane! Anyways yesterday was the last straw for me I had a store pick up and I had to pick up by Sunday, my kids wanted to tag along so I decided to just stop by and do some shopping, but before I went I took a look at the stuff I wanted and on my app it showed they had plenty available so I was happy about it, once I get there my kids got what they wanted, got a few groceries and headed to the household aisle I needed a new dish rack well none to be found! So my husband took another look and nothing, so that got me a tad annoyed, now we headed to the kids section, wanted to get my daughter a potty seat, well none available, they did have the plain simple ones but not the one she wanted, by that point I was upset, so I said well let's go! Headed to check out only 3 cash registers open, the self check out was long, I was just annoyed at that point so I headed to the pick up counter, I finally got my items after waiting 5min and headed back to my family luckily they were just about done paying, I started checking my pick up bag and noticed 1 of my 2 items were missing!!!!!! Ugh that set me off I went back only 1 employee was helping customers and the line seemed to get longer luckily the young lady acknowledged me and helped me right after she was done, she goes back and no item was found Double checked the bag nothing so she had to do an item return!!! That was the cherry on top! I won't be coming here or doing any in store pick ups! Our Sunday shopping was ruined for me! Now I have to wait and go to another target to get what this store didn't have! The thing that pisses me off is it showed they had the items available! It wasn't the first time that my in store pick up items were missing ! Its just very inconvenient! I will just stick to the upland location! But I'm glad I checked my bag before I left or else I would of been at a loss only a couple bucks but still it's my money! I been noticing a lot of staff just don't care anymore I'm sorry to say but it's the youngsters! They lack skills and want to make top dollar!! I was stopping in just for a few items so I was doing self checkout. I was with a friend and we are in our twenties (but we do look younger). At the self checkout I accidentally scanned an item twice. I kind of giggled and the lady monitoring self checkout didn't say anything and started to tap aggressively on the keys to take off the item with a huge attitude. She didn't say a word and I did apologize but she was rude. I usually don't write reviews on customer service but I was really shocked about the situation. I myself work retail and would have at the LEAST told the customer "no worries it happens have a good day". I was really disappointed how she approached the situation. read more

I live about 20 miles from this Target but i happened to go there with a friend and while she shopped I checked out the Tech area for a new phone. Vincent was SO helpful but really busy that day so I decided to go back to him for my phone. I actually had to go back twice because I didn't have the passwords I needed. IT WAS WORTH EVERY MILE!! He is not only SO helpful, he is REALLY considerate and a great multi tasker. The second time I was there - there were 5 of us waiting for his magic! He kept us all happy, going back and forth doing all the steps he needed to do to get things done. All of us really appreciated his hard work and we were actually out of there in a reasonable time - the whole time Vincent was really patient and very pleasant. He smiled the whole time! There are MANY Targets between me and Rancho Cucamonga but I would make that trip any time to get that kind of customer service! THANKS VINCENT!! read more

I came to Target to buy some tooth paste on Sunday February 23rd about 8:00 pm. I saw some Downy products on sale. When I went to pay for my merchandise the cashier said that nothing was showing as a sale. She asked one of the lead cashiers, Rosa and , Rosa said no . Nothing on sale otherwise it will show when cashing out and walked away..... I paid and I walked all they back to the downy isle and grabbed the discount label. The cashier asked another lead- cashier. Pamela handled the situation and apologized to us for the inconvenience. What is the point of offering drive up/pick up services if it ALWAYS takes significantly longer than going in, picking my items and waiting in line? This issue is ongoing. I don't know if it's a staffing issue, organization issue or what, but I don't have this problem at any other Target. Last time I came, I was waiting for almost 30 minutes, turns out my EGGS were sitting outside in a cart that entire time. DONT ORDER online for store pickup. If you do, review your items before they put them in the car. Just picked up 1 out of 3 items today. Though I drove 30 minutes with wasted gas to have them only give me the toy. The girl mentioned it was only 1 item received yet 2 items were stated picked up. The girl told me to go to customer service tomorrow to waste another 30 minutes of gas if the item doesn't get canceled like she told me. First question, how do I prove that she didn't give it to me when it says picked up. Lastly, my item cannot work well without the last item purchased on Black Friday. The item got canceled when I waited in the parking lot for over 20 minutes. Management please review how items are getting charged as picked up but not in my car. Also, is you POS system from 1980 because I thought cancellations get listed right away instead of the dial up modem way or your parking lot persons are borrowing items from customers and showing picked up.
