This is the local target in RC. Not the best and not the worst. A solid 3/5 Stars. Starbucks inside is a hit or miss. Training ground for new employees, make sure you get your receipt. Wasted money (overcharge) and lot of time... only to get your order wrong (twice in a row now). Luckily the more experienced staff keep their cool and make up for it. Kudos to them! Silver lining is I got 2 drinks... Otherwise, Target itself is fairly clean. Bathroom 3/5. Daughter always says it's smelly Need more checkout lanes open. This Target pharmacy saved my life a few weeks ago. I asked for an over the counter medicine for a ear infection and they didn't have one but suggested calling my doctor and having them call it in for me. This isn't my normal pharmacy at I don't live in the area, so I called Teladoc from the parking lot and right away he called in prescription for me. I walked in after the call and let the pharmtech know and she found my prescription right away and filled it within 10 minutes. This is a pretty big Target compared to others. You can tell it has been renovated due to the spacious hallways. Due to COVID, they have face masks, handsanitizer, and they continuously wipe carts. They sanitize the self-checkout area every 20 minutes, but they can wipe it anytime if you ask the sanitizing attendant on duty. I noticed this Target has a lot more variety compared to others, which is great if you're looking for more unique variations of items. They also were stocked of exclusive KPOP albums from Blackpink and BTS during Christmas shopping season, which is definitely a plus. I recommend drive-up pick up as well! They are very well organized and it helps if you are not comfortable going inside stores during the pandemic. read more

While I love Target, I'm always so disappointed in the service. Target is probably the busiest store I shop at, yet they are ALWAYS under staffed resulting in super long lines. Seriously though, even the self checkout lines are long. My other complaint is related to the card readers in the self checkout...they NEVER work! As for the store in general, it's usually clean and stocked with everything I need, and most importantly, items I don't need...lol! In fact on my visit today, I was hoping to find the Limited Edition Mickey Ice Cream Bars, and they had them. This is why I love Target! If I could give negative stars I would ! So While shopping at Target today during the Halloween clearance, I encountered a discomforting situation. I do like to take my time and scan every item ( since they're not always labeled correctly ) , then While scanning items through the Target app, I noticed associates seemingly observing my actions. I was there for quite some time and little by little they made me feel uncomfortable by always having an associate staring at me . I decided to leave, As I proceeded to the self-checkout (because the cashier lines were long as usual ), two loss prevention team members positioned themselves around me, creating a sense of unease and intrusion. One stood behind and one in front of me ! I scanned my items paid and left but the entire The experience left me feeling uncomfortable and scrutinized, especially during my checkout. I value Target's commitment to customer safety but I hope they implement more discreet methods. Having three children, We spend hundreds at Target every month, And trust me I have no necessity to be stealing clearance Halloween items in November ! I used to love target but after this experience, I don't know how I feel about them anymore. Ps. *Update 5/6/20: Went to get some much needed items. Such things bigger toddler underwear for my growing kid, needed a few food items, etc. I was highly disappointed!!! Barely anything was in stock. They literally had three packs of girls underwear. 3!!! Two were 2-3T and one 4T, which thankfully I grabbed because my toddler had outgrown hers and trying to order from Amazon or nearby anywhere else right now is ridiculous especially with shipping times. Most grocery items not stocked, definitely no cleaning products, paper towels etc. To make matters worse, only two employee run checkstands were open, with a line at least 15-20 people deep. The self checkouts also had 20+ people. Waited 30 minutes, but luckily it moved faster than I was expecting. Hope to not have to go back to this disaster of a store for a long while! This is by far the worst Target as far as store layout and customer service. I can never find what I need in this store because items are placed in such sporadic locations! There is no rhyme or reason to the layout. Most household items are within a few aisles of each other at most Targets I've been to. This one has house goods on two separate sides of the store. The same with personal supplies. Two separate locations not an any kind of order. Most of the time the personal supplies such as toothpaste, deodorant, etc. have bare shelves! Another gripe I have is not once, I repeat not once have I ever asked an employee which aisle something is on, and they redirect me to the wrong place. Sometimes it takes me 2 or even 3 employees to get to the right spot. Most of the time they act inconvenienced by my questions. Rarely do I encounter a friendly well informed employee except at the check stands. I've also noticed there are a lot of employees finding orders for pickup or order ahead whatever they call it. They seek just as confused where to find things. Sometimes they even seem irritated over having to pick the items for the customer. This is the closest location to my home, and it is one of the bigger Targets in the area, with great hours. But with the that comes crime. I do not feel safe shipping here after dark. Today I ran into return an item and pick up diapers. I notice an employee who looked distraught so I asked her if she was ok. She admitted she wasn't happy with the changes, the cut in hours and that they were now having to do multiple jobs. I asked if they were a training store like I heard the Upland location was and she answer yes. I've noticed the changes too I told her and that I'm not impressed. I told her I use to shop at Target regularly and that it now is a drag to go to the stores. Mostly because I feel that the products are too high end, that the stores aren't stocked like they use to be, or have since stopped carrying common products, and that customer service has gone down hill. I felt sorry for her to be honest. She's been there for 19 years and loved her job up until the last year. She's waiting until her 20 year mark to retire. I wished her the best of luck and told her I hope today of all days turns out better than she expected. But what does that say about the ever changing Targets? This Target sucks ass! I've been hating this Target for a while, but it's the closest one and I've been trying to be understanding because of all the shipping delays and stuff. Pre-pandemic, this Target has always been DIRTY (ex.: trash on the shelves, guy with long hair at the food court not in a ponytail or anything). This Target also never gave stellar customer service. I never ask questions or for help, but I always feel like I'm in the employees' way (and I'm not). I used to work at a Target for 5 years, and if I was stocking shit and in a customer's way, I moved! That has never been the case here. Anyway, now, the store is still dirty and again, NEVER stocked. The only friendly employees I encounter are the ones outside running like chickens with their heads cut off in drive-up, and one guy in electronics. Everyone else never acknowledges customers and while I'm checking out, they're just sighing and moving all slow, and it's like they can barely go on. I get it that Target doesn't pay shit for the shitty people the employees have to deal with, but come on, we all have to work, we're all suffering, and we all want to go home. And the returns...it's always ONE cashier...ONE. They also took off the rope thing for the line and people don't know how to line up so where just awkwardly scattered there, all weird. It's pretty unorganized. OH, and the customers at this Target...omg. For some reason, this Target has the most annoying customers. It's mostly families with their kids (of all ages, teens, too) who don't realize they're not the only ones in the store (or in the world). They take up the entire aisles, and even when I say "excuse me," I get a death glare and they barely move an inch. Then there's the kids running amuck and I guess these moms think that's okay? Like, they look at me like I shouldn't be bothered that their kid running in my way, or being loud af, or sneezing without covering their mouth. Only at this this Target, for some reason. So yeah, this Target is really not on-brand for Target. It's the least Targetiest Target, and the most Walmart Target. read more

This target frustrates me. They hardly ever have anything in stock when I go in person . When I do show up to grab a few things they only have one self check out stand open which is the one on the far side of the store near the customer service area. Having only one self checkout line open forces people with literally 2 items to make two choices: walk down to the other side of the store where the self check out line is hella long or go to the register with a cashier that is hella slow and coughing all over the items ... The last few times I've ordered from there I've ordered online and did pick up but I can't even do that all of the time because sometimes the online items are out of stock or not available at that location so I have to order it from another location . Hopefully in the future they can keep the items fully stocked (health and beauty ) and keep both self checkout areas open and not one so there is a better flow within the store . This store isn't "horrible". But it's definitely more of a basic Target. It could be great - but they are never stocked. So even what they "say" they will have - it's always empty. And when you ask if they will be stocked - the staff doesn't know. The staff is friendly though, so I appreciate that a lot cause customer service really matters to me. They also don't have basic things like Aquafina - I've been living for 3 months and have never seen them have that or Dasani. Which is odd to me. It's not a bad store for a quick stop - but I don't recommend this location if you're looking for ALL of your typical Target needs. read more

This location is the worst. I put in a drive up order that normally takes about 2 hours to be ready at this location. They took 3 hours so I didn't even get to pick it up since it was getting late, that's fine. I went the next day, it was a lot of essentials that I needed due to being sick. They were pretty busy but had maybe 4 workers working outside for the drive up. And they still took almost 20 minutes to give me my order. Even the guy the next to me complained after they handed me my order that he was there before me waiting. So unorganized and to top it off they gave me bananas that were already going bad, and my bagels were squished. The target in Upland has way better service and they are a lot quicker with orders. This location has been completely remodeled and seems brand new. The layout is unlike any other Target I've ever been to and while it was tough to navigate these new waters, I already felt at home. The hubby and I ran in for your standard Target run tonight after having dinner in the area. I felt like I cheated on my hometown store but I promise I didn't get too comfortable. This location is next to a ton of stores, restaurants, and services in a long mall-esq shopping center. It can be hard to see off the street (Foothill Blvd.) but that infamous logo will lead you home. They have a full Starbucks inside and the cosmetics and hair products area is very modern. I walked into the women's restroom around 1:00 in the afternoon and there was a large dog lying in the middle of the floor. There was a makeshift bed with clothes and personal items in the handicap stall. There was blood on the floor in 2 of the stalls. When I reported this the manager said that they can't do anything about it. She said the only cleaning person on duty was male and they would have to wait until the female restroom "resident" and her dog vacated until it could be cleaned up. This is unacceptable and a poor excuse to not maintain the store restroom. read more

Loss prevention here is CREEPY. I had to go the restroom and the gift wrap section mid shopping trip which is at the front of the store by the door (very important to note). When I was about 20 steps away from the bathroom SECURITY bolted out of a door in front of me which I thought was weird. After I used the restroom, I got out and the security man was waiting by the carts and watching ME but not making eye contact while I proceeded to the gift section. If you're a woman, you know this is a disgusting feeling to be stared at by a nasty man. I went into the cards aisle and was BLOCKED by a smaller girl who I could tell was also security but she was caught off guard that I went into the aisle she was in. She was all frazzled (not even pretending to look at cards, moving frantically) and wearing a red t shirt. I have no issue with loss prevention but this security here gave me a bad feeling in my gut. I made a return and checked out. If you know the area, you know there has been a lot of crimes committed by men in the shopping center so to single out ME, a young girl who was ALONE mind you, was weird. All I had in my cart was one set of legos (under $100) and a book in my cart, so again, very very weird. The security here seems predatory and they got way too close to me. I really hope the security personnel here is fired but I won't be back to this location to find out whether that happens or not. read more

First Target run on the west coast and I gotta say, this one is real nice. As we entered the store, I was expecting to see the $1/$3/$5 section with miscellaneous seasonal stuff. Instead, it was a nice store display of all things Valentines--champagne, chocolates, pink/red heart decorations...but my most favorite was the Kendall Farms floral arrangements because some were in wooden mason jars (I repeat, wooden mason jars!). Kendall Farms is only local to Californians so I was really tempted to buy an arrangement to bring back home (thankfully you can order online, btw). This store location is pretty big and although I was a little thrown off by the layout initially, as I started walking around and exploring a bit more the different sections were becoming a little familiar to me. Thankfully prices are pretty much the same even though cost of living around these parts can be higher than average. What surprised me, though, was that I guess these places are BYOB (bring your own bag). It was a good thing we only had a few items otherwise it would cost us 10 cents per plastic bag! That's twice as much as the bags are in Maryland and DC! For those looking to get a quick bite or coffee run, they have Pizza Hut and Starbucks inside. All in all, t'was a great shopping experience (as we normally do in any Target location). We would come back again if we were ever in the area. read more

I feel like I practically live at Target! I'm here at least a handful of times each week because I live nearby and it is convenient to come here when I need items, whether it be food or household goods. This particular location has been re-modeled so it looks more modern. They normally keep the self-checkout on the left entrance to the store open. I've noticed a few times I've come that the checkout area to the right is usually closed off. It's best to come in the morning or later at night, I've stopped by to pick up some stuff in the evening and it get's super packed. Self-checkout line goes by pretty quick though. The staff are also very friendly at this location. I believe this store was the first one I've shopped at where all the employees greet you if you happen to be in an aisle they're walking down. I got a little freaked out at first because I'm not used to it but I figure they must have had some recent training on customer service. Five stars for being customer friendly! The only thing I will warn you about for this Target location is to beware of the Starbucks located inside. I've ordered their drinks a few times and it came out terrible! Worst Customer Service! One register open ( line of over 20) customers waiting. Self checkout only one side open long line. Asked cashier to call for help, response was I needed to find my own manger to get him help. Several customers left their full cart, got tired of waiting. I went to customer service asking to speak with Store Manager, all supervisors in a meeting. I asked for corporate number or store manager number, no one had the number. Let's add to it, they expect you to bag your own purchase. Since 2020 , I started noticing the decline of service, but this is crazy that none of their personnel have any customer service and know how to talk with people. I kept getting the runaround. I was told that they needed to google the phone number for corporate, since none of them have it. From someone that us to work retail and was in management, it was my respectfully to make sure my employees learned those qualities, it is very obvious they this store management team does not know how to manage or teach their employees good customer service, so customers continue to come back. I've went to this Target 3 or 4 times before, but this time I left a bit disappointed.. To start it off, when I went to the pharmacy, the guy at the counter taking care of the woman before me gave her a lot of attention and his tone of voice was very welcoming. But when it came to me, his tone changed and it was not welcoming. Which didn't make sense, because I didn't do anything to change his demeanor. I was proper in my words, answers, etc. Second, I went to the self serving check out. I had asked the guy directing everyone if the corner machine was working. Simple yes or no would suffice. But he didn't speak loud enough when I asked 3 times. When I looked closer, the machine was not working and he told me "I told you it was down". Again, a simple yes or no. Its hard enough to hear everyone with their masks on. Third, I wanted to put my groceries down next to the girl at the sanitation booth because I wanted to see if my prescription was ready for pick up. I asked her to just look after them for a moment, and she told me in a stuck up way, "I'm not responsible if anything happens to them". And I couldn't help but think, so if these items are no longer on your shelves, they don't mean a thing. Even when I came back, and said thank you, she didn't say anything. I don't know Target, you gotta teach your staff more about customer service if you want customers to stick around. read more

Five stars for customer service! I bought the Up&Up brand of water pitcher filters because they didn't have the Brita water filters I usually get. Unfortunately, after opening the package, I discovered that the new filter didn't fit properly. When I brought it back to Target Guest Services and explained my situation, there was no hesitation to refund my money.
