This store is reasonably clean. Don't know why some say otherwise. Restrooms are very clean. I usually find 90% of what I'm looking for. They're always out of something which is funny, tons of employees restocking. The music in this store gives me a headache. We're not all 20 somethings. Came to this target because the two locations that are closest to me always seem out of the items I need, this location had a great selection of the dollar spooky items that are perfect for goodie bags for kids so I was very happy since that was my goal in coming here. My husband came here with the intent of looking for a nightmare before Christmas jacket that they've been selling but unfortunately they didn't have it in stock at this location either so he just ordered it online. The location itself is really big, nice and clean, there's always someone walking around tidying things up. I think the only reason I gave it four stars was because I've been to this location so many times before and every time I have it seems like they have a greater selection but their shelves are still never really completely stocked which is a bummer because I would probably buy more if they had more out displayed. read more

THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES! I have a problem with their order that they delivered, and I have no way to talk to anybody

If you want your time wasted go here. We go here because it's closest to our house. Unfortunately we just took our final visit to this location in general. The last 10 times we've gone there for an item and it wasn't there. The website and app would indicate for example 10 of these certain vacuums in stock. We'd get there and there would be 0 and the location was off like saying the vacuums were in the baby boy aisle. Every time this has happened an employee would verify "yup it says 10 but we have none on stock or in the back" and in some situations they'd mention "yeah that's weird we haven't had that in like 3 weeks" Rather go to the one on Saratoga Ave or oakridge where both only have 1 register open instead of waste my time at this location again. There have been more than 10 occasions where we go and they don't have something even though their app and store says they have plenty. Never had that issue at any other target in the area. read more

Stopped by during my Lunch from work because i needed to pick up a few thing. Parking Lot is huge and spacious (possibLy because my visit was during the weekday??) If you ask me, this Location is just Like any other other average Target department store. ALL the necessities you need, aLL under one roof making your visit super convenient. I didn't notice the fiLth that so many yeLpers compLained about but I was focused on getting my items and hurrying back to work. I noticed that several customer were wearing their masks incorrectly, with their noses exposed! None of the staff said anything to them. WORSE, many children were either not wearing masks at all, especially kids under the age of 6-7. I believe it is federally mandated that children over the age of two are required to wear a mask. Some children over the age of eight had their masks under their nose or even below their mouths! One even had his mask under his chin as he was repeatedly talking to his mother. Neither the children's parent or staff said ANYTHING, though asked a few of the mothers to please fix their child's mask. I also noticed that many people did not use the hand sanitizer at the entrance OR at the exit, even though it was in plain view near the carts! On a positive note, I was impressed by the staff's use of masks and gloves, as well as their efforts to keep the handles of the shopping carts and hand baskets clean and disinfected. read more

I still love Target, and think this location is one of the better ones in the area, BUT I've been running into inventory problems lately. On a recent trip I came in for women's underwear. I stood in front of the display wall, looking for my size, and another woman was doing the same. She joked about how she always had a hard time finding her size and I had to agree. The bra area was also quite disorganized and sizes were all mixed up. On another visit I wanted a frame for a 22x28 poster, but they were out of stock on that size as well as several others. I've found it is easier to order on line for in-store pick up and let the employees do the work of finding the correct size. Next, the grocery. I would like to get everything done at Target, but I've been noticing limited or no inventory on some items. Famous Amos cookies? Pretty standard but they were out of them for over a month. Yesterday I went in looking for pearl barley. I looked it up on the app, since there weren't any associates in the vicinity, and it showed in stock, but no aisle number, which was sort of strange. I figured it should be with the rice, and went there, but nothing. I found an employee and she checked her scanner and also called the back, but no go. At the same time another shopper was looking for bread crumbs, another very basic cooking item. The employee went with her to the aisle, but the shelf was empty. There WAS rainbow colored farfalle pasta, so they had that demographic covered, but no bread crumbs. So, as much as I like this location and hate to downgrade my rating from a 4 to a 3 (which is still A-OK) they need to iron out the inventory issues to get back up to or 4 or 5. read more

No I am not materialistic but the thought of having someone carelessly do their job when instructed to do it a specific way - do the opposite, it's quite disrespectful. Today I came in to buy an iPhone charger and was going to go to Safeway after for groceries. Guess what? This stop ended up being the one stop shop. I bought the charger for 11.99 but I also found some awesome deals on groceries. T bone steaks for 10.50 with a 5.00 sticker. I bought 2 of them and saved a lot of money. Good quality too. I found eggs for 1.19 for large eggs. I found lactose free whole Milk in the bottle for 3.50 and then I found apple fritter bread loaf and a lot of awesome groceries. For Skye I let her pick a treat and she picked raspberries. The checkout guy was super friendly and very courteous. Oh and there is a Starbucks in this store close to entrance. Win win read more

This Target has really gone downhill and constantly out of every day essentials that other store locations always have. It's disappointing because this one is so close to my house. We came in to get some groceries on Monday. When we walked in there was 3 girls running the carts in the front and were super rude when telling us which carts we were allowed to grab from. If some are clean and some are not shouldn't you just have signs up rather then 3 girls just standing there waiting for customers to grab the wrong ones? As we walked around the groceries I noticed there was a ton of cheese that was molded, old looking meat,and a lot of the shelves were empty. (But how is there blocks of cheese full of mold and no team members seeing this while restocking??) We bought a few things, including a variety bag of chips--well last night my boyfriend after puking for ten minutes we were going over what he ate and he said he ate two bags of chips from the variety pack. Well turns out these were expired since the beginning of last month. Which is disgusting and there is no date on the actual outside packaging to know when the different bags of chips inside were expired. He has to leave work early due to this and lose out on hours. Their employees need to be handling the grocery sections better, I will be returning the groceries we bought. This is disgusting they aren't checking on this stuff before putting it out. read more

This has been my go to Target because it's quite close to where I live as opposed to other Targets. Usually this place has what I need and because I love Target, I come here quite frequently. Love the fact this Target is bigger than others I've been to. You can get yourself lost in there for couple of hours. Today, I decided to download their Target app on iPhone and use their Drive Up service. For those of you who doesn't know what that is; it's basically where you order certain items through the app (limited items), wait to get an email saying it's ready, drive to Target location designated for Drive Up (parking spots with numbers), and workers bring out whatever you ordered. App said within 2 hours, which isn't true. I had waited 2.5 hours before deciding to cancel my order (since my order never processed) and go inside Target myself. It was quicker than using the app. I'd say app is only good if you want advance ordering for order pick up in store or drive up. I shall try to order for pick up next time and see what happens. Wish customer service was a little better. Of course I'll be back here because I love Targets too damn much, but not enough to get their circle card. Their prices and quality of products aren't bad and decent, too. Beware not to splurge while shopping at Target. read more

Literally got followed around the store while I was just casually shopping and taking my time around the store. 2 workers stood right in front of me and stared and then asked if I needed help while I was clearly looking at make-up... mind you whenever I am at target, workers never have asked if I needed assistance. To the manager at this location. Today on monday 7/29/19 around 5:45 pm one of your staff in the parking lot area (an older man with a hat) was working so hard moving the long carts to the store. After he is done he went back out and start picking up garbage by bending his body many times. I am like him who does not like to see garbage around but i wish you can provide him with this very reasonable Useful tool called "pikstik grabber". With chain stores, you will definitely get different service from store to store. Service will never be consistent because of the high turnover in retail. Customer service is bad at this store. In retail, usually customer is always right. I know this because I've worked in retail. I rarely go to this Target, but was in the area so I dropped by and tried to do a return on a gift without a receipt, and they made it difficult. Learn to say what you can do for customer, not what you can't. It was pointless to argue, as I can just go to another store anyway. Store is located in a strip mall next to Home Depot with plenty of parking, but lighting is not great. Learn to make the customer happy and you will get repeat business. Luckily I never need to shop at this specific location. My business will definitely be going to other Target stores in the area, and not here. Super rude employees at the customer service counter. I would never come here again. I'm 5 months pregnant and was treated like a juvenile. I did my baby registry at Target and was promised a baby gift bag, but all the local Target stores around me never have them. I was in the area and went to buy buy baby and then this Target and when I asked the lady at the customer service counter if they had any baby gift bags, she rudely looks at my belly and demands me to show her my registry. And I was like I guess I can show you on my phone even though I was thinking that it's probably more efficient to use the computer in front of her. I showed it to her and she seemed defeated. I was going to purchase these items and after scanning the first item at self checkout a message popped up on the screen saying a team member was on that way. Once they had come over all I was told was that these items can not be sold and simply took them to the front of the store and I left empty handed. They had all of them on display and fully stocked so I don't see the problem on why I couldn't purchase these items when they're on the shelves. Such a disappointment. read more

I would say no stars but it won't allow that. I would not recommend coming to this location. I have been going here for the last 10+ years. I never had a problem with any staff there. Today I was ringing my self at self check out. The lady (Fatima) was telling me I couldn't ring up, since my cart showed more than 10 items. I only had 6 items and my mom had 8 items. She also used a different register than I did. The register I had was having a card reading problem and I asked for help. The same lady came over and told me it was my fault and that if I didn't have so many items it wouldn't be like this. I don't think that made any sense. I asked for a manger cause she was yelling at me and I just wanted to check out and go home. The manager Lily was even more rude and didn't want to hear anything I had to say. So I canceled all my purchases today and took my business somewhere else. The customer service desk was very friendly and apologized, I felt bad for her since she might get the shit end of the stick for this company. I must say I was very impressed by this target. I've been to many target stores all over California and other states and this one is by far the best laid out. Super impressed by the displays throughout the stores that help define the sections you enter. The lighting is this store is very well done and boy do they have this down to get you to impulse buy. The clothing sections of this store is very well laid out and has a lot of variety. I was very impressed by there toy display. Really catches your eye and was very well organized. The food section was small compared to some other San Jose stores but had a nice flow. The bathrooms were a bit gross - smelled when you walked in, the floors were dirty and several toilets were um....gross and I'll leave it at that. The staff, very helpful. I called on the phone initially before I went there to check if a product was in stock. They answered and were very polite and helped. When I went into the store they had planets of employees up front to help which was great. Overall very happy with the staff and there willingness to help. Overall great target branch. read more

I frequent this target often and I am generally pleased. However, lately every time I come in the workers that are in the isles doing the shopping for the pick up service are very rude! They run up and down the isles with those carts and just push their way through an reach and grab things in front of you. At least say excuse me or something! This location makes me wish Target didn't exist. It's my go to location and has been for five years and I have never spent less than 20 minutes waiting for a cashier. They have installed self check out but it cannot tolerate sales, target gift cards or coupons. I am thifty so paying above sale price is not an option. Sunday January 3rd they had a total of TWO real people cashiers. It was so rough, all that waiting. When cashiers finally came to rescue the giant lines of customers, they took the customers from the end of the current lines, helping those who waited the least amount of time first. This is always a great store with short lines and everything in stock. Plenty of parking, too. I give it five for the pharmacy today. It's New Year's Day and I arrived 4 minutes before closing to pick up a prescription.... I'm not usually THAT lazy, but l'm leaving on vacation tomorrow. 'turns out, I never called it in. The person in the pharmacy was really, nice and filled the prescription right there at that moment. She said, "Hang out here, I'll do it right now". She did! BAM! It's ok as Target's go. I like that they're open until 11pm or midnight (can't recall exactly).. it comes in handy, for example, when I realized I had an early meeting and no commuter mug (I had thrown the old one away). I was able to rush down there and get one and save my own ass. Hah. I do hate that all the Target stores have bright florescent lighting in their makeup department. It makes it difficult to see the real color of anything due to the reflection off the packaging. They're also always out of false eyelashes. Other than that.. I'm not mad at it. read more
