Bought a $400 Vizio TV two weeks ago. Couldnt return right away because I was in the middle of moving - finally plugged in the TV to learn it was a defective TV, audio didn't work properly. Didn't have a receipt (which is not an uncommon issue, Best Buy can give me a duplicate within seconds). I had the card which I bought it with and the bank statement with the transaction. They couldn't find the transaction in their system and only gave me store credit. Fine by me, made the return, bought a new TV that day, this time a Samsung. Brought it home, TV wouldn't even turn on. Troubleshooted with Samsung directly and they said it was a defective TV and I needed to return. I understand this is not the staffs fault at Target, but they can't even give me my money back or even act like they understand why this situation is frustrating. They actually expect me to buy a TV here again and keep lugging these enormous TVs back and fourth? The whole point of superstores that are worth billions is to have OUTSTANDING return policies. Now it's my fault their system can't find my purchase and I'm shrugged off by management like an annoyance. Shopped at this Target my whole life and have spent thousands of dollars at this branch and it all means nothing. Never shopping at target after this. read more

Honestly had a terrible experience today with the cashier. She literally displayed zero customer service. Very rudely shouted if I needed bag. My cart had so many items. How as I going to carry it out. I nodded my head yes. The cashier went on to have zero interaction besides having a very angry look on her face towards me. And was disturbingly kind to the customer behind me that was seemingly a regular. Which gave me the impression that my money had no value. I don't want to say it was a racist interaction as the cashier is Hispanic and I am Bi-racial but it sure felt like a racist interaction. The customer behind me was an older white lady whom the cashier was really nice to and the customer in front of me was an older white man whom the cashier was really nice to. It also made me question why the role has reversed with customer's now needing to have the "Customer Service". Definitely was the worst experience thus far. She made a point that my presence was not wanted. read more

I'd met a friend at the shopping center and after he left, I went into Target. After all, how can you resist Target? They're two or three steps above that other place, and they're usually friendly and helpful. This location had a floorplan unlike most of their stores, with the grocery near the entrance. Usually, I find the clothes near the entrance and the grocery at the opposite end. I also noticed that there was zero Spanish, unlike most stores in the country. Maybe strangely, being in the middle of a trip, where I'd driven 2400 miles, I wanted to buy an extra anti-perspirant, just in case. So, I looked for it with the shaving supplies, as it is in every other Target--it wasn't there but along the back wall for some inexplicable reason. Maybe, Californians know to hide the anti-perspirant along the back wall? I'd think they'd be hiding the doughnuts and other goodies back there! In any case, I found what I wanted and headed for the check out. There were several registers in operation but no express lanes whatsoever. Check out didn't take a long time, thankfully, but it seemed unusual. I guess the further from Minneapolis you are, the more different they do things. read more

The new store remodel is nice. However it is still frustrating to see employees walking with heads down rather than at customers or 2of them in a corner talking and on phones....service people. Service. Personal phones are not necessary to do the work. Parking is fairly good. Avoid getting groceries at end of day....especially yogurt...the selection is usually very minimal. The store is not as good as it used to be. For instance, I noticed you can no longer exchange a sale item for a similar item (like changing a shampoo scent) after the sale has ended without being expected to pay the price difference. If the bar codes are different, forget about it! Makes no difference if they were both on sale earlier, having the same exact regular and sale prices. They can't help you by adjusting the price at the register. They used to always be able to do that without any issues. Another issue I noticed is being a member of Target Circle and purchasing Circle sale items. For example, I added a sale item to my account Saved List in my Wallet. At the self checkout register, I scanned that sale item, then scanned my Circle Bar Code from my cell phone but the discount was not given. It was identical to one of the eligible sale items listed and the sale was still on. I ended up only using my Circle Earnings since I didn't have time asking a cashier about this. I returned later with my receipt to ask a service rep about what happened. She didn't know why I didn't get the discount but said she could return the item, re-ring it to reflect the savings, but I would loose the entire amount of the Target Earnings I originally had and applied. That's an absurd offer considering the Earnings applied was more than the sale discount I should have also received in the first place. I naturally declined. A similar thing happened the next day when again, a Circle sale item that's in my Wallet did not give me the discount owed. This time I did not leave the register. I asked a cashier about this and she was dismayed, too, trying to figure it out. She ultimately was kind enough to punch the discount into the register manually. Bottom line is, always be certain of the sale items you're purchasing and what you are truly paying. Target hopes we'll either accept or not notice their deceptive ways. read more

Not the largest Target or even nicest one I've been to, but has all the essentials. I like how i can check inventory online before heading over. Place was recently remodeled and is one of the nicer ones. Place can get pretty busy, so i keep my non-essential shopping to late nights. Plenty of parking around 10pm. Place is open late (summers - midnight) which is a plus. The employees are generally pretty warm and helpful when searching for random items. This target is a-ok in my book. read more

Went into the store at 11:15p knowing they close at midnight. I was picking up some quick items so no need for a cart or making anyone stay late waiting on me. Several associates all over the floor as it was inventory/stocking time for the staff. Still they were generally pleasant and one in particular was super friendly considering the late hour. I basically tour all the Targets of south bay as a weekly consumer because it is super convenient to have a big box retailer with brands you are generally familiar. That being said, this location is definitely one of the better Targets in south bay / greater San Jose / Santa Clara county, based primarily on in stock items and store display/layout. This target is underwhelming. Even though it just got remodeled fairly recent it still feels dirty and disorganized. Doesn't have as good merchandise as other stores in my opinion and always seems picked over and messy compared to other stores with nice displays and more options. read more

This Target does curbside pickup very well. My orders are ready in 1-2 hours and the employees deliver them to me promptly. Unfortunately, in-person visits are chaotic sometimes. The return lanes were busy, so my sister and I had to wait awhile to be seen. Overall, this Target is pretty good. read more

The front smells really musty and stale when you walk in....even at the first of the day. Yuck. He store is generally well stocked but the seasonal sectionals are always a little messy. Kids love running a to and the store...but so do other kids. Navigating carts is a chore sometimes. read more

It was a scary male voice ...very deep sounding like the villain from candy man. Near the school supplies even. Redesign was a complete waste of money because the customer service at this locations is the WORST. They've removed the phones to purposely make it IMPOSSIBLE to get assistance. And there are NO associates on the floor. Came to the store for an item that was on ad this week. Couldn't find it on the floor so tried the tablets which said there were 10 on the floor. There was zero inventory on the floor so I tried to find an associate for assistance. The ONE associate I was able to find refused to help because he "was on lunch break" and told me to use the tablet to call someone. The problem? There's NO WAY TO CALL SOMEONE FROM THE TABLET. Frustrated, I called the store and hit "9" for help. I explained to the woman that I was in-store and needed help at Aisle B64. SHE HUNG UP ON ME MID-SENTENCE! Shocked, I called back again, but this time I hit "2" for guest services. SAME THING HAPPENED! The jerk associate "Ken" HUNG UP ON ME as soon as I said that I was in-store and needed assistance. At that point, my blood was boiling so I went to the front of the store and asked for a manager. He looked completely bored and said he didn't manage that part of the store and that he'd heard this had been happening to other guests. Apparently this store doesn't care to address the issue. Between the filthy conditions at the Oakridge store and the rude, sub-par service at this location, I'm over it. Closing my Target card and sticking to Amazon same-day delivery. read more

I purchased a Nintendo switch game (Download Card) and was sent back and forth between target and Nintendo. Both saying they couldn't help me, the issue being that when purchasing I wasn't aware that the code would be on the receipt and wasn't informed by anyone it would be. I went here this evening for deodorant and flushable baby wipes (for my kids). I came home with new yoga pants (I'm officially in my 30s for even buying these), a dress, ice cream, bowls, plates, and a towel that was on clearance. Did I need any of this stuff? Nope! Will my armpits stink tomorrow because I am all out of SECRET deodorant? Yep! Will my son clog the toilet with a planet size wad of toilet paper because he doesn't have wipes? Abso-freakin-lutely! Why TARGET!? Why... are you so darn good at making us spend more than we need to? and I am not alone when it comes to spontaneous shopping at Target. I noticed the people in front of me in line as well, stating; "why am I even buying this Dyson vacuum? We really don't need it, but the box says its really good at picking up cat hair!" Another thing I noticed tonight at Target that was mind blowing to me is that Target appears to be the only place teenagers are comfortable enough to buy condoms and skittles at the same time. What is so mind blowing about this is... this was not the first time I have seen a teenager buying an odd mixture of items at Target. One time I saw a guy & girl buying a pregnancy test and a king sized Snickers bar (true story). Maybe that was for the girl, just in case she began to PMS a few days after a negative result? So, from mothers like myself, and the condom buying, candy eating, pregnancy test takers everywhere... Target, we solute you. I called to speak with customer service four times and nobody answered, and when they did once, they hung up on me. I walked into the store to speak with someone from the apparel department and no employees around to help me. I ask the clerk at the Returns department to call someone on his walkie and nobody responded to him either. Came to my local Target finally, as I was ready to do some Black Friday shopping! My usual Cupertino location was way too packed at 9 PM on Thursday, so came here at 7:00 AM on Friday. Surprisingly, it was very quiet, and they still had a lot of doorbuster items that I expected to be gone. Review for Target Pharmacy: This pharmacy is the worst. They are beyond slow. If you are waiting for your prescription to be filled, give them a couple hours to fill it even if your doctor sends it over. Hopefully, you aren't sick when this happens. Not only are they slow, they are unaccomodating. I have had to make numerous trips back to this pharmacy because the pharmacist was out, prescription not ready, or prescription out of stock. I can take an inconvenience once in a while but not when it happens all the time. While it was convenient to shop and pickup my prescription, I can no longer give my business to a pharmacy who continually inconveniences me. read more

I stopped by the Target on Story road, looking for a particular Vaseline deal (bundle of x3 25oz for $1.48). Providing the product dpci #, I was told no Target had it other than the Cambrian Target (quantity x36). Being that it was 10:20pm I quickly drove there. I got there and asked employee (Ryan) for help. He was very nice and made efforts to locate it but was unable to. He spoke with employee (Marisa) who said the inventory was incorrect but that said that I could purchase individual ones and they would honor the price. Great! I went to purchase it, equivalent to 20 bundles (60 individual 25oz Vaseline) explaining it to the customer service. She verified with Marisa and called over the manager to try to honor it, but then another employee (Michael) steps in and said that he's not going to honor it because he was only limiting the purchase to 3 bundles--well, Marisa never said anything about a limit! I needed to purchase 4 bundles for a $5 Gift Card. Michael blatantly said the deal was only available online, apparently in an effort to end the conversation. Arguing with him was pointless, it was late so I said forget it and left. Mostly upsetting was that I have never had a Target employee blatantly lie to my face; Michael would be the first. If product shows-up in store inventory, it would qualify for the $5 gift card. Like many other shoppers, I purchase products because of the promotion. Don't get we wrong, I love Target. The exception would be the Cambrian one, especially because of employees like Michael who will not hesitate to lie to you blatantly. read more

I stopped an employee and asked to for a price he then called the manager vic i believe his name was. They both were patient and helped me find the price it did take some time but they were so sweet and good conversationalist. Love this target. read more

This place is another Target crap-chute. Sadly, this is one of the more run-down Targets I've been to lately. I'm spoiled by the North 1st Street Target that is brand new and shiny. Isles are crowded and people are pushy. All items we looked for were found but the packaging (for the most part) is beat the hell up. WTF? The 24-Hour Fitness next door creates tons of parking lot traffic. Not only is this parking lot poorly made but people are cramped into it like sardines. Then they have a Starbucks and Payless Shoes in the same plaza = traffic, traffic, traffic. My experience here was meh but when I went to the check out counter, I asked the man at the register to put half on my debt card and half on my boyfriend's card. We were buying emergency prep items and wanted to split the costs... I go through the card reader prompts and when the screen came up as "do you want to put it all on one card?" - I clicked "no" because I wanted to split the bill. When I asked the guy what the half amount of this bill was he answered $XX.XX. I'm like cool he knows we want to split the bill right? WRONG. This dude SCOLDS me as to why I'm pressing the wrong buttons and why I don't want to pay this full amount... I "listened" to his prompt only to find out that he carded the full amount only on my card. He said sorry as soon as we were leaving... Figures. Dumb-ass workers and shitty parking. No thanks. Find another Target to do your shopping at because this one does not make the cut at all. read more

5 solid stars for their customer service! They really take care of their customers here.... Got my Wii Fit at this Target and was impressed with the customer service. Called in around 6:20 am to find out if they had any in stock and the guy on the phone was courteous, told me they had limited supply and there was already a small line outside, so best to come on by. I quickly got dressed and got here (about a 5 min drive) to find a flock of people already in line. At about 7am, the guy came out to inform us they had about 24 Wii Fits available and were handing out tickets. I was ecstatic and relieved to be one of the lucky 'golden ticket' holders. Even though we got tickets, people were still standing in line...and the guy came back out a bit later asking if anyone wanted coffee? I was pleasantly surprised two guys walked out with two two trays, one for the coffee, and the other for condiments (sugar/cream), talk about SERVICE! They came out a couple more times to hand out tickets to newcomers and one of the guys even stood outside chatting with the early uppers at the head of the line. From my experience at other Targets, most of them would not give you the time of day or rudely respond on the phone of no help. Everytime I've called to ask about something, the people would take the time to actually check up and get back to me. The security lady here is also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a great experience getting my Wii here, met some interesting (but friendly) people in line and would definitely be coming back! read more

Clean store and most staff work there are nice, I shop here almost every week, never have problem. And this location now open store till 12 pm, really helpful for busy people, now I can shop at late night with out wait in long line to check out. read more
