They are ripping you off! They stock items on shelf at one low price then at check out, price is higher and they hope you just don't notice or that you won't mind paying more than what they have listed on the shelf as the price. I have been told at check out that "a customer probably put it back in the wrong spot" really, a customer re-stocked a WHOLE SHELF!?? or "You need to read the barcode" WTH? No, your paid employees need to stock the shelf right, price the item correctly and CHANGE IT WHEN A CUSTOMER TELLS YOU THAT YOU ARE OVER CHARGING AT THE REGISTER! So many items have no price, you have to walk around with an item to find a price machine and once you find one it is not working or it comes up as "item not found." This is one of the worst stores! When they have all their "SALE" tags up read them, some are only 5 cents off, that is NOT A SALE, barely considered a discount! Target in general has higher prices than most. When they ask if you want a Red Card to save 5%? lol! what a joke at 5% "savings" it doesn't even make the items regular price at other stores. They don't care about prices being wrong on shelf and charging you more at the register so why would you even let this company have access to your bank account? Save 10% instantly by shopping somewhere else. I now only go here when I have 1 or two items to get in a rush on my way home from work. Management doesn't care and the employees certainly don't care, they just work there they are not paid to do anything about a complaint or actually have someone make a correction. Tell them at checkout the correct price and they have to give it to you at that price they have it listed for on the shelf! I received an advertisement in the mail stating that roasted and salted pistachios in a 20 OZ. bag were on sale for a special 3 day period. I thought to myself ..."Self... that sounds like a good deal; you should drop by to get them and do some late Christmas shopping as well." When I arrived the first thing I noticed was the massive amount of people waiting in line. Despite the fact that there were about 20 registers in the store, only about 4 were opened. When I asked the person stocking shelves where the pistachios were he told me that they "must be sold out" Talk about bait and switch! Sheesh. I neglected to do anymore shopping due to this and the horrendous lines. read more

We got excellent service from Donald at Register 10. Often, we encounter staff who look (and worse, act) like they don't want to be there. They are often in attentive, short (nice way of saying rude), and I engaged. So it was a great pleasure to have a person like Donald wait on us. I go to this Target because it is a lot closer to my home. I like it here because I pretty much get everything I need here. My cashier the other day Isaiah, was very helpful to me. I was so confused with my transaction because I had multiple gift cards, but he was very patient with me. The only thing that bothers me honestly is, their restrooms here are always messy. WORST customer service ever!!!!!!! Chris the manager and GEORGE (I believe he's a supervisor) are both clueless, unprofessional and should not be in management at all. I tried to get them both to help after being treated badly a couple of women in guest services. There's a couple girls that gave attitude , but this one gem in her late teens early 20s perhaps, think her name was Bianca outshines then all! Even an elderly lady was complaining about her as well, she called her a "bad apple" ( so she's rude to old people too! ) WOW shame on Target for allowing their employees to be so horribly unprofessional!!!!!!! GEORGE is quite frankly the most rude person have ever encountered at a target store. ever !!!!!! Sha and victor are the only 2 worth going to see. I opened up a case about it through corporate it was that horrible. On the day it happened, I talked to Chris the manager " I need to call the lines I need to watch the lines, and shuffled off an angry employee on a lower level timid kind worker.... And then they took her out and moved her so I had to deal with a whole other person and explain what happened and then they refused to do my refund it was a mess!!!! I guess making sure they are making money over their customers being happy is where the priorities are right now. Attempted to talk to George afterwards trying to complain about the two women that were being very rude and he called me a liar!!!!!! I don't know if it's because he's fraternizing with the employees ... I hate to pull that card but he was back there with four of the girls why does he need to be there when there's no line just to raise a voice to a customer that's 51 to make himself look good?! I regret selecting this target for a job. I was naive to think that they would hire a disabled girl even if they need workers. A girl in a wheelchair shouldn't have applied. Target is probably my favorite store on earth. It is actually more of a destination than a store. And this location doesn't disappoint. I just moved near this location so I come here a lot. There is plenty of parking and their shopping carts are usually well stocked. When we came for Black Friday, everything was really organized and there were actually less people then when I usually come to shop. My only pet peeve is the shoe area, they need to keep a designated person on shoes at all times because customers are really messy and they just leave the shoes they try on everywhere. It just makes it so hard to find what you are looking for. And you have to walk over tons of shoes and move them just to try and get your cart down the aisle. Other than that, this place is perfect. I go to this Target about once a week for groceries and whatnot because it's right up my alley. It's too bad this one isn't that great. This is a fairly new Target, so it's pretty clean. However, looks can be deceiving. First of all, they have a very limited selection of products. There have been multiple times where I go in thinking I'm going to buy something, but then walk out empty-handed because they either don't have it or they're out of stock. Another reason why this Target blows is because I have bought EXPIRED food here on more than one occasion. On this one particular trip, I bought a bag of Hostess chocolate donuts (one of my favorites, don't judge) and when I got home I took a bite out of one and OH. MY. GOSH. It tasted like I ate a year old gym sock. When I looked in the bag, there was mold growing. Long story short, I went back and got a refund (although the customer service was not up to par), and went to the snack section to look for not expired donuts. Unfortunately, they were ALL expired. One of them as old as August 2015 and this incident happened February 2016. Almost a year those donuts have been on the shelf! I had to look for an employee and tell them because I didn't want anyone else to go through the pain and suffering that I did. I found a worker in the produce section and she told me that the venders are the ones who restock and take down expired foods. I always check expiration dates now. read more

Not pet friendly. After various trips with explicit permission that we were allowed to bring a pet in, I was greeted by a representative saying that pets are not allowed in the store. BEWARE OF RIP OFFs. HIGHEST PRICES IN THE AREA. Completely took me by surprise. This Target has prices way above other Target in cosmetics items. What's more, their prices are even higher than Walgreens and certainly higher than the MSRP on the web. Sure, the sale prices are advertised so they are the same. I do not know whether prices in other categories are also marked up. Someone should make the comparison. I didn't see anything cheaper than at other Target stores. L'Oreal cosmetics items that are marked at $10.99 in the Holger Way's Target store (4 miles away) as well as online are marked for $13.79 at this new Santa Clara store. I thought I made a mistake but when I returned, the item was marked UP to $14. The MSRP on L'Oreal online is $12.99 I think that management at this new store is trying to mark up most items so that they can get the sales figures they need to make for a new Target store. Very sad for customers and until they get rid of this management style, I cannot trust this store. I was really looking forward to liking the new Target. It's a cookie cutter Target, built like a lot of the other one's in the area. There's nothing really wrong with this Target. It's kept clean and is relatively new. The major thing to note about this Target is how early it closes compared to other Targets. There's a good amount of parking here which is good and a few other market's and restaurants nearby. It's in a convenient spot and a good Target for the neighborhood and anyone passing through. read more

This is the dirtiest Target ever, I hate that I have no choice but to come by for certain things I don't know where else to buy, literally only the old Safeway that's been around for 20 years if not longer is the only place including gas stations with worse bathrooms. The entire store is so dirty and gross. It's not fun to shop there anymore and everything on shelves is often a mess and broken. It's really frustrating the condition the store is in. read more

I really like Target and that's why I'm giving it two stars but I deducted three stars because the wheels on the cart lock at such a short distance. My car was parked to the right of target and as I was rolling my cart of stuff, including big bulky items, the cart locked in the middle of the street!! I was stuck with the cart in the street! The distance that you can go with the cart is very limited. They need to expand the distance the carts can go by another 200 feet. I ended up having to walk from my cart to the car several times to get my stuff to the car. The cart ended up staying in the street because I couldn't move it. That is disappointing. read more

I like this location. Line never gets too long and the customer service is pretty good. Had a very good experience today. Staff was very professional and friendly. Had 2 employees help me one in beauty and one at self check out. I can say the employees are very patient and willing to help the customers. This place is usually a disaster and nothing is organized everything is a mess especially the shoe section and I don't know that usually they will have sales but the items will not ring up with the sales so be really careful to double check the prices and ask the employees to go check because half the time they don't believe you that those items are on sale read more

This Target is really large compared to others nearby. They have a larger selection of items that I don't normally see at other stores. The store was crowded however there were a lot of check stands open and there is a lot of space at the check stands so it didn't feel crowded. There are some vendors there and a DJ (during the soft opening) however I was hoping to stumble across some deals but there were none. As everyone will say parking is really tight since there are tons of compact spots and given that people have a tough time parking I would suggest parking near Sprouts or towards the back to avoid any unwanted dents in your car. read more

They ask you to use self checkout but when you try to use mobile gift cards, it just doesn't allow you to pay and you go back to regular checkout. not sure why can't they just put a notice board that self checkout doesn't work with mobile gift cards. read more

I am updating my previous review to share that this store posted a sign at the entrance stating the dog policy (only working service dogs allowed). Not sure when this sign was posted, but I recently went to this store after months of boycotting it and thought the surroundings were more organized and overall seemed cleaner. The improvements have made it more likely I will return to this Target store. read more
