I noticed some protein chips that I had not seen before at other stores, which is a great option for those looking for high protein foods. How about restocking? You have u- boats everywhere. I had to search for cat food on one but was out of stock. Finally found 3. That's a day supply if that. Bathroom was filthy. And when I came out my cart was gone and my stuff thrown on a chair. Do I bring the damn thing in with me next time? Should have since there were no carts in store. I got one when someone left. 45 mins later when I left with just the cat food there were still no carts. What are your employees doing?' Children's department was a mess and there wasn't much to pick from. Also there was only 1 register open with long lines. I usually don't shop in store but wanted to let my grand daughter pick out a back to school outfit and toy. I wont do in store shopping again. I will only do online shopping. This store gets 2 stars because on a Sunday afternoon when the store was crazy busy there was 1 line open and then the self checkout. The lines for both were LONG. Can Target not afford to have another couple of people on to have the checkout flow nicely? this review is about corp target. I changed my checking acct number when I switched banks and the first time I went into the store after doing that and my card was denied. I assumed I might have put acct number in wrong but nope. So I just used my cc. So I went into the store again like a week later and red card was good BUT then after a few days I noticed that charges didn't show up in my bank acct.So I called target customer service number and the person said before I could even talk I had to be aware that this call was an attempt to collect a debt!!! I was furious. So he explained that target has a glitch in processing new bank acts and to please give them 72 hrs to fix the issue. I had to give them the same info that was in the website . I had them process the debit charges which went thru my new bank acct. THEN I went into the store again and I thought everything was good . red card went thru no issues. Then again I noticed the charge wasn't done thru my bank again. Then I received a email saying to call. Well the same guy answered and I told him what happened again and his words were This call is an attempt to collect a debt!! I went off ..I told him he needed to help target get their crap together instead of blowing customers off. Im done with target.. Amazon is way better even customer service. The store could be more organized. There were minimal carts, and they were disgustingly dirty. Only ONE register was open, with lines. It's time to get it together or fold it up. My daughter went into the Taunton location this morning and was told to leave by a male employee because of her t-shirt. He approached her and asked her to put on a sweatshirt, which she obviously didn't have because it's 80 degrees outside. He then told her she had to leave. I attempted to reach out to customer service who said that's not their policy and they'd "deal with it" however I won't know that it's been resolved or receive an apology for anonymity reasons. I just spoke with a manager about an hour ago about the condition of this store. I've never seen any store that looks like this one, with clothing strewn all over the place, racks, shelves and floors. I was planning on shopping there, but the conditions were so poor that I left. He told me it's a staffing issue. I said regional or national management needs to find a way to pay enough to attract personnel. I was also thinking that instead of being in the back doing whatever he was doing - maybe accounting for new shipments - he and the other two employees who were either behind the service counter or standing near the entrance doing not sure what? could have been inside straightening current stock and thus making it more likely that it will get purchased. These disgraceful conditions are also on the people who shop at the store. I'm a native of Taunton, and just because we're a working-class town doesn't mean people need to act classless and like they were raised in caves. I just visited the Taunton Ma Target, it was a very rainy day out. When I arrived in the store , there wasn't a single shopping cart in the store, so this was a problem for me and several other customers that arrived at the same time. Unsanitary and lack of product. Avoid this store like the plague, because you'll probably get it there. Only one stall in the women's bathroom had toilet paper. Only one sink with a stool and that sink doesn't work. The shelves are bare, all of the bottles of bubble bath were leaking causing a huge mess that was clearly there for a while; the little product they do have is all over the place or damaged. Then at check out we opted to go in line with a cashier because my daughter loves the target dog stickers only to be told they didn't have any, SURPRISE!! This is the single most disgusting Target I have ever been to. It always looks like a bomb has gone off. Shelves and racks look like they have not been organized since they were first setup. And don't even try to find a pair of shoes... the monsters that are the customers have shuffled everything around and the employees have done nothing to re-merchandise the areas. In fact the last time I was in the store, there was a pack?, gang?, group? of young teenagers riding bikes around the store sweeping entire shelves of goods onto the floor. Much to my surprise, all Target stores are not equal!! Hubs and I stopped here on Target Run Sunday, when the chain was offering 10% off, figuring this was the perfect time to spend some cash on both standard necessities and some essentials for the baby I've been working on for the last eight months. In terms of the big ticket stuff, we walked in knowing we needed a crib and a vacuum cleaner... not exactly a super fun trip to begin with, but 10% off is a decent motivator. On the way through Target, my first stop was in the beauty section, as I'm 90% out of my Cerve facial cleanser. I walked the aisles looking for it- this product line is divided up into two aisles because there are so many options for lotions and cleansers that they can't keep things stocked together by vendor, apparently. I finally find the item, and there's literally one bottle left- I pick it up, and it's sticky and coated with product that's either been spilled out, or has leaked out. K... I guess I'll buy this the next time I'm at the supermarket? I leave it behind. We start walking around the store, and it's not all that busy or full, but I notice that the place is just a little grimy around the edges. We find the baby section, and the signage on the cribs tells us to find an employee. I saw a price scanner thing and phone nearby so I used that to call someone. The phone itself was a dusty old relic... it was honestly kinda gross. It made me wonder what kinds of germs you can pick up using a payphone- probably nothing serious, but for real, occasionally wiping something down is the cheapest way to keep a store looking nice. The employees who helped with the crib were nice, and they found the item we needed, elevating this review from a one star to a three. Then we looked at the vacuums... oh man. There was a big display that had all the models out at shoulder height, with signage underneath that showed model names and prices. Other than that, there was basically no information on the features or benefits of any of the 15-20 vacuum cleaners, which ranged in price from $40-300. I don't pretend to be great at adulting, so I'm not embarrassed to tell you that this is the first time I've bothered to price out or look at vacuum cleaners. I'm 35 years old. I rent, and prefer hard surface floors. My new spot has some wall-to-wall carpeting. I am not excited about purchasing, owning, or using a vacuum cleaner. I came armed with a recommendation for a good model, only to find that the price of that model at Target was about $40 more than on Amazon. Not an awesome start. All of the vacuums looked huge, and it was honestly difficult to tell the difference between the options. The only common feature or claim I could discern was that some of them had a sticker on them that read "NEVER LOSES SUCTION", which seemed to be something you want in a vacuum. My spouse and I stood there for ten minutes or so, trying to figure it out, and after doing some Googling of customer reviews, decided on a $100 Dirt Devil only to find that the one available to us on the sales floor was in a filthy, dinged and dented box that looked like it'd been dragged here from the distribution center. K... maybe we'll just buy the one on Amazon?? Or hope someone gets this off the registry for us?? All in all, we were left with the impression that this Target isn't the best. The staff was nice enough, once we sought someone out, but we clearly could have used more help than we were able to find, and the overall condition of the place makes me wonder if they're too short-staffed to keep things clean and well-maintained. In the future, I'll head to Easton or Abington locations instead. read more

Targets in Taunton is a great place to work, the people are very considerate of all their employees and guests. We clean every day all day every part of the store. Employees wear masks to ensure the safety of all. At time of crisis it brings out the good as well as the bad in people but Targets keeps a positive attitude through out, and we love working as well as helping our guests of all ages. Rude, unprofessional photo staff (Karen). I visited Target to pick up digital prints that should have been ready. After waiting for quite some time, I had to seek out the staff (Karen 12/18/17 @5pm) who was not attentive at all at the photo desk. She then proceeded to bash Kodak for not having a working photo device. She made snide comments, was unprofessional, and then walked away when I told her I didn't care about that, but what could be done. I will not visit the Taunton Target again! read more

They have everything you need imaginable. Shelves are always nicely stocked and employees/management are always eager to help you find what you're looking for. Did I mention there's a Starbucks? Have always had a good experience at Target, until Yesterday! I went to the store about 8:45am to order last minute holiday cards, went to the kiosk, ordered them and took my receipt. I went back at about 2:30 PM, went to the photo counter, waited 30 minutes to have someone ask me if I needed assistance. The first young man clearly did not work in this department but he tried to help, after a few minutes he got another gentleman involved who was also trying to help and could not find my order. He then had me re-place the order, so I did, I now have two receipts and no product. Finally a older, large, rough looking very unfriendly woman showed up who clearly was the "photo person" I gave her my last name and all she told me over and over was "nope, nothing here for ya" she repeatedly asked me for my last name, I gave it to her each time, she was far too concerned about talking to co-workers that were stopping by her area talking about their holiday plans vs. helping a customer. She never tried to actually SOLVE my problem, she could have cared less. The fact that there was not a person of authority around at all, not once did someone try to get anyone to assist to actually solve this issue is beyond me. Further more I am not sure what the hiring practices are for target, but it is obvious that your standards are low to non-existent, otherwise no one would have put this creature in a position where she had to ever see or speak to the public. Went into their Plymouth location and purchased a set of cooking pans. Of course forgot something and had to stop in Taunton on my way home. I saw another set that I liked better while I was there that they did not have in the Plymouth location. I decided to go out to my car and bring in the other set and return it for an exchange for a more expensive set. They refused my return saying that they could not do a return from another store on the same day. I have never heard of this from any other company I have purchased from especially as large a chain as Target. I decided to keep the cheaper set. Too bad they would have doubled their sale. I am more selective about purchases made there now. I rarely return things anyway, maybe 1-2 times a year. I will just treat them as if nothing can be returned and it will certainly affect my spending there.
