went here for with my son apparently vid con just happened. My sons friends got this toy ball called mini verse. Apparently they got recalled. Me nor my son had no idea, so we went to target on azusa and got two of the balls. Went to checkout and was told that these were no longer for sale. Both me and my son were disappointed in the end. Just saw that they are coming out with new balls soon and just saved myself $15 so good for me bad for my son! Overal experience one star, if something is recalled and its obvious to all the workers get up and go take them off the shelf's don't be relaxing drinking Starbucks with your friends. (And it was obvious all the workers new they were recalled when our cashier asked everyone said oh yeah I wasn't able to sell those to a customer the same warring came up. This Target location is located in the corner of the same plaza as The Home Depot on Azusa. Entering this plaza is way easier than exiting. I am not a fan of the layout of the parking lot, since it disrupts the flow of traffic. However, with that being said, this location is one of the bigger Target locations in the area. It feels like I am walking forever just to get to one end of the store; but with a bigger store, more products on the shelves, hence a better selection. I rarely shop in this store but I'll stop by if it's on the way and need to buy something. Have used "Store Pick-Up" once and "Self Checkout" a few times. If you do shop here on a weekday morning, they only had 1 cashier open and no "Self Checkouts" open so it may take a bit longer to get in and out of the store. Overall, it is a Target so the service and products are to be expected. Prices are always very reasonable. read more

This is my first time at target in this area and I wanted to stop and get some flowers and candy as a gift tthe only problems I picked up the Bouquet and they were in bucket of water and had no plastic bags to wrap around the bottom it was dripping all over my cart and the store . I was disappointed .it's not that hard to add plastic wraps Near The bouquets . dripping water all over the store it's not safe for others. Or the staff. Starbucks dining area is filled by Target employees on break. I used to be a Target employee and I know there is a break room. They need to save those seats for the customers. Then, a secret shopper security follows you because you have a backpack on. Stupid fool didn't know I had my backpack on because I was gonna do my papers for school and work. Came here with my little brother looking for a fly swatter since there are a lot of flies flying around our house and its annoying as heck. Didn't know where to look and noticed an associate named Sammy(she's pretty), I asked her where the fly swatter was and she told me to stay where I was and that she will look for them, was standing around for like 5 minutes until she came back and said "its at the back wall of B" and was pointing to the back, and my brother and I were looking towards the back and could not find the fly swatters and we kept looking around. Then I found another associate (Didn't catch her name) and asked where they were, then she took out some device and then she told me they are on aisle B43, then we went to the B aisle the B aisle ends on B42 and there is no B43! WTF?! and we kept looking around for a B43 but there was no B43. So now onto the third associate (didn't catch her name too) and asked where the fly swatters were and seemed like she was talking on the radio and had heard about some guy looking for a fly swatter and had told me that they do not sell those at Target. and I told her that two associates had just told me they were on Aisle B and she insisted and stated that they used to carry them and now they do not sell them. If that was the story in the first place, then why the eff did they leave me astray twice???I had wasted 20 minutes looking for something they did not even store on top of their associates telling me its at this section or that side... I basically just dropped the things that I had on my hand to buy and just walked out of the store too and passed by Sammy on my way out she looked at me and sees no fly swatter on my hand, ohh...of course, they don't stock those. My family and I go to this Target A LOT. I mean, literally a lot, probably 4-8 times a week since this Target is so close to where we live and I keep forgetting to write a review that the lines at this location suck. They do not have enough registers open to accommodate their customers. 80% of the time, I would have to wait a long time and the other 20% is short. I also notice the young workers that work here seem to not even care. Come on, don't be like Walmart where they just hire whoever they can to work for cheap. The workers represent Target and should be act like it too. This is the second time that an item was listed wrong here and employees do not seem to handle it very well.. The first time a bamboo store case was labeled for 5, I was told at the register it was $20 and not on sale. The second time was today and I picked out a sweater and beanie for my son since he does a lot of back and forth between his dad and I. At the register I was told they the items I picked weren't supposed to be out on the sales rack yet. Two out of the four items I had to put back after searching in the store for quite some time. I got sold a Roku but the remote was not working so I had to waste my time and gas to go back to the store, I was told that it was on sale when I purchased it and that I would have to pay 10 bucks more to exchange it. So I received i gift card only to be told that they would not give me the original price as promised. I'm sorry to say I don't love Target as much any more. Years ago, when this store first opened, everything was great, the employees were kind, courteous and helpful. It's sad to see that this store has gone to hell...even with recent renovation, the feel of shopping here is not as pleasant as before. Year after year, more and more rude, incompetent, uneducated and irresponsible employees show up. I've had quite a few unpleasant occurrences here and all because of the people that work there makes it difficult to continue loving Target! I wonder if the corporate office even cares about how poorly they behave and serve customers. Is it just a necessary head count they keep, rather than competent individuals?! I tried not to name names but unfortunately this lady (and term is used loosely), "Valerie" definitely tried me one time too many and needs to be retrained, or TRAINED! She has a big mouth and lack comprehension. Last year a manager already told me she'd address some issues with her, but who knows what happened behind close doors, after all, they are all on the same team. At the time that manager told me in the future, ask for a higher up manager should I need to do "more complex transactions". The complex transaction I had her do was basic simple math. She couldn't even figure things out, got frustrated and acted like she was a victim. Why Target???Why Would you hire this type?? Unfortunately I had the opportunity of having to interact with her once again. Before I said anything as I approached the customer service counter, she already opened her big mouth and started to loudly recite "NOT TAKING RETURNS, EXCHANGES, REFUNDS." (Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic). I started to attempt to tell her what I needed...She could not stop her mouth from yapping the same words to interrupt me again. So I said "how do you know what I need/want? But actually, I want a manager to help me instead" recalling what they told me last year when she couldn't do simple math to ask for a manager. Then, her loud mouth opened up again and very rudely said, "Oh it's you, I remember you". I didn't say another word to her and asked another guy at the Dept. who was standing there for a manager. He just said I think she (Valerie) is getting someone. Damn, no one wants to do anything extra here! Finally, a "manager" for that time of the day came over. I explained what I needed and she processed it without giving me havoc, while I also told her how rude this "lady" was. Tracey (manager) assured me she'd address it with her. (Valerie). Whether she does or not, I'm sure this Valerie would still be the same person, same attitude, and the like in the future. I suggest if you ever get her and need more than a robotic checkout of your items, please do yourself a favor and get someone else to help you. Trust me, it will save you a whole lot of time! Very disappointed to have had so many foul encounters at this Target over recent years. Having to communicate with this "lady" certainly left a bad taste in my mouth again and again, and I'd now rather travel a bit farther to shop at another Target hoping for better experience! Side note- I've had the great luck of purchasing many expired groceries here. At one point, I was helping them sort all the expired canned goods while I shopped, and pointed out to them to take them down. I Called in to check if this location had any disinfecting wipes in stock. There was an automated prompt saying that general items were limited stock. So I was able to connect to a team member service employee. First off, they don't even state their name. In customer service always state your name when answering the phone. Because can't inform management if this employee is going beyond to help clients or if they aren't doing a great job. Secondly this same female employee was a bit rude trying to be nice. She said no they weren't stocked in wipes. I had asked how often they received shipment. She had the balls to state that staff weren't allowed to inform clients anything and that the automated system informed all this in the recording. In which the recording didn't state so. As she was saying this she sounded like she wasn't trying to laugh at me and also sounded sarcastic. I'm sorry but whomever she is has been a tad rude and inconsiderate and insulting. In times like these of a pandemic please be more sincere. Everyone is in need of any kind of product regardless. Employees don't know what clients need for their health or safety. I'm horrified that people can be this careless and inconsiderate and insulting. Please target staff be more considerate to your clients. How difficult is it to say I'm sorry we are not in stock but to try to go to the store early to check if we have whatever items in store. As of 4/25/20: it's been difficult to find any disinfectant wipes or sprays or bottles anywhere. And to see a target employee buy a single container of Clorox wipes is in a way depressing since everyone needs them. What irritates the most is that of the unknown if she's on the clock or on break purchasing this Clorox wipe. I don't blame her for buying it since it's needed but still I hope she was on break buying it. No manager is around to talk to them about it. Honestly, the elderly, high risk, pregnant women, truck drivers and healthcare employees should now be at priority to buy disinfectant wipes and bottles. My suggestion to target is to have half of their shipments strictly those specific people to have shown id and be able to get the most basic essentials of disinfectant items. Finally after two months of procrastination i'm finally writing this review. Maria in Customer Service was super awesome! She mentioned a coupon that saved me $100 when buying a car seat for my child. She didn't have to do this but she did. Some of the corporate execs would probably get mad at her for doing this but they should be thanking her instead. It's because of this I have chosen this Target to be my home target store even though it's out-of-the-way from another one. After last night, I couldn't wait to post a review on the TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service at guest services. First and foremost, most of those girls need to lose the attitude. It is my THIRD bad experience at guest services. THIRD. My first experience had to do with my baby registry. I had gone up to ask for a scanner and some older lady with dark hair (idek if she works there anymore since I haven't seen her) looked at me as if I was crazy and straight up told me "use your phone" in the rudest way possible. I honestly don't get it. Was the simple act of you reaching over and checking out a scanner to me .. THAT time consuming for you? Upon requesting it again... she refused to lend me one and said "your phone can do it. Download the app" and then walked away. The second experience had to do with returning onesies I received as gifts at my baby shower. The girl who helped me was this light skinned chubby older woman who had an attitude so bad, she even refused to scan some premature pants she claimed were not a target product. My sister calmly told her that we had scanned the item with the target app and it came up. She REFUSED and threw the pants back at us and said "this isn't target. I know it isn't target". She didn't even scan it. Finally my sister said "do you think you can scan it anyways because it's coming up on the app." She rolled her eyes, grabbed the pants and miraculously looked at us and said "oh yea. These are target. You're only going to get 1 dollar back for these." She was unhelpful and very rude. The last and final experience because I plan to call corporate was last night. I called the TArget at the eastland center before going up to this target because this target NEVER picks up any calls, I must have called five times to this target and never got picked up. Anyways I talked to a manager at the eastland center about their return policy on unopened boxes of diapers that have no receipts. The manager told me they could do an even exchange for diapers of the SAME BRAND if i want another size but if I wanted to change brand, they'd give me the lowest value and I'd have to pay the difference. I figured that's fair... and asked him if this policy was the same for all targets and he told me yes. So there I go last night with my HUGGIES to get another size... guess what? The dark girl with braces and long brown hair refused to do the even exchange, was unhelpful and said "they told you wrong. All I could give you is 3 dollars" she was also being rude to some lady who had been in front of me. Hey guest services, you SUCK. I give you no stars. All the girls there need to be fired. Absolutely horrible experience with the cashier Teresa today. I returned some items when I came in and got it on a gift card. I had a set amount. Of course I went over, so I asked her to take a few things off. Once I processed my card it still wasn't enough so I asked her to remove one more thing. She got an attitude because she already threw the gift card out in a pile with a bunch of others and couldn't find it. After about 5 minutes she just pays for the remaining amount (about $1.50) which I was grateful for. Then I had a WIC order, milk and cheese. The cheese had a WIC sign next to it but wasn't covered when I got to the register. I asked her to take it off. She started lecturing me about this is why I have to check the balance before I come to pay. (Like I didn't already). She looks at a coworker and steps away from the register saying she's not doing this and she's not paying for that. - nobody asked her to pay for $9 cheese? I didn't ask her to pay the balance on the first order? Why are you a cashier and don't know how to do a basic void? The security girl standing by the front doors knew how to void and she didn't. Maybe they should switch places since security knows how to work a register and the cashier has an aggressive attitude. Would've (and have) gotten better customer service at Walmart. Sad. read more

I love this target!! The managers at the front were super helpful when i had a problem with my card not going through their machine and the cashiers are also very kind and respectful. Everything is so organized and the workers also helped me fetch an item that i forgot to pick while i was already paying. I have been buying my father a lot of stuff at Target lately... Mostly on my own because he is extremely geriatric. I came to return a belt and a pair of pants but did NOT have the receipt; unfortunately, Dad tossed it out. No worries; Target lately has been bragging about their extended return timeline and policy. Had to give Target my ID even though I would rather not. They scanned my ID, scanned the pants and said I can get a store credit only. Again, not a problem, because I intend to shop there a lot in the next couple of weeks. However, they refused to take the belt back... It is new... Tagged... And their own brand (Good Fella ir so thing or other). Reason? They no longer sell it; you must have the receipt else we cannot give you a refund or store credit said the employee. Mind you, we're talking about $20-$30 worth of merchandise... All but insignificant! I guess I will not be shopping at Target in the next few weeks. Sad and petty return policy. I DO vote with my wallet. read more

TERRIBLE experience, I was accused of stealing. The security compared me to the homeless people who stole from them, their cashier lady called me "girlfriend" I'm not your friend we barely exchanged words, the worst part when I asked them to check they said I grabbed the item even after I showed the security the items I had and told him, "if this place had bags, this would have never happened" I was okay at first because I got my refund but when I got compared to homeless person "stealing" after spending $400+ at kohl's, it was embarrassing and degrading. Never again. Stick to the eastland center and less crowds with more professional people. Never been accused of stealing, that was the worst thing a person can do. I love Target, but when your trying to get your difference on a item that went on sale and their telling you need the serial # , but your telling them you've done this before and I tell them do you know what your doing. I get a hostile responds and then the manager tells me the same thing we need the serial #. The manager tells me call 1800 #. I see the same team member that was hostile with me as I was at self check out and is looking at me and standing a distance from me. What are you trying to do now, intimidating me. I call the 1800 # and problem solved in less then a minute. I didn't need serial # and was told could of been solved in store. What is Guest Services for? Maybe Target is not safe! read more

Really nice staff here! I encountered a couple nice guys near the electronics department that helped me hunt down an empty abandoned cart by the toy section. I couldn't fit all the Laugh and Learn dogs I was buying in one cart. Also, the buy one get one 50% off toy deal was going on when I visited today. I was able to buy a toy that was ON SALE for $15.19 (originally $22.99) and get a second one for 50% off. Pretty awesome and makes donating toys for Christmas that much sweeter. Their registers were really busy in the middle of the day, around 3pm. About 5 registers were open and they all had lines of 4 people at least. Parking is huge and this Target is pleasantly separated from the other big stores in this plaza. Warning: there are solicitors at this location, as well as homeless/beggars waiting by the exit. read more

FIRST! Just opened today at the still incomplete THE HEIGHTS shopping center in West Covina...so I dragged Jill here after the gym and our quick Subway lunch, and we fell instantly in love with this new store! Everything is so fresh and so clean...like a new car smell, but in a grander scale! They even have these futuristic looking shopping carts that rolled away pretty smoothly (i hate shopping carts with busted wheels). We walked around aimlessly admiring the well organized aisles and fresh merchandise. Then ended up losing each other and doing out own thing, haha... Oh and they also have a Starbucks inside for that added caffeine rush while filling up your shopping carts! Fully stocked and ready for business...and just around the corner from my house, so I officially claim this one MINE! gotta love Tar-Jaaaaay!!!! read more

So for those too young to remember this location was once upon a time the infamous BKK dump. Now where the landfill once was is a thriving shopping center (The Heights at West Covina) anchored primarily by this Target. This Target is convenient for me in terms of geographical proximity. The parking lot always has room compared to the other Targets in the area. I prefer this Target a little bit more than the other ones nearby (the one on Colima Rd and the one in the Eastland Center). I like that they are well stocked and clean. The checkout lines are usually short. There is a Starbucks and Pizza Hut inside. Many years ago (2009) I had an unpleasant experience at the photo center with a surly employee, so I don't recommend printing photos here. I usually come here for the occasional miscellaneous items - deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, shaving cream, etc. I also keep an eye out for Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon cards as well as Power Rangers merchandise as they sometimes have new releases and good deals. read more

This is a nice location. The staff usually keep this place clean and kept up nicely. If you shop here on a Sunday for items in the ad, they usually have what you want in stock. Some of the other local locations get cleaned out of the really good deals by noon on Sunday. This isn't my #1 favorite target (I think Diamond Bar wins that ranking), but it is definietly in the top 3 or 4 within Los Angeles County. read more

Emily the medium blonde hair young lady at guest services needs to go back to training. She was so rude when we had a return. There were total of four items we brought in for return, not only she did it 3 different times because she "doesn't" know how to override the price because the system price came up to be different than the price on the tags. Usually cashiers will let customers know how much they're getting back gor each item, of course she didn't and missed one of the override item. AND she took one of our item without crediting us, so i asked how come i only get certain amount back. She just took the receipt out of mh hand and threw it back on the table "this one." This what?! I gave you 4 items and you only credited 3. Right?! She then goes "oh yea." Target staff are usually so nice. Whats with this kind of rudeness. read more
