A quiet weekday at target

I spent an abhorrent amount of time without anyone helping or acknowledging my existence in the electronic section. Considering it was a quiet day in a store with not much guest foot traffic on a weekday afternoon. I pressed all three help buttons in the back of the store and had employees walk past me with me waving at them saying hi and literally getting no response as they walk full speed away from me in their target uniform. I stuck my head in the back room behind electronics because I saw people running back there and talking and literally yelled please can I get some help and continue to wait with absolutely no response after 10 then 20 and 25 minutes. I used to work in the Internet so I know what is acceptable and what isn't and having more than eight employees actively ignore somebody who's saying hey can you help me directly looking at them within a 6 foot distance is not quite right. Maybe I'm a ghost lol After half an hour of trying to talk to people who would actively ignore me, I gave up not being able to buy what I needed that was locked away in a cabinet. No find the extra thing I was looking for I was only able to get one thing at this entire store leaving me to have to pick up what I needed at another store. I actually felt nauseous and sick leaving the store in tears

Unfortunately, that same cover ended up causing the stain issue that led to our claim. After countless emails with Easy Rest and a denied claim, Jerome's sent out a technician to inspect the mattress. That's when Georgina, who I believe is the manager, stepped in and really took ownership of the situation. Along with Jasmine, our sales representative, they were both incredibly patient, courteous, and committed to helping us find a solution. Despite the initial denial from Easy Rest, Jerome's ultimately honored the warranty, replaced the mattress, and helped us with a new cover and other items. Their professionalism and willingness to stand behind their customer turned a very frustrating experience into a positive one. We truly appreciate the support from Georgina and Jasmine and will definitely be returning customers.

My 82 year-old mother-in-law bought a sectional here and was sold an "insurance plan" that covers…read more"everything" for $290. When she and my sister-in-law tried to file a claim for crappy furniture and workmanship they were told that the "plan" doesn't cover slipping of cushions before the furniture was even inspected. This was 15 months after delivery, so February of 2025. We Have been trying to get them to come back out because it's not an issue of a slipped cushion, but rather shoddy workmanship and subpar furniture, not worth the $2500 price tag. We have been dealing directly with the store manager who said he would help escalate and had done nothing until January 2026. He assisted getting us in touch with a liaison for their FCP yet nothing, so we went back on 2/16/26 and spoke with the store manager again who set us up with Alyssa in customer service there at the store. We had to go through the whole story and timeline once again. Meanwhile, the store manager says it would be easiest to just "swap out the piece, but too bad we don't have it any longer". Why in the hell was that not offered at the beginning? They string you along for months and months then deny the claim. Elder abuse at work here, easy prey. They see and elderly woman and tell her that the "insurance plan" covers "everything" and get her on the hook for $290 plus the price of crappy furniture. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM JEROME'S!!!

I believe it was never damaged and they just didn't want to deliver it for whatever reason. Then when I asked them to please help me contact the manufacturer about getting a replacement, they took several days before I followed up. They said they are still checking and then didn't message me for months until I reached out again. They briefly apologize and kept saying they don't know anything about it, even though I gave them the order number and were able to pull it up. They were not able to help find what I needed. And I felt like they were just trying to brush me off. Disappointed to say the least.

Instead of asking follow up questions or helping us determine whether the couch would actually fit, he seemed more interested in closing the sale. He never asked about doorway clearance, access, or any of the things that ultimately became a problem. As a result, we got stuck paying a delivery fee for a couch that couldn't even make it into the house. What frustrated me most is that this felt completely avoidable. A good salesperson should be helping customers avoid expensive mistakes, not creating them. After that mess, we had to go back and pick out another couch. This time we worked with a younger guy with glasses and the difference was night and day. He asked all the right questions, listened to our concerns, and gave us recommendations that actually worked for our space. Five stars for him. The furniture quality itself is still good, which is why I keep coming back. One thing I would skip though is the extended warranty. I purchased it on furniture from my previous home and never ended up using it before it expired. Overall, I like the products here, but the service is definitely hit or miss depending on who helps you. Unfortunately, one bad salesperson ended up costing me time, money, and a lot of unnecessary frustration.
