I searched for the nearest Marshalls as I was in search for a certain item, to replace a worn out item. I never knew that Eastland had a Marshalls, close to Burlington and Ross. Like most discount stores, there are items everywhere and sometimes it can be overwhelming. I walked almost the entire store until I found the section for the item I was looking for. The aisles are narrow, very narrow, especially on the right side of the store. I don't think a shopping cart can even go through some of them. Even when I was in one of the aisles, a shopping cart was coming towards me, but there was no way for them to go around me (or vice versa), so I just ended up exiting the aisle on the opposite end. I had not shopped at a Marshalls in a long time so I was not sure what to expect in terms of quality, brand name items. There were a few items that caught my eye, but other than that, it was pretty average. Like any discount store, sometimes there are not many options in terms of size and quantity. One needs to spend time to search and find. I wanted to purchase 2 of the same item, but after searching, I only found the one item, which was still better than none. The checkout line was quite long for a weekday lunch time, but it moved pretty quickly. They now no longer provide shopping bags, so make sure to bring your own or pay $0.10 for a paper shopping bag. As I was shopping, I saw many employees restocking and etc. Parking are one-way aisles. Even though many of the parking spots were taken, one can find a parking spot in an aisle or two away from the main entrance. read more

Went in to return an electric shaver that didn't work. Was accused of dropping it in water by the way the package looked from the outside. That product was purchased that way especially since there was a red sticker with reduced price already on there. Please learn to not accuse customers of actions they didn't do. I came on a weeknight around 7pm and it was not too crowded in line at the check out counter. Found hand soap (Marshall's is our go-to for hand soap with amazing scents for prices below $5) and socks! Love their big selection of hand soaps and other items. So I've been shopping at Marshall's for about 4 years now and I have have no complains. The manager and employees give really good customer service. The selection is good but for anyone that goes to Marshall's to buy what they need they have to take their time and really look. Now as far the store being clean , the employees do maintain the store clean it's some customers that leave their cups and wrappers on the floor. A little slow moving lines but the employees did the best they could. Can't complain much luv Marshall's and did find what I needed. I have never had problems with Marshalls, I love Marshalls and their prices. The manager taline has ZERO professionalism. While shopping I over heard the way she talks to her associates, degrading and disgusting. She has no respect, makes sense why this store is dirty and unorganized. I love Marshalls but the reason for the low rating is that the line is always to the back of the store. No matter what time of day you come- morning, noon or evening- I've never been able to get in and out of this store quickly. Most of the time, I get halfway through the line and just leave my stuff because it doesn't really move. It's December 1st and the store is packed! Sooo many gift sets and coats!! There is so much stuff to choose from and there is still many holiday decorations to choose from. I do think that the store is too stuffed with merchandise. Hooks are exploding with stuff. It is difficult to get around but that may be something you prefer because there is so much to choose from. The store has moved some things around to accommodate the long lines. Parking is intense. This location is located in a big shopping center. There's a Walmart and a Ross on both sides of the Marshals. So please keep in mind that parking can be an issue. Also, cars pass by the stores extremely fast because people are constantly crossing that they are trying to avoid people and also intimidate pedestrians. Please be careful! I came here in the afternoon just to shop and I loved an item sm and asked them to put it on hold since the line was like 60 people and it was so hot inside to just wait and they told me I had till 9:30 to pick it up. Which I ended up showing up right when the clock hit 9:29 and the rude ass manager kicked me out and told me WE ARE CLOSED MISS after I explained to her the worker told me I can come pick it up at 9:30 she said miss we are closed you need to get out , we are closed. Literally so rude I ended up walking out because she said she will not sell me the item I put on hold sad. I have been a regular Marshalls customer for 10+years and I always enjoy huge savings on my purchases. I truly enjoy the Marshall's large clothing selection some of my favorite brands. I recently visited Marshalls in the Eastland Center and had a "Five Star" experience. This store is spacious and there are many sections to aisle shop. The dressing rooms are clean and very private. There are restrooms too. I found 4 great quality mens pants and paid only $88--easily saving over a hundred bucks. The pants fit and look great. They go perfect with some jackets I bought. On the racks I found many great deals. The Marshall's cashier was super friendly and handled my purchase perfectly. Five Stars for the cashier and Marshalls!! I've been standing in line for more than 20 minutes waiting to return items. If I didn't have to return my items, I probably would not even be here. I love shopping at Marshall's, especially the store in the city of industry. But since I was in the Covina area, I stopped by to exchange or return a Christmas gift from my aunt who lives in Vegas. I approached the cashier, Andres , and I explained to him that I wanted to exchange or return the items, but I did not have a receipt. One of the items did have a Marshall's tag but the other two did not. I only had a text photo of the receipt, which I wanted him to check if it was from Marshall's. The cashier Angelica next to him, immediately nodded her head & saying no. Andres went over to Angelica and they were whispering. Then he came over to the counter pushed my items towards me, and said theres nothing I could do. I told him that I wasn't doing anything shady and I put my items in my bag. Andres & Angelica should of done it in a professional manner and explained to me the store policy that the items can be exchanged but not returned. At least one of the items did have a tag but it didn't matter to them. So I went to Marshall's in the city of industry and had no problem at all. Friendliest and best customer service ever. I Previously came to this Marshalls and I gave it a 0/10. I never ever review stores or restaurants. HOWEVER, I came in the other day and Alyssa was fixing the clothes racks and she looked busy but approachable. I couldn't find the Columbia shirt I wanted in my size so I debated wether I should be a Karen or not and bother her. I walked over and right away she was so friendly and reassured me that it was no bother to her. She helped me look for about 30 seconds and found what I was looking for. She was quick. She also recommended the clearance section, which I was able to snag a bunch of good stuff. I asked her if the store carried any outdoor patio equipment or furniture and right away she was able to tell me where to find it. She was 1.Friendly 2.Expert customer service 3.Knowledgeable of all the questions I asked. I'm glad to see a worker this dedicated despite all the other work they have on the side. I always see this Marshall packed with customers and it could get overwhelming to go above and beyond. Alyssa really made my experience great and I hope the managers recognize this work ethic. After asking Alyssa all my annoying questions and requests. She made sure I received the help I needed. $200 bucks later (worth it) Thank you Alyssa, I hope you see my review. I've been waiting in line at this location for 30 minutes....the line has been excessively long since I walked into the store around 745/8 and I thought maybe it was just a quick rush but NO. They had 2-3 people checking customers out this entire time with the line stretching all the way to the baby section in the back. THE BABY SECTION.... Only until the last 25 minutes of the store closing did they have more registers open....they announced for everyone to come up to the front and pay, but we've been trying to pay the entire time. I'm currently paying now and now the employees are rushing to get everyone out. Yikes. If I didn't need this bday gift and I would have left this place. read more

I'm really disgusted with this Marshalls. Everyone knows it's a busy store, really busy. I'm patient, but do I want to wait 45+ minutes to ring up my order? I was there today, and there were 4 check stands open. That's not enough. They could have opened 2 more check stands. This place is trash. It's so messy and doesn't have a good selection. And the lines are always super long and slow. I've been to other Marshall's in the surrounding cities and they're much better. But the worst thing was, I was in line to pay and I think this lady was an off the clock employee, she was behind me talking sh*t about customers who leave behind items they don't want (which is rude, I agree) and she was picking up the left over items invading my personal space and I'm hearing her talking to another lady complaining. Arrived here later in the evening with no real purpose of what I was intending to purchase. It was one of those visits for an excuse to buy something. Walking around, it was a bit of a mess. I was able to find a few things to purchase though. This trip was still.proven to be purposeful. I started attending hot yoga classes and was able to find a decent yoga mat towel for $7.50. At first, all I found were very brightly colorful towel that I would never purchase. Thankfully enough, I walked to the other side of the display to find a grey one hemmed with green threading. It was perfect! Off to the cash registers! It was a moderate line with about 5 other customers in front of me with about 3 registers open. I was able to get to a cashier within minutes. The selection is equivalent to what you see at Ross (not just its neighboring one, but a majority of the Ross stores you'll see). It is pretty messy and there isn't that much to see. I think Burlington tops both Marshalls and Ross in this plaza! read more

It's a hit or miss in terms of shopping and customer service. I like this location over others in the area. For the most part, they always have something that I never thought I wanted until walking in there. Somehow I always come out spending about $50 even when I go just "to look". So I guess that's a good thing? For them.. not my pocket. Considering the amount of traffic they get in this store, the store is kept somewhat organized and clean. As I look around, I see staff actually working. Boy, they hustle here. In these types of stores, items are jammed on racks. You need to have some patience to go through the racks to find the items you need. With this in consideration, the staff actually keep things in the correct categories of items. If it is there, it's there. If it is not there, they most likely don't have it. They have a nice variety of items as well. If you have patience and a good eye, they have some key finds on clearance. The shoe section is insane! 07/16/2019 I was shopping today at marshalls looking in the baby section when I noticed plenty of opened boxes, and tampered items. I brought this to the attention of a worker, and she barely couldve cared. She said word by word, "So do you want me to take it???" SHE DID NOT CARE FOR TAMPERED BABY ITEMS. I reported it and hope it gets fixed, I will come by tommorow and edit it to see if it is still there. Hope this problem gets fixed or else I wont go there. I grew up going to Ross and I still prefer it over Marshalls. The exact same purses, towels, and cutlery are 10-40% cheaper at Ross. Marshalls bridges the gap between the Ross shoppers and the Nordstrom Rack/Loehmann's clientele so the people here seem a little less rough and the store is a a couple notches more organized. But if you're going for cheap items anyway, you might as well go to Ross and sift through all the racks and piles to find your deals. I love bargain stores and this Marshalls has to be on top of my list. It's clean, well-organized, and packed with tons of goodies; one of the best I've visited. They have huge clearance sections and the staff here are usually more helpful and welcoming than lower-end bargain stores like Ross. I've found things from $2 soap dispenser/cup/toothbrush holders to $20 Free People dresses to $25 knee-high heel boots to $8 top-of-the-line hair products to $10-$20 unique looking bags to even $5 Lancome make up!
