I've been coming to this Target for years because it's really close to where I live. It's good for basic necessity items - but if you want electronics, FORGET ABOUT IT! Managerially, even as a big box store, I cannot believe how this particular location is still around. You can wait for over a half hour, even try to call ANY DEPARTMENT, and NO ONE will help you or pick up a phone. I was standing there, asking whoever and received no help (on more than one occasion). I doubt they'll even read through this. I doubt there's even a number for corporate. Horrible customer service and horrible overall service too read more

Really rude teenage girls working in the beauty section, shoving their way in between my husband & I then turning around to give us a dirty look when they could've easily said "excuse me" instead of pushing us out of the way. Katherine from the BEAUTY DEPARTMENT IS THE ULTIMATE BEST! SO WELL EDUCATED ON MAKE UP AND TONES AND SHE DEFINITELY HAS A PASSION FOR MAKE UP AND IT SHOWS. Quick preface- I rarely go to target because I've always found their stuff pricey. I hadn't been there in a while and I got to admit their prices are decent. However that's not the point, today I went to get market for my dad and walked through the make up aisle. My make up is over 3-4 years old, metaphorically covered in spider webs because I'm always broke and busy. But I wanna feel beautiful again. The only problem, I knew close to nothing about make up. My bf is trying to convince me to get some stuff but I had no idea what I was buying. Here comes the best part- Katherine is there with a smile and sure enough I go and ask her for some product I had always seen on YouTube accounts, that white stuff you throw on your face to bake but I knew nothing on how it worked. Katherine knew exactly what was best AND what's in my budget. I told her about my problem with contouring and looking like a clown, she explained cool and warm tones and how I must be using tones " too cool" for me. She even picked out a concealer AND a cheap palette that she recommended I use one of the colors for contouring with for now until I can grow with my make up and move up to the big girl stuff. I went home with a few new products and she let me know to come back if anything didn't feel or look right to what I liked. A-MAZE-ING CUSTOMER SERVICE all around. Let me tell you, my boyfriend knows that I had been looking for that perfect contour color and KATHERINE ANSWERED MY PRAYERS. Not my most local target but I go to this one regularly because it's in a shopping plaza with a lot of other things, so it can be a one stop trip for a lot of needs. There is ample parking, the store is clean, the Starbucks is nice and they are fairly well stocked in their goods. One of the better renovated targets. read more

I appreciate this Target a lot and I do enjoy coming here, but I'm extremely frustrated with how much BS you have to put up with as you enter the location. If it's not middle/high school students being scammed into selling chocolates outside, it's someone trying to get signatures. This place is now NOTORIOUS for it's unsolicited activities outside the entrance. It'll honestly be your lucky day if you can walk into this location WITHOUT being harassed. I'm not sure why this hasn't been mentioned by more people, but the management needs to seriously address this because it's becoming a big damn problem. read more

The employees here are not friendly and make no effort to assist guests. The cashier was argumentative when assisting another Target associate, insisting that the associate pay on cash or will have to remove the discount. The associate gently reminded her that that is not the case and to retry the Target red card. When it finally was completed the associate requested to speak with the manager and the cashier ignored her. She then went to guest services and complained about the mistreatment, and the employee brushed her off. The associate asked to see the manager and was ignored again. Do NOT shop here. There are plenty of other Target locations much nicer and updated than this location. read more

This Target is the closest to my home, but I try to go another one if I can. First, there are always people out front trying to sell you candy for their " basketball team" when you know they are lying. Or there are people there trying to get you to sign petitions while blasting their music. I wish the manager would stop them from harassing customers who just want to shop at Target. The shoplifting goes unchecked. I guess it's Targets policy to allow thieves to take what they want because it's easier than engaging. Love my neighborhood Target as I do all Targets. The new Drive Up service is great, big time saver especially with kids. I shop using the app and a few hours later (but usually sooner) my items are ready. Park in a designated spot, tap 'I'm here' on the app and an employee brings out my stuff, couldn't be easier. Target evolves and is always getting better. Also buy food and snacks here since they started carrying groceries. Minus one star because Target's receipts are contaminated with BPA. read more

For months employees at customer service wouldnt pick the phone or hang up on callers. 2 Females..one asian and the other middle with a headscarf were both rude and seemed upset when I asked why no one picked up the phone. No one answered my calls so my order pick up was canceled due to someone grabbing the item. Horrible service. I hope managers here visit other targets to see how its done. Please, beware of scammers!!! My retired father purchased a TV. Unpacked. The legs didn't fit. When he came back to return, he was told this was a different TV (different serial number, size, color). WHAT???!!! Upon doing research on the internet, I found out scammers buy a TV, remove a sticker with a serial number, place it on a completely different TV... and return a "new" TV. The department that accepts returns doesn't check the actual TV. They only check and scan the sticker. Voila! The scammer now has a new TV for less. Thank you, Target. Great job read more

Came to the store to buy a wig for my costume. I placed it on hold with one of the self check out cashiers. I left work to go and purchase it later on within about 20 minutes. When I came back the wig was gone. The manager and other cashiers were helping me locate it. I was very pleased with them helping me. Anamalia Was very sympathetic and apologetic. I gave her a five star for customer service. Thanks to them looking for the wig I was able to purchase it and go about my day. read more

Don't waste your time with this target. I've been ordering my groceries through their drive up service for several years and every time, I receive severely expired products. Due to this I have tried to go in and purchase them in store several times due to how poor the services and their drive up service, and even myself I would find expired items on shelves. It's like they don't even even check the expirations on the products and filter through what's bad and what's good!! I have stopped purchasing groceries through them and have been going to Ralph's and sprouts for my necessities as their quality and care is much higher. Unfortunately my yogurts are only sold at target as a four pack, so I ordered two packs through their drive up service and picked it up yesterday. I opened the first one this morning and the yogurt was splotchy and gross, check the expiration and it expired on July 1st.... That is 14 days that it sat on the shelf expired and sold to a customer!!!! That is absolutely outrageous. Got refunded for my order, called customer support to tell them this is not the first time that I have received expired products, and they told me there is nothing they can do to fix this issue. Fruits and vegetables grow mold within a day of purchase, and items are left on shelves well beyond when they should be sold. If you want quality and healthy products, go somewhere else. By far the worst Target . Came here to but nasal spray and on the shelf it had the price of 16$ and when I went to the cashier it was ringing up 23$ I told the cashier the price is different on the shelf then she told me to scan it with my phone with my app to see the price I was getting and online it was ringing up 20$ . The cashier said I need to confirm with my manager which her name is Angel . They were supposed to check they never went apparently. After standing there for almost 10 min Angel the manager finally went to check . She said she didn't find the nasal spray at the price I had showed them cause I took a picture of it . She said we'll come and show me . Yeah after they probably changed the price . She then yelled at the cashier saying they don't price match at there location . And she was going to have a meeting and let everyone know . Apparently the 20$ was for the Northridge location . But I looked it up online to have it shipped and it gave me 20$ so don't know why they have it at 23$ in this location . This used to be a beautiful store inside and out. The parking lot regularly has trash all over the ground. Considering Target is a large corporation who supports well being, health and global efforts this surprises me. All trash leads to a drain that leads to the ocean. It's not hard or unreasonable to glove your cart staff and have them also clean the lot and/or pay for weekly street sweeping. This coupled with dirty bathrooms and undesirables in the store (being tailed by undercover) really just disappoints. read more

The quiet Target hidden behind the Fallbrook Mall is everyone in the west SFV's favorite Target. It doesn't have the selection of the other locations but doesn't have nearly the crowd. Occasionally, the store will be out of that one item you need. But if you have small kids & need to pickup something when you're rushing home, it's a life saver. No huge lines. No weird late night characters. Only one homeless guy out front per visit. PS: don't go to the Starbucks there unless you're a fan of disappointment. read more

Employees were generally standoffish and many aisles had not been cleaned or maintained properly. A majority of the staff seemed withdrawn and a little depressed. The overall layout of the store is unfavorable as the back section of the store is constantly changing meaning you will have to be looking in different sections for something every time you go. It was time to checkout and with only one check stand open and a line, I went to self checkout. I then proceeded to drop my box of blueberries all over the floor! OMG! In a flash, the Black American man in charge of the area was extremely gracious and helpful. Bravo, Target! So, as a quick note- the bathrooms here are pretty disgusting. Okay, back to my review- I am a proud breastfeeding momma. My child has latch issues (lip tie/small mouth). So, it requires him to be able to be positioned & re-positioned, constantly. After walking over from Walmart, where I received a no so warm welcome to my public feeding of my child, it was such a great experience to walk around the store and not get stares or people telling me I "couldn't stand there" or "don't lean on that." & being looked at in the eyes & not st my breasts. I like Target. I particularly like this Target, at least as far as the West Valley is concerned. Apparently the populace has decided to shop at the recently opened 2-story Target at the Westfield Topanga Mall. Or perhaps they're out on Ventura Blvd. I'm not sure. I do know that this is the farthest West you'll find a Target in the San Fernando Valley and, perhaps because of this, it's nice and mellow without too many people hitting you with their shopping carts. Me like. We just spent a bunch of money there this weekend. My wife needed to upgrade her wardrobe, especially now that's she a bona fide Chef instructor. I needed to upgrade my errr.... CD collection with some tunes by Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin so I can reminisce about my college days in Berkeley. We also bought some ankle weights, shampoo, and a new potter for our orchid plant. Let's just say we bought a weird selection of shit for pretty decent price and we were not attacked by mean old ladies and their shopping carts. Popped in last night looking for a particular item in the stationery / office supply section. Not only didn't they have it, the whole department looked like it hadn't been re-stocked or merchandised since Christmas. Seemed like 50% of the shelves were empty. A bit disappointment. DH remarked at how shabby the store felt, and that there was an unpleasant smell in the restroom, like dank water. We left without purchasing anything, and headed to the Target in Westlake Village instead. By the way, the parking lot is laid out with strange angles for the rows, and tightly painted spaces. Given the large size of the available lot, they could have done much better. From the parking lot to the location of the store tacked on like an afterthought to the Fallbook Mall, this would never be a favorite Target for me. read more

If you see a sign advertising a sale or "buy __ get something free" you better take a picture of the sign because when you get to the register with your items it won't ring up properly, and the cashiers will give you a hard time about it unless you show them picture proof. Even then they don't actually apologize and you have to get the manager to come fix it for you. Unsure if this is a problem with Target as a whole, but the unwillingness of employees to help sure doesn't make me feel better about it. read more

I love their drive up service. I also like the Woodland Hills location, however sometimes it can take 6 hours at Woodland Hills while this target is usually 2 hour pick up. They also have more in stock items. Overall very friendly staff and the nicest biggest parking lot- even though people drive around it like crap lol probably me included. :) read more
