Love their new shop-in-shop visuals. Nice presentation

Stopped in Target to do a couple returns. It was very fast and efficient. They don't need to scan your card and it automatically goes back on your card which is nice. I had the wrong receipt for one item and they were able to do a credit card look up to return the item which was convenient. I wish every store had this capability. The cashier was also very helpful and friendly. When in Target, you kind of have to stop at Starbucks and a chai tea latte was calling my name. The barista was fast and efficient. I was kind of surprised that they only had one girl cashiering, making the coffee and bouncing over to the Pizza Hut food counter as well to serve customers there too. Seems like that could be problematic if they have a rush of business. The latte was good and I was served quickly but the seating in their cafe area was pretty dirty, and not too surprised since they were understaffed in this area. I also breezed through the clothing section. I really like how Target has revamped their clothing section to have boutique style shop-in-shops where they pair together color coordinated outfits and hook-up pieces and accessories such as purses, belts and jewelry. This visual presentation is a great touch in helping customers piece items together and style outfits. This location's women's clothing department was very clean, organized, well-sized and shoppable. Have my eye on a couple items but alas I made a narrow escape, not purchasing anything today. I will be back though. I have a love hate relationship with Target. I looove Target because they literally have everything, but hate that I stop in for shampoo and every time end up seeing a million other things I "need" and end up spending way too much, ha!

An employee informed us that there was a sale on all items and that she could assist us. We browsed the store and were deciding between a couple of couches but were not set on buying them. The employee asked my fiancé about doing a credit check and ensured that it would be a SOFT PULL. After we left the store, we found out that it was a HARD PULL ON HIS CREDIT. This was a very deceptive move, and we did not appreciate being lied to. We decided to not buy anything that day as we were still unsure of what we wanted. A week later after finding out about this hard pull and deciding that we would not be back to this store, my fiancé gets an email that he is being sent an Ashley CREDIT CARD. During our visit at the store, there was no mention of a credit card or even opening one. The sales associate did not ask if we wanted to sign up for a credit card, she took it upon herself to open one. We did not buy furniture from there so why would we need a credit card? Beware even considering items from this store as they are very shady, unprofessional, and pushy. Even if you don't consent to a credit card, you'll end up with one anyway. Very disappointed.

Wow what an awful experience. The sales person, after much reassurance to my wife and I when we…read moreclearly asked several times that what we were buying was what we were seeing on the floor model (2 couches, a chaise and a wedge) sold us a "4-piece" sectional...once it arrived it was only 3 as it was missing the wedge connecting the two couches at an angle...easily the smallest piece of the sectional. so when we called, the sales person pointed out we signed the purchase agreement and that it was our problem that we didn't notice it was only 3 and we could buy that missing piece for $700. we don't know what we are looking at, we trusted what she said. The store manager turfed us to corporate customer service who told us they could sell it to us for 30% off which is $700...so basically same price. ultimately we had to return it which is bonkers cuz there's no way that's better for them than just selling the missing piece to us for like $250, even though I felt like it should be free considering their salesperson scammed us...they come pick it up and reimburse us. They are going to lose money over it, literally makes zero sense We also bought some couches from Gardner white and what an absolute night and day difference. Don't buy anything from this or any other Ashely, they suck.

YOOOOOO did you all know this was happening? A Crate and Barrel outlet in Metro Detroit? Because I…read moredidn't! I stumbled upon a news article about the opening just this afternoon and made a beeline for them almost immediately. I'm in the market for a new dresser and thought it would be good to get there sooner rather than later. The space is no frills, pretty open concept with everything stretched before you. It's a huge space tho, so there's a lot to browse. They opened just yesterday and we were informed that many of their outdoor pieces were snatched up but there was still A TON of stuff to consider. If you're looking for a new couch or living room furniture you have to get there now because that makes up the majority of their stock. I also spent some time with the dining tables as I'm looking for a new one for our house as well. It's an outlet so, as expected, what you're going to lose in slightly damaged pieces you'll make up in markdowns. They had a number of beautiful pieces that I had admired on their websites (this store covers Crate and Barrel, CB2, and Crate and Barrel Kids, FYI) with injuries ranging from small nicks to full on scratches and damaged corners (those pieces were priced accordingly, tho). There was a really nice dining table with a few leafs that I considered but after spending almost 15 years with a scratched up table I inherited from a cousin I think that's one item I'd like to be in pristine condition if I can help it. They also have a ton of office furniture, a bit of patio, beds/headboards, nightstands, sideboards/buffets, consoles, coffee tables, etc. They also had a lot of dressers. I considered a couple but the space I'm looking to fill is on the smaller side and there weren't any options this time around petite enough. But it was cool to see so many of the dressers I'd drooled over on their website pretty deeply marked down (an additional 50% on bedroom furniture) without any noticeable damage. The perimeters of the store are filled with shelves full of decor and other home items like bedding, hampers, and a ton of kitchenware like dish sets, serving ware, pots and pans and even a few small appliances like microwaves and even a KitchenAid mixer on sale. The thing about outlets, though, is if you go in looking for anything in particular you're probably NOT going to find it. But if you go in without expectations you'll surely walk out with a lot of treasures. Since I was in the former camp today I didn't leave with anything but I can't wait to regularly pop over there to scour their new arrivals (a staff person told us they plan to get 2-3 shipments a week) and hopefully bring home something special in the future!

Her plan that day was to visit Gardner-White and then La-Z-Boy in Canton, Mi with hopes of buying a sofa and recliner. When she was approached by a sales rep she told the person her plans for the day. The Rep responded with "La-Z-Boy is closed for remodeling". Mom trusted this person's word and then spent the next 1 1/2 hrs picking out her sofa, recliner and another chair she decided to buy. My mother said the Sales Rep was very helpful and really took care of her every whim. However, the next day she called La-Z-Boy and was told that they were not closed. She told them what the Rep at Gardner-White said and the La-Z-Boy Associate responded with, "The people at Gardner-White are liars". When mom told me her story I called Gardner-White and nicely told them her story. I was grateful that the Salesperson was very nice and accommodating to her but that's a shady move to lie to an elderly lady for a commission.

Where should I start this company? Hands down, the worst company I have ever done business with…read more First off, we received the runaround when my wife and I tried to use our credit card for an insurance claim from a previous couch that we purchased. It took five trips to the Canton store before they figured out how to use our credits five times! Secondly, when they delivered our furniture, not all of the items that we purchased were delivered. When I asked where our white chair was, I was told it must be on backorder. It would have been nice if they had made us aware of it. When they tried to deliver our brown leather chair, they did not have the correct pieces. They told us that it would be delivered the following day. After they left, I went downstairs to sit on the brown leather couch when I noticed something. Can you make a guess at what I noticed? Two holes in the drywall, one by where they placed the couch, and the other was in the wall going up the steps. To add insult to injury, the gentleman who delivered our furniture did not say a word about the damage they caused . I'm not sure how they did not notice it's about the size of a fist. It was pretty obvious that Stevie Wonder himself would have seen it. I understand that accidents happen and people make mistakes, but the lack of integrity in not owning up to causing damage to someone's home shows a lack of a moral compass. To me, this suggests that the leadership prioritizes the almighty dollar over customer service. Last but certainly not least was this evening's delivery. When we found out that our brown leather chair could not be delivered that day, my wife received an alert on her phone stating that our chair would be delivered the next day between 4:30 pm and 9:00 pm. Do you wanna know what time the chair was delivered? It was not anywhere close to the timeframe given. Come on, just take a guess. Well, if you guess 1130pm, you are correct. Delivering to some at 1130 a night is a colossal mistake. Who in their right mind would think this is a good business practice? So once again, your incompetent employees and leadership failed, dropped the ball, or whatever you want to call it. This experience the past week, dealing with your business has been a nightmare. They still have not provided a timeframe for our white couch to be delivered. It's frightening to think what's going to happen when you attempt to deliver our last item. If I were a betting I would bet on that you will somehow mess that up as well. I guess what upset me the most is that your company charges Delta airline prices, but you gave us Spirit airline quality service. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you , Shane Calkins
