Came here to check out the hatchback Focus after test driving the sedan version at Metro. Very nice people, I dealt with a young man named Vinny who I'd recommend to anyone as he was polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. What people may not know is that this dealership does not pay it's salesman on a commission basis but rather and base salary plus bonuses based on customer satisfaction surveys. This leads to very relaxed, no pressure environment. I ended up being misquoted for this car by Metro so when it came down to brass tax I felt I had to reassess my shopping. The finance manager at Tasca was the one who realized where Metro made a mistake and invited me to go back to Metro for a correct quote and they would still beat it. For the amount of money I was now going to have to spend on this car, I ended up going with a much better car for a little bit more money. However I would definitely recommend this dealership if you're shopping for a Ford product. read more

Yelp doesn't allow me to enter zero stars, but this is what this dealership deserves. They charged me $800 and took two weeks to diagnose the issue on my car. Their conclusion was far from decisive and gave me zero confidence that they actuality figured out the real issue. Customer service was non existent as well. Half the time they didn't answer and a quarter of the time they transferred me to a voicemail or hung up on me. Even when I spoke to my service rep Nixon I felt as if he was talking down to me and blatantly being arrogantly disrespectful. Please stay far away from this dealer...they do not deserve anyone's business. read more

Warning and advice to every1 that buys parts from tasca don't buy any parts from them . the parts guy George will tell you anything to sell you the parts and when you have a problem he lies about it and transfer you to Erick the untrained manger who doesn't know anything gives you the run around, doesn't return your calls and hides somewhere then they send you Teresa the wholesale rep that promises she would fix it but she is there to cover for them they took the parts back to return and after a month of jerking around never seen the credit or the parts never again. read more

MADE AN APPOINTMENT to test drive a used car from Tasca last weekend. Upon arrival, we were told that the car was "being detailed" but that we could drive it. Had to go to their detail facility down the street only to find that the car had a flat tire and hadn't been cleaned. Although we were told car had "just had the brakes checked", the emergency brake was non-functional. Dirty car, dirty interior, flat tire, broken e-brake tell me that these folks don't care much about their customers or their reputation. What a shame - a wasted trip on a beautiful afternoon. read more

Sean Bernier was our sales person. We had already decided that we wanted the Mazda CX5 Signature when we first contacted Tasca Mazda. Kevin Barry lead the phone conversation initially and introduced us to Sean who educated us about the features of the car that we were buying and served as the main contact for registration and financing paperwork. Sean promptly answered texts and phone calls. After the purchase, he spent a long time with us once again explaining how to use all our new cars features and asked us to stop by within a few days/weeks if we needed further help with the cars features. Norma completed the purchase contract and other paperwork that required our signatures. She too was very sweet. The whole experience was relaxed and laid back. There was no hard selling involved or any deception with pricing. I highly recommend this dealership. We drove from Boston to Seekonk and had a better experience here than the closer dealerships. read more

My Lincoln had a dead battery this morning so I called the dealer. I was not able to get help on the phone from Tasca, I was sent to voicemail. So I drove over. I walked into their quick lane and asked if it was covered under my certified used car warranty and they didn't know. So they sent me to the main service bay. It turned out it wasn't but rather than send me back to the other department the service tech said he would take care of it ASAP. And he did. As soon as a spot opened up in the bay he replaced the battery and had me on my way. read more

Buyer Beware!!!!! I purchased a 2005 F350 in June 2016. The sale was easy. It is October and the repairs I reported during my 30 bumper to bumper have not be completed. The vehicle failed inspection, check engine light and bed rails so poorly rotted up to 14 inch sections were missing. I left my vehicle at the dealer for 2 wks. I got a new sticker and some black spray paint over the rot. I was assured constantly for 45 mins that the send the vehicle out and would NEVER just slap a sticker on it. After a manager was called at home. It was decided the rails would be replaced. 5 weeks later the rails were on. An aftermarket switch hanging from the dash to work the rear window was installed. Rear window still doesn't work, dash was not properly reinstalled. It's almost November and my emails and calls never get returned. I was assured, a truck as a rental and all damages would be repaired by James Teak. He hasn't replied to my emails or phone messages since August. Go anywhere but here. Save your self the trouble! read more

I agree with the previous review saying they should change their name to Tasca Morons. Called them several times over the past three weeks. After waiting ten minutes on hold I just gave up. Eventually I got through. I scheduled a diagnostic appointment for a Friday, with Charlie. He asked what the problem was, took my vehicle info and phone number and said ok we'll check it out on Friday. Friday comes and goes with no call. I call Saturday morning and the Tasca Moron that answered the phone says, "oh we just had a key and a vehicle. We didn't know what was wrong with it or have a number to call". I told him well I spoke to Charlie and scheduled a diagnostic and he took all my info down. Never said anything like "I'm sorry about that mix up" or asked if I would like to schedule something. Then when I asked if they could possibly get it done today he told me the Mazda techs don't work on Saturdays... I told him I'll come pick up the car and go elsewhere. If they can't get scheduling right, how are these morons going to fix your car?? Hope this review helps anyone considering taking their car here. read more

I am writing a follow up to my previous review. I still have nothing good to say about this dealership. At first I thought it was just the dealership located in Seekonk. Now I fully believe that their entire organization operates the same way that Seekonk dealership did. Ford dealership that says"you will be satisfied", that is the furthest thing from the truth. If you read my earlier review you saw that I reached out to them and got nothing but hassles. They tried to blame the problems that occurred on previous work. Both the Sales Manager and the General Manger James Teague were condescending and hostile. As a result I reached out to Carl Tasca and of course I received no response. I guess that is how they handle their business. I wound up filing a complaint with the District Attorney. They have a special unit that deals with dealer complaints. Today I received a letter from the DA's office stating that they tried to contact the Dealership and to no surprise they too received no response. They are going to continue their investigation. Hopefully this leads to a favorable result. I cannot stress enough, there is absolutely no reason anyone should consider this company of crooks. Shop around, drive a little further, whatever you can to avoid dealing with a company that doesn't care at all about there customers and will, without a doubt end in you DISSATISFACTION. read more

This is about SALES @ Tasca Seekonk - Dan P. No customer engagement, tact, or salesmanship... This guys banking on riding the Tasca name for his sales clearly... Back Story - Went in to service our CX-5 that we leased from Tasca Seekonk in 2017....since our lease is up in 12 months and I'm a planner and like to do my research - we decided to take the opportunity to look at the new models. I asked to see a sales person (none were to be found in the building). After waiting 20-25 minutes a sales guy showed up who really couldn't be bothered. After he asked "what's up?" I explained the above and he, without knowing me, my financial situation, the terms or value or even the vehicle I had, just told me I was "upside down" on my lease ..... WTF. I then clarified I wanted to see the CX-9. After another 10 minutes and him making a call, he said he had the keys to one ... we go out, no explanation of the car or engagement. He just stood there...texting. Didn't ask if we had any questions just unlocked the car and stood there. After the great experience we had with the initial lease, and the intent to be a repeat customer, we will not be returning for a second vehicle from this location. read more

I love the service center in this place. I have always used the Quicklane for my Mazda3 and have come to trust them. I have been taking my car here for more than two years now and have not had one bad experience. They are helpful, thorough, and most importantly provide reliable service. Never ever do business with this location. I have no idea how Cranston or East Providence works, but everyone I have dealt with at Tasca in Seekonk to buy a 2010 Mercury Milan has brought me nothing but grief, headaches, and aggravation. I bought my car and they forgot to get the VIN Checked. So I brought it back in. The guy who was supposed to bring my car to the Police for the check was not in that day, despite my salesperson telling me he would be. So a technician took my car to the police. While driving 3 minutes from the dealership, he scraped up my rim. I spent two weeks calling my salesman to schedule a time for them to replace my rim. He told me they had to wait for a new Milan to come on the lot to swap out my wheel. I didn't want to wait that long because that's ridiculous. Why should I be put out because of a technician's shotty driving skills. I spoke with the general manager of the store and he told me he would call me back. A week went by and he never called me back. I left him a message asking him to please call me back. No call back. In the mean time my check engine light came on. I drove to the dealership to set up a service appointment and to speak with the general manager about my wheel replacement. He kept me waiting for an hour. I had to ask the receptionist if this idiot was ever going to come and speak with me. They sent out the floor manager. The floor manager said to bring the car in the next day to check the check-engine light and to change the wheel. I told the floor manager that I didn't think they had a Milan that matched my wheel, but I knew they did at their Cranston location. He told me they did and to bring the car in the next day. I brought the car in the next morning at 9am on Saturday August 17th and waited for 4 hours because I was right. They didn't have a wheel that matched mine on their lot. They had to drive to Cranston to get one that matched. In the meantime, they diagnosed my check engine light as the catalytic converter. (Mind you, I bought the car 2 1/2 weeks before the check engine light came on. Some 120 point inspection.) After waiting for four hours and losing my mind with anger for the total disregard for my time or SATISFACTION, I told my salesman that after this catalytic converter, I never wanted to do business with them ever again. They scheduled an appointment for me to come back the FOLLOW Saturday, August 24th to get my catalytic converter replaced. They said the parts would be in on Wednesday. I called Friday to make sure we were still on for tomorrow, Saturday the 24th and they said they didn't have an appointment scheduled and the parts were not in yet. I told him we did have an appointment scheduled and he never said he would call if the parts didn't come in. I have never experience service like this before in my life. I have never been treated this way before in my life and I have already started telling the world about the terrible service at Tasca through social media, blogs, besides conversations among friends and families who are local to Seekonk. Do yourselves a favor, go to First Ford in Fall River. read more

So my wife and I went to purchase a 2016 Ford Edge at the Seekonk Ma location on 07/11. The day before we were given a price for the car at 17900 with monthly payments of 310.00 for 72 months. When we went to finalize, we were told that the best price they could give us was 380.00 per month!!. We unfortunately walked out with out the car we wanted. Their excuse was that our credit was not up to top standards. so our price went up tp 380.00!! Sounds like the old baste and switch to me right? Tell you one price and then hope you'll go with the higher monthly payment. e talked to the manager and he tries to tell us he's losing money on the sale?? Really. Will never do business with these people again. Been having my 04 Escape serviced in the past, but never again. I was told they are un der new management. I think they should try again; concentrating on they're finance officer first and foremost. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE CLOWNS!!! Purchased a used vehicle from Tasca Ford Seekonk and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Do your diligence before buying a used car AND LOOK CLOSELY AT THE FINAL PURCHASE AND SALES AGREEMENT OR BILL OF SALE BEFORE YOU SIGN IT... Tasca Seekonk Ford charged me an extra $2900 for a "Finance Fee" and I had gotten the loan for the car from a private bank which I pay interest on every month when I make my payments. These guys are SNAKES! I didn't notice the extra "Finance Fee" charge until after I had purchased the car and had been driving it for a few months. I looked over the final Purchase and Sales Agreement a few months later and stumbled upon this BS fee, which was NEVER MENTIONED VERBALLY TO ME. They worked it into the monthly payment somehow without me noticing. Not to mention they also charged me a $500 Document fee which is just for going to the registry and filling out the title... Another bogus fee... I am sick to my stomach about how the whole experience. I tried to haggle with them a bit when we sat down to discuss the price and they only came down $100 off the asking price. Wow thanks a lot. Didn't even have a half tank of gas either when I picked the car up. Salesman was rude and belittling to me when road testing and negotiating. Also come to find out later that the car was a former RENTAL CAR and had been in an accident! The car is a 2013 Ford Fusion and it already has a big rust spot on the bottom of the rear door where it was hit in the previous accident. FU TASCA FORD!!! I thought buying a low miles used Ford from you would be a ligament purchase, but you screwed me from both ends. I hope some day you people have to answer for your sins. Good luck with that. DO NOT bring your rotary powered vehicles here! Their "Master Rotary Tech" will flood it, then after cranking the starter for over 10-20 seconds frying the starter, they will redline the engine cold ruining seals causing low compression. Their master tech or what ever kind of joe shmoe they have has zero clues. Just because you can spell rotary, doesn't mean you're certified to work on them. Message to techs, Please read the manual.... Don't think your smarter than the engineers who designed the engine, because you are not. Otherwise, your cafe station was pretty good! read more

I have had the most unpleasant car-buying experience I have ever at Tasca Ford Mazda. I didn't even want to be in the market for a new car because I was already driving my dream vehicle (a 2008 Chevy Impala SS) before some jerk ran a stop sign and totaled it before taking off. (And I never caught the guy.) Considering how well it handled the crash, I decided to get the same model, only newer (and with a V6 because they don't make the V8 model anymore). I found what I thought was a good deal at Tasca Ford Mazda in Seekonk, and took it for a test drive. One thing I noticed was that the seat didn't go as far back as my old Impala, and the salesman, Ben Jr., told me that it was as far back as it goes. I'm only 5'7", so I can't imagine how a taller person would handle it. Then they told me I was pre-approved for a $241/month payment. I figured I found the right deal, and signed some paperwork to get the process started. When I went in to take possession, they told me my credit was worse than they expected and my payment would be $337/month with a 22% interest rate, even with my $5,000 down payment. And I would have to buy an extended warranty to make the deal. I should have walked right there, but I was thinking about how my rental was costing me $50 a day and that I could refinance in a year, so I took the deal. But then I couldn't take possession because I was still waiting on my old plates from the insurance company, and I went two more days with no car. Finally I was able to drive it home and when I got there, I found a magnet stuck to the bottom of the seat that prevented it from going all the way back. Interesting. A week and a half later, after only putting 750 miles on it, the drive belt snapped. I had it towed to my local shop and called Tasca (because they're a 50 minute drive away) and drive belts aren't covered by the warranty they made me buy because they're considered a "wear and tear" item, so another $100 down the drain. Now that makes me think, drive belts wear down before they snap; did no one at Tasca notice before they sold it to me? Was it even inspected? The very next day, the check engine light comes on. I have the code read and it's the exhaust computer. I call Tasca again and they tell me they can't fix this, it can only be fixed at a Chevrolet dealership because they don't have the right computer. So while trying to find one and doing some more research, it turns out my car was still under factory warranty and Tasca charged me over $1,000 for a warranty I already had! And to make things even more inconvenient, it took them 42 days to send me my new registration, and they did a new registration instead of a transfer, so I can't keep my veteran plates. I'll have to go to the DMV and waste a day myself getting it sorted out. All-in-all, I was charged over $500 more than Kelly Blue Book for a car that has mechanical problems and a warranty I don't need, in addition to days of being inconvenienced by waiting for my registration, which wasn't even correct, and having to take it to the shop. If it was up to me, I would drive it back to Tasca, leave it on the lot and demand my down payment back, but apparently that's only a viable option in the first week after purchase. In short, Tasca has done nothing but rip me off and inconvenience me, and I wish I had gone elsewhere. read more

went in to trade our family car for something smaller and less expensive, our car had a clean title, never any accidents or issues. We were looking for the same history on our new car. They showed us a few cars before landing on one that my wife liked, 2011 chevy hhr lt, white. Nice car, fit our twins and their carry on baggage without a problem, test drove and no issues. We thought we were golden, the numbers all matched and the deal seemed to be working well. Asked for the carfax, clean and no issues except for a small fender bender, the car fax was weird, only being 1 page long, like a summary. We bought it and ate the $3500 negative equity from out trade. Come to find out the car went in for service the week after purchase for shaking while driving on the highway, never resolved, had to take it back again, same issue. No resolve. Still is having the same issue now. Also, we decided to appraise the car and see what it was worth now, 2 different locations ran the carfax report, both showed a severe front end collision and that the car was at one point a rental car. BOTH things would have immediately canceled the deal for me at their dealership. But, it wasn't on their paperwork. My wife and I now feel very cheated, lied to, and unsafe putting ourselves, never mind our infant daughters in this car. We can't believe for the sake of a sale that this car was sold to us, knowing it was to be our family car. No we are in a car that we can't even put our family into because of the history that was kept from us. And to top it all off, we lost our amazing family car and are in the whole, negative like $3500.00. Please use this advice, do not go there, anywhere else will treat you better and like a normal person and care about what they are putting you in. Specially since we had our daughters with us the day we made the purchase. Just isn't right for a business to be able to do this. Never again.... Tasca..... read more

I brought my 2 year old Ford Focus with 20K miles on it in for repair. Do your research before buying a Focus. They have serious transmission issues. Mine had to be replaced after 20K miles of easy driving. They had my car for a week and there was virtually no communication. Apparently, all of the Tasca dealerships only have one tool between them to perform this repair. I dropped off my car on a Tuesday evening and they did not have the tool until Monday (the part had been there since Wednesday, mind you). My car was already in pieces, so I had no choice but to leave it there. I received no update for days - finally went there on Friday only to be told the mechanic was off for the weekend. I was never offered a loaner car - I had to ask for one. Upon return, the car was not washed or vacuumed and while the transmission issues have improved, they used the same flawed seals, which will eventually fail again. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The service manager George does not return calls, seems totally unconcerned about the customer, and was generally ambivalent. I was left on hold and hung up on on several occasions. Take your business elsewhere and stay away from the Ford Focus. Mine was not the only one in that garage for a new transmission. read more

I hope no one ever goes through this type of experience with a dealership. When you are leasing a car you do not want to make a day of doing it. I had called before I arrived to get quotes and was fine with the price so I decided to stop in. They had quoted me on the wrong body style so I then had to spend 3+ hours there with my 3 year old just to sign for a car I did not even take home (car was coming from another dealership but paperwork had to be done right then..sure). They over charged my debit card by $2200 which I had to get resolved and took 30 minutes of my time. I took the following day off to pick the car up and they never called me to say it was ready so I called them to learn it wasn't. Same thing occurred the next couple of days until I finally asked why we were waiting for the registration on a plate switch. I then got a call from my salesman because he had seen a negative review posted on this site and was willing to offer me oil changes to take it off (so they know my experience had been bad up to this point). The only problem was it wasn't me. After I got the car they then called me back because they had messed up the paperwork I had to sign the first day I was there so it would have to be done again. Good news was my lease was going to be cheaper. Does not make you feel like they know what they are doing though. I at least got someone to drive the paperwork to my place of employment so that I could sign it. They also only gave me one key when I picked up the car so I had asked about that the day after I picked the car up. He said he would make sure I got it when I picked up the new registration. My salesman ended up bring the paperwork and the registration to me but no key. As of today I still have no second key and no one was calling me about it either. Finally today we called AGAIN and found out there was no second key, and I would have to come by with the car so they can make another one. All of this is not the experience I am looking for when I lease a car. I e-mailed them on the 31st of August about my issues (some of which I did not list due to word limit) because they sent me an e-mail saying to let them know if I wasn't satisfied. I guess they didn't care all that much because as of today I have heard nothing back (which is why I am posting this review). If you have a lot of time on your hands, this is the place for you but if your time is more valuable than anything else I would not buy your car here. Drive the extra hour to another place. This was also my third purchase from a Tasca dealership so I am disappointed to see that means nothing (I did mention this in my complaint e-mail to the company). read more
