DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER. They sold me a "certified pre-owned" Subaru with bad brakes and tires. All CPO vehicles are supposed to be up to certain standards and they indicated on the checklist that these components were good. However, when I brought my vehicle for routine service 10 months later my mechanic found that the tires were worn to 2/32nds and brakes to 95% of wear. This was only after I put 5,000-6,000 miles on the vehicle driving on local roads and highways -- simply not enough time or miles to bring the vehicle from acceptable wear to urgent need of replacement. Attempts to address this directly with the dealer were very difficult as the sales manager Dan Pantori refuses to pick up his phone, return messages or emails. I was forced to eventually go through Subaru of America's customer advocacy department in order to get a response, which was that they they would do nothing since the vehicle passed their own in-house inspection. I am currently in the process of looking at legal courses of action since I believe this was gross mistreatment and I should not have been forced to pay for new brakes and tires on a CPO that was owned for less than a year and used lightly since purchase. I would strongly suggest staying away from this dealer. They are not trustworthy and not helpful. Update: The dealer reached out after posting this review and said they wanted to "rectify" the situation. I am awaiting a check for the amount owed for the new brakes and tires. read more

Waiting time is horrible!!! Before scheduling I ask about wait times and was told the most I would wait was 30 minutes. I was scheduled for an oil change at 1030 am (which I was on time for) and it's now 1 pm and my car is still not ready.(it's 1pm). When I ask about a car was I was told that it would add another 2 hours to the wait, so if I decide to wait that would probably mean I'll be leaving here about 5pm from 10:30am, never again!!!!! read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Tasca Ford Yonkers. STAY AWAY! I scheduled an appointment for diesel service well in advance and arrived on time. My truck sat for over 1.5 hours without being touched. No updates, no communication--nothing. When I finally asked, I was told the diesel tech wasn't in that day. So why was I allowed to schedule the appointment in the first place? Nobody seemed to care--no apology, no solution, just indifference. Michael "Mr. Solterra" is a great resource if you're looking into an EV vehicle. I have yet to meet someone who knows more about the ins and outs of electric vehicles. We did have to wait a long time, both in buying the vehicle and also on our second visit to finalize our paperwork, but Michael and Andres were great at smoothing over any negative feelings with amenities and being incredibly helpful post-purchase. Andres actually called us to make sure we got an additional $500 credit. Michael called us the next day to make sure our car was set up correctly. The 2 experiences I've had here for parts and service-one was worse than the last My 2019 Legacy had a factory recall I brought it it and it was "fixed" 15 minutes later, my car stalls out,, I smell gas. The lazy sods never screwed the fuel tank cap under the rear seat. this happened on a highway no less. just this week, I lost a key and needed a new one. figured it would be easiest to come here. Was I ever wrong. They never called to tell me the key was in even after leaving multiple messages in different mail boxes. When I went to the parts dept no one would help. The cashier's attitude was "it's not my job" (I showed her the Apple wallet transaction to replace a lost paid receipt). I know it was July 4th but these clowns belong to group of idiots in business who practice "tell them anything to get them off your back" philosophy-the antithesis of "help the customer". Until i told the lazy guy behind the counter to cancel the order, he wouldn't give me any information- just saying repeatedly he was "here to help me" which he wasn't and didn't. I told them to cancel it- and give me a refund-and if they didn't do that i would dispute it on Amex (which i seldom have done) Miraculously they found the key Lazy incompetent. Went in for standard maintenance that was included when I purchased my vehicle. I set up an appointment for early morning, it still took 1.5-2 hours for them to even bring my car in. He had all the paperwork ready (plates, reg, new inspection, insurance, etc) and my car was right up front and ready to go. I am easy like Sunday morning and for me to write a negative review you really had to have done something negative. On 11/9/22 I had an appointment for my yearly inspection. One positive is they tend to work on your vehicle rather quickly. After waiting about 15 mins I was told because my front side windows are tinted they would not do the inspection. No further information given no clarification. Mind you I am a MOS and my window tints are 27% and 30% is illegal. So after some back and forth still no real explanation but your windows are tinted. I will admit I was a but overwhelming and that is because I worked my midnight tour and had a 2 year old with me. So due to this I had to drive around the BX to get my inspection. After visiting 5 places I finally found one that would do it as 3 of the 5 could only do vehicles 2019 and older and one place did not do inspections. The 5th place did the inspection and I told them about my issue at Mazda and they showed me the tint meter same as I use at work 27% no issue. While going home, (I do not live in the Bronx BTW) my tire pressure sensor came on the dashboard. When I got home I noticed a small nail in one of my tires. I called Mazda to ensure they had a tire in case I needed to replace it and they did so I made an appointment for the next day 11/10/22. Came in for my appointment and waited with a 2 yr old close to 90 mins and the end result was a plug which they charged me $20 for, mind you this happened in the past a couple of years ago and no charge. Now my review is due to the fact that they could have absolutely did my inspection which would have avoided me getting the nail in the tire which would have avoided the 90 min visit after a midnight tour at work with a 2 yr old in tow. In addition I actually inquired to two females who are always in service and whom one son is a MOS and she actually the last time I had this issue did not charge for a plug a couple of years ago. They stated your car probably failed we check the tints with the meter. She grabbed the meter and off they went. About 5 mins later after waiting 90 mins for a pretty simple issue they called my name said $20 and change and I actually had to ask what was wrong they did not even tell me. As I walked out I passed by both females and not one word was uttered, nothing. I lost 90 mins of my time and my child missed his gym class due to this visit. The 1 star is for this visit as all my previous visits for service where fine. It is very disappointing I had this issue as my time is extremely important to me. I understand the whole if the tints are 30% and illegal and we pass the car we could lose our inspections license however the windows are 27% and basically match the rear factory windows. 2021 F150 Lariat. Mine was ordered with BlueCruise but when delivered all the components were not available. I received a notification recall that the components were available. The notice included a loaner because it would take a day and a half to fix. This is our only vehicle and a loaner was needed. I brought the vehicle to the dealership and they had no loaner available. They said they would contact me when one is available. No callback was ever made to me even after several calls to Ford.com. I paid for this package and was also due a one year of complimentary BlueCruise. This was in September 2023. My vehicle lease is up in November 2024. It is now March 2024 and I'll never see my BlueCruise installed nor my one year complimentary usage. I paid for this option! Never prepay for a promised option! I drove my Crosstrek over a curb at night in front of Tasca Subaru, making an enormous whole in my tire, giving me a dead flat. But it was long after the service department at Tasca was closed. The only person there was Jon Gonsalves. It was only after he had (1) found a technician still on the premises (2) figured out they had my tire in stock and (3) found me a nice place to wait that I learned he was the general manager. The repair was done in less than an hour, and the car checked for any other possible safety issues...AND my Thanksgiving shopping could proceed! That 1 TIME was great Fast forward a few months Check engine light comes on Run a diagnostic tool and get error code P1450 'Unable To Bleed Up Fuel Tank Vacuum. ' No problem , let me schedule some service and leave it in the hands of the professionals Call in to make appointment and am told 2 weeks. Ok bummer but everything is backed up now a days (I work in the service dept) ok what can we do got to wait no biggie Then I'm told "if anything is wrong with your transmission or engine we won't work on it and you will have to take it somewhere else " Ok....find that weird...where can I take it I asked "Idk you'll have to call around" Ok.....why is that I asked "Because you didn't buy the vehicle here" Still weird but ok. I contact Ford directly via there website and as you can see below in my screenshots. Total lies. Don't know why they would lie to me like that but they did and there is the proof Never coming here again personally If they lie to me about that, what else would they lie to me about Also the CSR "DMN" didn't even include my notes about the error code or my open recall I asked about. Took my 2022 Maverick into dealer in December for Airbag recall, Engine light, and inspection. They said they would order parts. Called back in March to follow up. They transferred me to an extension would a voice mail. Voice mail said they would call back within 24 hours. They never did. Even with new ownership, don't expect better service. They sell cars, but they can't service and get parts under your warranty. Buy cars that have parts. Tired of hearing about the supply change. They have their exhaust systems including catalytic converter which needs replacement on my truck in Bogota, Columbia. Even for Ford 800 number says not their fault they don't have parts for newer cars. read more

This is a five star review for Dejan Erdeljan from Smith Cairns Ford. Dejan was extremely professional and responsive and got us the best out the door price on a Mustang Mach E. We called 8-10 different dealers in New Jersey and New York and only Dejan gave us a $3100 rebate on the MSRP with the balloon financing plan. Some dealers insisted we come in to the dealership and would not provide pricing over the phone. Others told us incorrect information about the plan. Some were extremely condescending and tried to put down other dealers, saying they couldn't get us the car we wanted. This was so annoying because in 2021, every salesperson should know how to make a deal with a motivated customer and doing things the old fashioned way isn't going to cut it. Dejan made everything easy via phone and email, showed us all the paperwork and calculations to get to the lowest price and earned our business. It was super smooth and we had a one stop shop picking up the car- no extra time wasted with finance or warranty people trying to upsell us extra services. He didn't mention the Ford X Plan so be sure to ask about that for additional discounts if you work for a big national company that might have a partnership with Ford. read more

Added 2 extra stars. ******************************************* After making an appt. at the Yonkers location to get my vehicle serviced, I arrived and not only had to wait to be attended, but was bounced from person to person. When I finally got service advisor Ms. C.R., she seemed stressed and overworked, not friendly at all, but after explaining what I needed, we agreed that I would give her my number, and I would get a call when my car was ready. THREE HOURS later, I walk back in because an oil change and inspection shouldn't take that long. Ms. C.R. could not remember that she ever attended me or that she had my file so who knows how long I would have waited had I not approached her. No apology of any kind. After a refresher on what I was there for, she found my file and informed me of the work that needed to be done. The price quoted was about $2450.00 which seemed about what I expected the repairs to cost. As it was nearing the end of the day, I left my vehicle and was told that it should be ready next-day by end of business. The end of the next day comes and I never received a call. The following morning, I called the dept. and would only reach voicemail. On my 5th try, I finally got someone and they told me that my car was being test-driven and I would get a call back... That afternoon, I got my callback and so I went to go pick up my vehicle. When I go to pay the balance, it's just over $3000! About $600 more than the price discussed. When Ms. C.R. was asked about it, she fumbled with her paperwork and said it was "taxes" and that she "forgot" to add the price of the oil change/tire rotation before walking away without even a goodbye. Again, no apology or gesture of any kind was made regarding such a substantial price difference. $600 is a lot to many people, and if I did not have the means to pay it at that time, what would have happened? By that time, I was in a rush as I was not expecting to pick up my car that late on that day, nor did I have any time to speak to a manager as I had to get back to work. Not a single thank-you from ANYONE at the place from the moment that I arrived to the moment that my keys were returned to me. read more

Took my daughters mazda there for a routine oil change. First impression with this place was Ghetto. Immediate internal feeling was regret and lack of any trust. While Smith Cairns was not perfect, the service and the people were very good and I never had an issue or felt any lack of trust. March 2023, Dishonest Service center. I went in because my brand new 2023 car was having a few hiccups. The man who received me used it as an opportunity to tune up my brand new 4month old car that has very few miles. They charged me @$100 for a tune up I didn't need. Initially when he mentioned it, I asked for the price but he changed the conversation. He said he'd call me; he lead me to believe that he'd call me with the price before doing the job--not what happened.
