Before he left asked if I need to pay next time while replacing part. He very clearly said there would be another labor $100 cost for me. Then he contacted me for replacement part within day, and he offered $400 for the item. I checked the replacement part price from online stores, it was never $400 at any store, and I found the same part with $150 price. Then I let him know not to order for the part, instead, I would order it. Now, the replacement part is ready and this company is requesting $250 for labor fee which we already discussed. Moreover, they are changing their speaking as if it was about distance of location. What is funny my home is pretty close to their location around 15 min most. Their behavior is not ethical, and I am not stupid. Briefly, if you want to spend more money in than regular cost , you can go with them.

This is my second time using BlueStar and I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. The…read morefirst time they fixed my furnace which had build up on a sensor which was an easy fix. John came out and was very straight forward and up front with everything he did. He explained the issue to me, how he would fix it, and even provided some recommendations I may want to do in the future. My second time I used Bluestar was on a Sunday and they are closed on Sunday's. I did not realize this at first and left them a voicemail in the morning. Realizing they were closed I called another company who would have charged me more than Bluestar to come out later that afternoon to look at the problem which was that my Nest Thermostat was giving an E73 error code meaning it was not getting power. To my surprise I received a call from John at Bluestar that afternoon prior to the other HVAC company coming out. I discussed my thermostat issue not getting power with John and he suggested several troubleshooting fixes I could try over the phone. After eliminating several causes of what the problem may be John suggested holding down the front panel cover switch to the unit to see if a power light was coming on. In doing this I noticed sometimes the light would come on and sometimes it would not. There seemed to be a loose connection in the a wire that was causing the switch not to supply power. After playing with the switch for a few minutes I got the power to stay on and the problem was fixed. John solved my problem and saved me a good deal of money as I canceled my appointment with the other HVAC company. John took over 20 minutes talking to me on the phone going above an beyond to help me solve my AC issue on the day the company is closed. I would highly recommend BluStar to anyone and will use them for all my future HVAC needs.
