Great spot to grab small Vietnamese bites or drinks like boba tea. The staff was super friendly and you can also order on their kiosk. The drinks were a little too sweet for my liking even at less sweet. The lavender matcha had a good touch to it.

Yum! This cute place now has vermicelli noodle bowls, along with banh mi, fresh rolls, boba tea, coffee drinks, etc. The food is fresh tasting and the service is friendly. This cafe is owned by the enterprising owner of Diva Nail Lounge next door, and her elegant touch shows in this new neighborhood venture.

This is a great spot to enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine such as boba, noodles, and sandwiches! From the moment you step in, the cozy ambiance and the smell of the freshly brewing tea welcome you warmly. What truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. The staff is kind, attentive, and ready to offer you recommendations based on your preferences. Whether you are local or passing by, you should definitely give Taste & Tell a try!

The workers are really kind and the cafe is super cute! My friend and I stopped by the get a bite here and we both enjoyed what we got! I liked that they cut the grilled patties into strips to make it easier to eat and the veggies made such a good juxtaposition to the meet. The jasmine milk tea was on the sweeter side but is what I expected without any adjustments. I think it's worth stopping by for a quick bite or if you wanna focus in on some work!

Super cute and aesthetically pleasing new Viet shop in Phinney Ridge/Green Lake area with Banh Mi, Bubble tea, Vietnamese desserts, and more! The owner and workers are really nice. Definitely a priced than other places that have similar items but I think it's a great option if you're close by. Love to support other Vietnamese women and local businesses. It definitely does not hurt because their banh mi and boba were delicious. I'll have to come back for more.

I was so excited to try the lava cookie as a lover or all things chocolate, but wasn't a huge fan of the cardamom. I think the pungent flavour definitely added a unique juxtaposition to the rich chocolate, but to me it was too reminiscent of taking the wrong bite of biryani and having to spit out a mouthful of spices. Thankfully my date had no such qualms and loved finishing my cookie for me! The crunchy crisp was his favourite part and he cleared the plate. My mocha was exceptional though, I loved the creamy texture of the milk and how perfectly the chocolate was incorporated into the drink! It was perfect until the last drop. My date also loved his latte and practically chugged the whole thing down! As a lover of Pokemon I especially adored all the decor, it was so cool seeing all the fun Pokemon cards and I just love the fun vibes and atmosphere of this spot!

Both were ready pretty quickly. The chai was spicy and not too sweet which I really liked. The egg sandwich was yummy too. Thick egg filling, with the chili sauce went well together. Pickles were a little too salty for me especially just to eat on the side. I guess you could put it inside the sandwich? But still, quite salty. Service was super friendly and welcoming, would definitely come again to try more of their seasonal drinks and food. A cocktail here sounds interesting as well!

This place is great! We arrived around 1:30pm on a Saturday which was the perfect time because we stepped right up to the counter, ordered, and found a table without waiting. I started off with the Zucchini Bread with Cardamom (no dairy, yay!). It was moist, just the right amount of sweetness, and delicious. Wish it had a stronger pop of cardamom, but I'd still definitely order it again. My hubs had the Ginger Scone which brought back sweet memories for him of going to the now-no-longer Cafe Besalu on 24th Ave NW and getting their famous ginger biscuit. He said this scone was just as good. Then we shared a whole rotisserie chicken (2 drumsticks with attached thighs, 2 chicken breasts with attached wings) that came with a salsa verde, lemon crema, and a spice mix. The fresh salsa verde was a beautiful condiment for the crispy and juicy chicken. We ate our fill and took one breast and wing home. Would order this dish again. Our cashier was friendly. The atmosphere while we ate was peaceful because of our timing. I can imagine it might be noisier at busy times. The cafe/restaurant has a gourmet foods, grab & go foods, and wine shop combined with it, which we browsed through after we ate. Might come here for some pulled rotisserie chicken to go if we just need some easy protein on a busy day. Super convenient option. Now that we've eaten here, I can see why so many people like Mainstay Provisions, and I really hope it's a mainstay in Ballard for many years to come.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Definitely coming back for the mushroom and Gruyère pastry and to try their other delicious flavors. Their supreme croissant flavor switches often and we can't wait to try the next one! We were thrilled to discover it's new management's plans and community, service oriented nature - not to mention their excellent breakfast sandwiches and good beverages! Type of cuisine: Cafe fare - espresso beverages, as well as non-caffeinated items for kids and those who prefer not to partake. Breakfast sandwiches, burritos, pastries. Ambiance: Large, expansive and spacious. There is a small patio with outdoor seating available, should you prefer to dine facing Aurora's traffic congestion. But inside, office furniture helps create separte-feeling booth-like seating with small coffee/end tables for your purchases. Large tables, too, conference sized grace the main space for those wishing to work alone on devices, or engage in conversation among friends and family. An open area also exists, accounting for about one-third of the entire room, which allows for gathering while standing, as well as providing ample space for lines to grow and distance to be maintained (covid-safe). What I ordered: On most ever visit, I stick with my favorites: the bacon breakfast sandwich (if you like the bacon crispy, as that it be cooked out of the sandwich and alongside then placed inside), the sweet potato scone, the sausauge breakfast sandwich and the slightly spicy, vegan potato, bean burrito. My beverage of choice is the Melanin Mocha (dark chocolate moch), though I've also ordered the blackberry mocha, and a couple of others. My husband always sticks with The Karen (white chocolate mocha), while our children enjoy a cup of steamed milk with caramel sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles with their food. What I loved: Everything about this place; namely its mission and complete devotion to the youth and community. Empowerment is strong in this space and the food and drinks are a bonus that amplify and support the work being done. Why I loved it: For all of the reasons listed above - and more. Cost: Average
