I normally love true food kitchen. But I feel like this time around it was a miss, could be what I…read moreordered. I wanted to try their "chicken fingers" and fries. The chicken tenders were very flat and felt meatless. Pretty dry, I know everything here is fresh and healthier however the chicken lacked flavor and did taste like frozen (which obviously I know they aren't) anyways, fries were regular nothing extravagant. We ordered a pizza too (not pictured) and that was good, always love their pizzas. I'd visit again just get a different dish.

I appreciate how seamless the takeout experience is. I order online, pick it up or get it delivered and it's right every time. That being said, I have *dined in* a handful of times and the service here is not great. Each time, we've had several items come out incorrect, items missed, neglected by our server and begging for refills... a server even tried to gaslight us into thinking we ordered differently (an item I'm literally unable to eat) and we had to replay the events back to her. It's not a good look for such a nice establishment. Fortunately we've always been comped for server mistakes. I'll continue to order takeout, I'll even dine in again (the food is that good) but I will come with lower expectations; I won't bring clients here anymore, maybe just casual lunch with hubby.

I've dined in once, takeout/curbside at least 3 times. My dine in experience was interesting. I…read morestarted by being waited on by Olivia, she was really nice but if I recall correctly, she told me the mgr told her to clock out so then I got Wenzell. He was not giving that nice (not mean but just straight up and down) at first but I think that's just his demeanor. He was a good server as well. He brought me my fried catfish and I immediately asked him to take it back. Too light skin, needed some browning and crisping. Unfortunately, ordering the fish (which is literally the one thing I get) is a toss up. One take out that fish was delicious, cooked perfectly! Perfectly seasoned and crisp.....oh my gosh! I took a bite then ended up pulling over to eat the rest of it while still hot. And then the other two take outs...btw, fish is never nasty but they take it out the fryer too quick and you can't write notes on the order to let them know you'd like a crispier filet. The sides I rotate, I typically order 3. The dumplings are good but I always take them home and zhuzh them up with rotisserie chicken. I also like the turnip greens with the pepper vinegar, hash brown casserole. The mac & cheese is a gamble. Also the bread/muffins aren't always warm in curbside but when they are, so good with the whipped butter. I don't eat nor typically like bread like that but Cracker Barrel is one of the few I enjoy! I just wish I knew who cooked the fish that one time, I'd come back on their shifts!

We had no complaints as we enjoyed conversation sitting in the rocking chairs out front. When we were seated our food & drunk orders were taken pretty quickly. I ordered the strawberry peach lemonade and it was very refreshing and delicious. For my meal I asked about the southern fried chicken but I only wanted wings, the staff notified me they couldn't accommodate my request so I ended up ordering the meatloaf with loaded mashed potatoes and fried apples instead. When the food arrived it was a process to simply get silverware, napkins and condiments to our table. So much so that one of the employees started arguing back and forth with us which was completely unprofessional. My meatload was good. Portion size was plenty leaving me with a little for lunch the next day. My potatoes were not only thick but also lukewarm which made them impossible to enjoy. They also did not come loaded but by the time I saw the waiter again it wasn't worth mentioning. The apples were perfect as always. I have never been a huge fan of Cracker Barrel and today's visit did not change my mind.

I had a wood-fired pizza from the specials menu which was delicious and perfectly cooked They also have a great wine list and a solid cocktail menu, so there are plenty of options no matter what you're in the mood for. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, I believe his name was Chase, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had the typical chill attitude you'd expect from a local bar. Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks, great service, and excellent value. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in West Palm Beach.

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. Perfectly charred, incredibly delish. The clams more than made up for the subpar mussels I had elsewhere the night before, too. My husband got the BBQ pizza and was very happy - both for dinner, and for the next day's lunch. I got the chicken parm, and also had plenty for a large lunch the next day. (and the green beans that came with were also JUST the way i like them - not overcooked, garlicy, and delish). Zero complaints. We won't be able to navigate a second visit this trip, but would 100% put it on our to-dos the next time.
