What an amazing restaurant. Setting is in an old church located near the square of Lagrange. We were greeted immediately and given a table. Our waitress Janet came by and took our drink order and gave us the menus. She was so sweet to our granddaughter and made her a little plate of food after taking our order. The food came out quickly and was so delicious. I never had to ask for a drink refill because of great service. My wife had the special which was the poppyseed chicken and I had the pork chop. Can't wait to go back again and bring some friends.

I have wanted to eat here for a long time but they are only open for lunch. Today was my lucky day. The food and service are very southern. I tried all the vegetables and the peach cobbler. Food was delicious. It's mostly local people ordering and eating here which is comforting. They charged extra for cards so bring cash .

Southern style prepared food, simple and always good. Never tough to eat. Comes out soon after ordering. Pleasant and friendly staff. Neat environment, was an old church.

This was ok. It is a "meat and 3" lunch spot located in a former church. There is one large dining room where all the pews used to be. Service is prompt and friendly. The food is served on an undivided plate so if you don't want the juice from your greens and peas to run into the rice your chicken sits on you had better ask them to put the veggies in little bowls for you. I learned this after the fact while we were paying.

The salad plate- seven salads and a lot to eat!

The atmosphere is special and the home-style food is delicious. We had the salad plate, chicken and vegetables, and the pork chop and vegetables. Of course, who could pass on the desserts when peach cobbler and peanut butter pie are on the menu? Both desserts were outstanding.

Five Stars -- This Place Saved the Trip…read more Let me set the scene. We were heading to Callaway Gardens to pick up some Venice jewelry (I'll talk about that later), when I discovered that the Oyster House -- the seafood spot I was counting on -- was permanently closed according to Yelp. I was devastated. Like... fully prepared to cancel Pine Mountain altogether. I was having a whole moment. Then I did a little digging and found out that Eddie Mae's Kountry Kitchen & Oyster Bar had the same owner. I found this out before we arrived, and I knew immediately -- we HAD to stop there. And let me tell you... January 3, 2026 -- this is all I needed in my life. This is GOOD seafood. Like, really good seafood. Freshly cooked. Hot. Flavorful. Done right. The service? AMAZING. The people? Warm, genuine, country hospitality at its finest. The vibe? Real, welcoming, and comfortable -- no nonsense, just good food and good people. Food. Service. Atmosphere. People. Clean restaurant. Clean restrooms. Five stars across the board. I'll be honest -- I will never come to Pine Mountain again unless I know Eddie Mae's is open. I need y'all to hang in there with me because otherwise I can't even travel outside of Atlanta for real. If you want legit seafood, incredible service, and that authentic country goodness -- this is the place.

We found Eddie Mae's by simply searching for local breakfast locations on our phones. There wasn't much around, so we figured we'd give this place a try. We were not disappointed! I failed to take a photo of the menu, so going off memory here... I think I ordered the Western Omelette with hash browns & a biscuit. The omelette was HUGE & the biscuit melted in your mouth. I look leftovers home & would definitely order again! The boys both had the Grand Slam I believe with meat, eggs, grits (added cheese) & pancakes - it also provided a large portion and abundant flavor! The staff was super friendly & hospitable. They work very hard! The restaurant is a little outdated, but it feels like authentic & well-loved. Next time, we'll try to get there before 11am to try their breakfast buffet - it was all lunch items by time we arrived.

We ordered mussels to share. 12 good sized mussels, flavorful broth, very garlicky. Lukewarm. Server didn't bring bowls for shells or proper small forks.Three small pieces of plain toasted French bread slices to sop up broth- not enough, no flavor. I ordered the duck and asked specifically for medium well with crispy skin. Came medium rare with soggy skin under a raspberry purée. I couldn't eat it, but didn't bother sending it back. If they can't even try to get it right the first time, why bother. My husband ate mine and I ate his pork chop- dry, no flavor. They didn't have any decaf coffee and server offered to brew a pot of regular coffee. For gods sake get a keurig. Creme brûlée was tasteless. Overall a below than average performance for a "fine dining" establishment. Won't go back.
