I love it here! The main waitress is the best. She's so personable and funny. I love their basic Italian menu with all of Italy's classics. Their white slices of pizza are also great! It's such a homey vibe in there, like you feel right at home in Wayne. read more

We ordered pizza and Fried Calamari. The pizza was great as usual but the fried Calamari was terrible. We couldn't eat it. The description and picture on the menu are different from what was delivered. I didn't realize I could post a picture here. If I did I would have taken one. Worst experience i have ever had just to order something for delivery, it took 2 people 15 min to just take the address, gave it to them 4 times and finally asked me what i wanted, he told me it would be 40 min which i said no problem, and the gentleman proceeded to tell me it takes long to prepare (not sure why it's just a dish of pasta) which i said again no problem, he then said I should just come to pick it up, I asked why don't you deliver to the same town you're in which he responded they will not deliver, 20 min just to tell me that after they had the address 4 times. I ordered delivery via Slice. I ordered the Nonna pizza with half sausage and it's the best pizza I have had in a long time - and I went to Pizza Bowl. Well tonight was a night of trial and error. For some reason pasta was on the brain so decided to try something new to us. I've never had stuffed mushrooms that were drenched in a broth. And I have stuffed mushrooms made by my off the boat family almost every Sunday - so that's interesting. Soggy mushrooms make the contents of the "stuffing" insignificant because half falls out or is drenched just seems like a waste. The same could be said for the eggplant rollatini appetizer. There are chunks of onion in the vodka sauce (which, as far as the order goes, is our fault; it does say it's in there) which is strange and kind of a waste. The chicken and spinach dish is exactly what it is except was quite wet and flavorless. I know that cooked spinach can be wet but it just seemed soupy. We didn't order the bread knots but they were dense and dry (the ones they gave). The bread that comes with the meals is good! Not not crispy if that's your jam. I'd say mediocre is the best descriptor. Won't be back, unfortunately. read more

I already new what I wanted but looked over the menu just to be sure. Stuck to my original thoughts and ordered the large calzone. Word of warning, this is a BIG CALZONE. I really enjoyed the quality of the food. Had a meatball, pepperoni and mushroom calzone. Quality ingredients and really good dough. Service was strong. The waiter was attentive but not overbearing. I was very happy with the service that I received. Overall this was a great place to grab some food. They have an extensive menu and from what I was told by other people, everything is good. Great local spot with tasty pizza, appetizers and main courses. We live close by and so happy with the new owners - the old "Tony's Touch of Italy" had miserable sauce and the pizza was sub par; under the new owners and new name "Taste of Tuscany" this place has undergone a wonderful awakening. We had a white pie on two separate occasions and it was A+. We also tried the regular pies and were very satisfied. We dined in both times and were happy with our appetizers and mains. I really hate leaving bad reviews because owning a small business like a restaurant can be very difficult. BUT I came on a Sunday and felt like I was on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. The poor waiter seemed to be understaffed but there weren't that many guests in the restaurant, nor did I notice much food flowing out of the kitchen or pickup or delivery orders. The water and drinks came quick but it took maybe 15 minutes just to take our order and another 15 for bread. And then the salad... and then finally an hour later our first appetizer. The busboy was rude AF but lightened up eventually. I don't understand how they were running the place. The mussels were tiny and definitely frozen, the guests I was with had been here before and said the food was much better last time. Not sure what happened, maybe new owners? The waiter was nice and apologetic and I think he was obviously overwhelmed. I really like the fact you get free garlic knots with your pizza, however they have let me down too many times. Once our pizza took over an hour to arrive. When it did it was cold. Next, I ordered half pepperoni, half plain. When the pizza arrived it was cold, the pepperoni was clearly thrown on the pie after if had already been cooked, as if it was a slice pie that had been sitting around all day. Solid pizza and casual Italian dishes. My go-to is the Nonna's (grandma pie) but the typical round pies are also prepared well. The pies are nicely browned and crispy--but still pliable enough to fold. Recently we tried the Caesar salad and the dressing really surprised me, I was expecting the usual pre-made stuff, but it tasted like it was made in-house. Tasting Tuscany is located right off of Valley Rd in Wayne. There's plenty of parking r it at in front. The restaurant is decently size for sit down dining, and it's byob. Our waitress, Nancy was great! Fun personality and super easy to talk to. We ordered the spadini for an appetizer. Lots of mozzarella, bread was crispy on the edges. It was a little too soaked in the lemon sauce, but it still tasted good. For entrees we ordered chicken francese over capellini, and chicken cardinali. The francese was very good. Lemon sauce was a bit too lemony for my taste but you bet that I'm eating the leftovers for lunch tomorrow! the chicken cardinali was dressed with prosciutto and eggplant. Sauce wasn't too heavy and the prosciutto added the perfect amount of salt to the dish. Next time we're coming back for a slice of pizza! read more
