Representing 2024 in alphabet series, T is for Taste Tea. I went to Taste Tea 3 times, every time I was in Arbutus in 2023-2024. Staff is nice, and drinks aren't too overpriced like Gong Cha. Quality is solid, but I'll admit I like Gong Cha even better, but for the value for the money, this is better. They are pretty quick. My one compliant was that one of the times I went, it was really hot in there, perhaps the day of the Arbutus Festival in May 2024. If in Arbutus, this is a solid option for a bubble tea.

Mango Milk Tea w/ Blueberry and Matcha Milk Tea

This was a cute little boba spot that I had no idea existed! My bestie and I just came from lunch and she mentioned it to me on a whim. Of course I had to try it! I won't really speak on the service, but there was one employee making the drinks and he was HUSTLIN. By the time my bestie and I ordered, it got super busy. The Matcha Milk Tea was really really good, it wasn't super earthy and even the tapioca was nice and sweet. I got my boyfriend the Mango Tea w/ Blueberry and he really liked it as well. I gotta come back and try the food next time.

I DoorDash my order of brow sugar milk tea, I asked not to get a salty milk cap but of course I received one. I have never had issues with this establishment before, tonight. My drink came bland and sad, I did not see the brown sugar sauce they usually lace around the cup. Workers should work efficiently until closing, and not get lazy their job. I hope they take this review into consideration.

I love their customer service. Their Cantonese food is delicious and flavorful. The drinks are amazing, especially the Tiger Brown Milk Tea. No wonder it was named "Taste Tea"( the owner was cool but his pant is kinda weird )

Coconut vanilla milk tea with coffee jelly and milk pudding

I like this place a lot. They are close to my work, so it's very convenient for me. Their drinks are flavorful and come in large sizes. Since they are a smaller shop with limited staffing, sometimes they do not open on time, so I usually call to make sure that they are open when I go to lunch at 12. They usually have all the toppings available, but today, they were out of pudding and grass jelly. As a result, I tried something new: Tiramisu milk tea, which came with coffee jelly, soooo delicious! The staff are nice and helpful. The place is small and cute, I'll definitely keep going back since this is a nice tea shop so close to my work,

Great customer service from the manager! Their selection of bobba, frappes, smoothies, etc is great and I love that you can easily customize the jelly, fruit and other mix-ins. Also, you can customize the level of sweetness 100, 75, 50 or 25. We love the brown sugar boba, the lychee bloosm, and matcha (pastachio) coffee drinks. You can substitute almond milk in this drink if needed. Great place!!!

Since I was in the area and could always drink a good bubble tea, decided to give Taste Tea a try. Yelpers didn't stir me wrong with this one! Parking could be tricky, but is available along the street or super tiny lot adjacent to the store. There's also a few tables inside if you decide to drink your beverage there. They offer a variety of drinks including milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, lemonade, coffee, and specialty drinks. They also offer tons of topping choices (regular boba, popping boba, jellies, pudding, foam). Starred items on their menu are customer favorites. Note only small and large sizes are available. They no longer offer a medium sized beverage. Decided on the tiger cream milk with boba. I never had tiger milk tea before, so wasn't sure what to expect, but enjoyed my drink. It wasn't super sweet or overwhelming in taste. I can definitely see how this tea got it's name from the look of my drink when I first got it. The boba was cooked well, soft and not super chewy. Also tried some of the strawberry smoothie and strawberry lemonade, which C&N both liked. I plan to be back when I'm in the area, which is probably when I head back for some Hawaiian food not too far away (~1 min drive depending on if you hit that traffic light!).

Was on the area and wanted bubble tea so found this place on Yelp! It's a small space and I can see how parking can be tricky, but I went on a Tuesday afternoon so was able to find a place right in front. I just got the classic black milk tea with bubbles. The milk tea was a bit sugary on the first sip but with time, once the ice melted a bit, it was a good level and tasty. The bubbles were the right texture of chewy! Would visit again. FYI, for parking I was told you can park cross street for free 15min parking!

My daughter and I go here often. The latest thing I had that was really good is Tiger Brown Sugar Milk Tea w/Almond Milk, Black Boba & Egg Pudding. Very good!

Looking for a tasty treat? Look no further than Taste Tea!!! A hidden gem with lots to offer so they are sure to have something on the menu to satisfy your sweet tooth. They offer an array of fruit teas, smoothies, bubble teas (to include popping bubbles) and milk teas. My selections on this trip were the Butterfly Mango Fruit Tea with mango topping which was a sweet treat but not overly sweet. I also got a Strawberry Smoothie with whipped cream blended in and strawberry popping bubbles and it tastes like eating a fresh strawberry. Since its off season for picking strawberries at the strawberry patch, you can grab this smoothie and sip on them instead. Last but definitely not least the Tiger Cream ~ a Brown Sugar Milk Tea which has black milk tea, brown sugar boba and contains whole milk but they do have the option of almond milk as well!! Flavors is key and this one is a winner in my book and well worth every sip. If you are in doubt, tiger it out! The location is clean and is observing all safety precautions to ensure the well being of the staff and its guests. There is a hard plastic barrier at the register for extra safety that the staff stands behind to take your order. Masks are worn and required for service as well. Staff is so friendly and helpful and will even offer recommendations based on your likes if requested. Prices are reasonable as well for the size of the drinks so your coins are well spent. If you are in the area, you need to pop into this bubble tea shop!!

Been here twice now, at least a year apart. It's decent bubble tea and does the trick to satisfy the urge! I got yogurt green tea and butterfly mango, both were great! I wish they had more bubbles .. a little tiny on the portion. Overall tastes great and glad to find another convenient tea spot besides parking. It'd be nice to have online ordering so can pick up easily to avoid parking issues. I'll be back to try orange green tea!

My receipt: ordered at 5:35 and now leaving at 6:20

This place is a whole vibe - definitely a beautiful bright spot in an otherwise desolate Baltimore Harbor. They have an amazingly varied selection of teas - there were so many I wanted to try (I wish they didn't only offer the tea flight on Saturday). They also had a beautiful array of cakes and cookies and muffins and scones, etc. We tried a few treats (pound cake, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry muffin) and they were all amazing! Everything was delicious and a perfect compliment to our tea. As a tea snob, I was very grateful for the beautiful tea mugs they used for our tea. This place is a whole vibe and made for a perfect Sunday afternoon!

I got the sapphire blue tea that had chamomile, Peabody, mango and other herbs. It was delicious and they made it for me then brought it to where I was sitting. They have pastries as well. The place was quiet and welcoming. I would definitely come back and bring some friends for tea time!

The date from online was mediocre (1 date, no 2nd date), but the drink was far superior to Kung Fu Tea, which I always had a pretty high regard for until that June 2021 day. I visited a few other times in 2024-2025. A Meetup group I'm a part of likes to go here after the dinner & game Meetup. The staff is accommodating as we are rushing to get here before 10 PM closing time, really by 9:45. The organizer of the Meetup suggested ordering ahead on the app, so they aren't so slammed with 10 (or whatever #) of people 15 minutes before closing. I heeded his advice. They are efficient getting the drinks done in a timely manner. Staff is nice, and they aren't abrupt with kicking us out the second it hits 10 PM (like Starbucks the very second it's closing time, they will practically yell at you to get the heck out of there). At Gong Cha, the staff is polite about it, and we try to still rush to clean up and get out. My girlfriend & I will split the largest size for cost & calorie efficiency. Overall, a delicious boba tea. I will say it's a bit on the expensive side in 2025 even compared with some other places, but it's still a solid choice.

My wife chose to build her own omelette and I chose the Loaded Chicken and Waffle - bacon, buttermilk fried chicken, maple, sunny side up egg, green onion, maple butter. Rather than being greeted or seated, I was handed a menu across the counter and instructed to return to the same counter when I was ready to place my order. Hoping to start simply, I requested a coffee. I was given a mug and told the coffee station was self-service. Regrettably, that mug should have been inspected more carefully before use. After preparing my own coffee and taking the first sip, I noticed an unpleasant waxy sensation on my lips. A quick glance at the rim revealed the unmistakable mark of lipstick from a previous guest. It was both unhygienic and deeply off-putting. The food itself did little to redeem the experience. The omelette arrived topped with onions that were cold and soggy, and the interior was filled with undercooked egg that had an unappetizing, gelatinous texture. The French toast, meanwhile, was notably dry and lacked the richness and balance one would expect from a well-executed brunch staple. I make a point of supporting local, independent establishments whenever possible, often choosing them over chain restaurants. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of expectations and left me wishing I had made a different choice.
