Stopped in for the very first time after having dinner. We were excited to see they had the bubble waffle, it's one of our favorite things when we visit Vegas but haven't found a place here. They were friendly, the service was fast and efficient. Cute spot, Instagram friendly, and they even have games if you want to sit and hang out for a little bit. I actually stopped by the next day to grab a milk foam Vietnamese iced coffee and it was delicious! I'll definitely visit again to try something else and will probably bring the grands. Representing 2021 in alphabet series is G is for Gong Cha. The first time I visited was on a very hot afternoon in June 2021 on a date. The date from online was mediocre (1 date, no 2nd date), but the drink was far superior to Kung Fu Tea, which I always had a pretty high regard for until that June 2021 day. I visited a few other times in 2024-2025. A Meetup group I'm a part of likes to go here after the dinner & game Meetup. The staff is accommodating as we are rushing to get here before 10 PM closing time, really by 9:45. The organizer of the Meetup suggested ordering ahead on the app, so they aren't so slammed with 10 (or whatever #) of people 15 minutes before closing. I heeded his advice. They are efficient getting the drinks done in a timely manner. Staff is nice, and they aren't abrupt with kicking us out the second it hits 10 PM (like Starbucks the very second it's closing time, they will practically yell at you to get the heck out of there). At Gong Cha, the staff is polite about it, and we try to still rush to clean up and get out. My girlfriend & I will split the largest size for cost & calorie efficiency. Overall, a delicious boba tea. I will say it's a bit on the expensive side in 2025 even compared with some other places, but it's still a solid choice. read more

Love a good boba drink! The service is so nice and fast and the drinks are even better. The kiosk ordering was nice and there's SO many options. I chose the creme brûlée strawberry latte and added boba! It was delicious, definitely sweet so more of a dessert. This was my first visit to a Gong Cha location. I have always seen these stores at shopping centers, but never stepped in. There was a special event on 7/27/24 with k-pop group BTS as the theme. Their music was playing and photos were posted on the walls. You may order at the front counter or at a kiosk. We tried the matcha milk tea and mango green tea. Our orders were ready in 5 minutes. I returned today for the first time since they opened. The service was great. They have ordering stations now, which I am not sure were present during my initial visit. The staff person was very helpful with this order, as I was looking for a beverage with no added sugar. He provided a good amount of information about their beverages and suggested a good option for me. Based on his recommendation, I ordered the Purple Sweet Potato drink. The drink had a pretty color, but little to no flavor. I think the milk was the most prominent flavor in this one. I am pretty sure that added sugar would have made a big difference. The staff member had already informed me that it wouldn't be a richly flavored drink and he even offered to make something different if I did not like it. The drink was what I requested, which was unsweetened, so I drank. I really thought his customer service delivery was really good. We drank our beverages at the window bar. Very nicely decorated! Beautiful! I ordered their Peach Teaffogato, which is like a peach slushy with black tea according to the staff there. It wasn't bad at all. We also added a peach jelly as topping in our drink. If you check in, you should receive 1 free topping to claim in the store. I also ordered their original egg waffle. This is the first Gong Cha place I saw that has egg waffle. One of the reason that draws me here because Gong Cha that I've been to in Philly doesn't have egg waffle! And surprisingly, it was not too bad. I like the crispy texture but in my opinion, the taste is missing some egg flavor though. Overall, I would go back for more. Gong cha is the cutest! The decor is so on trend and it's a pretty welcoming environment. I love the kiosk and the teas. My daughter and the tried the original tea and I tried a strawberry/cream tea. I like that you're able to alter the level of sweetness so I was able to cut mine in half as I don't like super sweet drinks and you're even able to edit the amount of ice. Again, I just downed my entire drink without taking a pic. I will work on that since this place and the drinks are stunning. The drinks are a little bit addicting and at $6-$7 each, I need to slow down. But I can't! What's in them? I prefer all the fruit teas, but the milk teas are also amazing. I did not care for the milk foam since it tasted like cheese. I think it's supposed to taste like that so I pass. Cannot wait for it to get warmer again so I can work through some of the smoothies. My all time fave is the Little Star peach green tea and the peach oolong. See a pattern there. The caramel milk tea is also delicious. Basically, it's hard to go wrong here. They have a flavor combo for everyone, but if you don't get mango popping boba at least once, you are just wrong. What really puts this Gong Cha over the top is the staff. They are just the nicest and most polite. They show great patience in helping you pick a drink as well. The space is pretty and very comfortable. It can get crowded on weekend nights but the staff is very efficient and the waits are short. Finally some good bobba tea on the mainland. My hubby and I tried this place on a whim the other day while we waited for his new car to be delivered. I read about them on yelp and really thought the inside was cool. It was also giving bobba home tea vibes....our place for bobba in Hawai'i. The young man behind the counter was super helpf, although without my contacts in there was no helping me, since I am essentially a blind bat. I popped in here between hitting Dollar Tree and Michael's. This bubble tea place is adorable and the staff behind the counter were helpful and sweet too. Cute little bubble tea shop with plenty of parking. It sits next to a Safeway and other establishments so it's easy to navigate to. The store is very clean and there's tons of options to choose from. Their menu is pretty big and the service is great. I was greeted and placed my order. I was told they had strawberry and mango icecream that evening. It's really expensive to eat here.wow.. I got a brown sugar latte and a chocolate bubble waffle with strawberry icecream and it was $24. I don't understand how or why .. but geez. I happened to be in the area and in need of a serious afternoon pick-me-up. I'm not much of a coffee drinker so bubble tea it is! Gong Cha is located in the Arundel Mills area but it's across from the mall in the same shopping strip as Safeway and Panera Bread. Upon entering, I was greeted by an employee who asked me to check my temperature. They have a temperature scanner at the counter where they ask you to place your forehead in front of it to check your temperature. Next, I waited in line to place my order. I ended up going for the dirty brown sugar tea with bubbles. The drink was sweetened just right and the boba were soft and slightly chewy...the perfect texture in my opinion. Make sure to give your drink a good shake before drinking to distribute the sweetness evenly. I felt that I drank most of the sugar at the beginning and lost sweetness at the end. It was still a good drink though and I look forward to returning to try other items. They seem to have a pretty extensive drink menu and there were a few other things that caught my eye. Customer service was friendly and if you don't automatically scan your temperature, they kindly ask you to do so. DISRESPECTFUL STAFF!!! I have been to Gongcha ArundelMill for several times. But on Thursday night, I asked the cashier guy if they have menu for the hot drinks. The cashier guy told me that it shows on their menu with the red circle. When I looked at their menu, it was literally hard to see the red circle (I attach the picture of their menu below). So I asked the guy again because I coulndt see any. The guy asked me "ARE YOU COLOR-BLIND?". I was shocked. Then he asked me to use the kiosk to place order. The staff was super friendly and everyone greeted me with warm smiles including the gorgeous owner that seemed to be stopping by, but took the time to ring me up and was all smiles. The Arundel Mills location is absolutely gorgeous with many photo opportunities and the staff were very warm & welcoming upon arrival! I loved that this location has a self-serve kiosk because I can see all of the customizations in front of me. I decided to go with the Taro Coconut Milk with Pearls & Crème Brulee Foam. The Taro Coconut Milk Tea was flavorful, not too sweet and refreshing. When I got to the end, I mixed in the foam with the milk tea and it was delicious. My family went with me on this trip and I also tried out their drinks, The Strawberry Earl Grey Smoothie and Rose Lychee Green Tea w/ Rose Pearl. The smoothie was a seasonal drink that was tasty and perfectly sweet. It came with Oreo Crumbles so it was like a chocolate covered strawberry in a cap. How can I write a review on a place when I can't actually sample what they offer. I was driving by last Wednesday when all of a sudden my son stated, oh, that's a tea place. Huh huh what what? It took a couple seconds right to register but soon I was turning around because for the last few weeks I've been looking and wanting matcha. Yes I just ordered something online but I didn't pick it up yet and I want a local place where I can get me a matcha smoothie. As we parked I looked towards the store I noticed the decor. Was that a cherry blossom tree full bloom in the store? Why yes, it was. As we walked closer, I noticed there were lights, gold balloons, a photo backdrop, and some sort of raffle was going on because people seemed to be putting paper slips into a metal drum. Yep, this was the place for me. The line reached the door which signify this was definitely the place for me to be lol. I can appreciate a long line because it gives me the opportunity to glance over the menu as well as listen to what other people order and see their reactions after they try it. I had made my choice and two drinks were on the end of my tongue waiting for my turn. Both contained matcha and I was excited to order. As I attempted to place my order, I asked the young lady behind the counter if the products contained milk. She informed me they did contain dry milk powder and they did not have any non-dairy options besides juice drinks. . . . I don't know what hit the floor first, my face or my heart. No almond milk or soy milk either? Nope . . . . none. (insert crying face emoji) Why, why, why, why? After waiting in line, after deciding to stop; I left the store heartbroken. The love story between me and boba tea started at Gong Cha. I've been here more times that I would like to admit and I've never left unsatisfied. Even when an order was made incorrectly, they quickly fixed it and threw in a treat for the inconvenience. The staff here are amazing! Literally. I've met the owners are they are the sweetest and their dedication to making everyone's experience special. The decor at this specific location is BEAUTIFUL and it left me in awe when I first visited. It is welcoming, clean, and elegant in every sense. They even have games for people to play while they enjoy their treats. My personal favorites are the Dirty Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with Pearl + Egg Waffle with cookies and cream ice cream. The egg waffle is chewy, crispy and perfectly sweet. I have yet to have boba tea as good as Gong Cha's and I look forward to coming back for my usual order. To the owners of this location, THANK YOU. Ever since moving to Maryland from Hawaii, I've been trying to find another boba tea place very similar to the one that I've always went to back home and, to be honest, I may just have found the one. The exterior doesn't seem much but inside it has this cute cherry blossom tree (great for a photo op) and picture wall to pose with your drink after taking a long sip. My go to has always been the brown sugar milk tea and after trying some places, it didn't quite satisfy me unlike Gong Cha in Arundel Mills. It's not too sweet and it doesn't have that powder taste to it. The pearls were cooked just right where it's not too hard but not too soft either. Not to mention the Creme Bruleé milk foam on top of it all. The time I went it wasn't busy but I noticed that they do have two kiosks. I'm guessing for the times if it does get busy. The lady at the front was so very nice while taking my order and gave me the complimentary free topping for checking in on yelp. I came here one evening with my boyfriend. I had ordered the Peach Sparkling Tea and he had ordered the Lychee Oolong Tea. Unfortunately, our beverages got mixed up and I got the Peach Oolong Sparkling Tea, while he got the Lychee Sparkling Tea. Prior to checking out Gong Cha, Kung Fu Tea had been my go-to bubble tea joint- Gong Cha was promoting a 50% off first app use promo code, so I figured why not change it up to get a discount; very happy to have discovered this location! Compared to Kung Fu tea: Location: It was a lot easier to visit- located in a strip mall, there was lot of parking, with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Ordering from the app-the customer service was great; they let us know what was ready and what they waited to make so it was fresh when we arrived (i.e scooping ice cream into the waffle). It was also super easy to scan our payment method, reducing contact & waiting times. Menu choices: Their menu had A LOT more options (including drink core flavors, drink combo options, and unique toppings). All their options were well listed out in a section-by-section menu, complete with caffeine & caffeine-free labels, add-your-topping menu choices, and the option to reduce sugar & ice. It was easier to navigate and customize. Order-wise: I opted for the purple sweet potato black tea with coconut jelly- the drink was absolutely delicious-though I wish they gave me the thicker wider straw for the jelly (to-go packing error) because I ended up having to open the drink and use a spoon to get to the jellies. But they provided a lot of jellies to add flavor Hubby ordered the Earl Grey 3J's drink, which was LOADED with toppings. A very well-made delicious drink. We also added on an original waffle with cookies & cream ice cream-figuring why not try it since we get 50% off- ultimately, I've very glad we got the discount- otherwise this wouldn't have been worth it. The waffle was very plain tasting, with no spice (could have used cinnamon or vanilla extract etc)- the scoop of ice cream was very tiny- we spread it across the waffle but there was barely enough to enjoy the entire waffle with ice cream in each bite- very skimpy indeed. They also don't provide the option of toppings (other places you can add a lot of things like mochi, sprinkles, chocolate, etc. but this was very plain). We will be back to try other drink options- I like their easy ordering custom drink accessibility and app rewards, but will stick to drinks only. read more

This place is right by the mall and within the strip mall with Panera and Jersey Mike. The inside the store is decorated pretty nicely. I ordered Taro milk and Milk foam OG Vietnamese Coffee with bubbles. I came to this location because other Gong Cha locations doesn't seem to sell the Vietnamese coffee drink. I'm so glad I came to try it out. It was pretty delicious I kind of wish they opened earlier though so I can have them earlier in the day seeing that I'm a bit sensitive to caffeine. I was a bit overwhelmed with the menu drinks (many options!), but found myself getting may go-to drink-- Taro smoothie. My go to these days have been the milk foam Black Forest, which isn't really a drink it's a dessert full of boba, herbal jelly, and milk foam. Delicious! Their usual milk teas and brown sugar milk teas are good as well, I usually get 30-50% less sugar depending on how sweet I want my drink that day. I try to stay away from drinks with caffeine if it's past noon so I've been trying their caffeine free options, and wish they had more.
