What a beautiful place! We searched for local boba shops with high ratings, and Tastea Boba was our pick--and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a pink, festively decorated space that was very clean, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. Each table even had a boxed game in the center, which was such a fun and unique touch. As we waited in line, we could hear the employee patiently explaining menu items and asking thoughtful questions to help customers choose the perfect drink. When it was our turn, we received that same level of care and attention. To our surprise, we learned the shop is woman-owned, and the owner herself was the one walking us through the menu--so impressive and refreshing to see. My daughter chose an Oreo shake with blueberry popping boba and absolutely loved it. We can't wait to come back and try more. Highly recommend! read more

This shop is so cute!! Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! I stopped into Tastea for a pick me up while out running some errands and am SO sad I didn't get to stay longer. This place is just too adorable and the menu looked just as sweet. It had a good mix of popular choices and local favorites, and their Bubble Waffles looked like they'd be a fun treat. I ordered a Matcha Latte Milk Tea with Pearl Boba and enjoyed it quite a bit! There wasn't a lot of focus on the matcha flavor which was fine as it was refreshing nonetheless. It was mixed well and wasn't too sweet, nor was the Boba. The Boba wasn't too chewy or under cooked either, and though I couldn't tell if it was made with honey or brown sugar the sweet flavor was pleasant. Next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to return. The ube matcha was just right--not overly sweet, which I loved. The shop itself is clean, cute, and cozy, with a really welcoming vibe. The staff was super friendly, and I even got to chat with the owner, who mentioned they just opened a couple of months ago. While out shopping, I noticed this place and decided to stop in after seeing the posted hours on the door stating they close at 9 PM (Monday-Friday). I arrived a few minutes before 8 PM and was greeted politely. I ordered my drink and briefly stepped away to use the restroom. When I returned, the same employee who had initially been pleasant said rudely, "For future reference, we close at eight." I apologized and pointed out that the door clearly states 9 PM. She offered no explanation - just glared at me. As I was leaving, she laughed with another employee and locked the door behind me. The behavior was unprofessional and unnecessary. If the business closes at 8 PM, the posted hours should reflect that. Based on this experience and the confusion surrounding their own listed hours, I will not be returning. read more

Tried it for the first time yesterday! Absolutely delicious! You are greeted as soon as you enter. It was clean and I wanted to stay and enjoy the place, but I had to run errands, so I was able to take my delicious taro smoothie with me. I love how they added cool whip and sprinkles to the top. I did not show that in the picture because I couldn't resist and I finished the top of the cool whip before I could even get in my car. Ended up going back and buying the same thing for my daughter!
