This cute shop has tons of great paleta flavors. They have water and milk based options. You pick one as your base and add all the toppings you want for 50 cents each. I tried the Nutella paleta dipped in chocolate. It was really refreshing and I appreciated that it didn't melt instantly like chocolate dipped cones usually do. The only reason they get four stars is because, in my opinion, the paletas are way overpriced. I've been to a few other shops in San Antonio that sell them for 60 cents to maybe $1.50 each. I was super excited and ordered it since the cashier talked it up and told me how it's the authentic Mexican way to make it with white corn. I got my order and left and was very disappointed that my corn was half warm/half almost cold! Very underwhelming! I could tell that the flavor could've been really good but it not being hot totally threw me off. This place is adorable and fun! I appreciate that the flavors are divided into water and milk based and they have flavors ranging from basic vanilla to pitaya. I had the mango/chamoy pop and topped it with more chamoy, sour belts, and taramindo bits. Thank goodness for the boat each pop is served in. I have never seen a dish exactly like this but it was necessary especially to catch the toppings. I'm sure this place will be very busy as we head into summer and with people feeling safer about going out in public. Service was also very friendly. For anyone that has lived in SA for a long time you may be tempted to compare these to those of El Paraiso. It's apples and oranges. El Paraiso's are 50 cents each versus $3.50 at HP but in exchange you get great ambiance at Holy Pops and some of the cost is probably due to their location in Stone Oak. Holy Pop's bars are extremely sweet, such as the coconut, watermelon, and pineapple so I'm thinking they use more sugar than El Paraiso. Also, would be great if Holy Pops had more than just a wrap around plastic sleeve on their pops to go and had an actual sealed wrapper instead in order to prevent your pops from getting a freezer burnt taste. read more

They are a very small team, so they divide the city in different areas, and deliver to a different one each day. Because they are located in Stone Oak, they deliver to that area on a daily basis for free. I believe deliveries are usually between 5-6PM, so don't expect your paletas at 9AM. For free delivery, your order must be $20 or higher. If you want to keep an eye on their future delivery schedule, I highly recommend to follow them on social media. FOOD: During the last few days, the esposo and I have been celebrating #AtHomeFiesta and acting like if we were at Market Square, so we obviously needed to order some corn in a cup from Holy Pops. Why is their corn in a cup so special? Because it is maid with Mexican Corn (aka. white corn)! For a lot of you this might not be a big difference, but for people like me that were born in Mexico and haven't had white corn in years is a HUGE deal. White corn is not as sweet as the yellow corn most people use. It is a little more crunchy, absorbs more flavor and is ten times healthier. We found this little gem on the corner of Huebner and Stone Oak Parkway. The staff is unbelievable and so knowledgeable. We went as a group and actually went back with a new group a week later. I have to say everyone has distinctly different tastes but these pops are the bomb. I can't choose a favorite. I have so far had, Oreo, Reese's Peanut butter dipped in hardening chocolate and Coffee.
