One of the few boba shops on the west side of Bellaire. It is slightly on the pricier side; though the upgrade from 20oz to 32oz is pretty solid! They have snacks/appetizers for sale. The space is a little small. If you're in the area, for example, for Pandan Leaf, give them a try, but I wouldn't go out of my way though.

Came here for a sweet treat after lunch with friends on a Wednesday. It wasn't very busy, and we were able to order right away at the front. The cashier was very patient and helpful, since it was my first time and there were so many different drink options. My friend got the matcha and she thought it was just okay, nothing too special. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and really enjoyed it! It was bold, rich and had just the right amount of sweetness. The inside of the establishment was very clean, but there are only a few seating options, so it might be a bit hard to find a spot if it gets busy.

The best part about Tastea was Dat, the cashier. He was very helpful (my first time here), funny, and nice. I was between the matcha strawberry and then mango green tea. Dat said the tea was strong in the mango green tea and the mango was barely there. I was also told the matcha was made to order (not an instant mix in powder). When I got my drink the color was off and I knew immediately it was gonna taste bad. You couldn't taste the matcha at all, it was nonexistent (prob a cheap matcha or a mix in...)...disappointing.

This tea spot is on the strip of Bellaire that's a bit less saturated with bubble tea shops, making it a good location for people to visit. Parking is easy up front but can get crowded on busy times of the day. There are only two small tables to enjoy tea and snacks inside but the atmosphere is modern and welcoming. Their menu consists of many great drink options, anywhere from milk teas (with or without boba) to fruit teas and smoothies to coffee, and energy drinks to slushy freezes. I love that they let you do a top off with no extra charge as I tend to order my drinks with less ice. They also offer a handful of snack options like fried shrimp or calamari, funnel cake sticks, popcorn chicken, and even rice bowls. The service is fast and friendly and the teas I've tried were all refreshing and tasty. However, I do notice that some of the teas are more sweet than others even at my go-to percentage for sweetness, which is almost always at thirty percent. In addition, I prefer the fruity teas here compared to others. Its a nice spot to grab a drink with friends or to take on-the-go.

Absolutely yummy!! I stumbled across this place on TikTok after I saw someone posted about their new pandan milk tea and I just had to go since my absolute favorite flavor is pandan. This was my first time trying this shop and I didn't know how busy it would be especially on a Sunday night, so I decided to order online. Ordering online was easy, but I wish I didn't have to create an account in order to checkout and wish I could've checked out as a guest but no biggie. The order was ready in about 5-10 min which was super quick! The shop itself is in a corner of a plaza but very easy to find due to their bright lights! Plenty of parking outside and inside is very cute and quaint! I think it's a good spot to just grab your drink and go, but there are a few seats so you can rest or study. This pandan milk tea is probably one of my favorite drinks ever, especially if I'm craving something sweet + non-fruity + no caffeine! The pandan flavor was perfect and had a nice coconut flavor as well that made the pandan stand out. The grass jelly was perfect too. The whole drink itself tasted very nostalgic and perfect. I also ordered 50% sugar which was the perfect amount of sweetness and I think next time I'm gonna also add boba for more chew and textures! Overall, I'm for sure going to come back to try more of their drinks and of course, order the pandan milk tea.

Atmosphere and service is great! Didn't try any of the food but tried the Strawberry Matcha, Jasmine Oreo Milk Tea, Lychee Freeze, Bootea Shaker, and the Great White. All were very good and refreshing. Also, you're able to choose the sweetness level which is very helpful as I don't like it too sweet. The lady, Thao, was very helpful and welcoming.

I really like that they had a 32 ounce option. I ordered the pandan milk tea. You can definitely taste the flavor and it was just as expected along with some black/grass jelly. I was here for maybe about five minutes. They were very quick and efficient. The place was clean and they had some flyers out, promoting their seasonal drinks. Parking is free and out front .

I was excited to check out Tastea since Bellaire has so many teahouses and more on the way. On my first visit, I got the Strawberry Ecsteasy, which is made with black tea and black jelly, but I substituted lychee jelly--my favorite. The drink was okay, but it didn't stand out compared to other places. I went again a few days ago and tried the Strawberry Ecsteasy with green tea and lychee jelly instead, and it was pretty good--definitely better than my first experience. What I was really looking forward to was the popcorn chicken, which they call "Karate Chicken." Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The portion size was too small for the price, and it was a bit too salty. I still prefer the popcorn chicken from Kim's Cafe--it remains my favorite. Overall, Tastea was decent, but not enough to pull me away from my regular spots. For drinks, R&B Tea is still my top pick for Strawberry Green Tea and other teas, and for popcorn chicken, I'll be sticking with Kim's Cafe.

Wonderful customer service. I read the Elite Week wrong as I thought it ended Nov 4th but still glad I was able to visit. Clean establishment. Seating outside and a two benches inside. I couldve done without the cigarette smoke being blown by other patrons from the restaurant next door before I walked in but oh well. You have to take the good with the bad as we all have our vices/habits. Great menu and received order in less than 5 minutes. I ordered a blueberry tea.

The workers are so nice! There is some seating, but it's more for waiting on drinks than staying to study. It feels very clean, and the drinks come out fast. This spot has better prices than other boba shops who charge $8 for a small drink. The 32 oz size is honestly a great deal. Their boba is uniquely colored (green), but it tastes like regular boba!

I like this boba spot and the different drinks they have to offer. I think the price is pretty good for what you are getting. I will say their drinks are on the sweeter side so I would lower the sweetness if you don't like your drinks sweet. Also their fries are so addictive! They have different flavors to offer and they give you so much! They also make the drinks super fast so you are never waiting for a long time. The bellaire location is a little small compared to katy but it's very clean.

Very fast and friendly service. Wasn't sure what to get and they walked me through some of the options. Offering good recommendations that would be refreshing on a hot day. Would come back.

Cute place to check out if you're wanting boba in that area. A lot smaller compared to other boba shops I've been to, so be prepared to just order and leave type of store. Drinks wise, lots of options to choose from. Didn't fully like mine (bc I feel like I've had better mango flavored ones elsewhere), but I truly appreciated the single member there being patient with my order. read more

Have the chance to try the Lychee Peachy with golden boba. The drink itself is slightly tangy and on the sweeter side. The recommended sugar level for this drink is 50%. I ordered 75% with the golden boba makes the drink too sweet for me. More of a order-to-go restaurant. read more

Tastea just opened their first locations in Texas in bellaire and Katy. I went to the one on Bellaire during soft opening, it's in a new plaza that just opened which still had multiple vacant spots ready to lease. This boba chain is from California, I had a drink from them once over 5 years ago but I don't really remember much about it. I ordered the tiger milk tea, one of their premium milk teas. It's a Formosa tea with brown sugar and non dairy with crème brûlée. It's not one of the strongest teas I've had but it's stronger than your average milk tea. I still enjoyed my drink, it has a pretty good sweetness level. It was hard for me to find the creme brulee at the bottom at first but it is definitely there. Although pricey, I was pretty satisfied with my drink and would come back to try some of their other drinks as well. read more

The Newest Boba Spot in Bellaire! This was our second time visiting. The service was fast and super friendly. They were patient with us about what we wanted to drink. The drink came in two sizes: the regular 20oz and a 32oz, which was huge! We tried a few drinks; they were all good. If you don't have a sweet tooth, I would ask for a moderate sweet. The drink combinations were unique and had fun names. We also tried this snack called Studies, which tastes like Cuban croquettes--like a tater tot with a soft mashed potato filling inside. We had the level 3 spice, but it's not spicy at all. We're definitely getting this again! Come and give them a visit to support a new boba shop! The store is small but they have a few seating inside and a bench outside as well. Super friendly and tasty tea! read more

A new boba cafe with food franchise open here in Houston. The service is pretty fast for not ordering ahead online and it is nice and clean. I also like the fact there is a ramping to go up to the front door as there are some steps but due to my disability it is hard for me to go up the steps. The drinks are foods are well price. Tastea is a smoothie shop so your choice of sweetness level are in play, you don't really have a lot to go on the menu you got about 8 kinds of drinks it's like a gas station for your mouth let's get right to it I ordered the yummy gummy it taste exactly how it sounds and a some spuddies they come with a spice level from 1 through 5 I ordered level 5 sauces are included so let's be DARING they are like tater tots only better they melt in your mouth it's pretty well balanced spice level it's not bad it's just as hot Cheetos but not hotter than habaneros Does that make sense? Went here with a group of 12 and the drinks came out super fast with their baristas! There's not a lot of seating though but there are many nice decorations. I got the Strawberry Ecsteasy and it was great! I got medium sweet with boba substitute and it came out a bit too sweet for me but the boba quality in terms of sweetness and chewiness is top tier. coming all the way from california, this green boba franchise finally opened their first location in texas & ofc it's in houston they're currently in their soft opening (4/16-5/2) & tbh, this might be the first soft opening i've been to where i didn't have an issue with my order, service, etc. i ordered their peach me sweetea, my bf got their matcha thai tea & their karate chicken. peach me sweetea (8/10): their fruit drinks are more on the sweet side so i'd def recommend lowering the sugar level. it also comes w bits of peach which made the drink even more refreshing & tasty. i added their honey boba to the drink & it was so soft & chewy (it's also green!) matcha thai tea (7.5/10): you def don't taste the matcha in this bc the thai tea is so fragrant & strong but i honestly really enjoyed it, it was so creamy & easy to drink (no bitter after taste), but don't get it if you don't wanna be juiced up on caffeine all day. karate chicken (9/10): you can choose your choice of spice level as well as dipping sauce. the wait wasn't too long for food (granted it was just us + another party). the chicken was super flavorful & juicy, i just wish there was more basil. the inside is pretty small, kind of like a grab & go spot. they have seating to wait for your order though. overall, i'm really satisfied w my experience! this will def be added to my list for boba! read more

First time visiting, this is a small location without tables. The staff are super friendly. This boba shop does 20oz for the normal size and a 32oz for a large!!! I got the Matcha Thai Milk Tea, Krypteanite, and the Strawberry Sensation. Matcha Thai Milk Tea: 5/5 The matcha balances the thai tea and makes it milder. Krypteanite: 4/5 Refreshing, matcha is high grade, but the drink is too icy for me. Strawberry Sensation: 4/5 A little too sweet for me (I would get less sugar next time) but I like the bits of strawberry inside. The consistency of this is smooth compared to the Krypteanite. I got the Unknown, flavor wise is okay, the tea is good and potent. I heard their drinks come really sweet so I adjusted mine to medium and yet it was still really sweet to me so I'd recommend getting light if you don't like too sweet of drinks. Service could be a little faster, I was 3rd in line and it took 10-15 minutes for my drink. Ambience is cute, theres no hangout spot so it's more of a grab and go drink place. Strawberry matcha milk tea, the unknown, matcha milk tea, and passion attraction. Very friendly staff who offered to explain the menu to us because it was our first visit. I loved the option to top off my drink with the base tea because I requested light ice. The sweetness levels were medium and lite. We ordered lite sweetness for all our drinks and that was the perfect amount of sweetness because we don't like our drinks super sugary. The strawberries in the strawberry matcha tasted very fresh and no artificial taste. The longan bits in the unknown are delicious and a unique topping offering that I haven't seen at other boba shops. The shop was very clean inside with limited seating available because it's smaller than the average boba shop. All the drinks were delicious and we will definitely be coming back to try more! read more

Tastea is officially open in H-town! I've only ever had it in California and I was so excited to finally get one down here! Upon entering we were welcomed in by staff and they were quick to assist us in ordering. The location is a bit small, but clean and bright. I couldn't resist getting the Bootea Shaker. I've had it in cali & it's just a good classic refreshing tea (I'll try to expand my horizons next time, haha). I realized they don't adjust the sweetness level by percentages, they do Full sweet, medium, light, or none. I ended up getting medium sweet and I think it was just right. We also got the karate chicken with honey siracha sauce. It was hot, fresh, and flavorful! It also pairs well with the drink! Their official grand opening is Saturday May 3, 2025! read more

Presumable owner/manager was super friendly and informed me about the app for rewards and ordering drinks to-go; unfortunate that I'm barely in town but thought that was cool! Didn't know they had this here in Houston. What a treat! I was so excited. This place is expanding from California (there's a drive through one in Torrance). I always get the horchata. Their cream of the crop drink is tiger milk tea with green colored boba and cream brûlée. This place is my favorite and I wish there was one in Austin. Was told they opened a month ago. Fast delivery system, efficient service, and cool location. Got my drinks in under 7 minutes and not a long wait on a Saturday evening. Come check it out! This place won't disappoint. read more
