One of the few boba shops on the west side of Bellaire. It is slightly on the pricier side; though the upgrade from 20oz to 32oz is pretty solid! They have snacks/appetizers for sale. The space is a little small. If you're in the area, for example, for Pandan Leaf, give them a try, but I wouldn't go out of my way though.

Great customer service. They got a lot of options I don't see commonly like horchata crunch smoothie. Drinks came out quick too. Place is a bit small though so can't bring too big of a group to chill or study here. Very cute place to come again if I'm around the area. :)

Came here for a sweet treat after lunch with friends on a Wednesday. It wasn't very busy, and we were able to order right away at the front. The cashier was very patient and helpful, since it was my first time and there were so many different drink options. My friend got the matcha and she thought it was just okay, nothing too special. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and really enjoyed it! It was bold, rich and had just the right amount of sweetness. The inside of the establishment was very clean, but there are only a few seating options, so it might be a bit hard to find a spot if it gets busy.

This tea spot is on the strip of Bellaire that's a bit less saturated with bubble tea shops, making it a good location for people to visit. Parking is easy up front but can get crowded on busy times of the day. There are only two small tables to enjoy tea and snacks inside but the atmosphere is modern and welcoming. Their menu consists of many great drink options, anywhere from milk teas (with or without boba) to fruit teas and smoothies to coffee, and energy drinks to slushy freezes. I love that they let you do a top off with no extra charge as I tend to order my drinks with less ice. They also offer a handful of snack options like fried shrimp or calamari, funnel cake sticks, popcorn chicken, and even rice bowls. The service is fast and friendly and the teas I've tried were all refreshing and tasty. However, I do notice that some of the teas are more sweet than others even at my go-to percentage for sweetness, which is almost always at thirty percent. In addition, I prefer the fruity teas here compared to others. Its a nice spot to grab a drink with friends or to take on-the-go.

The best part about Tastea was Dat, the cashier. He was very helpful (my first time here), funny, and nice. I was between the matcha strawberry and then mango green tea. Dat said the tea was strong in the mango green tea and the mango was barely there. I was also told the matcha was made to order (not an instant mix in powder). When I got my drink the color was off and I knew immediately it was gonna taste bad. You couldn't taste the matcha at all, it was nonexistent (prob a cheap matcha or a mix in...)...disappointing.

Absolutely yummy!! I stumbled across this place on TikTok after I saw someone posted about their new pandan milk tea and I just had to go since my absolute favorite flavor is pandan. This was my first time trying this shop and I didn't know how busy it would be especially on a Sunday night, so I decided to order online. Ordering online was easy, but I wish I didn't have to create an account in order to checkout and wish I could've checked out as a guest but no biggie. The order was ready in about 5-10 min which was super quick! The shop itself is in a corner of a plaza but very easy to find due to their bright lights! Plenty of parking outside and inside is very cute and quaint! I think it's a good spot to just grab your drink and go, but there are a few seats so you can rest or study. This pandan milk tea is probably one of my favorite drinks ever, especially if I'm craving something sweet + non-fruity + no caffeine! The pandan flavor was perfect and had a nice coconut flavor as well that made the pandan stand out. The grass jelly was perfect too. The whole drink itself tasted very nostalgic and perfect. I also ordered 50% sugar which was the perfect amount of sweetness and I think next time I'm gonna also add boba for more chew and textures! Overall, I'm for sure going to come back to try more of their drinks and of course, order the pandan milk tea.

I really like that they had a 32 ounce option. I ordered the pandan milk tea. You can definitely taste the flavor and it was just as expected along with some black/grass jelly. I was here for maybe about five minutes. They were very quick and efficient. The place was clean and they had some flyers out, promoting their seasonal drinks. Parking is free and out front .

I was excited to check out Tastea since Bellaire has so many teahouses and more on the way. On my first visit, I got the Strawberry Ecsteasy, which is made with black tea and black jelly, but I substituted lychee jelly--my favorite. The drink was okay, but it didn't stand out compared to other places. I went again a few days ago and tried the Strawberry Ecsteasy with green tea and lychee jelly instead, and it was pretty good--definitely better than my first experience. What I was really looking forward to was the popcorn chicken, which they call "Karate Chicken." Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The portion size was too small for the price, and it was a bit too salty. I still prefer the popcorn chicken from Kim's Cafe--it remains my favorite. Overall, Tastea was decent, but not enough to pull me away from my regular spots. For drinks, R&B Tea is still my top pick for Strawberry Green Tea and other teas, and for popcorn chicken, I'll be sticking with Kim's Cafe.

Have the chance to try the Lychee Peachy with golden boba. The drink itself is slightly tangy and on the sweeter side. The recommended sugar level for this drink is 50%. I ordered 75% with the golden boba makes the drink too sweet for me. More of a order-to-go restaurant.

The workers are so nice! There is some seating, but it's more for waiting on drinks than staying to study. It feels very clean, and the drinks come out fast. This spot has better prices than other boba shops who charge $8 for a small drink. The 32 oz size is honestly a great deal. Their boba is uniquely colored (green), but it tastes like regular boba!

I like this boba spot and the different drinks they have to offer. I think the price is pretty good for what you are getting. I will say their drinks are on the sweeter side so I would lower the sweetness if you don't like your drinks sweet. Also their fries are so addictive! They have different flavors to offer and they give you so much! They also make the drinks super fast so you are never waiting for a long time. The bellaire location is a little small compared to katy but it's very clean.

Tried the mango green tea which had chunks of mango (small, diced and kind of hard) and added honey boba (soft and chewy). Asked for the drink to be half sweet, but it was still fairly sweet. The selection of drinks is great, and overall looking forward to trying more at future visits.

Atmosphere and service is great! Didn't try any of the food but tried the Strawberry Matcha, Jasmine Oreo Milk Tea, Lychee Freeze, Bootea Shaker, and the Great White. All were very good and refreshing. Also, you're able to choose the sweetness level which is very helpful as I don't like it too sweet. The lady, Thao, was very helpful and welcoming.

My friend had talked up Tastea as his favorite drink spot in California and safe to say I wasn't disappointed. I've tried the matcha Thai tea, Thai tea, and the mango tea which were all really really good. I love the flavors of the drinks which you can tell are made of high quality ingredients. One thing I've noticed that's different in their teas is the use of fruit in teas such as mango green tea etc. I'll for sure be visiting them next time to try the food items which look amazing as well! The service is prompt and everyone is happy to tell you the most popular drinks and their favorite drinks. There's limited seating inside from what I saw while ordering! Tastea is hands down one of my favorite (probably my top choice) boba shops. I'm from OC and I would frequent the original location in GG often, and this is exactly the same thing. Boy have I missed Tastea!! The staff there is so sweet, especially Thao, who I have picked up a few conversations with whenever I'm there. If y'all need some drink recommendations, here are some of my personal favorites: The Unknown, Peach Me Sweetea, Lychee Peachee, Avocado Avalanche (trust me on this one it's SOO good!!). So yummy! I've been waiting for Houston to open up a Tastea for the longest time. I ordered the classic milk tea medium sweetness was still pretty sweet so next time I'll go for the light. Let me start with great service and friendly atmosphere. Thao did a great job explaining the different options available for the many different drinks. I am big fan of the watermelon freeze Igor with the sugar alternative and whatever the seasoning is on the rice that comes with the Karate chicken bowl is awesome. One of my favorites is the Strawberry Ecstasy - it's fruity, sweet, and has just the right amount of boba. Their Horchata Milk Tea is also really good if you like creamy, cinnamon-flavored drinks. The vibe inside is chill, and the workers are usually friendly. Sometimes it takes a while to get your drink if it's busy, but it's worth the wait. The lychee flavor completely overpowered matcha, making it hard to enjoy the drink. Overall, it was a good try but it wasn't cup of coffee.

Toppings are $1-$1.50 and includes grass jelly, coffee jelly, cream, single shot, or extra matcha. I've tried their egg coffee, coconut coffee, ube coffee, pandan coffee, and black sesame. Although I love all of them, my current fav is the black sesame! YUM!! I've yet to try their matcha and teas, but Trung Nguyen is always on our list whenever we're in town- so I will for sure try their other drinks at one point or another. Viet coffee is everywhere in Houston (and I love that). You could tell the staff were working very hard. I ordered the shooting star fruit tea from the signature menu since I like butterfly pea & strawberry lemonade smoothie for my kids to share. My drink was refreshing and little more on the sweet side than what I am used to with butterfly pea so I wonder if I could adjust the sweetness level next time. I thought it was interesting on the lemonade & smoothie created two separate layers. My kids enjoyed it overall especially in the heat. There is a variety of seating options and outdoor seating as well. The bathroom was clean which is always a major plus for me. The parking lot is within a shared shopping complex which can get busy during peak hours. I would definitely consider coming back to try more drinks!

I'll keep this short and sweet: I ordered the Ruby Grapefruit Li-Li Tea with green tea jelly, and it was legit. Incredibly flavorful, super fresh, and loaded with real grapefruit pulp. I went with 100% sugar (no regrets--just work out an extra hour afterward ). The balance of tart and sweet was spot on, and the quality really stands out compared to your average boba shop. Yes, the drinks aren't cheap, but they're worth every penny. You're paying for freshness and flavor, and it shows. The ambiance is clean, bright, and modern, and the service was solid. Drinks came out relatively quickly, even though it was busy. If you're tired of the same old average boba places, definitely give Macu Tea a try. Enjoy!

My favorites are their smashed avocado, pandan latte, coffee slush, and royal artichoke. The smashed avocado has condensed milk and avocado--hard to go wrong with this combo. The pandan latte has pandan steeped milk I believe(?), which tastes fresh and not artifical, with two shots of unsweetend espresso. The coffee slush is not too icy and is a balance of sweetness and bitterness. The royal artichoke, which I get with crystal boba, comes with a variety of toppings, such longan, herbal jelly, chia seeds, etc, and is refreshing. The drive through is pretty convenient and fast, and there is plenty of parking in the plaza. The inside is a bit small, but they do have outdoor seating. This is where I go for a solid, consistent drink and is a staple in Bellaire!

Still very delicious and not too sweet--they don't add any sugar to this, so the sweetness comes entirely from the jellies. It genuinely tasted like honeydew, albeit a bit artificial. It had a rich flavor, a vibrant green color, and wasn't too sweet. I wouldn't order this for myself, but I do love stealing sips from my BF's. (I was pretty sugared out at this point too.) The place is very spacious, and it's right next to bb.q Chicken, my favorite Korean fried chicken spot! It would also be a great place to study if you're looking for wide-open tables.
