Hidden gem alert! We were driving around, absolutely starving, and ended up driving 20 minutes just to try this pizza place. It exceeded every expectation! The restaurant was spotless, and while we were there, about seven people came in to pick up their pizzas, which says a lot. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous. You can tell they truly care about their customers. The pizza was fresh, hot, flavorful, and made quickly. Every bite was delicious! This is definitely going to be one of my favorite spots. I just moved to the area and didn't know many places, so when I saw this pizza shop open late at night, I decided to give it a try. OMG, it was one of the best decisions I've made! I finally found my go-to pizza spot. Everything I've tried has been amazing. The pizza is delicious, and the Chicken Alfredo pasta is a 10/10. The pizza is absolutely delicious. Great pricing. Love the atmosphere of the place as well. The highlight for us though is their late evening hours and also the family that owns and operates the business. They always go out of their way to confirm that order is correct which is so refreshing. The woman who manages the register is always so warm and welcoming. I literally fell in love with this pizza in the first bite ! It's was phenomenal! I could even taste back to my roots in Europe ! I knew it was a brick oven that was used to make such delightful pizza! (even got it confirmed! ) it's family owned Italian restaurant and they have and amazing eating area and just the ambiance of the establishment was purely amazing! I would recommend to friends and family and all of you! They also have a good special going on from 10am - 5pm where you can get their small pizza and a soda for 10.99 plus tax! I've been here twice already, and both times have been consistently amazing. The pizza tastes incredibly authentic, with a rich flavor that really shows the quality of the ingredients they use. Had to try Tastivo Pizza and did so this morning with my standard "evaluation order", a small cheese pizza to go. The shop is cute and clean. The employee (owner? I didn't specifically ask.) was very nice. The pizza didnt take long to prepare and was supplied with all of the items I needed. Didn't even have to ask! The pizza was hot and wasn't bad but not entirely to my liking. The crust was a bit doughy like it was a bit under fermented and/or underbaked. The cheese, while tasty, was extremely chewy. I guess this style of pizza just isn't my cup of tea. Im glad I tried it and hope that others will give Tastivo the business and help them succeed. read more

Just had the best meal here!!! My boyfriend and I have been looking for a good pizza place in the valley for an entire year without finding one. Until now!!! We tried this place and had absolutely no complaints. The ingredients are clearly fresh and the pizza packs a lot of flavor without feeling heavy or being greasy. We ate the entire pizza (Margherita) and we both felt great afterwards. It's filling but still light and refreshing. We also got wings (barbecue and mango habanero) and once again, the flavor AND quality was spectacular. It's also very reasonably priced for such high quality food. The owner, Diana, clearly cares about her customers and makes the food fresh to order, with love. Plan to circle or look for street parking if you're coming at a peak time. Now, the star of the show: THE PIZZA. The crust is exceptional. It arrived piping hot with an incredible, crunchy texture and fantastic flavor. What impressed me most was that even after it cooled down and lost that initial crunch, it was still delicious, the dough transformed into a soft, fluffy, and perfectly chewy base. A truly well-made crust. We also tried the Chicken Alfredo pasta. It was just okay, nothing wrong with it, but it didn't stand out like the pizza did. Located in a small plaza on the corner right next to Daglas. Parking can be an issue, but there is street parking right around the block. Decided to give this a place a shot because of all of the positive reviews. I am so glad that I did because this is a pretty decent pie. I ordered a Hawaiian with mushrooms, sausage & pineapple. I thought the pie could have used a little bit more sauce though. The sausage was pretty good and had fennel seeds in it. The cheese doesn't disintegrate when you eat it. It has texture. Miss Diana was so sweet. She took my order over the phone. I searched for and wide in proximity to Woodland Hills. I didn't want Pizza Hut's generic tasting low grade pizza. Tastivo had excellent reviews. I came in and right away Miss Diana greeted me and she was so proud of their pizza she wanted to show me before I paid. I also ordered the kids some cheesy bread and she threw in plates and ranch sauce. I'm big on customer service and Miss Diana was lovely. There's something about her that makes this place feel so inviting and homey. She offered to have my husband try the jalapeño ranch on top of the regular ranch. We're in the car waiting for the cheesy bread and the pizza is almost done. The crust is excellent and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. Went there for the first time was super excited because of the stars. Got home and there was a piece of hair inside of the cheese. Called there and they expected me to drive back there to give them back the pizza at 4 in the morning and proceeded to tell me that they don't have hair like the piece of hair in the pizza (my hair is kinky straight, this hair is silky) and they've never had anyone say this before (so does that mean it didn't happen with this pizza?). They said that me driving back there with the pizza was only way they could help. I was instructed to call tomorrow to speak with the manager. I'll report back to see what happens when I do. I went to Tastivo based on the reviews and how close I live to the place. I went really wanting the pizza to be as good as the Yelp reviews indicated, and it wasn't bad- definitely a step up from Dominoes, but in my opinion the pizza was just a tad better than average. On the positive side- the BEST thing about the place is how reasonably priced the toppings are! On the flip side- the sauce was not great and very tomato-pasty. I dunno, maybe the other reviewers aren't as picky about pizza sauce as I am. If you're having a huge family dinner and everyone likes different toppings, Tastivo might be the place to go. Otherwise I'd head up to Chi Chi's in Northridge, or to Lido pizza in Van Nuys. read more
