I saw the 4.8 ranking in yelp and had been wanting to try. It was awful. I had leaving bad reviews but it literally reminded us of Chuck E Cheese pizza but even worse. The cheese was cooked so well done that it the whole pizza just felt dried out. I am usually very forgiving for Pizza because usually even bad pizza can make a nice midnight snack. But we didn't finish half the pizza and threw it out. I can't remember ever throwing away leftover pizza in my life. It was that bad. I think the great reviews is because they offer a vegan option and halal which is hard to find. I kinda wish we would have tried the vegan hoping it would at least be decent. Going into it I didn't know that Thymes specialty was vegan pies. Not that it only does vegan pies but it's good to know that there is a place in the valley that does vegan pies. We didn't order a but we ordered three different pies. One with just veggies, one with sausage garlic and basil (which was my favorite) and the third was sausage and pepperoni. They were all good but I will say that they each could have had more sauce. They were a little on the dry side. We also ordered wings which I didn't try but everyone who ate the enjoyed them. There were a couple tables inside if you want to eat in but it's mostly set up for takeout. Not sure if it's standard but our order came with a two liter. i will always rate any place with vegan/vegetarian meat as an option well, and thyme pizzaria is no exception. there are few places i've been to that offer such a variety of vegan options while also serving regular meat options, so it was a delight to be able to have best of both worlds for me and my boyfriend. the pizza is cooked fast and clearly very fresh, it's a small hole-in-the-wall looking place, but they also have a great lunch deal if you order before a certain time. a personal pizza size was perfect to keep me full for lunch. definitely plan on going back again any time i'm in the area! read more

I was told that I had to try the Persian Pizza and it was described as "having a bunch of stuff on it". I didn't know what that meant but I'd try it. Come to find out it has halal mortadella and german sausage meats to which I was taken aback. I love Mortadella and the sausage was very tasty. What a disappointment! I ordered a simple vegan pizza just cheese, nothing else! Instead, I got a pizza loaded with every topping possible: mushrooms, pepperoni, onions, spicy peppers everything! It also took them almost an hour (48 minutes!) to deliver. I was having a small party for my daughter, and some of the kids are vegan -- they couldn't even eat because of the mistake. This review is for the vegan pizza - haven't tried the non-vegan. First, the staff could not have been nicer. That all by itself is a win. Second, the pizza was great. Often times with vegan pizza, the flavor is bland and you're not sure if you're eating the pizza or the cardboard it's sitting on - not at Thyme. The abundance of fresh basil, the tomato, and the sauce made this one of the best vegan pizza's ever. Third, and as a bonus, they had vegan ranch dressing (excellent for crust-dipping) and vegan cheesecake. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty and you can tell that they truly care how they make their pizzas. My wife is vegan so we are happy that they offer this option when ordering. I've been coming here for years. This is the most delicious pizza I've ever had in my life. It's honestly quite addicting and after you have it once you'll want it every day. I've introduced this spot to other people and they feel the same. I know people who drive 30 minutes + to pick up here. We ended up ordering the BBQ chicken pizza and veggie pizza both with gluten free crusts. I wanted to try both flavors! The BBQ pizza was amazing, but next time I would get it without the "chicken" as it was a little on the dry side. The pizza was covered in delicious BBQ sauce and fresh cilantro. So tasty! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy. The veggie pizza was also delicious, with a great variety of veggie toppings like mushrooms, green peppers, olives, fresh tomatoes, artichoke hearts and dairy free cheese. There was actually a lot of cheese on the pizza and boy was it melty! I was not expecting it to taste as good as it did. I ordered online, but had an issue with my order. We've been watching this place for a couple of years now. With all of the 5-star reviews I don't know why we waited so long to try it out. Well, last night we ordered a large Margherita pizza for pickup. The order and pay process is all internet-based. It worked but there is nothing like having the confidence of talking to a real human. This is so "remote and clinical". But it worked as advertised... the pizza was ready when the computer said it would be. The pizza itself was a bit unusual looking. Very generous with the basil, more so than I've ever seen in a Margherita pizza. But better too much than too little, I suppose. I expected my mouth to explode in flavor. But not so much. It wasn't bad (there were no leftovers) but it just wasn't great. I like cornmeal on my crust; it gives a good crunch. But this was tooooo much. Cornmeal on bottom and top. Every bite had a bit too much roughage grinding between the teeth. The sauce... not bad but not fresh tasting. Kinda blah. Same with the mozzarella but that's expected for mozzarella. I've certainly had worse pizza, and I've certainly had better. No matter how much I read and reread all of these glowing reviews I think I'm still a skeptic. read more
