I only dropped in for an order to-go, but the setup and decor inside were nice. I really like the layout and open walls on the sides where you can eat and people watch. We've always loved Pitfire Pizza! Now here in Woodland Hills @ the Village, it's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The other night, I arranged a night out and Fundraiser (where Pitfire Pizza gives our organization 15% back on our orders) and they truly outdid themselves. First, let me start by saying that they made it easy to set up! In my experience, sometimes companies make it challenging to arrange these type of events, with lots of lead time and lots of requirements and corporate approval. NOT the case HERE! They made it Quick and easy! The GM Jesse set us up on the side patio and lounge area with the FirePit, with plenty of space to mix and mingle. High bar tables, couches and the entire outdoor side patio. This was done also to keep our guests separate from the louder small kids party on the other side. Needless to say, it was a good set up! Now onto the food: Delicious and served quickly! From the salads, to the Brussel sprouts to the Pizzas. Everything was delicious! And they make it easy to take home left overs, bc the extra take-home boxes are near the waters. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend booking another fundraising event here in the future and I will also be back regularly to eat, drink and enjoy the people watch from the patio. Maybe since it was late at night, but the team was very non-communicative and less hospitable than usual. Mom and I came here for the first time recently. We took advantage of the Happy Hour menu and I suggest you do the same to try out different menu items for a fraction of the price. We ordered the chicken wings and it was basically tiny chicken strips drizzled with sauce. The flavor was ok but the tiny strips were a let down for someone expecting bone-in wings. The crust is very wide and is nearly half of the slice. The crust was very dough-y and thick while the rest of it, under the toppings is thin. Even though it was thin, it was soggy and soft. My wife ordered extra cheese on hers and even with the "extra cheese" it barely had any cheese at all. Don't waste your time or money here. It's not worth it. The restaurant is very large and offers many seating options (patio, booths, lounge furniture, bar, high tops), and you seat yourself. The method to ordering is straight forward, just order at the bar. Food is delivered to your table. Drinks are self serve and so are takeout boxes. The kids meals were a little small in portion, but good quality pasta. The pizzas are also tasty and fresh. My go to pizza is the honey bear pizza which has ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, sausage, honey, calabrian chile, and bee pollen. Their cheesy knots are very satisfying as well. If you're a huge meat fan, try the sausage party! Pretty large seating area inside and a few tables outside as well. Tends to get busy especially towards the night. Good place for groups. It took a long time to get it because the day we went on a weekday they were understaffed. Everyone looked like they were working on it but things were just difficult for them to keep track of. They forgot about one of our pizzas and we had to keep following up. It took 30-40 mins at minimum to get our food. I hope they figure out their staffing issues. Honey bear pizza is yummy. Burrata pizza was also excellent. The pesto on burrata was a bit oversalted for my taste but thankfully it was a thin drizzle. Great artisan pizza made quick with simple ingredients. This location has a chill vibe, with booths, high tables, bench seating and lounge chairs on the inside. Outside is a covered shaded area with several tables and chairs. A bar in the center of the restaurant is where you place orders. I started with a glass of the a sangria, ted wine based and well balanced. For pizza the pepperoni and mushrooms was the choice. Another 5 star experience! Came here on a super empty stomach for dinner so we ordered pasta, pizza, and a side (Brussels sprouts). We also ordered two drinks (a beer and the froze). The drinks and food were amazing and the service was excellent. The vodka pasta was 10/10 and so were the Brussels. The Brussels were a twist on elote and so so good. Came here for a Holiday party with a pre-set menu offering. All of the pizzas I tried were great - but OMG the field mushrooms and the pumpkin?!??! Perfection! We had a lot of vegans and vegetarians in attendance so many of our pizzas were one or the other and all were divine - even as a meat eater! We love pitfire and it is a great place to host a casual party (ie team party, musical celebration, birthday party, etc). I have had a few sports and musical wrap parties there. Jesse (the manager) is so wonderful and she thinks of everything (ie order quantities, food display/buffer layout, etc). They make it easy on you!! Not much flavor, very little tomatoes paste, and the cheese has bo flavor. Pretty disappointing for a place that has 4 stars on yelp. Ordered draft beer and a lemon drop martini. Beer was excellent and the lemon drop came in a small glass and I they forgot the lemon drop (it tasted more like grapefruit). Lastly, the outdoor cushions are filthy. Returned to meet friends for lunch. Order at the register. No problem getting a table at 12:30 on a Friday. The food was brought out fairly quickly - salads first, pizza to follow. I went with the steak salad ($19). Nice presentation (see photo) with lots of avocado, tomatoes, bleu cheese, candied walnuts and more. Delish. For an informal restaurant, they have real plates and silverware (nice!). The server made sure our water glasses were full. And they came around and cleared the table when we were finished eating. My friend suggested this place as she's been here before and has had the gf crust from here. We ended up ordering the vegan margarita and a side of avocado slices with seasoning. They have a variety of pizza, apps, salads and a full bar. The pizza was good but I didn't like that it looked so plain being a vegan one, the vegan cheese doesn't melt or spread like normal cheese does. It was cashew cheese and was def a unique flavor. I wouldn't get it again but I would def try a different version of the pizza with the gf crust. Inside, full bar and lots of seating inside and outside. They have a little lounge with a fire pit and table and chairs as well. You order when you walk inside and they bring you your food. This place is pricy, they'll bring you your food when it's ready but you have to grab your on plates and silverware. A few friend and I ended up eating at Pitfire Pizza on a Saturday around 7pm. We have walked by it so many times but this time we just had to have it! This is located in The Village in Woodland Hills so it's one of many restaurants you can choose from. This spot had more of a fast-casual feel where you walk into the restaurant, pick up a menu from the front and look at it while waiting in line to put in your order at the register, then you'll be given a number, you'll find your own table and display your number on the table and the food will be brought to your table once it is ready. Near the tables, there is a counter with glass water bottles and cups where you can help yourself to water for your table. There is also a bar which serves cocktails, beer and wine. You don't have a waiter so you'd have to order things at the designated locations every time you want something. The food was pretty good, it's what you can reasonably expect at a good fast casual restaurant. We ordered the Zoe's Pepperoni Pizza, Epic. BBQ. Chicken Pizza and the Meatball Level Up. The pizzas are a good size, can easily feed 2 people. The crust is on the thinner side under the toppings and it's nice and thick around the rim. Even though the bbq chicken pizza was good, The pepperoni was my favorite. The pepperoni even has the option to buy hot honey to top it off with, which I thought was a nice touch. The meatballs were actually chicken meatballs, it was a very solid choice if you like a good hefty meatball with a generous amount of toppings, I thought it was really good. The seating inside had regular tables up front, booths in the back and a bar in the middle, so you have options depending on what you're feeling that day! The atmosphere felt like a fast casual spot, kind of hectic, bright and families with kids. Don't expect it to be a romantic date spot or anything like that. For the parking, since it's at The Village you'll be parking in their parking structure, but you get first 90 minutes for free. They often just leave the exit gate open so it's unlikely you'll have to pay for parking but free parking is not a guarantee. Overall, this is a decent spot for a decent pizza, definitely worth a shot if you're in the mood for a pizza and don't need super fast pizza or don't want to sit down at a full-on sit-down restaurant. If you're looking for something that serves fast, this is the spot. You are able to seat yourself anywhere after picking up a menu. It's not a waiter-service restaurant, so you will have to order at the register. I like how the food wait wasn't so long, and we were able to eat in about 20 minutes.
