I only dropped in for an order to-go, but the setup and decor inside were nice. I really like the layout and open walls on the sides where you can eat and people watch. Food was good and would like to come back and try their pasta and other pizza offerings. Also, 2 words I didn't know could go together... "craft slushies". I saw 2 ladies order some at the bar and almost asked for a sip. Names like "I'm your huckleberry" with blueberry bourbon, blackberry, ginger. NEGRONI FREEZONI with gin, sweet vermouth, campari. No way, FROSÉ! c'monn

Cool spot & outdoor space with pitfires hence, the name. Pizza was good. Salad so so & no cocktails this time. Easy & sharable food which makes it reasonable.

We had not been to pitfire pizza in years and unfortunately, we had remembered it being much better. Service was friendly, and the food did arrive quickly, but the quality was poor and the food arrived cold. They seem severely understaffed and the place was filled with gnats, unfortunately not worth returning again.

Mom and I came here for the first time recently. We took advantage of the Happy Hour menu and I suggest you do the same to try out different menu items for a fraction of the price. We ordered the chicken wings and it was basically tiny chicken strips drizzled with sauce. The flavor was ok but the tiny strips were a let down for someone expecting bone-in wings. The margherita pizza was really delicious and full size. I'd definitely order this again. Shoutout to Evan whose peace and kindness is felt palpably in any room she's in.

The food was excellent as it always is, as was the ambiance, but the service tonight wasn't as great as it usually is. Maybe since it was late at night, but the team was very non-communicative and less hospitable than usual. The only part of my meal I didn't love was the pesto drizzle on top of the brussel sprouts - it was a lot more pesto than I was expecting and I'm not a huge fan of pesto. Luckily the pizza and cheesy knots helped.

We've always loved Pitfire Pizza! Now here in Woodland Hills @ the Village, it's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The other night, I arranged a night out and Fundraiser (where Pitfire Pizza gives our organization 15% back on our orders) and they truly outdid themselves. First, let me start by saying that they made it easy to set up! In my experience, sometimes companies make it challenging to arrange these type of events, with lots of lead time and lots of requirements and corporate approval. NOT the case HERE! They made it Quick and easy! The GM Jesse set us up on the side patio and lounge area with the FirePit, with plenty of space to mix and mingle. High bar tables, couches and the entire outdoor side patio. This was done also to keep our guests separate from the louder small kids party on the other side. Needless to say, it was a good set up! Now onto the food: Delicious and served quickly! From the salads, to the Brussel sprouts to the Pizzas. Everything was delicious! And they make it easy to take home left overs, bc the extra take-home boxes are near the waters. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend booking another fundraising event here in the future and I will also be back regularly to eat, drink and enjoy the people watch from the patio. Thank you Pitfire Pizza Woodland Hills!

    Mushroom and honey bear pizza

We ordered the Honey Bear and the Field Pizza. The Honey Bear has that perfect spicy-sweet balance with the Calabrian chili and honey, and the Field Pizza is a mushroom lover's dream with the fontina and thyme. But the real star is the dough--it has that perfect artisan char, a light airy chew, and enough structural integrity to hold up those fresh toppings. If you're a pizza purist who cares about the foundation of the pie, this is a must-visit. Pitfire is officially in my top tier.

This was the first time my family had eaten here. It's a very casual restaurant and perfect if you want decent Italian food without having to deal with reservations. The restaurant is very large and offers many seating options (patio, booths, lounge furniture, bar, high tops), and you seat yourself. The method to ordering is straight forward, just order at the bar. Food is delivered to your table. Drinks are self serve and so are takeout boxes. The kids meals were a little small in portion, but good quality pasta. The pizzas are also tasty and fresh. I can't find anything wrong with this location other than they don't validate for the parking structure.

I'm bummed to write this review because I was really excited to try Pitfire Pizza. The pizza is terrible! There is barely any cheese or toppings at all. The crust is very wide and is nearly half of the slice. The crust was very dough-y and thick while the rest of it, under the toppings is thin. Even though it was thin, it was soggy and soft. My wife ordered extra cheese on hers and even with the "extra cheese" it barely had any cheese at all. Don't waste your time or money here. It's not worth it. Tomato Pie down the street is much better!

I LOVE that pitfire has sourdough crust pizza. So perfect! And it feels so much lighter compared to most pizzas. Very unique flavor combos available. My go to pizza is the honey bear pizza which has ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, sausage, honey, calabrian chile, and bee pollen. Their cheesy knots are very satisfying as well. If you're a huge meat fan, try the sausage party! Pretty large seating area inside and a few tables outside as well. Tends to get busy especially towards the night. Good place for groups. Their staff has always been helpful and friendly too. I will definitely keep coming back, especially since it tends to be easier on the stomach.

    Pitfire outdoor seating!!

We absolutely love pitfire pizza! Jessie, the manager is amazing at coordinating parties, fundraisers, and making us feel welcome. We come here all the time, the food is amazing, we love the indoor or outdoor with heat lamp options for seating. It's casual, but you can also feel free to dress up and make it a fun dinner place for a date! Highly recommend coming here, you will love it!

Edit 10/27 The manager has reached out to me via Yelp and offered us a gift card so we can give it another chance. So that's appreciated. Original: Pizzas tasted great. It took a long time to get it because the day we went on a weekday they were understaffed. Everyone looked like they were working on it but things were just difficult for them to keep track of. They forgot about one of our pizzas and we had to keep following up. It took 30-40 mins at minimum to get our food. I hope they figure out their staffing issues. Honey bear pizza is yummy. Burrata pizza was also excellent. The pesto on burrata was a bit oversalted for my taste but thankfully it was a thin drizzle. Didnt love the "cookie dough crumble" dessert , because we were expecting a hot cookie (like the p'zookie at BJ's restaurants) but instead it was vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream and a thin sprinkle of cookie dough bits which was very disappointing. We assumed it was going to be a full warm cookie with ice cream sundae on top.

I think we are on year 6, and man...while this place was rather the buzz years back, I have to update the food... Dishes: Sorry to say, but 5 out of the 6 dishes just flat out failed. We had the saltiest Gnochi, the sweetest ravioli with a sweet cream sauce AND reduced balsamic...that sauce is bad....ruined some decent raviolis. The Ceasar salad...How do you mess that up? Well, bad dressing and less attention to the details in ingredients, thats how, and they did indeed mess that up. Fusilli was OK. Not a lot to this to mess up and it survived. The Fritto Misto, for an Italian place was battered like the beer pub down the street, but the 2 pieces of chunky shrimp did taste good and 1 decent piece of calamari. The amount of oily breading on these is way grossly too much. What happen to "dust it on"?, Italian, Greek, and any European ocean side will hardly cake on any batter. There are 3-4 nice pieces and the rest are rather small weak calamari. Not too bad, but the batter is bad. Sauce was pretty much pizza sauce, not bad, but nothing to remember. The starters were done, the glasses were empty, and tic toc...no order. Once a service brings starters, you want to be back pretty quick to check on the table, see if they need anything, and if they can place the main orders. Our table never got checked on regardless of the water pouring assistants who were flagged down. We finished and waited. Finally she did show up, we put orders in, and as expected we waited. Honestly, this night broke the back. Have no reason to return. I say this as $250 for a casual dinner is not something you can do just OK or less in. Only 1 dish had any meat in it, and that too was less than half eaten. In fact, all the dishes except the Fusilli were left with more than half their food. Not one peep of interest of why from the waiters. Just rushed cleared and its NEXT!

I ordered a small cup of their marinara sauce to dip/drizzle on each bite.....couldn't have been a better decision. Worth it. The 3 ladies that were working the front counter (around noon on 4/23) were the best. Just an all around great experience and fantastic food. I'll be back soon FOR SURE!!!!
