Generous portions. Reasonably priced. Nice flavors. Will come again to try more menu items.

Second time eating here, first time for take out. Even after a 15 min car ride home, all our food was so fresh, flavorful and delicious!!! I got the falafel sandwich and the lentil soup. The sandwich was good; definitely a different flavor than the Greek falafels I've had in the past. But the texture was amazing. I do wish it had a sauce like hummus or yogurt sauce. I was not expecting to get crinkle cut fries with my order but those were very good too. The lentil soup is my absolutely favorite. It's a good value at less than $4. My husband got the beef gyro and hummus. Flavor on the gyro was good. Meat was strips of beef, not shavings but still an enjoyable sandwich. Also came with crinkle cut fries. The hummus is the best hummus I've ever tasted in my life. The pita was flavored, and the hummus was so rich and delicious. The olive oil on top was *chef's kiss*. I'd eat that hummus everyday if I could. I highly recommend trying this place!!

Great middle eastern fare. The baklava is a pretty big portion so you might want to share it. We got a couple Gyro sandwiches and hummus as a starter and left completely full with leftovers. We were under a time crunch and they got us in and out without a problem.

This restaurant is so delicious! I ordered falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush and pita and it was done quickly and was very fresh and full of flavor. I went in to pick it up (but they do offer delivery through most popular delivery apps) and the restaurant was was clean and cozy. I look forwarding eating here again and enjoying the restaurant in person. Will be eating here again soon! Tell your friends to come support a local and unique restaurant, as there aren't many of these in this area!

DELISH!! if you want authentic Mediterranean food- you must come here! I've had the real deal- been to Turkey and Greece. This stuff tastes AMAZING! I got the vegetable platter- everything was so flavorful! I got enough for 2 meals and it is reasonably priced. My husband got the shawarma platter and also had 2 meals. My in-laws split the mixed platter! We will be back!

The boba ghanoush is worth the drive. It's an unassuming little place serving fantastic Mediterranean food.

The server, young guy, did a great job of handling the situation. After the family left, everyone in the restaurant had a bonding/ laugh out loud moment of how terrible that person was and how the young guy responded well. He kept checking in on us while we waited for our dinner. I had the chicken shwarma sandwich and it was delicious.

I figured that is probably pretty standard for restaurants though, so wasn't too concerned about that either. We got a kefta plate, falafel plate, and a mango smoothie to share, as a family. The guy who was working told me the smoothie was just mango syrup and ice, which I thought sounded a bit lackluster, since it cost 8 dollars. My husband took a sip of it + said it was kind of terrible/tasted like blended unripe mango. He said the kefta plate was good, and I thought the falafel + hunmus were also pretty good, although the salad that came with it seemed pretty depressing. Nothing really looked like the pictures I had seen online + I found the overall meal pretty disappointing. The guy working was very nice though + I could tell all of the baked goods were made with a ton of intention, although we didn't get any. I felt like we may have visited on an off day or maybe this place was more of a bakery. If I were in the area, I would definitely try it again for chai/desserts.

You feel welcomed the second you walk in, and somehow that warmth makes its way into the food too. I've tried just about every Mediterranean spot in Kansas City, and this one stands out every single time. It tastes the most authentic and the least commercial by far. Everything feels fresh, intentional, and made with care. Nothing tastes rushed or mass produced. There's real love in the food here, and you can taste it. Their dolmas especially take me right back to my grandmother's kitchen. That kind of food memory is hard to put into words, but if you know, you know. Comforting, fresh, flavorful, and made in a way that feels deeply rooted and genuine. With the World Cup approaching and so many people coming through Kansas City, visitors need to know about places like this. These are the local spots worth seeking out. The kind you leave talking about afterward and craving again the next day. And if they have the mint lemonade, order it. The rose lemonade is always incredible too. If you can get both, mix them and thank me later. A true Kansas City gem. You won't regret stopping here.

The salad, pita and hummus, came with the plate and everything was delicious. I tried the Kefta kabob plate with mixed meats. Basha Bash: I really wanted to love this spot. Based on the…read morestellar reviews, I was excited for a hidden Greek gem in the heart of OP, but unfortunately, our experience was far from an "Opa!" moment. The Service I arrived first and the place was nearly empty, yet the energy felt frantic. The server/ hostess was very rushed and business-like but seemed overwhelmed, running around like a chicken with her head cut off. After declining a black tea multiple times (once they realized they were out of chai), We had to practically stop her in mid-step for every follow-up once the rest of my party arrived. She never stopped on her own to ask us if we needed anything or if we were enjoying our meal. The Food The meal was a series of "weird" choices: The Hummus Situation: Our entrees were supposed to come with hummus, Rice and a side salad. Instead of serving The hummus with the entree, it was plopped onto the side salad plate before the entree arrived. I've eaten a lot of Mediterranean food, and I've never seen it served that way. The Garlic Sauce: This was a huge letdown. It looked and tasted like straight mayonnaise with a hint of garlic powder--not the authentic, pungent toum or A fresh bright white garlic sauce you'd expect. The tzatziki sauce might have been the best thing on the plate as it tasted fresh and authentic. The Meat: This was a Jekyll and Hyde as some of the meat was tender but some was overcooked and it was like that for everybody's meal whether they got beef, lamb or chicken. The Rice: Every entree was served over saffron rice that was dry, almost like it had been sitting out sunbathing for the day. The Falafel: Good crunch, but the inside was on the dry side. The Vibe As someone with a background in the industry, one thing really stood out: while our server was struggling to keep up with the only two tables in the restaurant, a cook with an apron was sitting in the lobby looking bored and disinterested. It's never a good look for staff to be lounging in front of customers regardless of how busy the restaurant is. Final Verdict Maybe it was just an off night, but for the price point, it doesn't compete. When you compare the quality and value to places like Meddys, Darna, or Mr. Gyros, this was extremely subpar. Sadly, I won't be rushing back.
