One of the most amazing meals we've ever had, it has become our absolute favorite takeout place. I can't even begin to describe how good their food is, hidden gem for sure. Also very consistent, none of that it's good today and bad tomorrow, nah it's ALWAYS delicious. We have tried pretty much everything in their menu but our favorites are the Iraqi kebab with Iraqi bread, half chicken on rice, hummus with pita, falafels, all their shawarmas, baba ganush, kunafa, baklava and fries, all incredible. We tracked the driver on the app. Driver two shows up and the food has now been sitting for 10 minutes. The total time 90 minutes. Quoted 45-60 minutes. Food taste, quality and portions are very good. The main issues seen are short handed staff providing the best service possible but terrible phone attending customer service. This was our second visit today in person dining and both times food quality was great with the same issues seen in terms of staff. The only time we have visited is on the way back from airport; otherwise it's a 40 plus min drive from south Overland Park and calling in their contact number for advance orders is an uphill task with low chances on someone picking up calls. read more

We started with the Arabic tea with honey, grape leaves, and soups (lentil and okra). For the main we had the chicken shwarama and fried fish platter. Our server was excellent and attentive! The building is tucked inside the North Kansas City Early Education Center campus, but they are most definitely still running! There is so much culture and beautiful art to take in while you eat. We came in for a weeknight dinner for a fairly large group. The exterior is really misleading. The restaurant is the only open shop in this small shopping center, but don't let that deter you. We've been here twice now. Second time around was for sure better. It was a Friday night about 7pm. The service is not speedy here, but the food makes up for it. We had a mint lemonade, it was Delightful. We had the grape leaves as an appetizer, very flavorful. The red sauce on top was perfect. The lentil soup came with them meal. We waited 15 minutes, and no one came for a drink or food order, so we left after the waitress sat down at a table with several men (who already had drinks).
