This hidden gem that opened up off 39th street is easily one of my favorite new spots of 2026. I'm not kidding when I say the hummus was the best hummus I've ever had. You must try it! Along with the freshest watermelon salad. The space is so cute and open, the staff went above and beyond. I can't recommend this spot enough

The tacos are nothing I've ever tasted before!!! I was so impressed by the flavors. Can't wait to go back and our waiter, Jacob was amazing! Can't wait to go back.

We celebrated a birthday at Beirut Taco and it was delicious! The inside is bright and sunny and fresh and service was quick and good! The top shelf margarita was small but mighty! We tried a variety of dishes and all were amazing. We especially loved the carne asada tacos (meet was so juicy and tender), the fusion hummus, the guacamole, the shrimp plate (burrito on a plate) and the lamb burritos. All were fresh and such a great blend if you like Mexican and Lebanese food. We will definitely return. The bar would be a great spot for a drink and quick bite!! The only downside is parking is a bit of a chore but they had a QR code for guest parking so there might be a lot nearby that we weren't aware of.

I finally made it to Beirut taco which took over and revamped the inside of the old Bronx pizza on 39th. The inside is colorful and lively and offers a great sit down casual vibe for middle eastern and Hispanic flavors. This restaurant is truly unique because it is Something Kansas City hasn't done before by fusing the two flavors. Our waitress was quick to get us seated and offer us drinks. To start we shared the guacamole and labneh which were both amazing. I got the carne asada tacos as my meal and enjoyed the green sauce that was offered on the table to pair with it. This is a great spot to have right before the World Cup!

Although the restaurant was well-decorated inside since it felt cozy and well-lit, the food was a bit overpriced since the portions are small for what I got especially the lamb hawawe burrito. Despite that, the waiter was friendly and I enjoyed the labneh salsa macha and the burrito. The salsa that was provided was yummy too. However, it appeared that the pita was pre-packaged beforehand and was not fresh out of the oven unlike many other places which sucks. Although it's a nice addition to the KC dining scene, I wish the pita came out warm before serving and it's worth trying once if you like both Mexican and Lebanese food.

Such an interesting fusion restaurant! All good vibes and a trendy atmosphere. Try a little bit of everything because it's all delicious. The Asada tacos were the best item and least favorite would be the fundido appetizer. Everything came out quick. It was definitely crowded and with just recently opening - they are a hot spot so expect a little wait.

This place was so good! They just opened and I was curious about the Mexican and Lebanese fusion of flavors. The street tacos do a fabulous mix of mixing flavors and seasonings from both worlds. The esquites I'll be back for and I need to get back in to try a burrito and dessert. The crunchy taco has to be one of my faves and the halloumi cheese taco as well. Owner has another place in KC. Cannot wait to do happy hour too! 39th street is a whole vibe!

Fire for the first time. Definitely a must try! So proud of Kc for growing and giving me different experiences to try!!

Bursting with flavor! Loved it! It was a bit pricey for portion size, but I would definitely still go back.

Excellent food. The watermelon salad and guacamole were delicious. We also had 2 different chicken tacos. Can't wait to go back.

It was a small touch, but it immediately conveyed a level of attentiveness and professionalism. The highlight of the evening was the service. Kareem was exceptional. He didn't simply take our order--he guided us through the entire experience. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, from explaining dishes in detail to recommending wine pairings that complemented the meal perfectly. He checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive and genuinely made us feel welcome. He wasn't just selling food; he was representing the restaurant and the overall dining experience, and he did so exceptionally well. The restaurant itself strikes a wonderful balance between sophisticated and approachable. It feels upscale without being pretentious. I appreciated the attention to detail throughout the space, including the beautiful brass accents above the bar. The patio looked inviting, although the summer heat made indoor seating the better choice during our visit. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, and every dish we ordered was outstanding. Some of the selections were served chilled, which likely contributed to the speed, but nothing felt rushed. The quality and presentation were excellent. My only minor caution is parking. Depending on when you arrive, you may need to park a couple of blocks away and walk. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's worth planning for. If you're unfamiliar with the area, it may be helpful to call ahead and ask for parking recommendations. Overall, this was an incredible dining experience, combining outstanding service, a beautiful atmosphere, and excellent food. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable night out.

We didn't have reservations and were dressed casually. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and we were seated in what was referred to as the "other dining room," down a dark hallway into a musty, warm, and humid space. Service was prompt and courteous, but the food was very disappointing. We were served a cucumber salad that oddly tasted like peanuts, followed by six completely flavorless meatballs--no seasoning at all, not even salt. The prices might be reasonable if the quality matched expectations, but it didn't. The contrast between the main dining room and the "other room" also felt stark and uncomfortable, as if it were a second-tier seating area. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on this experience.

The server was knowledgeable about which dishes to try and they recommended the beet pkhali dip so I had to give that a try. That Georgian beet dip was super good that I would order seconds. The classic hummus dip with flatbread was yummy too. The kebab platter with jujeh kabob, koobideh kabob, and adana kabob was the star of the show since all kebabs were flavorful and tender. The Persian butter rice was fire and one of the best rice dishes I've ever eaten to the point that I would eat it every day for the rest of my life. The only downsides are that it's not open during lunch and it's expensive but it's worth it. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant whenever I'm back in KC and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting KC. It was definitely worth about a three hour drive from Wichita and I don't regret it. It's easily one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in KC and probably my entire life.

By the time I got home, the pizza was cold and difficult to chew. I'm sure it would have been much better if it had been served fresh. The mezes were also packed together, so they ended up mixing with each other. It would be nicer if they were stored in separate containers. The chicken, however, was really good. I'll definitely be coming back to eat there in person and enjoy everything fresh.

You feel welcomed the second you walk in, and somehow that warmth makes its way into the food too. I've tried just about every Mediterranean spot in Kansas City, and this one stands out every single time. It tastes the most authentic and the least commercial by far. Everything feels fresh, intentional, and made with care. Nothing tastes rushed or mass produced. There's real love in the food here, and you can taste it. Their dolmas especially take me right back to my grandmother's kitchen. That kind of food memory is hard to put into words, but if you know, you know. Comforting, fresh, flavorful, and made in a way that feels deeply rooted and genuine. With the World Cup approaching and so many people coming through Kansas City, visitors need to know about places like this. These are the local spots worth seeking out. The kind you leave talking about afterward and craving again the next day. And if they have the mint lemonade, order it. The rose lemonade is always incredible too. If you can get both, mix them and thank me later. A true Kansas City gem. You won't regret stopping here.
