Went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago at like 1:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. We were seated right away. And I think they could tell we were in a bit of a rush so we put in our order right away. We started with the falafel which was very clearly made in house. The guacamole/avocado sauce that came with was interesting because there was tahini in it. There's a nice bit of heat, but nothing crazy. I ordered the halloumi tacos. My fiancé had the chicken Tinga. I preferred my halloumi tacos just because the textures and the contrast with the watermelon was delicious. My fiancé has a bit of a mission for himself to try Tinga tacos. Every place we go for Mexican food and he thought these were really good in a little bit different. I have no negatives about this place and hope to get to go there in the future to try more things. The menu is just so interesting! Plus, the service was fast and it was a really cute clean restaurant. Note for patrons, there's a garage behind the Jazz that used to be an open parking lot. They will validate at the restaurant, so don't stress about parking since the street parking has gotten crazy there. Okay the pescado fish tacos were like so amazing. They must be eaten fresh though but wow wow. And the guac appetizer dip is freaking amazing as well . Wow wow. Yum yum. So much yum. The place is super cute too. And the waitress was so cool and friendly. I wasn't a huge fan of the lamb chorizo taco but I also don't like lamb. lol. The chicken tacos were good but they were quite runny so it made the taco fall apart and disseminate but flavor was there and it was yummy. Price wise, pretty pricy for two tacos but worth the try!!! read more

What an interesting fusion restaurant. They have a beautiful, clean, and spacious interior. I was quickly greeted and seated upon entering. They have a fun and interesting menu of Lebanese and Mexican fusion. I started with the Esquites, corn dip, it was creamy but the salsa on top of it balanced it out well. I tried the Pescado Taco, which was excellent. The corn tortilla was soft, the fish was fried with a crispy batter and slaw on top was great I also for the Lamb Chorizo crispy taco, it tastes just as it sounds. We arrived on Saturday around 12:30p and the place was packed for lunch. The patrons were of all ages and from diverse demographics. Based on the sound level everyone was having a good time. I'm not sure the staffing was enough for the crowd and it was probably the reason for the slow start for getting started with our experience. However, it did seem about 10min later more staff arrived and Jacob became our server and attention was much improved. The delay in getting started had no impact on the timing or quality of the food. When I see Watermelon Salad on the menu I have to order it. I loved the combination of flavors, but wished the cucumber was cut larger in order to scoop them up to eat and a lot less red onions. The quantity balance was off, but the flavor was still good. We had the Crunchy Lamb Chorizo Tacos which has a little, but not too much kick and the Chicken Shawarma Burrito. The portions were good sized and as it turned out more food than we needed. The menu had other items we would like to try in the future. Pricing is what one would expect in these days of inflation. I met a couple of friends here. Beirut Tacos is a fusion of Mexican food a Middle Eastern. I was excited about fusion tacos, but saw another patron's order. They are real small. I ended up with the non-alcoholic Frozen Jalleb drink. It was on the small size, but I loved it. Frozen fig with rose water and wanted to drink more. I ordered Sumac Chicken flautas. They were small and I could've eaten 6. They had pull chicken with onions in a small hard shell. Drizzled on top was sumac and creama. I had 3. Again they were quite small. At the Mexican restaurant, for 11$, I'd have a meal. They were delicious but the highlight was the frozen jalleb. Parking is a trail in hell. I think they validate from the parking space nearby. Don't get me started how they built apartments and took away parking. The restaurant has a comfortable look and a friendly staff. The menu has a few more items I'd explore. read more

We stopped here early on a Thursday evening. We easily found seats and I was immediately elated simply based on the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. It was pretty early, but there were a few diverse patrons already eating and more people started to fill in for both takeout and dining in as we sat. Our server was very prompt and helpful. I was overwhelmed at the variety of vegetarian items (IYKYK how hard it can be sometimes for us). I started with an old fashioned to drink and we ordered the labneh esquites for an app. Since this is Mexican and Lebanese fusion, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the esquites were just what I desired. Think Mexican elotes paired with smoked labneh and Aleppo pepper. It came paired with a generous quantity of fresh tortilla chips. The old fashioned wasn't anything spectacular, but decent nonetheless. For my entree, I got the ma'ali veg burrito. It was a rather large burrito filled with falafel, eggplant, cauliflower, lime-cilantro slaw, tahini and labneh creama. My wife got the chicken shawarma burrito. I inhaled half of the burrito and piled on even more of the delicious crema. TBH the crema is one of the best things about this place! There was plenty of food, but we had to leave room for desert. I was not prepared for how yummy the saffron cardamom tres leches cake would be! It was so perfectly moist (I hate that word--but it's certainly the only way to describe this)! I'm not even a sweets person either. There was plenty left to take home, so come with an appetite or come with friends to share around the table. There are so many more items I would love to try here. Our service was good and I'm so glad this place is filling the once empty void on this corner of Bell. I even convinced my coworker to order this at work the next night and he absolutely loved it! read more

I love chicken shawarma, and these tacos were unique and tasty. I love cucumber pickles especially, not a huge fan of the pink pickles. I'm not sure if they were beets or onions, but they were pretty easy to take off. The sauce on there was also really good. The artwork on the walls and the general vibe were really nice too. I love fusion taco concepts, so I was excited to finally try this place! First of all, the space is beautiful! Lots of tables and a long bar, with a stunning mural on the wall. I was greeted warmly immediately when I walked in. The taco and burrito options are incredible, I would have ordered anything on the menu! The halloumi tacos with fruit salsa were so delicious - though I admit the portion felt a little small for the price. The fish tacos on the other hand were very generous and also delicious. I ordered takeout and got a burrito, and unfortunately made it all the way home only to realize I had received the wrong burrito. The goods news is that it was delicious anyway! The takeout order came with a green sauce that was addictive, and I want to put it on everything. Beirut Taco is located on the busiest corner of 39th street, but you should be able to find street parking relatively close by! read more

This hidden gem that opened up off 39th street is easily one of my favorite new spots of 2026. I'm not kidding when I say the hummus was the best hummus I've ever had. You must try it! We celebrated a birthday at Beirut Taco and it was delicious! The inside is bright and sunny and fresh and service was quick and good! The top shelf margarita was small but mighty! We tried a variety of dishes and all were amazing. We especially loved the carne asada tacos (meet was so juicy and tender), the fusion hummus, the guacamole, the shrimp plate (burrito on a plate) and the lamb burritos. All were fresh and such a great blend if you like Mexican and Lebanese food. We will definitely return. The bar would be a great spot for a drink and quick bite!! The only downside is parking is a bit of a chore but they had a QR code for guest parking so there might be a lot nearby that we weren't aware of. read more

I finally made it to Beirut taco which took over and revamped the inside of the old Bronx pizza on 39th. The inside is colorful and lively and offers a great sit down casual vibe for middle eastern and Hispanic flavors. This restaurant is truly unique because it is Something Kansas City hasn't done before by fusing the two flavors. Our waitress was quick to get us seated and offer us drinks. To start we shared the guacamole and labneh which were both amazing. I got the carne asada tacos as my meal and enjoyed the green sauce that was offered on the table to pair with it. Although the restaurant was well-decorated inside since it felt cozy and well-lit, the food was a bit overpriced since the portions are small for what I got especially the lamb hawawe burrito. Despite that, the waiter was friendly and I enjoyed the labneh salsa macha and the burrito. The salsa that was provided was yummy too. However, it appeared that the pita was pre-packaged beforehand and was not fresh out of the oven unlike many other places which sucks. Although it's a nice addition to the KC dining scene, I wish the pita came out warm before serving and it's worth trying once if you like both Mexican and Lebanese food. read more

I think I broke a personal record for consuming $12 in food in less than two minutes...and I was pacing myself! The two Lamb Chorizo Gyro tacos with pineapple salsa were unique and delicious but with being on miniature street taco corn tortillas and a disappointing amount of toppings; I can't find a reason that I would ever spend $6 a piece on these again. For about $15 across the street, I could get 3 tacos with premium fresh toppings that are twice as large and 3 times the amount of toppings. I'm a big fan of blending culture and cuisine but I don't like being played for a sucker. I mentioned this to my waiter and he agreed they were pretty small and said that I should have ordered a burrito... now ya tell me! The interior design was beautiful! Staff was excellent! Great customer service and food was so great! If you try the three different orders, I would try the chicken one first since it's so juicy, the tortilla breaks easily since it's a more traditional tortilla. Or the restaurant could double up on the tortilla. Then eat the lamb and save the fish for last. All of them were good but the fish is the best out of all of them. The food is delicious! Everyone enjoyed what we each had - I had the ceviche (large portion, enough for lunch), and my friends each had tacos. I would happily go back again. One thing, though, I don't know if the server was inexperienced but: she bussed everyone's plates while I was still eating, and brought the check, while I was still eating! (In my defense, ceviche is to be savored, and there's a lot of assembly). She didn't ask if we wanted anything else (coffee or dessert). Finally when she took my friends' credit cards, I put my hand up and said, "Still eating!". Slow it down. It was friends having lunch. We were chilling; you could too.
