The cashier was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and one of the owners, Joseph, even came out from the kitchen to hand us our food. We were also given some house-made hot sauce and dried Aleppo pepper that he brought back from visiting family in Lebanon, such a unique and memorable touch. We also appreciated the overall design of the space and branding. The packaging felt intentional and well done, and the free stickers were a fun bonus. The biscuit is certainly on par and what one would hope for. My other half got the Chicken Fried Steak, which was great. This also allowed me to try the gravy that they use for the biscuits and gravy, I would certainly consider getting this next time. It is one of my favorite breakfast foods. The plates are chipped, the cups are clearly old. The tables and chairs are tired. The walls and ceiling are dirty. Our table was dusty/dirty when we sat down. If it wasn't for that, I would give this place a solid 4 for its food and 5 for its service.

The affogato hit the spot, pretty good espresso with ice cream and a touch of what I think is rose at the top on the cream. Happy eating!

They brought out a small chalkboard sign wishing her happy birthday. They also gave her a generous slice of really delicious cake. I tried their Climber Burger which has pepper jelly and peanut butter on it (and bacon!). The thought of peanut butter and jelly on a hamburger seemed odd, but a friend told me that it was really good so I thought I would give it a try. It was delicious! The pepper jelly gives it a little bit of spiciness and the peanut butter blends in with the other flavors better than you might think. They donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of that burger to a local culinary program, which is very cool. I had some dipping tots, which were nice and crispy and apple cole slaw. It's a fun place with a small arcade for the kids and a virtual golf room for the bigger kids. Give them a try if you're in the area! I should have taken some pictures, but the food was so appetizing that it slipped my mind.
