I have honestly never had any problems here until tonight. I called in ahead of time and asked for Pizza, Bread Sticks and a Soda. The owner (or at least i believe it was the owner) answered the phone and told me it'd be ready in 15 mins... I was waiting for my husband to get home, so we could go pick it up together. While I was driving, i got a missed call from a 619 number, so i let it go to voicemail since i didn't recognize the number and Tasty Pizza has a 760 number. When we showed up he informed my husband that he had already sold our order, because he thought we had "changed our mind" - i have never seen or heard of that happening ever... that's not how that works... you don't sell someone's order because they arrive 7 mins after you call.. My husband asked him how long it'd be to get the same order again and he went off.... he told him not to worry about it started waving his fingers in his face and being super disrespectful to my husband, who just asked a simple question. He went around the corner and grabbed the pizza and bread sticks - he then charged him $11 for two items, i had asked for pizza, bread sticks and a soda.... he swapped the bread sticks for cheese sticks. so clearly there was a huge miscommunication here... my husband walked to my vehicle and i saw that he did not have the beverage. so i walked in calmy, i wasn't looking to argue and i wasn't looking to catch his attitude. I asked him about the soda... he said that i didn't pay for or order that & he was being super disrespectful to me in front of other customers... at this point i didn't even care for it... he could've honestly kept that soda and we could've gotten it elsewhere. It's a shame that he treats people like that, if you had a bad day... keep it at home. don't take it out on your customers! UPDATE* He sent me a private message and this is what it read: Thank you. I give this 5 stars because of the value for your money. It is really good pizza, good crust, lots of toppings. The everything pizza is really tasty. Skip Little Caesars and go here. I've seen some of the negative reviews on the owner. Listen, he's always been pleasant when I order and pick up. He's putting out a really good product for a good price, probably wishes he could charge a little more to make a better living wage, so when something goes wrong, maybe he questions more than he should. I come to this pizza establishment with my boyfriend at least once a week, they have amazing pizza for a great price; but I'm the type of chick that likes ranch with her pizza. they charge an excessive amount : $1.50 for a cup of ranch and will refuse to just sell ranch if you had leftovers from the day before? also, the couple times I ordered the garlic bread sticks they forget to give me the marinara sauce every time. half the staff doesn't understand English.... Last Friday night was getting gas at Mobil right in front of this pizza shop. I was getting hungry and wanted to grab something for my 1 and half hour ride home. It was nearing 10 pm which is the time they close but the nice gentleman said he can still make my pizza. I got the Hawaiian pizza and it was pretty darn delicious! Pretty solid pizza, a great alternative to little Caesars. My gf wanted to try this place and I was hesitant. I'm really into round table and on the other end of the pizza spectrum little caesars (cant beat that value). To my surprise it was pretty darn good. Solid crust and good amount of cheese.
