It's ridiculously affordable, it's crazy good, it's quick, it's convenient and damn, it's Tasty. My love for this little place has grown exponentially over the course of the last month. From ever-expanding and exciting pizza flavor combinations (white mushroom pizza w bechamel sauce, swiss cheese, garlic confit, and fresh jalapeno!) to ever-changing soups served cafeteria style and some kind of magical slaw recipe to go with the chicken sandwich... not to mention the restaurant namesake pastries. These things have catapulted this place into my top 5 Omaha restaurants. Keep up the great work! read more

Tasty Pizza just moved into this location in the Aksarben neighborhood. It's actually not far from the original location on Leavenworth but offers a lot more space. The menu and hours are exactly the same and the pizza just as tasty. I enjoy the fact that you can get multiple eight inchers for $5 or $6 each. This location will also offer beer and wine at some point. read more

Stopped in to try some pizza, and was not disappointed. This really is a no frills spot, they do one thing and do it well. They knock out affordable and very Tasty pizzas. Tried the Margarita and Supreme. Both were very good and hit the spot. I love the complimentary wedge of Parmesan, help yourself. They also offer some salads and desserts. They have unique pizza combinations and I'm looking forward to going back. $5.50 for an 8 inch and $10.50 I believe for the 16 inch. I just wish they were open longer hours. The place is small and can get crowded so plan ahead if you plan on eating there. read more

The best price to value equation in Omaha hands down. It is the ne plus ultra of Omaha pizza places. The small pizza is the perfect size for one person. The amount of toppings and sauce are perfect. It is speedy. The app is simple and great. This location has plenty of parking and a decent amount of seats. The two signature features are the big cheese wheel and the stacks of Sir Lancelot flour. You pay more at other local pizza places, but are they better? Is it worth the extra cost? You decide. read more

+Bacon gouda pizza was on par, tasty blend. Dough is hand tossed. The guy preparing the dough even took a moment to show some kids a couple of card magic tricks. Cute. -Chicken slaw sandwich was a no go ever again for me. Way too salty and just not particularly tasty. -Parking is lacking. +On the plus side -well priced for a bite at lunch. Cute decor and friendly employees aside from one, who just exuded mediocrity. +++Oh, I almost forgot to mention there were chocolate chip cookies at the entrance counter -free to sample. Nice touch. read more

The pizzas here are definitely appealing when it comes to the visual aspect; they're always presented in a nice way. Their taste is just as good. My favorite would have to be the meatball pizza, the meatballs bearing great juicy flavors & mixing well with the sauce. I also had a margherita pizza and a large hamburger & cheese pizza, both which turned out to be pretty good as well. The pizzas are also priced reasonably; I love how you can buy good pizza here without being charged so much. At other places its usually $50-$60 but it only came to around $30 here for 4 pizzas, one large and the other 3 small. The employees here did have masks on during this experience so that's also good. Be sure to try this place; its one of the best pizza places I've ever been to. read more

Great pizza!!!!!! But they don't allow you customize pizza which I didn't like but the basic pizza options are still great!

No frills tasty pizza is exactly what you get. Lots of choices and quick service!! Consider adding som additional salad choices vs just iceberg lettuce. read more

Tasty Pizza truly lives up to its name. They might even consider updating their name to Not Just Tasty But Very Tasty And Also Incredibly Fairly Priced Pizza. To order, you gawk at the descriptions and photos of their pizzas overhead and then punch in your order on their touchscreen tablet. There aren't options for substitutions but they're honestly not desired because the topping combos already sound perfect (unless you have dietary restrictions of course). And I still can't believe the pizzas are ~$5! The kitchen is small and open, so you can see them preparing the food, which is always a fun and reassuring feature. Our pizzas came up hot and cooked perfectly, with bubbly chewing crust. You know a pizza place rocks when their margherita pizza truly shines... Tasty Pizza nailed the pizza elements of sauce, cheese, and balanced flavor without having to add a bunch of novelty toppings. I also loved their Veggie pizza! Being able grate your own fresh parm from a big ol' wheel made everything even better. They have a few other treats in their mini-case on the counter like salads and desserts, which can round out a full and fantastic meal. read more

Best crust ever! Rarely can an 8inch pizza hold up to beets and goat cheese. These are heavy, savory ingredients and inevitably they can turn the center of the pizza to mush. Not at Tasty. The crust was chewy on the edges with a thin crispy core. I drizzled mine with balsamic glaze. Whoa!! So good and also felt healthy. The tiramisu was delicious and the side salad was a great value and very fresh. This entire meal was cheap! ($12 for two people). They don't accept tips at Tasty, but they should. I will be picking this up on my way home on Thursdays (they are open until 8 on Thursday as and Friday's). read more

Driven past Tasty Pizza for years never seemed to be open when I did, their hours are a bit different. I will say you need to figure a time to stop and and try their Pizzas. Prices are amazing for what you get, 8" pizzas $5 and lattes are $10. We places will match the shear volume of toppings, the pizzas are loaded up. Simply a great little known gem for pizzas, small local place doing pizzas right. read more

Don't pass this place up. This hidden gem is honestly the best pizza in town. Don't be fooled into thinking this place won't be up to par based on the small pizza sizes and low prices, because you'll be missing out. Service is friendly, and the ordering system is made easy using an iPad for self-service. The dough is made in house, but can vary depending on your visit as they still don't have an exact measured dough recipe and schedule, which results in small variations in the crust. However, I've never had a crust that wasn't good. They use a special flour here that results in a nice, chewy crust. All pizzas come in personal size, but you can order a large pizza in basic varieties only for about $10. The personal sizes come in several flavors and range in price from about $3.50-$5ish. My favorite has to be the Pesto Bruschetta, which comes with pesto, artichokes, chicken and a few other things. Drizzle a little balsamic glaze from the counter on top and sprinkle some fresh grated Parmesan cheese from the giant cheese wheel for an amazing pizza. The other favorites are the Hawaiian and hot sausage. Make sure to check this place out. read more

It's good pizza. Quick and easy. Prices have doubled in the past few years. Not spectacular but it's good for an easy food option.

I finally made it to Tasty Pizza and am now mad I haven't been here before. I've only heard amazing things, live nearby and drive past it all the time. The fact it's in a nondescript house in a residential neighborhood might have something to do with my lack of pizza eating here. Also, their lunchtime-only hours. No matter, the pizza here is damn good and cheap! The toppings are fresh, as is the house-made dough. Each personal-sized pie is made-to-order and comes out with perfect crispy thin crust with an excellent doughy crust. And they're all around $5 each! The margherita was simply fantastic, topped with large pieces of fresh basil. There's even a huge chunk of parmesan cheese and a grater customers could use for some ultra-fresh parm to top things off. The atmosphere is low-key and family-centric. Like, just come here and eat some dang good pizza. read more

4.5 stars Enjoyed a nice lunch with the fam and 3 of the 8" pizzas: spinach feta, bacon gouda, and hamburger. Plus shared limoncello and tiramisu desserts. Total for the 3 pizzas, 3 desserts, 3 fountain drinks, and tax: $25. The pizza: -spinach feta was tasty but a little dry. But good! -bacon gouda was very good. -hamburger pizza was good. The dessert: -tiramisu was mediocre. -limoncello was good and lemony. The dining space: quaint and busy (it was lunchtime). Staff: friendly Overall, good experience. I'll go back. read more

Yes, love the sauce, love the dough and the toppings are great. It's a place we go to regularly now, even though it is five miles away. There are plenty of pizza places around but the unique menu, along with fair pricing, means it's my families first choice and also means you can get several different flavors without breaking the bank. I also learned that they sell their pizzas frozen too. I'll be doing that soon also, but for now, give a shot and try them all! read more

My husband and I heard a lot of great things about Tasty Pizza. So we finally decided to give it a shot. We loved the pricing, service was pretty good too. The only thing is that the pizza taste to us was pretty average. We'd definitely would go back again for the price and because the pizza was good. In our opinion it was just average though. Great option for a good meal on a budget for sure. read more

I found Tasty Pizza on Yelp whilst looking for a local pizza joint. I was drawn in by the $5 personal pizza's. Although my family is back in California I could see this being an awesome pizzeria the whole family could go to and everyone get the toppings they wanted. The pizza itself is what I would call a football pizza, little to no flop, crispy crust and fresh toppings (maybe a little less greasy then tradtional football pizza). The staff have always been really nice too. There side salads, although basic are good with the dressing they provide you. Overall the price for the pizza is some of the best I have seen anywhere in the country, you can't beat $5-6 for a personal size pizza baked fresh for you. My 2 criticisms about tasty 1. The pepperoni they use could be better. 2. When I have went in they allow dining inside where people without masks are feet away from where you pay. If you are going to allow dining inside you should heavily seperate and space out these people. My onebite review would be a 7.6, above average pizza, not amazing but for the price I have to give it 4 stars. read more

Love this place, it had been too long!! It seems like they are doing well which is great to see - there were cars parked down the street for takeout. Tasty Pizza - Large margherita - Pizza Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

Amazing food, one of the top pizza spots in Omaha! Super friendly staff and cute atmosphere too (-:

As a precursor to this review, one of the underlying bases for my Yelp! ratings is value. Value, as I define it, is based on what you get (quality of food, including taste, preparation, and ingredients used, service, ambiance, etc.) and what you pay for it. In the case of Tasty Pizza, you get a really, sorry for the pun, 'tasty pizza' for an affordable price. Thus, I dub thee, Tasty Pizza, 5-stars. Keeping that in mind, the rest of the establishment is great. The restaurant appears to be a converted house right off of Leavenworth. It is at the west end of the Leavenworth business strip, catty corner to the Midtown Lifegate church. By the way, apparently, you can park at the church's parking lot in case Tasty's is full, since there are only a couple spots, if you do not want to park on the street. The conversion was well done. There are several tables available inside, as well as a small patio if you want to enjoy your pizza outside. I ended up getting a buffalo pizza, which put me back $5. It was very good, with a crust that tasted homemade and toppings that were packed with flavor. The gouda was a nice pairing with the buffalo chicken. I am definitely going back to try their other pizzas. read more

So glad they extended their hours on Fridays until 8PM so I could finally stop by after work and give this place a try! It looks really small from the outside, but there's actually a decent amount of tables inside. 3 stalls for parking off to the right when you turn in with additional parking at the church across the street. They post their weekly $3 specials on their FB page and this week was their pesto bruschetta pizza (pesto, cheese, chicken, artichoke & bruschetta). As if their original price ($5.02, ranges from $3.65-$5.02) wasn't already a steal! I went with their special even though I prefer tomato sauce and am always wary of dry chicken. There was no regret. Thin, crispy crust just the way I like it, generous, fresh toppings, and juicy chicken! Asked for a side of their tomato sauce and it was perfect to dip the crust in. Also got their limoncello dessert ($3.65; funny that it ended up being more than my pizza haha) and that was pretty good as well, but a lot more creamy and less tangy than I was hoping for. 3:1 ratio of the creamy stuff to the soaked sponge cake on the bottom. Love that they have a big block of parmesan for you to grate on along with a bunch of other toppings! I dressed mine up with balsamic glaze, red pepper flakes, black pepper and oregano..mm-mm good. I've always loved personal pan pizzas - maybe because of how well they hold up the toppings or their crispier crust (or most likely because I don't have to share) - and tasty pizza makes one of the best I've ever had. What are you waiting for? Go get one! read more

You can not beat this place for quality and price. The personal pizzas are delicious and so incredibly affordable! They have a rotating weekly special that puts an individual pizza at under $5 and for the high quality product they turn out you simply can't find a better pizza for the price in Omaha. Plus, the fact that they offer the individual size pizzas allows you to mix and match and order a few so you can try several of their delicious options. While I like all of the ones I've tried, bacon Gouda is hands down my favorite. read more

Besides the obviously fresh out of the oven set up, the pizza we ordered taste simple, pure and wonderful! Our first time here we had Margarita, the classic style to test out. And immeditely we fell in love with the pizza here, even me the not a fan for tomato sauce, loved it. They offer fresh Mazarella cheese on the counter. You will need to grade them and then place it on your pizza. It was fun and uniquely delicious to the already wonderful flavored pizza. Every one who gave it a five star as the best out there.....how much are you getting paid? The pizza is so thin for no good reason. You want to taste the bread of the crust, but there is none. And what there was, was discolored on the bottom from the pepperoni the crust needs to be thicker. Don't skimp on the foundation of the pizza. Was it a fluke?? Im willing to try again. Next time I'll get pictures to illustrate what I'm saying. read more

We love this local pizza joint! Quick, good price, great crust! We love the pesto pizza-so good!

This has become our go to lunch spot now that I have a huge lunch break to share with my hubby. It's pretty decently timed for lunch but parking can be a hassle as well as table seating especially on the weekends. Their higher priced pizzas are usually on sale so we always call ahead to see what that is and get that plus another pizza and their limoncello dessert which is to die for. We love that they provide complimentary coffee as well as no tipping allowed. The rumor now is that they have the classic pizzas available in large instead of buying two-four of the individual sized one for about $10. Don't also forget to grate and put on fresh parmesan cheese at the end! The ladies are always accommodating and friendly and we heard now you can self order electronically at the counter! read more

Best ice cream around! The staff is super friendly, and they always let you try however many ice creams you want. My favorite is their Butter Brickle, but all of their flavors are great. You have to try this place to know what good ice cream should taste like. Definitely recommend this place.Everything here tastes fantastic. My favorite pizza here is pepperoni followed by veggie, and their chocolate dessert is amazing. I love their salad and ranch, it tastes so fresh, but they are a bit small. Price is fair, and if you go there hungry with two people, definitely get three personal sizes. One of the front staff seemed overwhelmed when I went due to the volume of orders by phone and in person. Their pick-up line and order line was confusing, and people kept asking which line was which. Overall great experience, but if you go there on the weekend, you should probably go early if dining in because you won't find a space to sit. read more

In 2004, I had the BEST pizza I'd ever had in my life, while on vacation on Italy's Amalfi Coast. I'd never had anything like it, it blew my mind and I became obsessed with finding something similar back home. After 15 years of desperately searching for some semblance to this pizza from the gods, I finally found it at Tasty Pizza. The moment my taste buds recognized that perfect flavor profile of a perfect Neapolitan pizza, I completely lost it, my search was over. I think I placed an order everyday for two weeks straight; I was ineffably happy...no, I was complete. Tasty Pizza is LITERALLY the most authentic Neapolitan pizza you'll find outside of Italy. Trust me, I'm a pizza snob, a self proclaimed aficionado, if you will. This is the real deal. And the prices??? You can't beat them!! They're so inexpensive, and they had the audacity to apologize for a $1 increase a cpl of years ago. I told them to never apologize for raising their prices a bit closer to what it deserves, for its authenticity and quality (and the prices are STILL nowhere close to what the food is worth, but don't tell them so they keep them low ). All in all, Tasty Pizza ended a 15 year search for the most amazing pizza that once crossed my lips. Next to traveling to Ravello, Italy, this is the best pizza you'll ever find. Their s#!t's LEGIT!!!! I LOVE YOU, TASTY PIZZAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! p.s. be forewarned: you can NOT customize/ create your own pizzas, they have a set menu and you can NOT make substitutions. A small "sacrifice" for an amazing pizza, for an amazing price, for quick order times. If you've ever worked in a wicked busy restaurant, much less a restaurant, in general, you'll understand; it's a means of streamlining their processes, as well as minimizing complaints for mistakes. I'll take quick pickup times and perfect orders over a need to make my own, any day. It bewilders me how such a policy can bring out the pettiness, the Karenicity in some. Get over it, people, it's just FN pizza!!!!! read more

I love this little gem of a pizza shop even with its short hours, lines, out the door, and 20 min wait. The pizza is so good and so reasonable! I tried the chicken pita this time around and will definitely be returning. The pita is huge and stuffed to the brim with chicken and a delicious jalapeño slaw. Only $6.75! The pizza ranges anywhere from the $3 range to $6. They are good sized and have a variety of options. I also noticed this time around they have fresh Parmesan to grate on your pizza! None of those cheese dust packets for these guys! read more

Tasty Pizza - Fresh parm to grate on your - Pizza Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

One of Omaha's best kept secrets when it comes to pizza! Situated on the corner of Leavenworth, this cute little pizza joint is easy to miss. It's a tiny little house with a sign proclaiming "Tasty Pizza". And boy, is it tasty! The inside is small but cozy. There are a few tables scattered throughout. Up on the wall are homemade signs with the pizza offerings. You order yourself through an iPad and pay with a cars scanner. You can pay cash by hand through your waitress, though. The prices are ridiculously low. We got two pizzas, drinks and salad for less than $15. I chose the meatball pizza--wood fired crust, big juicy meatballs and cherry tomatoes that had blistered and split open in the oven. So good. My companion chose a Hawaiian pizza-juicy pineapples, sweet slices of crisp ham, yum! There is a display case with desserts and salads at great prices, too. The staff is friendly and personable. They even extended the hours recently due to an upswing in business. This is a great place to have a date, casual lunch, or just to hang out. They have a cute little outdoor patio area to eat, too. Check it out! Spread the word! Give this little business the patronage is deserves! read more

There are two pizza places I recommend. Tasty is one of them. Phenomenal pizza and so many choices for personal pizzas that are actually quite a good size for the price. unless you know EXACALLY what you want.. DO NOT order. and might not want to call it in either.. not accommodating and dont care about your order because they may miss out on another one. Huu!?! well either way you missed out on a Oder-mine and spent over 100.00 some where else. also not accommodating when I come to adding a topping even if it's just ONE. I have been told everytime that you can't take anything off either( except this one time) even if your allergic to a veggie but still REALLY want everything thing else- to bad so sad don't even THINK about it!
