The best pizza in town! And the prices are the best too. I love their thin crust, the yummy ranch, and the giant cheese block where you can grate your own parm. They have a weekly rotating special where you can get one of their large pizzas for $15!

Frozen pizzas at 32nd Ave store

New Hanscom Park location!! The highly anticipated opening of the third Tasty Pizza has arrived! Located in the former building of much beloved Lo Sole Mio on 32Ave, the new location sticks to the tried and true. Walking in the front door, the bar is now seating for approximately 50 customers on chairs with small tables, plus upholstered bench seating along the wall. The bar itself has been repurposed for restaurant use and the first dining room is for ordering, with a pizza oven kitchen in the back and cases holding salads, drinks, deserts, and frozen pizzas to take home and bake. The salads are the standard ho hum chopped iceberg with two tiny tomatoes but the pizza is the star of the show! Pick up drinks from the coolers as well as salads and desert, then pick a table. Your name will called when the pizza is ready. This time Bookguy and I both ordered 8 inch, 4 piece vegetarian pizzas. His was loaded with mushrooms. Mine had a variety of veggies: pizza sauce, mozzarella, black olives, tomatoes, spinach, onion & mushroom. They looked like works of art with ample toppings and crispy thin crust. Perfection! This location is still a work in progress with the limited seating and the third dining room given over to storage for now. There is outdoor seating, but it isn't in use yet. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood!

My favorite pizza place in Omaha!! Tasty pizza has some amazing pizza and it's as adorable a lunch as you can get. Their small pizzas are just perfect for one person (you might even get a slice to save for later). They even have a huge block of Parmesan cheese you can grate yourself for your pizza (and a bunch of other things to top off your pizza with). It doesn't take too long to get your order and the staff is always hustling. I have tried many of the pizzas, the bacon Gouda may be my favorite, but their cheese, meatball, and pesto pizzas are all excellent as well! Great spot for lunch or dinner and they even have a patio as the weather gets warmer.

This place might have the best pizza crust in town. And THAT is the foundation of a great pizza. And they also have a REALLY good pizza sauce. And all the toppings are great too...but there are a lot of pizzerias that have great toppings but don't pay attention to the actual pizza. Tasty Pizza is the real deal. Might be the best pizza in Omaha. I always get a small, this time I got a Combination. All of the ones I have tried have been delicious and they have been PERFECTLY cooked every time. The value is fantastic at about $7 or $8. Lots of space in the sunlit dining area. Highly recommend!

Love some tasty pizza ! Crust is great for dipping in ranch. They have many pies / options to choose from. They only have small 8" of large 16" pies. Prices are very reasonable. If you eat they have a self serve large block of parmesan that you can grate as much as you like for your table. The pepperoni pizza is absolutely delicious as well as the hamburger mushroom pie. Can't go wrong here.

We grabbed takeout last night and our large order was done in 20 mins, order was correct and price is unmatched. Absolutely recommend! Pizza was also good!

Can't believe I haven't reviewed the best pizza in town yet!!! Tasty Pizza has the best personal and large pizzas in Omaha for sure! The ingredients are fresh, the pizzas are always piping hot (even if you order to pickup). The app is easy to use or you can call in for a pickup order, their service is always efficient and quick! It's a very laid back space, you can put your own cheese on your pizza from their giant cheese block, they have an array of drink options you can get from the fridge and they have AMAZING ice cream from a shop in Ohio! The pizzas we got this time were the Buffalo Chicken and the Meatball! So so so so soooooo amazing, I like the buffalo chicken the best but the meatball is a close second. The crust is thin but fluffy at the same time, the meat is always tender and the sauce pairs perfectly! They also have veggie pizza options if you are not a meat person! And keep an eye out for their pizza of the week, where you can get a personal pizza for $6!

Where's the meat? Scattered and scarce. Lots of Garlic. Chewy lasts a long time. Frozen pizza at its best. Not the best value.

MmmMmmm Tasty pizza was just so good! We had to try their bacon Gouda pizza which was perfect. We got the large size. The crust is the tastiest I've ever had. I can't get over the texture. It's just so delicious and perfect! I love try at you can grate your own Parmesan (use the gloves!) lol. That added a bit of extra fun to our meal. We took a slice home as leftovers for lunch the next day. Definitely worth it and something I'd happily recommend! :D

Tasty pizza is my go to pizza place! It's delicious and the people always get you in and out quickly! The place is super cool and I love that they have the big block of Parmesan cheese you can top your pizza with when you dine in! I love the bacon Gouda pizza, but the buffalo and pesto pizzas are also always solid choices. Great place!

Don't ask me how to pronounce it. No one seems to know…read more There is something about Spezia that is so welcoming. No wonder it's always packed. Friendly service, comfy setting, and oh yeah - the food! Unfortunately for me, there is too much seafood on the menu but there's always something. People rave about the seafood dishes so I'll trust them and say it must be good. I'm just not into it. On this visit, we each ordered a cocktail. I decided to try the lemon martini which I never order and OH MY GOODNESS. It was awesome! They nailed it. The limoncello brought it home. My dining partner had a dirty martini and was satisfied as well. We enjoyed a Spezia salad which featured mixed greens, prosciutto, tomato, Kalamata olives, and a house vinaigrette. It all combined so well. The lettuce was wonderfully fresh, no need to pick out rotting leaves like some places. The dressing was simply light and delish. We shared a plate of spaghetti. You get several options to add to it. The grilled spicy Italian sausage sounded good. I'm not sure which was better. The sausage or the marinara sauce. Both were soooooo good!! The sausage was truly grilled and spicy and just amazing, and it was not greasy either. The marinara sauce challenged my own that I make at home. We devoured that plate of spaghetti which was big enough to share. I forgot to take a picture as it was served so I am sharing a tight shot of half the order after we divided it.

Spezia, you let me down!…read more Our waiter struggled to keep up with the dinner rush. We arrived for our reservation and were seated at 6:40 where we weren't greeted by our waiter for quite awhile. It took a long time to get our drinks and I had to ask for bread so we decided to skip appetizers and go straight to our entree. When ordering the entree our waiter said "and which salad would you like?" And then listed the salad options. Normally when ordering a main and the waiter says which salad do you want that's because the salad comes with the meal. Nope. We were charged $11 per salad that we didn't even really want. The salads were your average side salad, but thankfully had good dressings. We hadn't brought up salads, the waiter did when we ordered our entree. So we were disappointed to have $20+ in salads that we didn't request until the waiter offered them. Our salads were finished for at least 15 minutes before our main entree came out at about 7:30, nearly an hour after we had been seated. My shrimp scampi was good, the broccolini was a touch under cooked but the flavors were still good, and the shrimp was surprisingly large in size and cooked exactly how it should be. Had we been served quicker and not offered things that didn't come with our meal when ordering our meal we may have been happier, hard to say. The table next to us was sat about 10 minute after us and had a different waitress. They received their entire meal (including bread & apps) and left before we were offered dessert. The food is good, I won't discredit that at all. But when coming to a restaurant like this you are expecting a level of service that we just didn't get. I'm sure we'll try again in the future and if service is better I will definitely update my review but for now, this was a let down of a birthday dinner.

Right off the bat, we were greeted warmly and had the sweetest waitress. We ordered drinks and some focaccia. It came out warm with fresh parmesan cheese and oil. Light and airy, it melted in our mouths - absolutely delicious! Our pasta entrees were each perfectly seasoned and plated. Al dente. We both could have licked our plates clean! The sauces were perfection. And then the best part of an already flawless meal - the homemade tiramisu. If you come here don't order that, what are you even doing?! For $4 you must try the very large portion of rosemary focaccia. They also have one my favorite Caesar salads in Omaha. I also love to snag a spot on the patio if available -- great people watching!

For the quality you get, the prices are hard to beat, which makes the experience even better. The ambiance is warm and classic, exactly what you would hope for in a traditional Italian restaurant. It feels authentic and comfortable. Service was fair overall, but they were extremely busy when we visited. Our server was clearly working hard and doing their best to keep up, which I appreciated. This is a MUST HAVE, I repeat a must‑have. Perfect crisp outside, soft inside, next‑level cheese pull, and that garlic drizzle seals the deal. I could've eaten just that and left happy. For the main course, I had the penne bolognese fiorna, and it was flawless (rich, fresh, and a generous portion). My better half went for the Big Vinny Combo (chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo, baked lasagna). Everything hit except the Alfredo needing a touch more salt... though she definitely didn't need any help enjoying those glasses of wine. The kiddo crushed her cavatappi with shrimp -- fork never stopped moving, and she couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Though it could be considered slightly pricey, it's absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back.

No worries though, once seated temps seem to regulate better. Service was a little slow, but we weren't in a rush. Bread and olive oil were a delight. The bread was soft with a nice crust, and it's just a little nosh until meals are served. I had the fettuccine with lobster, which had a sauce lighter than Alfredo, but thicker than broth. There was plenty of lobster sprinkled across the black pasta, with good flavor, not overcooked. With a normal appetite and not overindulging in bread, the serving size is just right. No leftovers. We started off with happy hour drinks and calamari. The lemonchello and Negroni are strong!!! You've been warned! The calamari was surprisingly delicious. It didn't have a fishy taste, the breading was thin, tasty and yummy. The sauces it came with were also bomb. It had a nice kick along with pickled peppers that I could eat by itself. Now to the stars of the show -- margherita and pepperoni pizza. Wow. It almost felt like our taste buds were transported to Italy after the first few bites. Both of these pizzas were on the happy hour menu. I strongly recommend getting them if you're in a pizza mood.
