The last couple of times we ordered the food was super inconsistent. My husband likes spicy food, but they started dumping spices on top rather than infusing flavor into the dish. We also ordered two of the same dish (fried rice) to go and one container had a good amount of food and the other had way less. Then something has happened to the recipe for the peanut sauce that goes with the spring rolls. It's not good anymore. I would give this dish a five except for I think the noodles could be cooked slightly less. They're pretty soggy by the time they get to you, but the flavor is out of this world. The only other reason I did not get a five is because it was supposed to include broccoli and potentially some other vegetables and it did not. There's always room for improvement. Went here for the first time with my girlfriend. It's a hole in the wall and we didn't have any expectations. It looks little sketch from the outside but the food was great and a perfect place for a quick lunch. If you go during lunch hours the entrees are cheaper. We had the Hawaiian fried rice and yum nua. Both dishes were delicious and flavorful. The crab rangoons here are pretty decent too. They also serve some basic Vietnamese dishes like pho and vermicelli bowls but I can't speak to how those are. Since the pandemic prices have gone up and while I don't mind, I am shocked to see the quality of the food go down. My seafood pad Thai came with imitation crab (not listed on menu), 4 shrimp (way over cooked) 2 of the tiniest mussels I've ever see , no scallops, and 1 calamari ring. I ordered it medium there was no heat whatsoever on the dish. So now I have 18$ seafood pad Thai that is nothing like what was served here even just 5 years ago. Placed an order online for pick up this week. It said it would be ready in 20 minutes so I waited 15 and made my way to pick it up. When I arrived I was asked the name in the order and they said it wasn't finished yet. I waited for 20 minutes and finally asked again since it had been about 50 minutes total since the order was placed. They found my meal was done and had been sitting in the window for pickup the entire time! They tried to give me the meal and I asked for it to be remade as I wanted fresh hot food not cold. A gentleman looked around the corner at me from the kitchen and I heard a lot of commotion from what seems to be distaste for me asking for a replacement meal to be made. It seemed as though it was an inconvenience. I waited for 10 minutes for what I hope was a new order. Returned for a pick up and the meal was ready this time. We were on our way to the airport and husband wanted Thai. This was the only option along the way. The location can be a bit off-putting as many shops in the strip mall sat vacant. We ordered pad Thai with shrimp only but husband got shrimp and chicken. We didn't bother to ask for a re-make because we were in a hurry. He asked for medium and it arrived with dried chili flakes on top. I tried some and it was too soggy for my liking. The pad see eiw was pretty good. There wasn't much brocolli and I wish there were more noodles in the dish itself. I ordered it with tofu and there was PLENTY of that so that's good at least. My husband got the Gra Praw Nua. He said he gives a 3 out of 5 stars and probably wouldn't order it again. The "poo thongs" (can't even type it without laughing so try ordering it over the phone lol) were our favorites. They're basically little pouch like crab rangoons, but the sauce that comes with them is really tangy and good. I will definitely go back to try something else. A quick easy answer to food. I wanted to warn you not to have high expectations. They offer lots of daily specials which makes this place appealing for a budget but I wouldn't say this is the best Thai in town since it isn't. The food to me is edible and there is a large menu & the convenience and price brought us here. I've never been "wow'd" by the food here, but sometimes it's downright hard to eat. There just seems to be zero consistency. Please specify the spice level as it's really bland in by itself (we go with medium). This place has really gone down hill in quality since Covid and shutting down the adjacent restaurant but oddly remains busy. I'm assuming the only Curry within miles. Their Pad Thai is the worst I have ever tasted. Now they use some reddish sauce that's tastes like it's from a can!! Definitely not traditional versions, as I've have eaten Pad Thai in many cities and countries. The Tom Kar soup was served almost room temperature(!!!) and at the same bloody time as the main course! We don't eat Thai much and were having trouble deciding what to get, so we just got the appetizer sampler, which is served in a giant boat. The boat serving was kinda silly. The soup she brought first was really good. The appetizer were mostly good. A couple of things were not my favorite, but still edible. Everything was fried...it'd been nice to have some things that weren't fried. Although the restaurant seemed clean, the menus were caked with yukky goo.
