We only had about an hour fifteen before we would be late to the thing we dressed up for, so it was crucial to eat, and get down asap. We walked in and were quoted 30 mins. I had to hit the restroom so I dipped quick. When I came back they were sat on the patio already. Sweet!!! Server had pulled them aside and told them to sit in her section outside. Love that!! It's all blue where we sat and made for some strange pics. It was nice on the patio though. It was one of those few nights in Tuscaloosa when you can eat outside comfortably. We ordered fast and had a few different dishes. Nothing outstanding about it but I would come and dine again to see what's really up. I look back now and see some interesting options. I had a big ass verde burrito. Tasted great, I was feeling good at this point, so maybe...?? I ate some beans, they were fair. The burrito was tasty and enough for two. No rice ingested. It's ok at best. Most meals I have had in this area are fair at best. Not a fan. This place is better than most around town, and it's about 20 minutes outside Tuscaloosa. The dynamic duo that served us could not have been any nicer or more helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Portions are ridiculously large. Prices are insanely low for the quality and amount you get. I had the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and jalapeño cornbread. I opted for the salad for C to eat. She got the pulled pork with beans and onion rings. This is a complete 180 from the norm. The plates are normally reversed. I thought that this was funny when she mentioned it to me.
