Killer pizza, killer beer menu, and killer views, what more could you ask for? Even amidst the labor shortages, we received top notch service at our first visit to Tatanka Tavern. We were swiftly seated indoors to enjoy a beer, and the staff graciously moved us out onto the outdoor patio as soon as a table opened up outside. Being the only rooftop bar in town, it's hard to argue with the fact that Tatanka has the best views in town, but they really compound the experience with excellent ambiance, a fun and delicious menu, and pizzas hot and quick from the oven! We tried the Fungus Amongus and Sweet Virginia (both recommended by our server), and were delighted at the outcome. They rarely serve take out pizza. Seems like they just want to cater to front of house guests. They are losing local customers when they have such good pizza. Call their number and you get a message that they aren't taking to go calls. They are losing a lot if potential income. Too bad because the pizza is really good. Yummy yummy yummy- pizza! It was so good while sitting on the roof top over looking the town and drinking a local beer. I would say other than the wonderful tasting pizza it's not is what I expected because the sauce and toppings didn't make it to all the sides of the pizza - it was not a hearty pizza but more like a gourmet pizza and I thought because of this it made it kinda small for 2 people so I ordered a salad and that too was delicious but rather small, all this is under a spendy price $$ It did help that our waiter was prompt, friendly and wearing a mask. I've eaten here countless times. Service is great. (fast and friendly) I recommend the bleu salad, the stuffed mushrooms and ALL of their pizzas. (Tho not enough quantity on toppings) I'm not a dedicated fan of Neopolitan pizza. But, hey pizza is almost always at the very least good. I like their selection of available beer. I was so excited after reading about the new pizza joint in Driggs. Top floor with a view too? It was bookmarked and on my "must try when in town" list. I must say it didn't disappoint. I ended up meeting friends and figured out, in order to reach this top floor restaurant, you must enter the "buffalo" building and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. You can enter the building from the main road or the rear. Plenty of parking behind the building too. As a reference, this is the same building as Teton Thai. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was truly wowed. The atmosphere and decor was warm and very hip. There were a variety of regular and pub style tables available along with a long bar area with plenty of stools. Although a large place, I can see it getting a bit busy with limited table availability. There is also an outdoor balcony which I hope will be open during the summer. Arriving at exactly 5pm for an early dinner, we were advised to grab any table we liked. No need to wait and be seated. I asked about happy hour and was pleased to learn they have dollar off wine and beer. They also have discounted starters, which I opted to pass on, saving room for pizza. The wine and beer selection was a very nice variety. The service was a bit on the slow side but it certainly didn't matter since we weren't in a rush. Although the specialty pizzas on the menu looked very appetizing, we opted to build our own pizza. When the pizza arrived, it appeared the toppings were a bit sparse. Regardless, it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. It was flavorful and very tasty with quality ingredients. I am very picky about pizza and can say, I'll be returning as soon as possible. As the word gets out, I don't doubt this place will certainly be a happening place. We ate here while on vacay in Driggs. My gluten free pizza was SOOOOO DELICIOUS!! My husband had a meat and veggie regular crust and he said it was delicious as well. The view is sooo much fun up there on the third floor! It was cool watching the town from that viewpoint and watching the gorgeous sunset! A must-go!! read more

Rude Staff. Not welcoming. Heard such great things about this place so definitely wanted to try it while in town. I called the day before but they explained they don't take reservations but it shouldn't be a problem to come in with just 3 people. We arrived. Waited by the hostess area for a good 5min. Our server, Kim, seemed to define the term "resting b**** face. Our beer and pizzas took seemingly forever to arrive, as well as did the check at the end of the meal. All the while we watched as the pizza cooks ate the toppings out of their containers while preparing the pies, as well as eating from Chinese food "to go" containers and doing "beer shots" with the other male server. In most states this is not only gross, but illegal! The cooks did all this gloveless, of course. A great product but the manager could have been more accommodating and user friendly. Request for a takeout order at 7:45 was rebuffed based on anticipated business at that hour and we witnessed a 10 pie TO order refused at 7:25. Based on 15 min TAT for a 5 pie order with the room half full at 7:15 that seems curious. While realizing that the goal is to maximize revenue and at the same time keep the oven usage at manageable levels to serve the seated it would seem reasonable to find a compromise. Why not do surge pricing for the last 90 min takeout to see if you could drive revenue yet still accommodate both subsets of customers.? read more
