What a cute place for a relaxing drink before dinner. Tucked away off of Platte Street, but don't let that fool you. Once you walk in, you'll be in love with the ambiance and the abundance of indoor plants purifying the room. Not only that, but their drinks are as unique as their space! Every drink was made with passion and looked like something out of James Bond, even the mocktail! Which is the one I had, Oh Mai! Even my boyfriend was surprised by the delicious taste! The bartender was attentive to my friends' request for something good and different. She did not disappoint them and even made them seconds and thirds! Love this place!

Went there this weekend with some friends with a reservation and every table was full. We waited over 25 minutes for our table and then another 15 to order drinks. I ordered a Kombucha as I don't drink alcohol and I was given an IPA which was on our receipt. I was oblivious and thought that the kombucha was meant to taste like beer as an alcoholic alternative. Also was very hot in there it was unpleasant.

~OUT OF TOWNERS~ Sierra was a great host, server!! Right from when we walked in the ambiance was cool and inviting. Having a hostess with the mostess made it top tier customer service experience. Her vibe and energy was amazing. I had the espresso Martini, Divine aviation, dragon heart, Moscow mule. All drinks from the mixologist were amazing! endless others i forgot to name lol i will be back for sure. Thank you Sierra!!!

Went here for some after-work drinks to kickstart the weekend. Got a reservation and I'm glad we did, the spot definitely got busier and busier as we enjoyed our drinks. For food we went with the flatbread and pretzel sticks. The flatbread was good and filling, but wasn't too special. The pretzels were amazing though. Buttery and soft with two dipping sauces. The drinks are fun and delicious. Very unique options with something for everyone. Great presentation with all of them. The last drink I ordered was served in a lantern with smoke! The service was professional, efficient, and friendly. The bar itself is charming. Relaxing atmosphere but it did get loud.

I came into The Broken Cage on a very snowy late afternoon hoping to have a nice cocktail with some friends . I absolutely love the atmosphere in here. The bar feels very organic and is covered in beautiful plants that hang from the ceilings and decorate the seating areas. The service was amazing, we were met with very friendly conversation and jokes. We had two amazing espresso martinis that were topped with a whip that I will tell my future grandkids about. (It was that good) we also had one green tea shot that was honestly one of the best I've ever had. This is a cute spot especially if you're feeling "wintered-out". Seeing all the greenery and having a nice cocktail or mocktail will bring you right back to summer vibes!

This is the perfect quiet place for a fun happy hour. Drinks and apps were around eight dollars each. They also have lots of greenery everywhere that is also for sale if you're a plant lover. The bartender was very attentive.

This was a perfect cocktail bar for catching up with a friend. Our bartender Sera made delicious cosmos that had the perfect amount of tart and sweet. It's also a plant shop with many beautiful plants for sale. If I wasn't traveling, I would likely have left with a Maranta leuconeura, (or so Google image search says!!)

One of the most aesthetically pleasing cocktail bars ever!! Plants galore with fairy lights (?)! We actually came here on a whim to wait for a friend, but it was definitely a wonderful choice. Our server was so friendly and sweet too! Their drinks were super unique! My friends drink was an alcoholic dalgona coffee. The perfect drink for any coffee lover!! Meanwhile, I don't remember what mine was called, but it had popping boba in it!! It was like drinking a juice. Dangerously delicious I really enjoyed it. Definitely want to try other drinks and try their food! We will need to make a reservation next time.

Love this place!! The ambiance is 10/10!! There are so many plants and the greenery is amazing. Great vibes all around. I came here with a friend to grab a quick drink and a small appetizer. They have great happy hour 4-6 M-F with great deals. We both got an ice wine martini and it was delicious. We also got a tomato jam jar for a little appetizer and it was decent, but could've had a little more flavor for my liking, still good and refreshing though. I ended up getting an espresso martini before we left (for me it's a must) and it was one of the better ones that i have found in Denver so far the staff was friendly and helpful and they also had great music playing! Also fun: you can buy some of their plants there!! As a plant person, this is a go to!! Will definitely be back.

Great spot for cocktail and snacks Has a happy hour too. Great vibe after work for conversations and hanging out. I'm impressed by how this spot keeps their plants well. All the green leaves were so pleasant to the eyes

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.

Laid back vibe and welcoming staff. Nothing pretentious at all. The bartenders were knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. Always stayed on top of my drinks. The thing I like most about Death & Co is the way the categorize their drinks: Light and playful, bright and confident, elegant and timeless, boozy and honest, and rich and comforting. I had the aqua profunda (cognac, St. George basil eau di vie, lillet rose, strawberry, lime, and absinthe). I also had the eight limb daiquiri (rum, Canada aguardiente, Thai tea cordial, lime leaf, and Maraschino). The Blood Oath (mezcal, Vecchio del capo, Calabrian chili amaro, St. Germain Elderflower, lavender, honey, lemon). All were complex and delicious. You could pick out every flavor, yet everything melded together so well. They also have some basic bar food and snacks, but somewhat elevated. I had the D&C Burger and it was juicy, rich, and had some great accompanying fries. I usually try to give a more in depth idea of cocktails available, but Death & Co has such a diverse menu with so many amazing craft cocktails that I can't offer that this time . . . you'll have to go in and see it for yourself!
