    Lamb Hash

I had an amazing experience here. I ordered a pistachio latte and the lamb hash. It's self serve. You order when you come in and grab and number and someone brings it to your table. You rarely find a restaurant where you're entire meal was great. The lamb was tender and the herbs were fresh. There is a bakery there so even my toast tasted like a delicacy. I will be returning.

I was really disappointed in this place. We came in on a weekend and the place was PACKED. Absolutely every seat was taken and the line wrapped around the counter. We waited an appropriate amount of time to order. We both got a breakfast sandwich , a pistachio latte and an iced chai latte. The iced chai was comepletlet watered down and tasted like barely spiced milk... the breakfast sandwiches looked good presentation wise but tasted blah. I was bummed because I wanted to like this place and maybe their other baked goods are better but I wasn't impressed.

Unimpressed with the carelessness in how my sandwich was packed. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich to go withy egg fried MEDIUM and when I got home to eat my meal this is what it looked like. The yolk had been broken which left the bottom bun to get sticky and soggy. The top bun either slid off or wasn't placed on the sandwich but it too was laying in yolk and soggy in certain parts. For the price of the sandwich I wish they took better care in the quality of the presentation of their to go packaging of food.

Ambiance and food - 4 stars. Service is dismal 2 stars at best. Line to order was long. By the time I ordered and requested for warm-up, they totally forgot the order! Price is on expensive side but variety is good.

Coffee is so good and drinks are very large for the price. Cute vibes and great spot for working or hanging out.

This Tatte location just recently opened, and it's just as amazing as all of their other locations! The food, coffee, and pastries are all delicious and super high quality. Today I ordered the salmon and avocado tartine which was super tasty and more filling than I anticipated. The sourdough was airy and you could tell it was fresh. Loved my iced vanilla latte too. The space is gorgeous and the best part is that there's a TON of seating. This place is great for grabbing brunch or getting work done. Not every seat has an outlet, but I was able to snag one pretty easily. The wifi is fast too! The staff were really nice and attentive as well. Overall, no trip to DC or Boston is complete without a trip to Tatte. I wish they'd open a location in Brooklyn!!

I always enjoy a Tatte experience. This location is very close to my house so stopped in on a whim and grabbed an iced vanilla latte. The coffee was very tasty--not too overly sweet. I didn't try any food on this visit, but I've had their baked goods before and they're pretty good. They seem to have a decent amount of seating here, but the place is always packed. There was a line to order and then about a 10-minute wait to get the drink. People didn't seem sure about how to pick up food or drink so there was a bit of mass chaos but I managed to make it out in one piece.

We were lucky enough to snag some goodies and got a bit of everything, we just weren't patient enough to wait to photograph everything. We did the Za'atar Gruyère Croissant, chocolate croissant, the cheese biscuit item they had (don't remember exact name) and the sfogliatelle. I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. My friend got a coffee and also enjoyed that! This is the perfect place to stop by for a treat if you make it in time!

All the pastry was delightfully flaky and appropriately filled. Pistachio croissant was dancing on the edge of being a bit too sweet but went very well with my latte. Latte and cappuccino were nothing to write home about, potentially underextracted as there wasn't too much flavor coming through. Totally inoffensive and wouldn't hesitate to get another espresso drink if we were grabbing pastries again. Nice quaint limited outdoor seating. Had a nice chat while we demolished our goods right out front. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff that knows how to move the line quickly!

This bakery is where it's at!…read more This spot is a wheat based bakery which I thought was unique and their flour is milled in the house. The interior is small but cozy- there's also some seats/tables outside. I ordered the savory scone and a chocolate croissant and they were both delicious. The scone had cheese, mushroom, and chives which all worked nicely together. The texture on the croissant is peak. Perfectly crunchy/buttery exterior with satisfying soft chew in the middle. The chocolate in the middle was the perfect amount and wasn't too sweet either. For drinks, their syrups are also made in the house too! I ordered the Chai and at first I asked for half the syrup because I'm not a fan of drinks that are too sweet, but the person who took my order assured me that it's not too sweet to begin with and she was right! The spices in the syrup were delicious Nice ambiance, friendly service, and delicious baked goods! Overall, one of my favorite bakeries I've ever been to. If you're in the area, definitely check it out!

I'm on a kick with trying new whole grains, wheat berries, etc. so this bakery was calling my name. I also loved that they offered some unique pastries that I hadn't seen elsewhere. We ended up picking out four of their pastries and coffee drinks to have breakfast on-site as a family. In our typical tradition, we cut everything into fourths and the whole family tries every pastry (everyone wins... ;). We thoroughly enjoyed both the savory and sweet (chocolate) options. I could see how this would be an acquired taste for some. I loved being able to peak into the kitchen to see the big oven and where all the magic happens. I also appreciated their sweet neighborhood location and the big windows offering lots of natural light. Overall, a positive and tasty experience.

The butter croissant is really the highlight here. The pistachio croissant is very good as well. Seems like it is twice baked, so the outside is a little more crunchy. Visually it looks like it could be a tough texture, but it's softer than you would think. I would say the texture is right in between brioche bread and foccacia.
