Nick is a gem who always helps be pick out the best jewelry! I also did two finger tattoos with a new artist to the shop, the lovely and talented Shaakirah who was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out one of them just by listening and talking with me about what I was going for..Nailed It! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Went in to get a very basic triangle tattoo. Was done by John in July 2018. The lines are NOT straight, uneven...and there is blowout. I am beyond upset. He clearly does not know what he's doing. Shame on me for not doing my homework first. I didnt realize how bad the tattoo was until after I got home. Went back in the next day to speak to Vanessa who was extremely impersonal and acted like she didn't care. Did not apologize or barely admit that the tattoo was poorly done. She simply said "I wasn't here when he did it so I don't know what happened". What kind of response is that??? She told me to come back after it's healed and that she would fix it or "remove it". Again, ????? WHAT?? I cannot trust going back to this place to get it fixed if these are the kind of people they employ. I want my $60 + tip back for this piece of junk tattoo. FYI, It wasn't painful so don't get worked up for nothing. It's just pressure you're going to feel. You get sent home with instructions on how to clean your piercing and an aftercare bag. I was out in hillbilly town a few weekends ago and googled a tattoo/piercing place and this came up. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and professional. My piercer, I think her name was Jessica. Was very nice and did I very good job. If you're reading this Jessica Thank you. There was a guy in there who I assume is a tattoo artist as well. Thought he was too good to do my tattoo hahaha. Well let's just say thank god for that pizza he was eating. I've had previous piercings done at Artistic Creations that were successful. For that reason, I chose to return for my belly button piercing a few weeks ago. Worst mistake. The piercer insisted I have it pierced with a hoop & changed to a plastic bar after 2 months. I reluctantly agreed and preceded with the piercing. When I got home, I realized how horrible it truly was. It was painful, ugly, not at all centered, and the more I researched I realized that piercings with hoops are awful for proper healing and it would likely reject. Thankfully, I was able to go to a different shop (No Man's Land) and have the piercing corrected. The hoop grabbed so much skin & curved at such a weird angle that we could barely fit the bar that I wanted. I'm so happy that I got to an educated and reputable piercer to fix Artistic Creations' nightmare of a piercing in time. I will never go to Artistic Creations again. The people are rude and unprofessional, the shop is dirty, one of the women made inappropriate comments about my body, and it was overall not a pleasant experience. I will be reporting them to the health department as well. read more

Great place to get inked, first they check ID and I'm 62, next they make you fill out a medical form and release. Then they go over the forms. After all that then they will talk to you about you tat. My artist (Richard) measured the art work I brought in and the place I wanted to ink. He then made different size layouts to match my existing artwork , as soon as he matched it up and I approved it we went into his private room and started the work. As it was on my leg and it was tender at times he gave me breaks as I needed, we were able to do the whole project in 4 sittings in about 31/2 hours. I am very happy with the design and the finished tat. Very clean, patience, respectful artist. This is my second tat from this place and 4 overall and my g/f got her first done there last year and is going back today for her next one(she's hooked) I have recommended this place to many people, strangers who ask about my ink. Got my second tat done looks awesome, only took 2 hours to complete. I gave him free rain on the art work off my design. If I could I would give this place 5 more stars....... read more

First off this place is dirty, a former artist there fell asleep doing a friends tattoo. I've been pierced here 3 times. Both of my tragus' were EXTREMELY painful and rejected (I've since had them repierced and they've stayed great) and done by a girl who I later found out was 17 without her mother (the owner) there. I went in and had my nose pierced by the daughter and she did not check my nose for capillaries and she ruptured them and my nose bled for 2 hours all the while she insisted that it would stop. She ran and got ice from the restaurant next door (which is illegal to attempt to give first-aid when you are not certified) Eventually I told her to cut my nose stud out and blood literally SHOT out of my piercing from all the pressure. I was swallowing my own blood and lost so much blood I had to have my friend drive me to the emergency room where I almost had to have my nose cauterized because she had nicked so many capillaries. The doctor said she would have seen it if she had simply put a flash light up my nose like other piercers do! They are over priced and dirty, and let their children pierce without supervision or a license! DISGUSTING & DANGEROUS! read more

i tried out this parlor because of positive reviews i read online on other sites as well as yelp. i went a little over an hour before closing on a saturday night. i was interested in showing an artist my idea for a tattoo and perhaps getting an estimate on how long it would take and a price. i wasn't planning on being tattooed that night, i planned to make an appt to go back when there was more time in the day. the girl who greeted me when i walked in barely let me finish what i was saying before she walked to a room where one of the artists was sleeping and woke him up. he came out rubbing his eyes and didn't even smile at me. he looked at my picture, and said (without eye contact) no, i don't want to do that, wait for tina. and walked away. one of the other people there said tina would be a few minutes and asked if i wanted to wait. i said yes and waited for 25 minutes! no one said anything to me in that time, not even, sorry it's taking so long. they didn't even acknowledge that my friend and i were there. i never saw tina, we left and no one even asked us why. i will not go back there and neither will my friend. i'd rather drive out of my way then give those people business. i've never been treated in such an unfriendly fashion anywhere, let alone somewhere where i was willing to spend a few hundred dollars. save yourself the effort, time, and frustration and go ANYWHERE else. i didn't meet a single friendly person in there. read more
