This place is fantastic and probably the best in Middletown if not Orange County if not NY. This is my short review keep reading for the full story; go here you won't regret it. I got a full set that is EVEN, BEAUTIFUL, and PERFECT. There literally perfect in every way. I also got their deluxe pedicure and it is way worth the price. It was the best pedicure I've ever had. Everyone is super nice. These ladies are up to date on trends and techniques. Go here! Long story: I went to my regular place after being in quarantine, I made the apt and still had a long wait. I got a pedicure and they just scrubbed my feet, cut my already cut nails. then painted my toes. Awful for the price, I then got a full set. I told the tech (who I've been seeing for over a year now) I didn't want the color on my toes on my hands and she still did it I told her 6 times at least no, she told me don't worry I'll love it. Color I can get past but the nails were all different lengths and crooked. Next day I called here they got me in same day due to a cancellation. I sat with JaneyLiz she tried to save the nails at first, she measured them out (I've never seen anyone in Middletown measure their nails!) they were 3 different lengths, and they were so crooked it wasn't worth saving. I also want to note the steps there taking for covid in the shop are so above and beyond. She started soaking my hands and I asked for a deluxe pedicure so we went to start that. It was the best pedicure I've ever had, it was relaxing and everything felt and smelt amazing. I usually walk out of pedicures disappointed but my feet are super smooth and it's not just the amount of lotion they put on like at other places. She ever joked around about using the toe color on my hands since I mentioned what happened. After the pedicure she started my nails I gave her free reign with the only guideline that it was summery. She delivered. My nails look amazing and I'm glad I went here and will never go anywhere else! At my last place I'd ask for something and be told no, or that they can't, or that they don't have what they need for that, not here. They know what there doing! I initially was hesitant to go here based off the yelp reviews specially that if your not a 'friend' of one of the girls you won't fit in, but that's not the case or at least I didn't feel that way. JaneyLiz made great conversation with me, and at one point I was talking to the other tech as well, and the one tech made sure I was comfortable and having a great pedicure. Let me start by saying my nails did come out amazing. I came in with a picture and my tech was able to match it perfectly. I got a ton of compliments, but because of my experience, wouldn't recommend. I made an appointment online for early on a Saturday afternoon because I had to work that evening. I got a text that morning asking if I would be willing to push my appointment back. I immediately responded saying that wouldn't work because I had to work that evening, and didn't get an initial response. I called later in the day to confirm, and we came to an agreement of a later time, but not as late as initially suggested. (My appointment was for 1, and we agreed on 1:30 vs 2 pm) When I arrived, the tech let me know she was finishing up with her previous client, no big deal. I sat and just scrolled social media to kill time. When my tech finished, instead of taking me, her and the rest of the staff began taking promo pictures and a short commercial for the shop. I can respect that this is a business and there is a need for advertising and getting the name out there. I just don't understand why it needed to happen mid Saturday afternoon with booked appointments waiting. I finally got into the chair around 230. And while my tech was super apologetic, she also let me know there was no way she could finish the design before I needed to leave for work. She did apply the tips and acrylic, and shaped the nails. And we agreed that I could come back later (after my shift) to complete the look. When I called and texted on my lunch break I got no response, and the shop was closed when I left work. Early the next morning I got an apology from the tech with an explanation, and a promise to finish the look that afternoon. I returned to the shop around 130, and waited alone in the parking lot until 2:30 when she finally showed. Even though we had agreed on 1:30pm. She finished the set almost 3 hours later. And again let me reiterate, the set looked beautiful. I was getting them done for a vacation and they were perfect. I'm not at all criticizing the skill of these techs, because they are spot on. I just wished I would have been serviced better. While the tech was very sincere and apologetic about the entire experience, it still left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

NO! NO! NO!!! I was in the salon for three hours. I had to return within a week with a break. Now I have globs of lifting gel on my fingers and I am embarrassed to show my hands until I go elsewhere and have them taken off. Unless you are a friend, you will not "fit in" here. They speak Spanish in the shop, in front of customers and make fun of Asians. Highly unprofessional! While there is a large displayed sign warning you that your services will be terminated if you have a child with you who interrupts the nail tech two times, the owner's children are constantly at her desk, breathing in all of the chemicals and nail dust and needing her attention. There is also food and alcoholic beverages kept out in the open. The owner has artistic talent but not doesn't know how to do nails. All of the great designs you see on their page are just that, designs. The actual nail work is crap! The owner likes to tell you that people will say, "This bitch don't know how to do nails" about her, but there is clearly a reason for that. She doesn't! My nails are a sloppy mess and need to be removed and replaced. I asked for a specific shape and have tapered nails?? That's not the shape I asked for. I came here looking for better nail care and have completely destroyed my nails. Stay away!!! read more

You can see the passion in their work. My nails always look amazing & I get complimented every where I go on my nails. The salon is clean, spacious, lively and I feel good when I am there...it's family. The service is awesome, walk-ins are accepted and yes, sometimes the wait for Janey is long but that only speaks to her expertise. You get what you pay for and this place is top notch. First off I did love my nails and Lisy is a great conversationalist. My appointment was at 8am Christmas Eve but my nail tech arrive by 8:20 (my nails were done at 11:30am). I reached out to her a couple days ago because my left thumb nail started to peel the shiny gel product that topped the nail, I have yet to hear from her. Today I reached out to the owner and informed her of my situation but I still haven't gotten a response (I see they both saw my message). Long story short I ended up fixing my nails myself, I painted on top of the previous color I had. I paid $103 for my nails which I thought was outrageous but I paid it without complaints and left a $17 tip. I would've liked to go again but at this point I think getting no response was very unprofessional and the price should be talked about before service. read more

Was supposed to have an appointment with one girl, but she was running so late another girl took me. I wanted something specific (ombré from pink to light to white. Not pink and white) that's why they made the appointment with the original girl. Well needless to say I was at the salon for 3 hours. The other girl tried and could only do a dusting look. I said no and after all that just ended up with a super light pink color on all nails, boring. The inside is very cheap material and color scheme. Also, there are only 2 chairs for pedicure, a wax room, and multiple chairs for manicures which would be better if the workers didn't talk crap about each other and got along.. atmosphere says a lot. I saw a bunch of great reviews and the photos look great so maybe it was just the person that I had doing my nails but I was extremely disappointed. I was there from 3 pm-9 pm. They didn't take me until around 4:30 when my apt was 3:15. While doing my pedicure the lady got nail polish on my Birkenstock. The pedicure was ruined when I got home and it's already showing a bunch of white near to cuticle. Which never happens when I do my own toes. The pedicure was $28. Then when doing my nails I kept asking the lady to make them thin and gave her photos literally had photos out showing her the shape I wanted and she kept getting upset I can tell when I asked her to make them thinner. Now they are huge on my fingers , crooked and just very very upsetting. The worst part is the amount I payed. I paid... believe this $133 PLUS tip when I shouldn't even have given a tip. I have never heard of anyone paying that much for nails before I honestly think she just added random things to the price list because I was upset. No the apt was not at 5pm like the owner says.
